Chapters A letter that changes things
One whats so ever day in Equestria, a nice sunny beautiful day fit for a pool day. Looking over at Wonderbolts Headquarters Spitfire is locked up in her office doing paper work, Fleetfoot, Misty Fly, Silver Zoom have gotten together for some video games and now this leaves to Soarin and Rainbow Dash. Rainbow Dash and Soarin are having a little race against each other just to win a bet. Dash and Soarin just became marefriend and coltfriend a couple of months ago and their young romance has already blossomed.
"Hey you cheated Dashie, no fair." The pale blue pegasus told her.
"I won fair and square unless if you wanna eat my dust again, that's if you wanna." Rainbow Dash told her coltfriend.
"Bring it on. Here fly around training grounds, over to the academy, than Spits office and back here than?"
"Ok prepare to eat my dust, all of it 321GOOOO!!!!!" Rainbow Dash flew of nearly creating a trail of dust for her coltfriend.
"You naughty sexy thing," Soarin mumbled to himself.
Meanwhile Spitfire had so many reports to finish up because last night the Bolt's and herself went out to the main pub in cloudsville. So she needed this time to finish them all of. Until............ "Come in....." Spitfire said while writing up a few reports.
"Commander Spitfire, got you mail for the Bolt's and yourself," Derpy came in with a heavy mail bag.
"Thanks, um just leave it outside and I'll take care of that.......Right here is you muffen. Have a good day," Spitfire replied.
Rainbow Dash and Soarin zoomed pass Spitfires office this time not breaking anything. Spitfire dragged the mail bag all the way from her office to the lounge area where everypony was. "Ok Bolt's y'all got mail right now it's as boring as you lot," Spitfire had a smirk on her face.
"Phew I told you Soar I won," Rainbow Dash and Soarin had just finished their little race.
"No way Dashie I won and I know it,"
"Totally not I wo---" Soarin kissed Rainbow Dash on the lips in front of everypony in the Bolt's. Rainbow Dash stood there like a statue. She didn't mind if they kissed or cuddled not in front of everypony but now was just hard to gulp down. But of course she returned this kiss
"Awwww thats so cute, so Spits pay up 20 bits." Fleetfoot had Spitfire on a bet to if Soarin kissed Rainbow or Rainbow kiss Soarin in front of everypony today. "FINE but this is the last bet. I'm taking 20 bits out of your wage this week though." Spitfire softly told Fleetfoot.
"Soar one question what was that for right now?" Rainbow Dash asked.

Every Bolt was looking through the mail on what they got this week. Some of the Bolts get fan mail, or from friends or family. Most of them got fan mail that they can't be bothered to read them. One mail caught Spitfire's eye and read 'Rainbow Dash please read immediately' "Crash this is for you, it looks important," Spitfire gave Rainbow Dash the letter she was holding in her hooves.
Dear Rainbow Miriam Dash
I have to inform you that your father Night Dash has escaped the top high security prison in all of Equestria. I like to say please come to the friendship castle at once so we can have further matters about this and try to stop this. We are concerned that he has escaped to get a revenge on you. Your brother Rainbow Blaze is coming to because he knows a little bit about this to. Also please bring the Wonderbolts as well, and we'll send extra security up in HQ and your cloud home too.

"Guys, I know this isn't my style but we have to go to the friendship castle imdentilly now. Princesses orders." Rainbow Dash flew over to the door and flew right across as quickly as she can to Twilights castle.
"I hope everything is ok, Spitfire? Are you alright?" Soarin asked his fillyhood friend.
"Course I am, you heard her let's go!" Spitfire and the rest of the Wonderbolts flew over quick and able to keep up with Rainbow Dash.
Flying over quick to the castle she spotted 4 of her friends but ignored them because she didn't want to put them endanger. She flew as fast as her wings could take her and not to create a Sonic Rainboom, she was furious and the rest of the Bolt's caught up with her but didn't say a word not even to her coltfriend. They reached the castle and saw that Princess Twilight, Princess Luna, Princess Celestia, Spike and her brother were in there waiting for them.
"Sorry I'm late Princess, I just read the letter and came as quick as I could." Rainbow Dash apologized.
"That is quite alright I know how far HQ is. Now your father take a seat on your throne." Princess Celestia said.
Rainbow Dash sat on her throne, Princess Luna was on AppleJack's throne, Princess Celestia was on Rarity's throne, Twilight and Spike were on their own throne, Rainbow Dashes brother was on Fluttershys throne and no pony took the last throne.
"So Rainbow Dash, I'm not familiar with this what Luna and Celestia have told me andI question Rainbow Blaze to, but your father was a criminal who robbed banks, rapped, stole, murdered, frame and injure citizens am I correct?" Twilight asked Rainbow Dash.
"Spot on, but I'm just confused about one thing, how did he escape the top prison in Equestria?"
"We'll we are not so sure. He took out the entire royal guards guarding and backup but your brother was able to tell us what happened." Princess Luna informed Rainbow Dash. "So does anypony have a plan?"
"For now, I think I should give the Bolt's fighting training." Spitfire recommend.
"Good idea, we might need it just in case of a deadly situation." Twilight agreed to the idea.
"Yes, but we need to worry about how we can lock him up again. If he does anymore damage than he will need to be executed." Princess Celestia was concerned how they were going to capture him again. In fact they had no idea that Night Dash was stronger than he also looks, or how to take him down for good.
"Rainbow Dash, can you tell us anything we need to know about your father? I understand if yo--" Twilight asking Rainbow Dash.
"Ok It all started here....."
Flashback
"You guys will never believe this but my father used to be a really nice stallion. I loved him, cared, looked up to him until this day. It was only a normal day and what happened was............."
"Blaze you love my cutie mark don't you?" Younger Rainbow Dash said.
"Yea, yea I get it your cutie mark is awesome even if you did a Sonic Rainboom to, that was pretty cool!" Blaze replied.
"My father was overhearing my conversation with Blaze about my mark. Also during that time my father went drinking one night with a couple of friends and nearly rapped my mother. I heard one night with Blaze she was screaming and I decided to wake him up."
"Blaze get up I heard mommy scream. Wheres Daddy?" Young Rainbow Dash jumped onto Young Rainbow Blazes bed.

"I saw both of them hiding with Blaze he was in the kitchen with my mother laid down on her stomach on the floor with my father on top. Than fights started to happen, hatred, and one day my father divorced with my mother. We promised never to speak about this situation."
"Mommy, is Daddy coming back?" Young Blaze asked his mother.
"Honey, me and daddy had so many fights and I want you two to grow up into beautiful angels. We are not together anymore. I'm sorry."
"Those words came to me and I was crying for about a couple of days but I got over it. The years passed, I bonded with my mother more and she was always there for me. Until, when I was 15 years old one faithful sunset my father came back. He locked my mother up in a closet and me and Blaze........"
"Mom where are you?" Young Rainbow Dash asked.
"What are you scarred sis?" Young Blaze replied.
"No I just want to make sure she's ok, I love her." *SCREAMS*
"It was from my mother while I saw my father dig a knife into my mothers neck. We saw and tried to run away from him."
"Dad?!? What are you doing here?" Young Blaze asked.
"Oh there you kids are, you lot are coming with me." Night Dash said.
"He made scars onto our bodies, mine is on my left leg and my stomach *Reveals scars to everypony* and then Blaze got a permanent one on his eye, for head and right leg. It was *starting to cry* so painful and blood dripped everywhere. *crying some more* Fluttershy and Zephyr was passing by and she nearly got caught.....an--what happened was she called up the police and able to get us to the cloudsville hospital in time. Unfortunately my mother died and didn't make it out and the last--words-----------she said to me was 'Always believe in yourself Dashie, Blaze don't make the same mistake I did, I love you ' and than she was gone. My dad was locked up in high security prison forever sent to court and me and Blaze got new parents. So we moved out of our home got all our stuff and moved in with our second parents who loved us to death. And really cool they look alot like both of us."
Flashback over
"Rainbow Dash, it's ok." Twilight said while she was still crying. "Ok, I'll be able to gather up information and for the meantime Wonderbolts, I want you all to get something to eat and head out back to HQ and relax and make sure nothing happens." Twilight ordered them and their reply was 'Yes Princesses'.
Twilight and Spike were locked up in there library trying to gather information so Rainbow Dash didn't get hurt. Rainbow is with the Bolt's flying over towards Sugarcube corner to see her friends really quick and get something to eat.
"DASHIE, I was calling you from the sky but you ignored us WHY???" Pinkie Pie jumped onto Rainbow Dash to give her a big hug.
"Um.......I was needed at the castle," Rainbow Dash replied. "Pinkie, can you let me go......please........CAN'T BREATHE PINKIE!!!!"
"Oops sorry I just missed you can I get you anything?"
"Um what do you guys want?" Rainbow Dash asked the rest of the Bolt's.
"Wow they really have good stuff here, I'll take a milkshake!" Fleetfoot shouted out.
"Make that 2 I think I might have one." Spitfire ordered.
"Do you guys want anything than?" Rainbow Dash asked again
"Um...Oh there's pie. I'll have a pie to please." Soarin ordered of the menu.
After a little chit chat while having some milkshakes, everypony was talking causally but Rainbow Dash was quiet as a mouse. She said only a few words or nodded yes or no. Everypony at the table was wondering what was going on. Pinkie Pie was starting to wonder why Twilight nor Spike didn't come along with Rainbow Dash to Sugarcube Corner. Also Dashes friends knew something was up to, Rainbow Dash tried to ignore the subject because she didn't want to talk about it. Holding her tears in front of everypony she wanted to cry but she wanted to act tough in front of her friends to show she was brave.
"Dashie, do you mind if I ask, you've been awfully quiet don't avoid the subject whats going on?" Rarity asked.
"It's nothing ok I just wanna focus on this cupcake." Rainbow Dash didn't make eye contact with anypony either.
"Ok Crash that's it, you're never quiet before, your always talking somethings wrong." Fleetfoot tried to convince Rainbow Dash to talk.
"Fine, the truth is I'm scared what will happen now."
"What do you mean happen?" Fluttershy asked but then realised what she was talking about. "Oh no."
"Honestly what are y'all talk'n about?" Apple Jack asked.
"I'm scared because . my real father was locked up into high security prison and he's coming to get me. Thats why I ignored all of you and I don't wanna put you all endanger. You don't know what he's capable of." After her words she showed her friends the scars her father did. "This was the damage he did to me, and he blames me for my real mothers death."
"Oh that makes alot of sense. Well look on the bright side you have us and me!!! Hey I'm just about to become Einstein, why don't we all go do something to take you mind of and at sundown all of you can head back up to HQ, is that a plan?" Pinkie Pie asked.
"I guess we could spare a bit of time" Spitfire said. "We have nothing else better to do."
"Ok lets!" Rainbow Dash the bolt's and her friends left Sugarcube Corner.
"Spike do you get any of this?" Twilight asked the baby dragon.
"Nope do you?"
"Unfortunately no clue, why did he escaped now than before?"
Twilight and Spike were still locked up in the library reviewing the notes they got about Rainbow Dashes father. The purple alicorn just couldn't understand why he came back now and why not in the past. Princess Celestia and Luna with their personal royal guard Rainbow Blaze knocked on the door gently.
"Sorry to interrupt Princ---" Before Blaze could finish.
"Please call me Twilight honest, if you are Dashes brother I don't mind," Twilight told Blaze.
"Thank you, anyway Princess Celestia and Luna wanted to have a little check up on you. You really like your books don't you." Blaze came up to Twilight. Twilight gave a small nod and blushed a bit.
"Yea, I really like reading books,"
"Hehe did you know Dashie told me when we were foals she would never ever in her life read?"
"Yup, I was the one who made her an egghead, " Twilight giggled a bit and her blush was still there.
"I have to go now, I think the Princess wanna speak with you alone. bye Twily," Blaze leaned close to Twilight nearly for a kiss on the cheek. And with that Blaze exited the room.
"Wow, he just called me 'Twily', I only allow my brother to. He even leaned so close to me too." Twilight shoot up her wings and blushed madly. She liked him as a friend but not like that? She doesn't even know him that well. Unless if its love at first sight.
"Bye girls, this was fun." And now we have sundown I repeat we have sundown. Rainbow Dash and the Bolt's flew quickly back up to HQ. Rainbow Dash was worried about what would happen to her when her father was loose from prison. When the Bolt's got back to HQ, Rainbow started getting tears that came out of nowhere. She saw that some of the Bolt's saw her crying but she tried to hide them or wipe them. It was uncontrollable because all that she was thinking about was her mother that made her feel so missing and depressed. Her thoughts got the best of her and trying to hide her pain but couldn't so when she got back to HQ she excused herself to go to the bunks. When she entered the bunks she started crying heavily onto her bed sheets trying to take the pain and love out of her. She didn't know what to do, or how to go through this path that she stepped onto. Weeping by the minute, she didn't care what time was it and how many minutes was it. She heard the door open but didn't care, I was just probably somepony and she didn't care to look who it was.
"Dashie, you've been in here forever. We saved you some dinner and dessert I wanted to check how you were doing. Are you ok?" It was Soarin who walked into the door. There was no response just dead silence from her. Soarin put his wing around the cyan mare crying into his arms. He was warm, full of lots of happiness and joy. She started to feel a little bit better but there was no help.
"I was just....jus--" Rainbow Dash tried to act tough and Soarin interrupted her sentence.
"You don't have to act tough *Wipes a tear of Rainbow's face* you can always tell me what's wrong. I'm here for you,"
"I'm just thinking about my mother and father, I never knew this would happen to me but I guess one day I have to go through this." Rainbow Dash tried to explain to Soarin but then just started crying again. "I never got to experience what a kind loving mother is. Even though if I have my second mother that's not what I'm looking for. She was perfect and my dad just had to take it away from me." When those words came out of her mouth quietly, Soarin kissed her on the lips. The kiss was a nice long passionate one that meant everything's going to be ok.
"Hey, everything is going to be fine, we'll go through this together. Why don't you have dinner I can hear you starving." Rainbow Dash smiled at Soarin and hugged him. With that Rainbow Dash dried up her tears and went out of the bunks after her weeping. Soarin wrapped his wing around her while walking down the hallway towards Dashes dinner.
Rainbow Dashes night............
It was 1am in the morning, Rainbow Dash was fast asleep with the rest of the Bolt's in the bunks. She started to have weird dreams more like scarry.

"WAHHHHH!!!!! Ouch I fell of the bed again. Hmmm, that was loud, meh I'm sure its nothing." Fleetfoot muttered loudly and fell of the bed.
"Fleetfoot, I heard somepony scream and I can hear them breathe heavily, you get the lights." Spitfire woke up looking very tired and exhausted. Fleetfoot turned on the lights and saw that Rainbow Dash was awake crying in her bed breathing loudly.
"Hmmmm, is it time to wake up already?" Misty Fly said. "Ponies its 1am in the morning why are you up, I need some slee--Crash?? Are you crying over there? You ok"
"Huh Dashie wha?? Dashie are you ok?" Soarin flew over to Rainbow Dashes bed holding her around Soarin's body.

"Alright I'm gonna turn of the lights and get to bed. Spitfire you have to give us a 30min sleep in ok?" Fleetfoot turned the lights off.

Everypony went back into a nice deep sleep but Rainbow Dash nor Soarin were ready to sleep just yet.
"Soar, I feel really scared of what would happen to me now. What if I'm not going to be ok?" Rainbow Dash whispered.
"Don't worry about that Dashie, just move on into the future. Besides you can always find a rainbow just cuddle up into my arms and let me be your shield." "I love you too," Both Soarin and Rainbow Dash fell straight to sleep. Rainbow Dash didn't have any nightmares thanks to Soarin sleeping with her. She felt protected and warm, full of joy and laughter just like when she was a foal. "Morning you two, finally decided to wake up? Don't worry we all just got here," Spitfire was on the table with the rest of the Bolt's.

"Oh it was nothing, I just had a really really really really really bad and sad dream that made me do that, sorry." Rainbow Dash honestly told them.
"Ok than just making sure everythings ok, lucky for you I naturally fell of the bed too," Fleetfoot replied.
"And why do you fall of the bed?" Soarin asked his friend.
"What I'm sorry ok, it's because I'm used to big space, double bed not single?"
After breakfast in the mess hall, Spitfire wanted the Bolt's training. The training was different to the usually, it was fighting training. Learning how to fight really. She knew that some of the Bolt's already knew how to fight but she needed to go through this with them. Rainbow Dash seemed to be ok from what happened last night but still a little scared. She tried to fight back her emotions and won over them once more.
After 3 hours no 3 hours 59 minutes and 59 seconds of training, and now 4 hours of training, everypony was exhausted from training and wanted to hit the showers. Now it's 2pm Wednesday, not to bad for a day. After she hit the showers she could just have some 'alone time' but was starting to have second thoughts. Trying her best to forget about her father and the letter, it seemed like it just changed her whole life.
Night Dashes night (Ps.....LAST NIGHT SAME NIGHT AS NIGHTMARE)

For now, we will lock you up in highest security cells not even you can wiggle your way out of this." Twilight levitated him and held him tight up not letting go of him. He was busted for good. Next thing he'll probably be executed. "Rainbow, are you ok there? RAINBOW DASH????" Rainbow fainted with blood loosing up she was needed to go to the hospital immediately. "This is an order get her to the closest hospital now," The Bolt's took the Princesses orders and flew towards the nearest hospital. Cloudsville hospital.

"DASHIE, thank Celestia you are awake. Twilight told us that you were sent into Cloudsville hospital so we thought we might come and visit." Pinkie Pie said. She was with the Mane six, Starlight, Her brother and the Bolt's.
"Pinkie? Girls how are you on cloud?" Rainbow Dash asked.
"It was that spell that Twilight used for the best young flyers competition and no wings this time, aye?"
"I thought never to speak of that again," Rarity mumbled.
"How are you doing Crash?" Spitfire asked.
"I'm good, the last thing I remember that was he tied me up, rapped me, he nearly killed me, you guys came, Twi and my brother took him to jail once more and then I fainted," Rainbow Dash replied.
"Shoot, ya got rapped? I'm sorry for ya RD," AppleJack said.
"Well we haven't done any testing to make sure that your not pregnant yet, this could be serious. By the way, you got stitches up on you neck where he cut you and your recovery is about 6 months. I know the next shows coming up soon but you won't be able to perform, I'm sorry Rainbow." Twilight and everypony were worried about Rainbow why she gotten into this. It was her own father really that tried to do this to her. Rainbow Dash sobbed a bit but was able to cope of a bit. She went up to the doctor to make sure she wasn't pregnant and a few minutes later she came back to her hospital room.
"Guys I just checked and the results were plus. I'm having a foal, I am so sorry," Rainbow Dash sobbed away couldn't hold back any tears but everypony was there for her. "Please don't be mad at me please?"
"Crash were not mad at you, we just feel sorry for you that you had to go through this. It's not your fault," Fleetfoot replied while hugging her and every other pony.
"Dashie, shhhh stop crying I'm sure everythings going to be ok." Soarin replied. He kissed Rainbow Dash on the forehead to say everything will be ok. "Dashie, we can remove the baby from you so everything will be fine thats if you like?"
"I don't wanna ruin a filly or colt's life but I really wanna do stuff as well. It feels like I want to do both."
"Hmmm, you'll have to decide Rainbow Dash,this is very serious." Twilight informed Rainbow.
Many days have gone and Rainbow was able to get out of hospital. She needed somepony to take care of since of the stitches and the whole pregnancy thing. Soarin offered to take care of Rainbow Dash since he wanted her safe and sound. It was late at night, Rainbow Dash was sleeping in her bed by herself until she felt a little sore. Rainbow Dash decided got up from her bed and went outside for a little bit under the Rainbow water. Now I'm pregnant, I really have bad days don't I, THANKS A LOT DAD wait more like Night Dash the evil pony that no ruined my life. Soarin came outside a bit to think to but never expected Rainbow Dash.
"Dashie, whats wrong?" Soarin asked.
"It's, nothing Soar, I am completely normal." Rainbow Dash giving Soarin a fake smile.
"I know something's wrong, I know that face. Tell me whats wrong?" Soarin was scroking her mane for a bit to move a bit of her hair of Rainbows face.
"Ok, you got me. I don't know about this pregnancy thing and I'm not sure what to do......Like I want the foal and I don't. The thing is if I keep it I'm not even married and also I'll have to quit my job as a bolt and we've only been dating for at least a month." Rainbow Dash explained. "But what I'm saying is I'm confused. What should I do?"
"Sorry, this is not my best advice though but you still have a life to live. I do want you to have a foal but I also don't want you to suffer now." Soarin told Rainbow.
"So you're saying not to have the foal? You're right, what if I reger----" Soarin kissed her on the lips but within seconds she returned the kiss.
"You won't trust me,"
"Ok........"
They were outside with the Rainbow water showering down the manes and bodies. The slepet throughout the Rainbow water dripping down their bodies. Rainbow was cuddling up to Soarin and he had his wing over Rainbow Dash to protect her with anything. The next morning both of them awoken with the sunshine. Soarin decided to make breakfast for Rainbow Dash since she had a bit of a rough night last night. He dried himself up with Rainbows towel and started cooking some Pancakes. Rainbow Dash was in the kitchen with Soarin chatting for a bit what those two were going to do today. Rainbow remembered that she needed to feed Tank quickly.
After breakfast Rainbow and Soarin decided to go for a bit of a walk in the park for a little while since both of them had nothing else to do..... The day was passing by while Rainbow Dash was having fun with her coltfriend. Later on Soarin took Rainbow Dash over to the hospital to.........................

BONUS CHAPTER- Six months later
Rainbow Dash got the foal removed from her and she was able to go back to her normal daily life. Soarin stayed and took care of Rainbow Dash for 6 months and stayed in Ponyville with her. The two were still dating and their relationship became closer and closer everyday. Rainbow Dash told Twilight, the Bolt's and her friends that she removed her pregnancy. She would always be loyal to her friends no matter what, but this was different this was her life. She was in tears for a bit but everypony comforted her. Spitfire had to cancel their next show because Rainbow Dash got hurt. Months have passed by and Rainbow Dash was able to perform again and fly at her full speed. The routine the Bolt's and her did months ago they were able to do that now.
And as for her father, she had also to attend court and the four Princess Celestia, Luna, Cadance and Twilight had decided to execute Night Dash. He begged for mercy and tried to apologize but there was no turning back. He died that day and his only regret was he wish he could turn back time and change everything and actually be there for his daughter and son instead of leaving them without a father but there was no beliefs. He already taken risk to hurt other ponies especially mares and then he was executed by chopping of his head. Everypony watched him die and Rainbow Dash was half happy and sad. This showed what a pony he became today and what he did to deserve this. Rainbow went into a Flashback when he held her close to her father along with Blaze too.
Days, felt like months which turned into years which was two years later. This day Soarin decided to propose to Rainbow Dash into marriage. She accepted it and her friends and the Bolt's were happy. They had the biggest wedding which was held in Canterlot and a lot of preparations to sort out. Everypony grew up from what they used to be. Twilight, Pinkie Pie, AppleJack, Fluttershy got married and were about to have foals. In the Bolt's Fleetfoot got married to Silver Zoom and Spitfire with Wave Chill. Rainbow Dashes and Soarin's wedding was the biggest wedding like Shining Armor and Princess Cadance.
Life had gone on and so have everypony. Rainbow Dash raised a family of her own having two fillies and one colt. The Colt name was Ace Storm and the two fillies were named Autumn Breeze Dash and Prism Blaze Skies. Rainbow Dash was still and wonderbolt but commander Blaze retired and she took over her role. She was still going on map missions with her friends and always having fun with them. She had the life that anypony could be asking for. Her friend Starlight moved away to the Crystal Empire with Sunburst but stills visit Ponyville. She still was the same old same old Dash but a bit change with her mane. She had nieces and nephews form Rainbow Blazes family, and they would visit each other often. She had her loving husband Soarin along side with her to raise there kids and have a happy life together......
