How in equestria did this happen and why was it happening!? What did we do to deserve this!? The rest of the crusaders and I definitely had no idea!
It was another normal day in the town of Ponyville, my home! Every-pony is just doing their usual things and daily routines. For me, it was hanging out with my 2 best friends; Apple Bloom and Scootaloo as we try to work together to earn our cutiemarks. That is why we called ourselves the Cutiemark Crusaders. Things were going well; that is until there was a huge explosion blast where the Library Tree used to be! OMG, Twilight was in there, and most possibly Spike too; and now just like that, there… gone?! But what made it worse was that any pony that was nearby the tree was propelled into air by the explosion’s force! They met their end upon landing on the ground with huge thuds! Every-Pony started to scream in horror at the sight of dead bodies around them; then they started to run for their lives hoping that they would not meet a similar fate. Eventually, some of them started to try and escape the town, but they didn’t get far. Me and the girls witnessed them suddenly getting impaled right where they presently stood by wooden stakes that came ricocheting from the air. They let out blood- curdling screams as their bodies became limp and then totally still as blood started flowing out of their now dead corpses. No pony dared to move near outside of Ponyville after that; but they all had a feeling that they would be all dead too, eventually!
Everything was going so fast, and none of us could figure out what was going on.
“Apple Bloom, Scootaloo,” I said out of pure fright as we huddled close together, “what the hay is going on? I don’t wanna die!”
“Some-pony is going to pay for this,” scoffed Scootaloo with tears in her eyes.
“Every-pony is gettin’ slaughtered left and right,” mentioned Apple Bloom, “Why is this happenin’?!”
Suddenly at the top of the library tree’s remains appeared a menacing dark creature. He was standing on two limbs and was pretty tall for any medium-sized creature we’ve ever seen. He appeared to not have hooves, claws, paws or wings. His bottom limbs sorta looked like hooves but hey looked completely different; and his front limbs that it waves around resembled claws, but it had more mini limbs coming from it! It even had a patch of fur on the top of its head and under its chin! But what was more frightening than any of that were the clothes it wore; a pair of pants that had little ripped holes and skulls around them, a pair of giant iron boots, and a black shirt with a fiery red background with huge text that said, ‘DEATH TO PONIES!!!’
It was finally clear, whatever this thing was… was out to kill us all; and something tells me that all the weapons and arsenal located on its back was going to do the job! When every-pony became silent, the creature finally spoke in its dark and menacing voice.
“Attention all ponies of Ponyville, you’re days of tea parties, rainbow lights, and your weird girly fashion sense is over! As of this day, the era of ponies is finally over!”
They all started to shout amongst themselves; to frighten to figure out what this creature was saying.
“What the hell are you going on about,” shouted a random male pony, “Is that why you’re suddenly killing us all for some reason?! We’re not as girly as you think, and we’re not even all girls! So what’s your f@#%ing deal anyway?! You think you can walk in here and start killing every-pony just because you think that…”
But before he could finish, the creature launched a circular saw blade that zipped through the crowd and sliced right through the complaining pony. His eyes became wide as his life just flashed before him. His last words were, “D-d-damn… it…” before his body slumped down onto the ground in two halves; showcasing his internal organs and his warm flowing blood. Every-pony screamed at the sight while Apple Bloom, Scootaloo and I held close to each other and started crying.
“I come from a world were beings like mine are heavily affected by you sorry creatures, and I can’t stand it!”
So that’s it, it’s not even from this world, and what did he mean by affected by us sorry creatures?
“When ponies are extinct, my kind will no longer be able fondle over your equestrian ways; and if they don’t like it, tough!”
He suddenly held up a raggedy necklace that sported a couple of horns shaped trinkets. One was white, and the other one was dark violet. No, wait… those aren’t what I think they are, are they?!
“Behold the now broken horns of your so called Princesses of Equestria! They were the first to fall along with their Canterlot kingdom, and now your pathetic town is next, following the rest of this world!”
We couldn’t believe it, Equestria’s strongest rulers defeated by a single menacing creature who hates ponies! There was possibly no hope for us now; I mean what can we do except run for our little pony lives?!
He whipped out a couple of weapons on his back and said with a menacing grin on his face, “Say your prayers, Ponies; they will be your very last living words!”
Panic and fear resumed about Ponyville as the creature jumped down and started to tear through every-pony that was in his path. Luckily for us, it didn’t go for the younger ones right away so we were able to run and hide somewhere that it might not see us. Unfortunately, the creature seemed to really loathe Diamond Tiara and Silver Spoon as it spotted them nearby.
“Run Silver Spoon, Run,” shouted Diamond Tiara, “He’s coming at us!” But the creature was too fast; he easily chased them down and quickly held onto their tails with its iron boots! All they could do was scream and hopelessly try to wiggle free as the creature took out a sword and decapitated both of them with one swift swing across the ground below it!
“Die like the sorry little filly bitches you are,” it spouted out as Tira’s and Spoon’s heads rolled out in front of their headless bodies that were shooting out streams of blood; he smiled out of satisfaction.
I know we all didn’t really like those two, but even they didn’t deserve something like that! We continued to run and evade the attacks of that creature, but it didn’t exactly help that we kept hearing the dreadful screams of the other ponies that were falling victim to the creature’s slaughtering tools. Some basically got shot multiple times, some had their bodies impaled by more stakes and by arrows, some were burned alive by massive flames from a flamethrower and if the creature felt like it, it caught some of them off guard and had their bodies gruesomely sliced open by a giant roaring chainsaw! Even some Pegasus’ from Cloudsdale tried to swoop in and stop it, but it failed as they were easily taken down fatally by homing missiles. The creature definitely had many creative ways to slaughter his targets.
It was such an awful sight; the more ponies that the creature killed, the more blood-soaked the ruined town became. We were hoping that all three of us were having the same horrible nightmare; but the nightmare couldn’t be more real. Our town was being destroyed, and we were all being hunted down and killed by a monster! Its slaughtering rampage eventually brought himself to the Carousel Boutique, where my sister, Rarity, and many other unicorn ponies were waiting for it.
Halt right where you are you insufferable, murderering monster,” my sister shouted.
The creature just smiled very eerie like, “Ah, if it isn’t the elegant yet pompous one of the main 6, Rarity. They all say that you are the wielder of the element of generosity; yeah right! More like the element of being a bitch!”
Rarity heart was filled with vengeance for her friends, “You have killed Twilight, as well my little Spikey-Whikey. You’re out here taking lives because of a little culture; barbaric, and totally inexcusable! As of right now, your rampage stops here!”
Wow, I’ve never seen my sister act like this. It was definitely… different.
“Try all you want little prissy ponies, I have enough hatred fuel to take on all of you! Real men rules and Bronies drool!”
Huh? What the hay did he just say… bronies?
“Unicorns, attatck! For Twilight, and all of our fallen friends!”
My friends and I stood back in some background bushes behind the scene as we watched my sister and the remaining unicorns charge towards the creature with full force. However… the creature didn’t even falter as he just stood there with a menacing look on his face… a face of murder.
A huge mid-battle took place in front of us as my sister and the remaining unicorns of Ponyville took on the mysterious monster; but unfortunately, after the battle was done, the aftermath showed the unicorn ponies slaughtered and slowly dying on the ground by excessive bleeding, and my sister… impaled through her stomach by a sharp metal rod. She was still alive, but barely while she was trying to pull herself off the metal rod. She cried in pain as she was trying to pull away, but the amount of blood that she already loss left her too weak to do anything more but hold onto the rod as she lightly leaned on it. The monster itself, it had some scratches but hardly. He was just too strong!
“I d-d-don’t understand,” Rarity said, “We had you completely outnumbered. How is this possib-ble?”
“Don’t you get it ya furry whore, nothing will stop me from eradicating the entire pony race! Not even you unicorns and your magic are strong enough to stop me!”
I just couldn’t take seeing my sister like this anymore, I burst forth to try and save her! Unfortunately, my two friends halted me just in time.
“Sweetie Belle, don’t do it,” said Apple Bloom, “He’s expecting you to do that!”
“I don’t care! I have to try and save her; she’s my sister!”
“It won’t matter,” said Scootaloo, “If you go out there he’ll just end up killing both of you! We have to escape now! Rarity would want you to be safe!”
I couldn’t let my sister die like this, but my friends were right; Rarity would want me to continue on and live. My sorrowful eyes filled with tears as we just ran away as fast as we could away from the scene; but what we didn’t know was that the creature knew we were there behind them the whole time, he just chose not to come after us right now.
“Well, well, it looks like your sister and her friends are running away like cowards.” It chuckled and then said sarcastically, “What kind of pony would leave their own sister to miserably die like this?”
A slight smile came onto Rarity’s face knowing that her little sister was safe for now, “That’s a relief, at least my little Sweetie Belle is safe and probably fleeing away now. At least… she’s still alive…”
The creature then took the metal rod with Rarity still impaled on it and slammed it into ground; thus pinning her to down with no escape.
He looked at her with a face of murder while grinning; and Rarity was grunting in intense pain while looking upwards; afraid in knowing what was coming next.
“Well no problem, I’ll find your sister and her friends soon enough and then your death will all be in vain.”
Rarity saw what resembled a whirling chainsaw blade in his hand, and the last thing she heard was the sound of the blade coming down and ripping through her body’s flesh. I could hear the sounds and her screams from within earshot.
Before long, Ponyville was in complete ruins, and I think my friends and I were the only residents left alive. We were hiding in our clubhouse preparing to escape and hopefully with our lives!
“All right Crusaders,” shouted Scootaloo, “the end may be upon us. We need to get hay out of here before that creature finds us!”
Unfortunately, all I could do was sit in the corner and sob over the loss of my sister, as well as every-pony else.
“Sweetie Belle, pull yourself together,” Scootaloo shouted, “Your sister is dead; don’t let it be in vain; as well as every-pony elses!”
Wow, did she just read my mind?
“Scootaloo is right,” said Apple Bloom sounding brave, “There’s nothing we can do now but try and escape ourselves! My family is probably dead too;” Her eyes filled a little with tears, “but… I-I-I won’t let it be for nothing! So get off your sorry flank and let’s get out of here while we still can!”
She was right, our home and friends may have been gone, but we still had each other. We could still live on together. I got up and was ready to carry on!
“That’s the spirit! Now come on you two, this clubhouse won’t hide us forever. We need to sneak out as quietly as we can so we won’t be…”
Unfortunately, our crusader escape plan was all ruined when a long wooden spear crashed through the wall behind Scootaloo, and got rammed all the way through our Pegasus friend; butthole first and out the mouth! She made a quiet squeak sound as she just stood there with wide frighten eyes filled with tears while the spear was still stuck inside her body.
Apple Bloom and I cried out for our friend with terrified tears in both of our eyes, “SCOOTALOOOOOO!!!”
Scootaloo’s vision and strength started to fade out fast as blood was flowing out of both ends of her impaled body; it was a horrible and sickening sight. She made a couple of gagging noises before her body suddenly slumped down on the ground completely still and lifeless; she was now dead.
Apple Bloom and I held each other in each other’s embrace while crying upon the scene before us. “Oh Scootaloo,” Apple Bloom cried out, “not you too; why did you have to die too!?”
A giant limb crash through our wall and grabbed the spear and pulled it back; with Scootaloo still on it. We both gasped out of fright when we heard the voice of the horrible creature.
“Come on out, my little fillies. I just want to play a little game of freeze tag. Your friend here is already frozen… forever; and now it’s your turn.”
“What are we going to do now,” I asked Apple Bloom.
“I’ll tell ya what we’re goin’ to do…” She took one of our school books that was in the clubhouse and tossed it through a window; making an escape route.
“RUN!!!!!”
We both jumped out the broken window in the back way and immediately ran off into woods behind the house as fast as we could. The creature jumped up and landed right behind the clubhouse as it just looked ahead where we ran off too. It just chuckled as it just held up Scootaloo’s corpse, which was still on the spear, up to it and talked to her as if she was still alive.
“Oh, my little filly, it seems that your two remaining friends think that they can out run me and escape from my wrath. Well, they just made a big mistake.”
It slung the spear behind it, causing Scootaloo’s dead body to be flinged off and crashed onto the ground as additional blood splattered out upon impact. The creature stowed away the spear on its back, and then took a giant leap forward into the direction that Apple Bloom and I went; all while smiling and panting with anticipation.
Apple Bloom and I didn’t know where we were going, but all that mattered was trying to get as far away from that monstrous creature as we could! We kept running, and running, and running; then Apple Bloom asked me, “See anything Sweetie Belle?!”
I looked over behind me while we continued to run, “No, I don’t see anything; I think we lost it!”
“Good! Just remember not to let your guard down; whatever you do, just keep running!”
She didn’t have to tell me twice, we kept running like there was no tomorrow. But as we continued on, we heard a little rustling sound above us.
“Wait, did you hear that, Apple Bloom,” I asked.
“I’m not sure, what is it?!”
Suddenly in a flash and without warning, the very creature that we were running away from came bursting forth from above and slamming into the very spot where he knew we would step into next. We both screamed out of being scared so suddenly.
“AAAAAAAAAAHHHHHHHHHHHHH!!!!”
I found myself being flung a little farther ahead from where we were and tumbled across the ground. When I looked up I saw another horrible sight; the only best friend I had left was pinned down on the ground by one the creature’s front limbs around her neck. She was struggling; trying to push away from the creature’s grip, but it proved to be meaningless. The creature looked into Applebloom’s fear-driven eyes while panting heavily with sweat of excitement rolling down its face.
“You know, I was just going to give you two a nice quick, and less painful death like I did to your Pegasus friend; but you two made a grave mistake trying to run away from me.”
The creature then reached behind its back and pulled out a motorized circular hand saw; similar to what it used to kill my sister, and it held it over my earth filly friend’s body. Apple Bloom’s eyes grew wide upon seeing the dangerous tool hanging over her knowing what it was capable of; after all her family had some similar tools back at what used to be her farm home. She tried to scream, but nothing came out except strained chokes.
“So now, I’m going to kill you both nice and slowly. I want you to feel every ounce of pain you’ll be receiving.”
I found the courage to get up and started to charge towards the creature, “NO!!! You leave my friend alone!”
All the creature did was look in my direction while chuckling, “Heh… how foolish.”
It lunged out one of its back limbs and kicked me right in the face and sent me flying in the air again. I slammed against a tree so hard that I coughed up a little blood upon impact. I fell on the ground again, but I knew I wouldn’t be able to get up again in time to save Apple Bloom. It looked back down at her and flashed a menacing grin, “I want to hear you scream.”
With the push of a button, the saw blade roared to life! Apple Bloom tried to struggle free once again but there was nothing she could do to stop the incoming torture! The creature held the tool down and then started to slowly push the whirling blade into her body; starting at the location of her private area between her bottom hooves and legs and was slowly working upwards; and I mean very slowly! Words couldn’t describe the immense pain Apple Bloom was feeling. Her screams sounded as terrifying as the sound of the saw blade digging into her filly flesh! I cried out at the top of my lungs, “Stop! Stop it! Stop killing my friends! Stop it!” All I could do was just laid there and sob and mourn for my friend, not being able to do anything at all!
The creature released its hold from my friend’s neck, but her body was too weak and ruined for her to try and escape; she just flailed her body and continued to scream as the saw blade reached as far as her belly button. Her blood could be seen spraying everywhere around her and bits and pieces of her flesh and inner organs were flying all over the place.
“That’s right, scream, scream,” said the creature, “Scream your heart out until your very last dying breath!”
Somehow, Apple Bloom found the strength to slightly turn towards me and spoke.
“Sw-w-weetie Belle, please, run away. Just f-f-forget about me and s-save yours-s-self; run until y-y-y-you can’t run a-anymore.”
I couldn’t stand to leave her like this, but what could I do?! I couldn’t stand to stay there and helplessly watch her get violently sawed in half, so I gathered all my courage to run away and leave her there to die.
“Don’t you pieces of S#!% get it;” shouted the creature, “it doesn’t matter how many times you escape my grasp, in the end, all of you will be slaughtered; and ponykind will be no more!”
The creature pushed the saw blade harder and deeper into Apple Bloom’s body. This time instead of screaming, she was gasping and choking on her own thrown-up blood as her body was violently convulsing from being ripped apart. Once the blade severed her neck, Apple Bloom was already dead; but the creature fully satisfied itself by sawing through the rest of her body; up to the last strand of hair at the top of her head. She was completely sawn in half and all her inners was on full display and blood continued to flow out all around her.
“That was fun, I enjoyed your dying screams. However, you caused your friend to run away again before I was finished with you. That was pretty pointless when your friend is still going to die anyway.”
He stood up and slammed its left iron boot onto one of the halves of Apple Bloom’s body with a loud ‘SPLAT!’ “Stupid little whores.” It was about time for the creature to go and eradicate the rest of Equestria, but there was still one little Ponyville resident (that’s me) that needed to be put to bed… permanently!
I was never good in taking directions, so I kept running in multiple paths not knowing exactly where I might end up. I was trying not to dwell too much on the fact that my sister and my best friends were dead. Only minutes ago they were still alive and I was laughing and talking with them; and now they’re gone. I tried my hardest, but the images just wouldn’t go away.
Tears were flying out of my filly eyes while I was continuing to run for my life; however I wasn’t watching where I was going and tripped over rock; and at the speed I was going, my body went soaring into the air. I tumbled down a small hill and soon rolled to a stop. I groaned from the combined feeling of falling down a hill and getting kicked in the stomach from that creature earlier. When I looked up I noticed that I was back at the tragedy scene… back at Ponyville. The terrifying images was back in my view; all the houses and buildings completely demolished and flaring with flames; as well as the many dead bodies of the residents lying around amongst the ruins; stallions, mares, fillies, colts, and foals alike. I was the only single resident of ponyville left.
I couldn’t take it anymore; the reality of this was just too much! I broke down and started to drown my sorrows away; but something tells me that sorrow was not going to disappear. I… I was losing all hope or my will to live.
“How… how in Equestria did this happen and why did this happen?! What did we do to deserve this?! Oh, Sis, Apple Bloom, Scootaloo; what’s the point? You’re all dead, and I’ll be dead soon enough. Everything that I loved and cared for has been taken away from me forever; I won’t be able to move on! Maybe… maybe I should go ahead and let that monster kill me; at least then I can be with… you guys again.”
Suddenly a huge explosion ignited a little ways in front of me spreading more dust and debris around me; it didn’t make me scream though, nothing else seemed anymore terrifying than seeing the death and destruction of my family and friends. The monster soon emerged from the settling smoke ready to kill me in any way he saw fit.
“Well little filly, if you wanted to die so badly, why didn’t you just say so. I’ll be happy to oblige.”
I looked up at him with tears still in my eyes, eyes that held a mixture of feelings: sadness, fear, regret, anger and…yes, even a hint of hatred; I… I wanted to kill him.
“Do you miss your friend Apple Bloom,” the creature said with a smirk, “I do believe she’s still with us… right here.”
That monster held up his left boot giving me a clear view of some of Apple Bloom’s remains that was stuck on the underside from it stepping on her. I really want to kill him now; but my emotions didn’t reveal it in its eyes just yet.
“Not to worry,” the monster told me, “since you’re so eager to die, I’ll still grant you a quick death.” He then pulled out a cannon-like weapon and pointed it at me. “This is a special electron laser cannon. One direct hit and you’ll be completely disintegrated! You won’t feel a thing.”
“Why, why did you do this;” I stated with deep depression, “why did you want to kill us?! Do you really hate us ponies that much?!”
The creature gave me a questionable look and held down its weapon.
“Oh, I don’t just hate you, I despise you! I am a man, a male version of what you would call in this world, a stallion. For years ponies were always loved by little girls, older girls and maybe some sick little boys, but recently a new world of the pony era has placed an unbalanced trend upon us… your world! Ever since your world’s existence was known to us, many of my gender of my world’s species became mesmerized by your world’s charm!”
We had a trend? What was he talking about and if they didn’t know about our existence before, how did they end up finding out now?”
“I couldn’t stand it; it had to stop before it was too late! So with the help of some of my supporters, I planned to rid these girly men of you horrendous creatures!”
He held out one of its front limbs and revealed some kind of orb it was wearing.
“This precious orb was given to me by an accomplice of mine; it has the power to grant me one wish! I could’ve wiped you all from existence by just making a wish, but I wanted to prove that I could do it all with my bare hands with no gimmicky tricks; plus it would make your kind suffer more! Thus far I have proven myself; I’ve killed your two Princess leaders, killed the Elements of harmony and their bearers, and successfully wiped out two lands! It won’t be long until my task is finally complete.”
Well as frighten as I was, I’m just glad he didn’t used that orb thing. But it didn’t matter, his excuses were stupid and in… intor… intolerable! I could not believe what I was hearing; I started to show some of my rage side as I started to yell at the creature.
“So wait, you mean you’re only killing every-pony because you hate how we’re affecting your gender of your species?! What’s so wrong about that!?”
The creature grinded it teeth in frustration, then it answered in his own rage, “Everything! They support every aspect of your world; the characters, the songs, the lessons in friendship, the mushy gushyness… UGH! And they even have the nerve to call themselves… Bronies.”
Oh… so that’s what he meant by that word before.
“I mean come on; real men should not be into that kind of stupid stuff! Instead they should be into things like dirt racing, wrestling, violence, explosions, and all that awesome stuff! All this love and tolerance and $#!%, it’s nothing but crap! You ponies must all die, along with your wretched world as well!”
This creature was really starting to get on my nerves as he kept on ranting about why he must do this and talking down about us like we’re a disease in the universe. My anger was rising higher and my mane was standing on end; my fear however was slowly disappearing from my face.
“Are you kidding me? Are you freaking kidding me?!” Tears of hatred overflowed my cheeks, “I can’t believe you! You invade our world, killed our leaders, destroyed my home, and killed many different ponies including my only sister and my best friends, and you’re telling me that that’s the only excuse you have for it?!”
The creature put on an amused smirk on his smug face and answered my rant question, “It’s all the excuse I need. Now stand still you little whore… so I can kill you dead.”
He directed his weapon towards me in an attempt to charge it to full power to fully make sure that I didn’t survive the ordeal, but me… I just stood there with my head down and tears flowing out of my eyes. My patience with this monster was wearing thin. At this point, I no longer feared the creature… I hated it; hated it with all my heart! My horn started to slightly glow in response to my anger and sorrows.
“I can’t believe this, this monster is a lunatic; he’s left me all alone.” I looked up at it with eyes intended to kill, “You think you have the right to kill us or not? You think you can do whatever you want just because you think it’s wrong?! Every-pony has the right to learn about love and tolerance… or any other creature; but you… you have no love in your heart… no wait… you have no heart at all. And now, you’re going pay; pay for what you have done!!!”
My horn started to glow brighter and brighter as I focused all my anger towards the creature. However, it did nothing but stand there and smirk; having a good chuckle at my emotional pain.
“Heh, go ahead, glow that little horn of yours. It will serve you no purpose in having any chance to…huh?”
The creature noticed that the light around my horn was getting even brighter than before; a little more than what he thought would come from me. Suddenly, my horn burst forth with energy lighting up the entire area around us.
“W-what the fu#%!!?” The creature suddenly started to show a little fear from itself.
When my horn was done charging, the size of the aura was tremendous; I was no longer afraid or defenseless. For once it was the creature who was cowering a bit.
I grinned as I stared at its terrified face, “Take this!!!”
In one sudden burst, I used all my energy to fire off an aura beam so big and powerful it seemed to surpass the abilities of Twilight’s! The creature reacted instantly by firing its weapon in the opposite direction, causing both beams to collide on impact. Sparks were flying, and the constant pushing of both beams could almost sound like thunder in the distance. The creature soon began to struggle against my attack.
“Ugh, where the hell… did this little filly get… all of this power?! I wasn’t prepared for this!”
“Know this you monster;” I yelled back at the creature with fire sill emanating from my eyes, “setting foot into our world was the worst mistake… you have ever made!!!”
My beam then started to push back towards him with his beam getting weaker.
“NOOOOOOOOOOOOOOO!!!”
In an instant, my beam burst right through his blast, causing it to disappear.
He looked up saw the beam coming right at him, “Aw S#!%.”
My beam blasted right over the devastating creature’s body and its screams echoed throughout the surrounding lands around the ruins of Ponyville. Piece by piece, the creature’s body was torn apart until it… was no more. When my beam dissipated, I felt my life flash before eyes as I wavered a bit and then collapsed on the ground… unconscious.
My body was tired and… weak, but somehow I managed to wake up among the surrounding ruins of the town. I looked ahead to where the creature used to stand, but there was nothing left; just the huge crater my aura beam created. I’ve done it, I had actually done it! I defeated the monster, all by myself! The rest of Equestria was safe all thanks to me! So why did my happiness suddenly turn back into sadness? Perhaps it was because I was still living the reality that my home and my friends were all gone from existence. I just stared blankly into space as I just plopped on my flank and started to cry some more. I survived, but what can I do now?
Just then I lifted my hoof off my eyes; catching a glimpse of something shining in the exact spot that the creature once stood. I slowly walked over to it being cautious just in case. What was it, it was that shiny orb thing that the creature was wearing; it seemed to have survived my blast. This was great; I have actually gained a treasure that will grant me any wish I want! I mean, I could wish for anything: candy, money, love, peace, toys, anything! ‘Gasp!’ I could even wish to have my very own cutiemark! But then again… what’s the point of having any of that… if I didn’t have any-pony to share it with? But then, it hit it me as I slapped my hoof across my forehead.
“Of course, duh! Why didn’t I think of that first!? I just hope… it actually works.”
I placed the orb onto my right hoof and held it high in the air; hoping I was doing it right, I made sure that I said the exact words I wanted to speak.
“OH, magical and mystical orb please hear my words! In this time of tragedy, in this time of sorrow, please grant me a wish that will… that will…”
Wow, I didn’t know coming up with rhymes could be so hard sometimes.
“Ah, I got it! Grant me a wish that will change as… time follows! I… I wish that every-pony who was killed to be alive again, and for everything to be normal again!”
The orb gave off a powerful glow as it lifted off my hoof and higher in the air. The light was too bright for my eyes to look directly at it, so I covered my eyes and looked away as the orb’s light literally showered the entire land in its illumination.
When I finally uncovered my eyes, what I saw almost seemed too much of a dream; exactly the same feeling I felt when every-pony was being killed. But it wasn’t a dream, it was very much real! It was… Ponyville; exactly the way as I remembered it! All buildings were still standing, and they were not in ruins; even the Library Tree was whole again! But what was even better was the sight of all the residents! They were all alive again; Mrs. Cheerlie, Twilight, Rainbow Dash, Twist, Mr. & Mrs. Cake; even seeing Diamond Tiara and Silver Spoon alive again made me feel happy and relieved. Every-pony was back and alive, but… where’s…
“Sweetie Belle, there you are,” shouted a southern-like voice from behind me.
“What’s going on? Aren’t we supposed to be dead,” shouted another.
I turned around in an instant only to see running towards me were my 2 best friends, Apple Bloom and Scootaloo! I ran toward them as well, and we ended up giving each other a big, warm, friendly embrace.
“Sweetie Belle, you’re alive,” shouted Apple Bloom with tears in her eyes, “Ah was so worried!”
“Well I’m just as glad and psyched as the rest of you,” stated Scootaloo, “but what the hay is going on here!? The last time I remembered, this town was destroyed and every-pony here was dead… I WAS DEAD! I mean, I was impaled all the way through from my butthole for pete-sake!”
“Well that ain’t nothin’,” Apple Bloom responded in a voice of pride, “I was literally sawed in half vertical-wise; private area first.”
Apple Bloom kind of worried me a bit. It was almost like she was proud of the way she was killed.
Scootaloo freaked out more than she already was.
“You were what?! You mean the monster killed you too!? And how were you killed Sweetie Belle?! Did he disintegrate you or something?!”
“Well actually he was gonna…”
“We should all be dead right now, but we’re not… or are we?! Are we zombies and don’t even know it! What’s going on?! What… is going…oooooon!!!?”
I gave a little chuckle; Scootaloo sure looked and sounded funny when she gets freaked out. I admit, I was starting to miss that.
“It’s okay Scootaloo. You see, I actually wasn’t killed.”
“YOU WEREN’T,” my two friends shouted.
“Nope. You see, the creature actually had this orb thingy that let you have one wish! So, I simply wished for every-pony to be alive again and for things to go back to normal!”
“Really,” said Apple Bloom, “guess that explains everything; seems a bit ironic though.”
“But wait, what about the monster,” said Scootaloo, “I’m pretty sure it wouldn’t just let you walk right up to it and take its… orb thing; so what happened to it?!”
I gave them both a little sly smile and said, “He,he. I killed him.”
My friends gave me a wide-eyed look with their mouths dropped open. Then they looked at each other; suddenly they started to burst out in laughter! I’ve never heard either of those two laugh so hard before.
“No, seriously you guys; I killed him.”
“Come on Sweetie Belle,” said Scootaloo, “you couldn’t have! It’s just… not you!”
“Hey, she can tell me,” Said Applebloom, “She won’t lie to me!”
She was right; I couldn’t lie to her or any of her family. Her sister does represent the element of honesty after all. So, I walked right up to Apple Bloom and looked at her at eye level and said, “I… did… kill… him.” I kept on a straight face the whole time.
Both of my friends gasped; they couldn’t believe the sweet, cutesy Sweetie Belle actually killed someone, or rather something.
“No way, how did you do it,” Apple Bloom responded.
“I’m not sure. I guess I got totally angry at the monster’s lame reasons for his purpose of doing what he did. He kept going on about this, and kept going on about that; and soon I couldn’t take it anymore. It’s like I took all my anger, all my frustration, and all my sorrows and feelings for everything I had lost, and released it out in an attack strong enough to completely obliterate him! One thing for sure though, he never saw it coming.”
“That sounds so cool,” Scootaloo exclaimed, “I wish I was still alive at that time to see it!”
Talking to my friends again was definitely a wonderful moment for me, but something came to my mind, “Hey, where’s Rarity?”
A voice oh so familiar suddenly came up from behind me, “Oh Sweetie Belle!”
I know that voice! It was…
“Rarity!?”
“Sweetie Belle!”
Yeah, you know what happened next… typical mushy moment between sisters; we cried, we hugged, we kissed… o-on the cheek!
“Oh Sweetie Belle, I’m so glad that you’re okay! I would have been worried… you know, if I was alive at the time.”
I couldn’t wait to tell my sister of what happened. I was hopping with eager excitement to do so!
“Rarity, you won’t believe what happened with me today! You see I…”
She suddenly placed her hoof over my mouth to signify me to stop talking.
“No need to Sweetie Belle, I heard everything that you told your friends.”
“Oh, you did?!”
“Yes I did, and let me say that I am so proud of you!”
She gave me a nice little nuzzle on the cheek; that there made me feel proud of myself too.
“You know Sweetie, when you think about it; you practically saved all of Equestria!”
Wow, my sister did have a point; I did save all of Equestria! I definitely accomplished a huge feat! I wondered if I earned a cutiemark for doing that?! I quickly tilted my flank towards my eye’s view; only to find that it was still blank and bare!
“AHHH! What!? I went through all that sh…. I-I-I-I mean mess… destroyed a powerful being, and saved all of Equestria, and I didn’t even earn a cutiemark for that?!”
I was dreadfully upset about it. I mean, what kind of pony goes through that sort of thing and not get a cutiemark… I mean seriously!
“Don’t sweat it,” said Apple Bloom as she came and comfort me, “Ah guess maybe that’s just another one of your talents; not your main one, but one of them.”
“Well, I guess that makes a little sense,” I said still feeling a little down, “I still wish I got it though.”
Rarity put her hoof on my shoulder and smiled, “Tell you what Sweetie Belle, for all your troubles, how about I take all three of you out for Ice Cream; my treat of course.”
Apple Bloom and Scootaloo’s eyes open very wide with excitement, “REALLY!!!!?”
“Oh thank you,” I shouted while hugging my sister, “You’re the best, Sis!”
“Yes, yes, I know. Just remember we have to tell everyone about what happened soon.”
Suddenly Scootaloo became very excited, “Hey Sweetie Belle! After this, you want to do some more crusading!? I had a few interesting ideas that we could try!”
I just calmly just shook my head.
“Nah… after what happened today, I just want to hang out with you guys, just relaxing and taking it easy.”
Both of my friends decided to nod in agreement.
“By the way Sweetie Belle, what do you say that after this we head over to Twilight’s,” my sister stated, “We can have Spike write a letter to Celestia telling her of your glorious feat!”
“Hey that’s a great idea! I can’t wait to tell her! Maybe she’ll give me a reward or something; like lots of toys!”
We all had a good laugh at my comment, but I really wasn’t kidding about the toys.
“Okay, let’s go,” shouted Scootaloo, “Nothing says taking it easy like having ice cream after being violently killed and miraciously brought back.”
“Oh, Scootaloo…” we all groaned; however it was a bit funny.
We all started to head towards Sugar Cube Corner for some nice sweet ice cream! I wonder how Pinkie and the Cakes would react if I told them that I saved all of Equestria? Well whatever it would be like, it would definitely be better than wondering all alone with every-pony else dead. A life without my best friends would be way worse than never getting a cutiemark… and yes, I’m being truly sincere.
Suddenly, something came to Apple Bloom’s mind as she turned towards me.
“Hey Sweetie Belle Ah almost forgot, did ya ever figure out what that monsterous creature was?”
I thought about it and wondered… then I just shrugged.
“Nope, I didn’t. I’m afraid we may never find that out.”
