After three years in Ponyville, Twilight Sparkle has no doubt that she has settled into her home. However, things begin to change as Rainbow Dash receives exciting news and Princess Celestia asks Twilight Sparkle to return to Canterlot for reasons she does not explain. Twilight soon discovers a dark secret in Celestia's past, and must assist in a task that the princess cannot go about alone.
