Lunar Ravishing
Through the Dungeon
Load Full StoryNext ChapterA burst of light and a ‘pop’ of displaced air filled the empty room. As the flash died, Luna looked around, barely having time to reorient herself from the teleport before there was a knock on the door to her chambers. “Come in, Cadance,” she called as she made her way to the ponnequin that sat in the corner of the room, her magic starting to remove her regalia from her body, setting each piece in place on the inanimate pony shape as she heard the door open.
“Thank you, Princess, but the name is ‘Heartthrob’,” an unfamiliar voice spoke up from behind Luna, but with a playful tone the alicorn could not help but recognize.
Setting her last hoof-guard in its proper storage space she turned around. Standing just in front of the door was a pegasus mare with a pink coat and purple and yellow mane and tail. On her flank was a red heart with a jagged green line running across it, something Luna recognized as being from one of the monitoring devices in use in modern medical facilities, though its name and significance escaped her at the moment.
She nodded at the pegasus as she made her way towards a full-body mirror. “So you still intend to accompany me tonight?”
“Of course, this is a big step for you, Aunt Luna. Going back to the Borderlands after what happened last time.” Heartthrob moved over to stand next to the alicorn, reaching one wing up to rest it on her back, having to reach quite a bit higher than normal to get it positioned. “Just remember, you don’t have to do this if you don’t want to, you can back out anytime you start to feel overwhelmed,” the pegasus lifted her head, gently nuzzling Luna’s neck, ”and most importantly of all, I will be right beside you the whole time.”
Luna leaned against the smaller mare. Resentment briefly flashed through her mind at feeling like she was being foal sat, but it quickly gave way to feelings of appreciation for all Cadance had done for her over the last few months. “I know. But I wish to do this. I must needs face these challenges, as you and Starsong have said. But, We are glad to have thee besides Us, dear niece.” She turned her head, leaning down to nuzzle the pegasus standing next to her before gently pushing her away with one wing. “Now, if thou wilt excuse Us, We must make ourselves ready for tonight.”
Heartthrob stepped to the side, giving Luna room as her horn began to glow. A shadow passed over Luna’s body, making her reflection in the mirror look slightly distorted as it started to shift. Her wings disappeared, her legs shortened, her entire frame reduced in size. Her ethereal mane and tail froze, becoming regular, deep purple hair. Her coat colors faded, becoming a much lighter shade of blue. The black patch on her hips vanished from sight as her cutie mark changed, the crescent moon growing larger, more stylized looking and rotating, a small constellation of stars appearing inside the hollow of the crescent.
As her now shorter horn dimmed, ‘Fading Crescent’ turned back and forth, examining her new form in the mirror, making sure she had gotten it correct. “Adequate. Though it still feels odd to take on such a guise.”
“You get used to it,” Cadance replied. “Though admittedly, I might have an advantage there.” She fanned her wings out briefly before heading to the door.
Luna closed her eyes, letting out a small sigh. “It truly does not bother you that either of us should need to adjust to such things?”
She felt a hoof stroke down her neck a moment before a warm muzzle nuzzled against her cheek. “We’ve been over this already, Aunt Luna. This is for you, not anypony else. You need time to get used to the way things are now, to find your place again without worrying about how others might see you.”
Luna wrapped one leg around her niece and gave her a grateful hug. “I know. You have said such things often. Forgive me for bringing such thoughts to a night that should be about simply enjoying ourselves.” She let go, putting a smile on her muzzle as she headed for the door.
The pegasus fell in behind her. “No, never be upset or sorry for talking about how you feel.”
Luna paused at the door, looking back. “You are sure you wish to do this? I am grateful to have you accompany me, but I know you have much to do.”
Cadance laughed and shook her head. She held up both wings in front of her, balancing them like scales. “Let’s see, spend a night running and hiding in terror as I’m stalked, chased, and ultimately caught, then get tossed to the ground, pinned, and have every orifice violated by horny stallions looking to have their way with me.” Her left wing slipped up higher and she looked at it in consideration for a moment before turning to her right one. “Or spend another night having ponies drone at me over every little detail about a wedding that isn’t taking place for over a month still.”
Both wings reached a balancing point as she looked between them. “I’m not sure how I could choose.” Chuckling, her left wing shot up into the air as the right one dropped. “Yeah, such a hard choice. Lemon Hearts is doing a fine job getting things organized and everypony already knows what they are doing. They don’t really need my input at this point and I’d rather not listen to a bunch of mares giggle and gush about how great it’s going to be for hours on end.”
Luna nodded. She knew little of current wedding customs, but from what she had overheard from the staff involved in planning Cadance’s it did seem like a large amount of pointlessness was involved. “Very well then, let our night of joyous debauchery begin!” She gripped the latch in her magic and threw the door open. Lifting a hoof high in celebration, Fading Crescent burst through the open doorway into a completely empty hallway. She immediately blushed and dropped her hoof, giving a nervous little cough as she looked back at the pegasus following her.
Heartthrob was kind enough not to say anything as she took the lead, the unicorn following behind her. Luna had been offered a suite in the highest levels of the Tower, the ones reserved for council members and dignitaries, but had preferred to take a more mundane room for her personal quarters at the Society. She was even happier with that decision since her second return as it made it easier for Fading Crescent to come and go without arousing suspicion.
As they waited at the end of the hall for the elevator, Luna looked over her companion in greater detail. Double-checking to ensure that there was nopony around to overhear, she broached a question that had been on her mind since she’d first seen Heartthrob. “Doesn’t Heartthrob look quite a bit like Princess Cadance? Were it not for your size and the lack of a horn I would be hard pressed to tell the two apart. Moreso given the padlock with Captain Shining Armor’s mark upon it.” She tapped her horn on silver lock dangling from the black, silver studded, orange and gold banded collar encircling Cadance’s neck.
Cadance looked back, giving her aunt a knowing, slightly smug grin. “Oh, she does. Officially I am Princess Cadance’s hoofmaiden outside the Society, and her and her fiance's personal slave inside, hence the padlock. As to her looks, there are enough cases of ponies looking like celebrities that there is even a small business around impersonators. So it’s not seen as too suspicious. Most just assume that the two took me in specifically for the similarity.” As she spoke the elevator ‘dinged’, the door sliding open to allow the two to step in, Luna quickly pressing the button for the atrium’s middle level.
“In fact,” Cadance continued once the doors had closed and the elevator began moving, “last year Heartthrob was approached by a rather cute pair of stallions that were trying to give their friend a great bachelor party, asking if I’d play ‘The Princess of Love’ and show him a good time.”
Luna looked back as her niece stopped talking, one hoof eagerly tapping on the floor as she waited for her to continue. Cadance had turned her head, seeming extremely interested in examining one of her wings, Luna noticing the faint hint of a grin touching what little of Cadance’s muzzle she could see. Finally Luna spoke up herself. “And? Didst thou?”
Cadance’s silvery laughter filled the small space as she gave her aunt a mischievous look that Luna was sure she had learned from Celestia. “Unfortunately, ‘Heartthrob’ ended up being far too busy with her duties to make it that night. Luckily for them, Princess Cadance decided to take her place as an apology for keeping their chosen guest of honor from them.”
Luna felt her jaw drop, blinking quite a few times before she managed to recover. “Thou didst not!”
Cadance's laughter only grew more intense and uncontrolled, the mare leaning on the side of the elevator for support. “Oh I most certainly did. Several... ha... times that night in fact.” She brought a hoof to her mouth, trying to get her laughter under control. “Heh… you should see your face... Hehe... right now!”
Luna looked away, giving the other pony a few moments to get herself under control. “This does not concern you? It-it is fine that ponies would seek-” Her words were cut off as the elevator ‘dinged’ again, the door opening up to reveal a small group of ponies waiting to enter. The two disguised alicorns stepped out, allowing them entrance. Luna approached the railing in front of them, rearing up and place her forehooves on the edge to allow her smaller form a clear view over it.
She looked down at the main atrium, it was a massive, open space, rising up above them another level still before the walls curved up into a domed ceiling, rounded stained glass skylights set into the curves. The room was grand, without being opulent. Gold and silver were used often, but only in ways that accented the curves and flow of the space, not standing out like the gaudy shows of wealth so many ‘high class’ ponies felt the need to display. Banners displaying the Clocktower logo hung between pillars, a massive mosaic of the Tower filling the far wall.
The lower floor of the atrium was dominated by the large fountain surrounded by a small indoor garden of bright flowers and cunningly sculpted shrubbery. Above it all rose the statue of Equestria’s founders, in poses nopony outside of this place would believe.
Despite its size, the atrium was filled with ponies and other beings going about their business. Centuries ago such a gathering would have been seen only during the largest of assemblies of Society members. Yet now, it was the barest fraction of the ponies who made this place a part of their lives. Even taking into account how much Equestria itself had grown in her absence – the assembled ponies were nothing compared to the veritable sea of bodies flooding the streets she had witnessed during her tour of Manehattan – it was staggering to her just how large the once shunned, distrusted and looked-down-upon group had become. A sense of pride welled up in Luna at just how many ponies, griffons, and others were now members of the once small Society she had known.
She felt Cadance moving to join her at the railing, pressing close, one wing brushing along Luna’s side. “It’s rather impressive, isn’t it?”
“Indeed. Long ago, the Society was but a small fraction of just those in this single Tower. Now? Now this is but one of many sites dedicated to the ideals of devotion and the safe exploration of one’s desires. It is gratifying to see those ideals become so widely accepted.” Everywhere she looked, ponies were going about their evening, interacting, enjoying themselves. More and more came through the main gate as others filtered out to head to the dungeons or wherever else they wished to spend this night. “It is hard to believe as I look at this that all these ponies needs must hide in shadows and secrecy. That so many can still be made to hide away who they are.” She turned away from the throng below, her voice dropping as she climbed down off the railing. “All because of one pony’s mistakes.”
She felt Cadance’s wing wrap around her almost instantly, the pegasus nuzzling her neck, speaking quietly, just loud enough for Luna to hear without carrying to the ponies nearby. “That is not the reason, not anymore. Yes, it was that pony’s mistake that first drove them into hiding, but it is that hiding that allowed it to flourish, by giving everyone a safe, secure, hidden place to truly be themselves without any fear of what others may think.”
Luna nodded, she had heard this speech before, she could not deny that she saw the logic to it, yet never did it help her feel any better about her past mistakes. Though, it was still a comforting thought that perhaps there was some good to come of even her greatest failure.
Cadance continued, starting to guide her companion towards the cavernous entrance to the dungeons. “I do not believe for a moment that revealing the Society to the public at large would go as badly as most claim. That ponies would be so unaccepting as they think. There would be some issues, some who take it badly to be sure.”
Luna interrupted her with a snort. “Such as the fanatics who first drove it into hiding to begin with, and yet are still allowed to openly go about proclaiming others to be unworthy and preaching their hate and small minded intolerance.”
Cadance’s face grew sterner for a moment, a quick flash of irritation, if not outright anger, crossing it. “Yes, them. It’s not like it would matter much, they are nothing but a small, yet very loud group of ponies that cannot move out of the past and would find something to hate and scream about no matter what.” She let out a small, satisfied chuckle. “Remind me to tell you about the time one of them publicly confronted Princess Cadance for her ‘immorality’ and ‘crimes against the very fabric of Equestrian society itself’ for her audacity in debasing herself by coupling with a common stallion in defiance of the natural order and violating the holy sanctity of a ruling matriarch’s body’ or some such nonsense.”
“They did not!” Luna froze, staring at the pink mare besides her in shock.
“Oh yes,” Cadance replied with a grin.
“Oh Oh! I heard about that!” A passing stallion spoke up, pausing as he was about to enter the main passage down to the caverns. “Didn’t they find the guy trying to break into a pound?”
“I heard he was running around the park trying to chase down ponies’ dogs, trying to give them his own ‘bone’ to play with,” his companion corrected him.
“Wait, what are you talking about?” More ponies began to drift towards them, being attracted by the conversation.
“The Sol Invictus idiot that tried to publicly shame Princess Cadance for daring to actually have sex with her own fiance because of their screwed up views on what a Princess should be,” the stallion replied, garnering murmurs of agreement and several knowing nods from the gathering crowd.
Cadance nudged Luna, jerking her head for the two to slip away while everypony was distracted. Luna nodded, though her ears stayed focused on the conversation behind them.
“Still can’t believe she would force a pony to do something like that, even if they did deserve it.”
“She wouldn’t, not Cadance. Besides, that’s not her powers work, is it? Doesn’t there need to be something already there for her to bring to the surface?”
As they rounded the curve of the ramp the ponies voices faded, leaving the two alone for a few moments. “Is this true? Did y-the Princess do that?”
Cadance gave Luna a small, slightly ashamed looking grin and nodded. “Kind of…” She gave the elder princess a slightly guilty look, while Luna kept her face impassive. “What? He insulted Shining Armor and it’s not her fault he was just using his fanaticism to try and hide from his own love of bestiality. She just helped him better understand himself.” She quickly held up a hoof. “And before you say anything else, I am quite certain she already got a rather thorough lecture from her Aunt Celestia on the matter.”
Luna simply grinned at the younger mare and shook her head. “Neigh, I would not fault thee for that. Tis no more than their kind deserve and far more lenient than others might have been.”
Cadance giggled slightly before shaking her head. “We really shouldn’t think that way about them, as satisfying as it might be.”
Luna sighed as they emerged from the tunnel into the main dungeon access, three large, cavernous doorways leading out of the rough cavern, each framed by stone arches. One had the form of an archaic castle rampart, another was shaped like a collar, and the third a waiting dungeon gate, the iron portcullis drawn up into the top of the passage, just the tips of it hanging down. Both mares heading for the collar-shaped passage and the submissive locker room beyond.
As they turned past the collaring chambers and into the locker room Luna broke the silence. “You are likely correct. Still, how does this not make the Society revealing itself something to be avoided given such things?”
“Because they are just the tiniest, most extreme faction of ponies. There are far more already in or who would support the Society than I think anypony realizes.”
“So why stay hidden then?”
“Because of everypony here. Remember what I said up top? It was hiding away, becoming a secret that allowed the Society to grow so much. It gave ponies a place they felt safe showing this side of themselves, knowing it was hidden, secret. Even if there would be universal acceptance, which even I’m not deludedly optimistic enough to believe, simply knowing that nothing one does here will be known, that this is a safe place to explore and be who they wish? It’s worth remaining ‘in the shadows’ as you call it for that.” Cadance gave her companion a wink as the two approached the banks of lockers, both slotting their PipSubs into place and giving the arcane interface a moment to call up their personal storage units. “Besides, being part of a secret society devoted to kinky sex is kind of fun in its own right.”
Luna couldn’t help but chuckle at that, admitting to herself Cadance had some good points. Still, part of her couldn't fully accept it was that simple. She put on her gear in silence until she gave her safety bell a single test ring. Nodding as the clear sound echoed through the room, she shut her locker and reclaimed her badge.
She waited till Cadance had finished her own preparations, clearly struggling a bit to get things in place without magic but accomplishing it well enough. As they departed the locker rooms, Luna said quietly, “You did not answer my earlier question.”
Cadance looked up and cocked her head. “Which one?”
“The one in the elevator. Whether you believe it is a not a problem that certain ponies should feel the need to disguise who they are, even here.”
“Because I know you’ve already gotten the answer. Mine is the same as Starsong’s was when you asked her this. No, I do not see a problem with it, because you are not hiding who you are, you are simply putting on a mask that allows you to more comfortably be who you really wish to be. No different than so many others here, except for being a bit more extensive.” She paused at the access cavern, looking between the two ways down to the dungeons. “Want to stop by the teahouse for a bit? Or just head right to the action?” Her tone held a note of questioning that made this seem like she was asking far more than what it seemed.
Luna nodded towards the path the led directly to the upper dungeons. “Yes, yes, We have learned Our lesson Mi-my friend. But is it one that applies here? We already know where we are going and what we wish to do. Now cease trying to change the subject.”
“Fine,” Cadance snorted as she turned, heading for the smaller doorway opposite the grand gate that was a quicker passage down to the dungeons. “I understand it’s annoying and frustrating, but really all it would take is time for ponies to get used to it. The ones that would want to use a princess to live out a fantasy can already do that anytime they want after all. So it's just a matter of being used to seeing one of them as an active member of the Society. Princess Cadance hasn’t had much issue with that in years.”
“What.” Luna’s reply was flat, cold, not a question in any way. “Explain.”
Cadance turned back, her expression puzzled. “You mean the able to live out their fantasies bit? We do have an entire hive of changelings here that are eager to help satisfy ponies’ fantasies. I understand that the princesses are one of the most common requests they get.”
Luna stumbled, her ears pinned back and eyes wide as she tried to process the revelation. “You mean, even now, somewhere here a stallion may be rutting the form of…” She trailed off, pausing to lean against a wall for support.
“You didn’t know? I thought you knew. It’s not like it’s a secret or anything. Besides, it’s a perfectly normal, and rather healthy way for ponies to express these desires.” She helped the unicorn steady herself on her hooves, pressing close as the two walked out into the main chamber of the lower dungeons.
They paused at the top of the final ramp, looking over over the city sized cavern. Buildings of every kind stretched out to the distant wall, where towering above everything stood a massive copy of the Clocktower that gave the Society its name. Hovering in the air over the center of the cavern, bathing everything in a purplish, flickering light, was the heart of the Society. The burning Fires of Devotion that had long ago saved the world from an eternal winter, and been tended ever since by those ponies willing to surrender themselves to another in the greatest show of devotion possible.
Luna reached out with her magic to give the flame the gentlest touch, feeling its power resonating in her for a moment, calming her, reminding her of just what this place meant, both to herself, and to Equestria. Neigh, to the world. It reminded her of the vaster perspective of things that one must occasionally take, beyond their own insular concerns. She held the link a few more seconds, basking in the warm glow of the Fires before severing the connection.
“I understand. This is simply not something I had considered, though it does make sense. I merely need some time to grow accustomed to this information.” She had already gotten over the initial shock, and the more she thought about it the more she saw both the appeal of doing so, and the benefits being able to could hold. She gave Cadance a coy, or at least her best attempt at coy, look. “Though, knowing that my form is so desirable is a touch flattering.”
“Isn’t it?” Cadance replied with a grin. “Plus kind of sexy to think about.” She looked around quickly, making sure nopony was close enough to hear before moving her head closer to Luna and speaking low enough not to let her voice carry. “I’ve been thinking about arranging for one of the better Cadance impersonators to help me give Shiny a special gift before the wedding.” She closed her eyes, letting out a long, lusty moan. Luna spying the mare’s tail starting to flag out of the corner of her eye. “That would be amazingly hot, getting to watch my special somepony rut a mare that looks just like me!”
Luna sniffed as the scent of her companion’s arousal at the thought reached her. She couldn’t help but smile at the younger mare’s enthusiasm for the idea. “If that is what you wish, I cannot say I do not see the appeal. From my admittedly scant understanding of how stallions behave these days, I am sure he would love the idea.”
Cadance nodded, Luna allowing her be lost in her fantasies for a bit longer while guiding her towards their destination.
Cadance snapped out of her reverie as they approached their destination. “So, did you want to do the whole experience and take a walk through Rape Crescent, or just slip in one of the other entrances?”
“What is the ‘whole experience’? We were not exactly paying close attention to those details-” She paused, her eyes sweeping over the path leading towards Rape Crescent, remembering the state she had been in that night, taking a moment to try and force those memories back with only partial success before continuing. “Nevermind, which would you suggest?”
“I’d recommend going through the whole thing at least once to really get into things and understand what is going on in the zone better. But for tonight, let’s just head in one of the other entrances and keep it simple. Not really here to get caught up in the whole story going on.”
Luna nodded her agreement. She barely listened as Cadance continued on, explaining details about the area they were headed towards. While she had found the ways ponies had managed to craft such elaborate stories around the various zones – the way they created so much variety in fantasy for their time here – incredibly enticing and she wanted to experience every facet of it. That said, such was not her goal for tonight.
Tonight she needed to prove to herself she was fully and truly ready to give herself over to the Society. To surrender herself utterly to the whims and desires of others. To allow her body to be used for their pleasure alone. The thought of doing so, of what the stallions that caught them once they entered The Borderlands might do, brought a small, dull heat to her nethers as she felt her tail starting to lift. She could not deny at all that the prospect excited her, could not deny how much the idea of being claimed, used, of having her body violated over and over, aroused her. Being made so helpless, yet of her own free will, always knowing that beneath the mask and the actions lay care for her and respect for her choice to allow this. Her train of thought turned aside from that as images of three masked ponies stalking towards her arose from a dark corner of her memories that she tried her best to bury. Their voices dripping with disdain, mocking her, taunting her in ways that showed clear their lack of any respect, any care. She closed her eyes tight, forcing the memory away, pushing it back down as she amended her previous thought to apply only to whichever Doms they encountered that were worthy of the title ‘master’.
She looked around, spotting masked and collared ponies everywhere. All of them here for the same purpose, to allow that part of themselves they kept hidden from those outside these walls out. To don a mask of one form or another and so find the freedom to be who they wished.
The crowded throng of ponies eager to begin their nightly fun thinned out as more and more made their way towards whichever location within these dungeons they wished to enjoy themselves at, yet that still left a rather sizeable amount. And she was nothing more than one of these ponies. She was not special, not unique, she was among them as an equal, willingly surrendering herself to those who wished to use her.
Would so many ponies have opened themselves up to this if they then had to go back to their lives the next day, wondering what those around them thought, if they knew in what ways they enjoyed themselves? She tried to spread her wings, feeling only the phantom sensation of muscles she no longer possessed attempting to comply. For the first time since she had begun assuming this form she found that sensation rather comforting.
Any further musing was cut off as she felt the elbow joint of a wing dig into her ribs. “... Crescent! Equestria to Fading Crescent!” Luna blinked, shaking her head as she turned and gave her companion a small, sheepish smile. “Our apologies, We were lost in thought.”
Cadance gave her a concerned look, the wing that had just gotten her attention spreading out to run gently down the unicorn’s back. “Anything you want to talk about? If you are having second thoughts…”
Luna shook her head again, more forcefully this time, not merely clearing her thoughts, while stomping one hoof lightly on the ground. “Neigh, not second thoughts. At least, not about what we are to do. This is something I do wish to do, that I need to know I can do.”
The wing curled around her barrel in a quick hug as her other one stretched out to point in front of the two mares. “Alright, ‘cause we’re here.”
Before them rose a high wall, at least three lengths tall. Above it, Luna could see the roof of the cavern curving downward, stopping a length or two above the wall. A doorway stood waiting at the end of the path they were on, lacking any gate, or door, or barrier of any kind, serving only as a demarcation of the play area. Large red and orange signs on either side of the passage alerting anypony approaching they were about to enter an area where the normal rules of conduct in the Society were altered. She felt Cadance nuzzle her neck, the pegasus pressing close to her side.
Luna leaned back against her companion, using her magic to gently stroke the other mare’s mane. “I was thinking on what you said earlier, about the Society having benefited from becoming hidden, I believe I understand your point.” She looked back over herself. “Sometimes, it is only when we do not have to worry what others may think we can truly be ourselves. I wish to be myself tonight, To not fear what others may think of my choices, of my actions. I will not deny being nervous about this as well as excited.” She pulled away from Cadance, not far, merely enough to make clear she was ready to move on. “Thank you for helping me reach this point, and for coming along tonight.”
Cadance stepped back as well, nodding in acceptance of what was said. “You are quite welcome. You’ve come so far so quickly, I am very proud of you. Just remember, I will be right with you the whole time. You don’t need to push yourself any further than you want to. If things get to be too much, we can stop. But other then that, simply enjoy yourself.” Cadance trotted on ahead, looking back at Luna and motioning for her to follow.
The unicorn quickly did so, her head held high,an excited grin on her face. As they passed the stone entryway, her PipSub vibrated, letting out a quick, shrill tone that would be impossible to ignore. At the same moment a illusory screen topped with several different warning symbols appeared in front of her eyes. The first time she had entered this place she had simply brushed it aside, confident she needed no help or guidance to know what she was doing. She had paid for that arrogance. This time she paused, making sure to read the warning presented, despite knowing what they would say. This was not a place she wished to rush herself. Just to be sure, she quickly highlighted the ‘more details’ option on her screen with her gaze, a small effort of will selecting it, changing the brief, bullet pointed list to a more extensive explanation.

Once Luna had read through the warning she stepped the rest of the way through the arch to where Cadance waited patiently, the illusionary display flickering away once Luna had moved a few steps from the entrance. The anticipation of those steps, knowing what they meant, knowing that she could now at any moment be attacked, taken, used, made her struggle not to prance as the two began to head down the empty street. Her excitement compelled her to say something about this affair. Grinning, she looked at an equally excited Cadance. “And now the fun begins.”
“Oh yes,” her companion replied with a voice full of lusty promise.
