Chapter 1

Chapter 1: An Untold Beginning

I woke up slowly, just like I always do on a Sunday. My alarm clock, like always, was playing an amazing piece of Dubstep that my friend Tombstone made. For some reason that I never found out, my mom uses it to LITERALLY clean the dishes. Anyway, I turned off the alarm, got out of bed, and did my usual routine. Next, I went to the living room, which had LOTS of bookshelves (I was a bit of a bookworm), and sat on the couch. I grabbed a book with my magic and was about to start reading when I heard Princess Twilight's magically amplified voice warn all of Manehattan that a Megaspell was coming and that everypony should get to Stable 111 IMMEDIATELY. When she was done, I went outside and flew up to her(I'm an alicorn).

"Twilight! What's going on?!" I asked, fear present in my voice. My Pip-Buck was showing that my heart rate had had increased.

"Happy Moon, now is not the time. Please, get to the Stable NOW!" she replied angrily, tears filling her eyes. She turned around and started to fly away, Spike sitting on her back, waving good-bye.

"Twilight! Please, come with me. It'll be safest that way." I said calmly.

"Fine." she said reluctantly. We both teleported to the entrance to the Stable. We started going down when suddenly, a Megaspell went off in the distance, sending a shockwave of radiation that made my Pip-Buck click wildly until the doors closed above us.

We went down for what felt like an eternity. "I just watched my home get destroyed." I muttered to myself as we slowed to a stop. The steel grating in front of us slid open.

" I know how you feel, Happy." Twilight said sadly. She put her hoof around me and pulled me into a hug to try to cheer me up. I decided that it was best so I embraced it. When we finally stopped hugging, Twilight said “We should probably get inside, now.”

“Agreed.” I said. We both trotted into the Stable and put on our blue and yellow Stable-tec suits, which had the number 111 in yellow on the back. Considering I was three years younger than Twilight, my suit was a few sizes smaller than hers, and I was about two inches shorter than her. Since we both helped design the Stable, we both knew it’s layout rather well, and were able to find our Cryopods almost immediately. When we were finally there, we each stepped up to our assigned pods. Twilight shared hers with Spike, who actually looked pretty adorable in his Stable-tec suit. My pod was right across from Twilight and Spike’s. When we were inside our pods, a speaker in side played a recording of me saying “The pods will decontaminate and depressurize you before freezing.”

Then, I heard Twilight’s voice say “Freezing in 5… 4… 3… 2… 1…” as we went into stasis.
