I looked up to my mother and asked her about the Armour. Mommy? "yes sweetie?" what is bwubby wearing? "well sweetie, it protects your brother" I just loved seeing that Armour, just how it shines in the light. I tried putting the Armour on before, but me being a filly, I could almost just hide in the helmet. When my brother and I would play hide and seek, that's the one spot I would always hide at, but he would always find me. bwubby! "how's little frosty?" can chu play hide and seek with me "hehe, sure thing frosty" yay! "go hide and I will count" Once again, I chose to hide in his Armour, but this time, it wasn't his helmet, it was his body Armour. "gotcha!" That would always just scare me, he would pick me up and my parents would always call me weird because I would sit on his head. It was fun, because it would always make me feel like i was the tallest out of every pony in my town, and they all would just laugh, and I laughed too. We were getting ready for dinner, when my brothers mare friend arrived, she was nice to my family and to my brother, but she was nice to me the most, but she would always call me cute, adorable, and a new name for me "Frosty bite". Every night, she would be the one to tuck me in because my parents would go to bed first, she held me till i fell asleep, basically did what my parents would do. The next day, my brother had to go...my parents had explained to me that he was going to leave Equestria, because he had to do something with Princess Luna, honestly, I've always wanted to meet Princess Luna, but my parents really never had the time to take me to Canter lot, I was sad by it, but my parents would always find a way to make me happy, and to get my mind off of it. I loved school, it was fun and I was getting ready for school, but I never really had any friends so it was hard for me to speak to other ponies, I was just too shy. I would also get bullied by these two colts, sometimes I would run away from school back to my home and cry, but the day after. I went back to school and they were making jokes about my brother not coming back home, all I did was fall to the ground crying, but my teacher had enough of it and dragged them back home. Fillies would comfort me, and so would my parents. My teacher asked them about me, and they just decided it would be best for me to be home schooled, but that didn't stop those colts getting shunned, and all the other fillies and colts just hated them, I feel bad for them but my parents tell me not to be. That night, I just cried myself to sleep. I was having nightmares of my brother not coming home, screaming for help. His mare friend was there to hold me and comfort me. She told my parents she would stay with me, and they agreed. I woke up the next morning and my parents were sitting at the end of my bed. I wondered what was wrong and i looked up at them worried. mommy? whats wrong? "well, sweetie..your brother is on a very special mission, and some ponies have to go looking for him" I didn't know what that meant, but I started crying because she knew I was smarter than that, I cried because she was trying to explain in a better way that my brother went missing. My parents and his mare friend tried everything to get me happy again, but I was crying for three days straight. One Year Later {}{}{}{}{}{}{}{}{}{}{}{}{}{}{}{}{}{}{}{}{}{}{}{}{}{}{}{}{}{}{}{}{}{}{}{}{}{}{}{}{}{}{}{}{}{}{}{}{}{}{}{}{}{}{}{}{}{}{}{}{}{}{{}{}{}{}{}{} Exactly one year since my brother has gone missing. This is the worst day I could ever imagine, plus it's three days until my birthday, I woke up crying today. I was six, when I got the news, now I'm seven. I just want to see my brother again, two soldiers from Luna's army came by today to tell us that they had found no sign of my brother. They saw me running back into my room and felt heart broken. They now him being gone really hit me hard, almost as hard as them, but I wasn't even close to feeling the pain they are feeling. I cried under my pillow, I didn't want to be disturbed, I just wanted to be alone. I heard my door open and I quickly got out of my bed and I hid under my bed, my wings wrapped around me, and I loved to nibble on my hoof, it always calmed me down. "Frosty? Please come out from under your bed, we have a present for you" I was always happy to get presents, but right now I didn't want to come out, but I decided to and what I saw was the best gift I could ever ask for. My parents explained that the soldiers had found my brothers Armour with a note on it. "If anyone finds this Armour, please give it to my sister..." I wasn't big enough to wear it yet, but my parents said the Royal Sisters, were going to keep the Armour in a safe place. I was super happy, because this gave me hope that my brother is truly still alive, that, I will be able to see him again. One Week Later {}{}{}{}{}{}{}{}{}{}{}{}{}{}{}{}}{}{}{}{}{}{}{}{}{}{}{}{}{}{}{}{}{}{}{}{}{}{}{}{}{}{}{}{}{}{}{}{}{}{}{}{}{}{}{}{}{}{}{}{}{}{}{}{}{}{}{}{} My parents woke me up, and I noticed big smiles on their faces. Instantly I felt a smile come on my face and I looked up at them. Mommy, is everything okay? "well sweetie, your dad and I thought it was a good idea to take you to the fair, to make you feel better" REALLY! "yes sweetie" YAY YAY YAY YAY I was super happy, I always wanted to go to the fair, but I wasn't able to because my parents, were always at work and always tired when they come home. I could have gone with my brother's mare friend, but she was too busy baby sitting. Now that I am able to go, I can't stop jumping up and down, I was just very happy. We were walking down the road when we heard screaming, it wasn't a scream of fun, it was a scream of fear. The next thing I know is ponies running away from something, I saw an army enter our village. One stallion knocked me down, and looked down at me, I looked up and screamed. Chapter 2: Losing Memories, Bringing NightmaresI kept screaming, I was afraid of what the stallion would do to me. I hate the feeling of being hurt, I can't protect myself, and when I try to, I fail at it. Nothing happened, I had my eyes closed, so I couldn't really see what's going on. I opened my eyes, to see my father. He looks down at me and smiles, I'm happy to see him again, I feel m ore safe when I am around my family. I see my mom, and I run up to her, hugging her leg. She had picked me up, and I looked at her. She was shaking with fear, and I started to get worried by it. I hated to see my family scared, I would want to cry every time I see that happen. Mommy, what's happening! "sweetie, all I need you to do is hide in my wings, and close your eyes okay?" o-okay mommy I always listen to my mom, okay maybe not as a younger filly, but ever since I was eight. I hid inside her wings, and shut my eyes, just thinking of good, and happy memories. The next thing I know is, I fell on the ground, I had opened my eyes to see my mother on the ground motionless. I ran up to her, just screaming. MOMMY! She didn't say anything, she just weakly looked up at me and smiled. I wanted to cry, my dad was nowhere to be seen, and all around me, ponies I know in the town are just...I don't want to describe what I had seen, just. They were killed, some of the fillies and colts were getting captured. I looked back at my mom and I started crying, I just couldn't stop crying, but she looked at me and wiped my tears. Her eyes closed and I held her tight, because my dad was gone, my mother was gone, and my brother is missing. I was all alone. Soon enough, everything just went quiet, I heard hoof steps behind me, I was too scared to look back. I felt a hoof touch me and I look up at the stallion. He looks down at me and picks me up with his magic. EEP! HEY! "now. now little one, I won't hurt you" let go of me! "shush little one, everything will be okay" I woke up in a cell, I was scared but don't remember a thing, I tried my best to remember anything, but it felt like I lost all my memories. A stallion walked up to my cell door and smiled down at me. He opened the door up and just put chains on my hooves and pushed me out of the cell, I don't know what he would make me do, but what I had to do was just work, mining gems, but I could never do good work at it because I was too weak. I usually go back to my cell every night with cuts, and a black eye. That was a punishment that Sombra made his soldiers do to us. I hated every bit of it, but if I were to complain. I would get the punishment again. Two Years Later {}{}{}{}{}{}{}{}{}{}{}{}{}{}{}{}{}{}{}{}{}{}{}{}{}{}{}{}{}{}{}{}{}{}{}{}{}{}{}{}{}{}{}{}{}}{}{}{}{}{}{}{}{}{}}{}{}{}{}{}{}{}{}{}{}{}{}{}{} It has been two years and still, no one has come to save us, no even a sign of hope. I wanted to cry, to just leave this place. I talked to no one, didn't have any friends here. I didn't want to talk to anyone, but some of the guards just looked at me. Not with an angry face, disgusted look, just more like a worried look. I was the only one out of all the ponies that were put to work, that would just cry... I remember going to the balcony of the crystal tower and just looking down, I quietly sneaked in without any pony seeing me, I am still surprised how I managed it. I closed my eyes and just. I wanted to jump but, being me, I was caught by a guard pony. Great... "tell me, what are you doing here!" n-nothing s-sir "get back to your bed" I did as I was told, but that doesn't make me stop hating this place. Then again, this is my home, because they ~~provide food~~...okay scratch that. They hardly provide food for us, but they do ~~provide water~~...forget that too. They really didn't give us anything, that's the reason why some of the ponies would die, either from starvation, dehydration, or both. One Week Later {}{}{}{}{}{}{}{}{}{}{}{}{}{}{}{}{}{}{}{}{}{}{}{}{}{}{}{}{}{}{}{}{}{}{}{}{}{}{}{}{}{}{}{}{}{}{}{}{}{}{}{}{}{}{}{}{}{}{}{}{}{}{}{}{}{}{}{}{}{} I woke up feeling terrible, my head was hurting and...everything is quiet. I didn't know why, but I wanted to find out. why is everything so quiet today, jeez it feels like a ghost town... I walked out of my room to find every pony working, and one guards sees me, and does nothing. He just walks away and I just had a smile on my face, because this would be the perfect time to escape. I just need to. OOF! I looked up to see a dark unicorn, his horn was black, but had red in it, his eyes were purple, but had this green smoke coming from them. "Hello, little one. I decided to let you rest, after that little accident you had" little accident? "you don't remember?" I-I don't... "while mining some rocks, you fell over and bumped your little head" o-oh I- "go rest, I will wake you up soon" I decided not to rest, but when I got out of all of their sights, I just ran. I was getting super close to the force field barrier thing, whatever it is called, can't say I fully remember this. The next thing I know is an alicorn is in front of me, but I wanted to scream, but she picked me up and put me on her back. I just smiled because I looked behind her and I saw just an army of bat ponies. I was just amazed, because the last time I seen this, was back at my ho-...yeah..I remember my home, it was destroyed,I didn't remember my family, or anything that relates to them. I started to cry again, but the alicorn spread out her wings and looked up at me. "hold on tight, I wouldn't want you hurt" I held on as tight as I can, but not to the point where I would choke her or anyway. I wasn't ever taught how to fly, which was sad to me because by now lots of ponies I know are starting to fly. I looked down, and I saw how high we were, I jumped back and I instantly started falling. I couldn't stop screaming until the alicorn had caught me. I hugged her tight and smiled, I didn't want to say it, but I couldn't remember who my real mom was. thank you mommy! "you're welcome sweetie" I finally felt happy again, I felt safe, I felt...free. I didn't have to worry about any pony hurting me, I now have a pony to protect me again. Now, I was crying, not because I am sad. No, because I was happy. All this time of waiting, and help finally came. Not just for me, but for all the ponies that were getting hurt, and were feeling pain. Chapter 3: Starting overWhile the alicorn and I were heading back to Canter lot, we had been talking to each other and I had found out that she was Princess Luna. I was so happy to see her again, because this is getting me closer to remembering my home. All I know about it was, my home was attacked, my brother is missing and...seeing Princess Luna. thank you for saving me mommy "I-I would always save you..." Just the sad look into her eyes...it just made me feel sad, I hated to see her sad, seeing it would hurt my heart. I had hugged her, and didn't let go, and I swear I saw a smile creep on her face. We had made it to Canter lot, the city was just beautiful. I looked down and I saw all of the ponies wearing fancy clothing. Never have I ever worn such fancy clothing, I just feel like I don't deserve to wear it. As we landed I looked at two guard ponies, they were wearing golden Armour. mommy... "yes sweetie?" who are they? "they protect mommy, sweetie" Just every time they would look at me, I would hide in Luna's wings, they wouldn't be worried, sad, they would just laugh. I hated being called cute, I would always blush and just embarrass myself. I was carried to a room, but this room was pretty big. The room was Luna's room, she smiled at me and tucked me into her bed. It was reaching night time, and she had left the room to raise the moon, but I was afraid of the dark, and I had gotten scared really fast. MOMMY I heard hoof steps getting closer to the room quickly, but me being scared, I hid under the blankets. I had always thought that staying under the covers would protect me from anything in the dark. I had felt the blankets move and I screamed because I saw a pony looking down at me. "shh sweetie, I am here...shh..." I-I w-was scared m-mommy Just being in her hooves, her wings wrapped around me, I instantly felt safe again, like nothing could ever hurt me. Two guards had come in the room to see if everything was okay, and Luna told them I was having a nightmare. Well, she was close to telling the truth, but I wouldn't say anything about it, I was just happy she was there to hold me. Two Years Later {}{}{}{}{}{}{}{}{}{}{}{}{}{}{}{}{}{}{}{}{}{}{}{}{}{}{}{}{}{}{}{}{}{}{}{}{}{}{}{}{}{}{}{}{}{}{}{}{}{}{}{}{}{}{}{}{}{}{}{}{}{}{}{}{}{}{}{}{} I was now fourteen, I didn't know the years flew by very fast, I really miss being a filly, because now I have to act like a mare...well technically, I am now a mare. No more being a filly, now I have to do what a mare does, and one of those things I did is ask mom who my real parents are. hey, mom...can..can I ask you a question? "whats wrong sweetie?" who...who are my real parents..? "sweetie, what are you talking about? I am your real mom" but..I remember you saving me from King Sombra and- "sweetie, I wouldn't tell a lie" sorry mom.. I guess she was right, she was my mother, but I had a feeling in my head, just I needed to figure out the truth. I wanted to figure out everything I don't remember. She has been teaching me how to fly, but to me it was a bit sad that I am fourteen and I don't know how to fly... We were on top of a cloud, she was laying down on her back, and I was laying down on her stomach. I got off of her and looked down at her, I felt to myself that I think it was about time I try to fly on my own. In my mind, I was telling myself I was ready to fly, but my gut had said other wise... mommy, I think I am ready to fly on my own "sweetie, are you sure about this?" yes mom.. Well, at first I was doing good, but never listen to your mind, always listen to your gut. I was screaming, because I was now free falling. I tried to scream for my mom, but I wouldn't think she could even hear me, I tried flapping my wings as fast as I can, but I was failing and getting closer to the ground. I was above water, but either way, that would still hurt, because I was told that water is almost as tough as stone, and I have always been afraid of water. MOMMY! HELP ME! "I'M COMING SWEETIE!" I couldn't hear her, because I was screaming too much. I was afraid of death, lots of ponies are, but my hear was beating fast and I just closed my eyes. Instantly, everything had stopped, I opened my eyes and Luna was holding me, I was so happy that she saved me, I couldn't stop hugging her. I was hugging her for about 5 minutes straight, my heart was pumping, fear was just overwhelming me. I didn't say a single word on the way back home, because Luna was angry at me, I honestly don't blame her... "you could have been killed!" I instantly cried after hearing that, I really didn't remember any pony, so really...I was scared to die alone. I tried my best to apologize, but all I did was just cry into her mane. I hated to see my mother mad, and I would do everything to make her happy.. I got up out of my bed and I did my stretches, I swear every time I do those stretches, I am hearing a popping sound in my back. good morning mom! "good morning, sweetie, I need to talk to you.." what's wrong mom..? "well, sweetie...I know you love it here, and I am happy for that, but I want you to go out and make new friends, I am sure it will help you from being shy all the time" mom, I am terrible with meeting other ponies! I will be called a freak! "you are now just being over dramatic sweetie, I promise if you go and make friends, your life will open to new more fun and excitement, than you have ever experienced before!" okay...I will go find some friends, but where should I go? "how about Ponyville" where? Luna had to teach me some history about Ponyville, I started to find interest in this little town, as she called it. The way she explained it, I would be able to find lots of friends there. I was so happy, but then again, I was sad because I was moving out of my home, away from my mother. On the bright side, I think it is time for me to start my own adventure, make new friends, and have lots of fun. This is going to be a blast. Chapter 4: New adventureI was standing outside of the castle the Royal Sisters lived in, it was beautiful to see, because it may look big on outside, but its a little smaller on the inside. I saw two guard ponies standing in front of my mother and Aunt Celestia. I had hugged them both and my mother had pulled me back inside to talk, she had to go travel but she wanted to tell me something important. "sweetie, I love you with my heart, is this what you want?" yes mom, I want to explore new places, and like you said, I need to find some friends "well, I cant stop you, because you have turned into a beautiful mare, but I don't want any pony to hurt you" no pony will hurt me mom, I promise I can stand up for myself I started walking off to the train station, I just took a deep breath and of course she had to embarrass me again... "also! don't let stallions jump all over you!" mommmmm! I had this big blush on my face getting on the train, and as the train left. I looked to the seat next to me and I did see this stallion smile at me, and I smiled back. He had walked over and sat at the seat next to me. "you are looking lovely today miss" o-oh uh thank you This only made my blush even worse, I was always called cute my my mother, but never by a complete stranger! I looked back at him, and I also tried to cover my face. That wasn't really a good way to hide because I heard other ponies saying aww. "hehe, sorry about that ma'am, I didn't mean to embarrass ya" n-no no, that's okay, I just never have been called cute before, well by a stranger.. "my name is Volar, what is yours if it is okay to ask ma'am" F-frost B-bite, nice to meet you He was a very sweet stallion, but sadly he isn't going to ponyville, he is heading down to a place called "Los Pegasus".. I wish he could stay with me, he's honestly cute. An Hour Later {}{}{}{}{}{}{}{}{}{}{}{}{}{}{}{}{}{}{}{}{}{}{}{}{}{}{}{}{}{}{}{}{}{}{}{}{}{}{}{}{}{}{}{}{}{}{}{}{}{}{}{}{}{}{}{}{}{}{}{}{}{}{}{}{}{}{}{}{} As the train stopped, I exited the train and saw a lot of ponies, but everything just went quiet, and I saw ponies just staring at me. The way they were staring, it looks like they haven't had a bat pony come to Ponyville before. I was surprised at the though, but when some pony said it, I just said in my head "bingo!". I was walking down the dirt road of the town, but it was turning night, and I really don't have anywhere to stay, I had instantly heard something in the bushes next to the path. I slowly approached it and I saw a yellow ear, oh a pony, but who was this pony. h-hello? "o-oh, s-sorry, please don't hurt me..." I-I won't hurt you, um...n-nice to meet you, m-my name is Frost.. "I-I'm Fluttershy" I just was lost with her, because she was just like me! I was very shy, and I couldn't talk around new people. I sat down next to her and I smiled. The way I would comfort my mother when she was sad is I would wrap one wing around her. I did the same thing with Fluttershy. She just had this cute little smile on her face, it had made my heart just feel almost happy, well....really happy. She honestly is a very adorable pony, I just really cant think to be mad at her, because she looks like the pony you just want to cuddle and ki- I, okay well...anyways I loved spending time with her, and she showed me all around Ponyville, but I haven't really got to meet other ponies. well, Fluttershy, thank you for showing me around, but if it's okay with you, could we be able to meet other ponies "oh, I'm sorry..., I didn't mean to make you bored..." oh no I didn't mean it like that... Nice job Frost, make yourself look like a complete jerk..I never felt so sad in my life as much as this, I just hope that she doesn't hate me for that..I was a bit rude there... She had taken me to a farm, but this farm had a lot more trees, than I had thought. I looked at them all and instantly saw that these are apple trees, my mouth was watering, from things about the apples. Fluttershy had noticed and looked at me but, I really didn't notice that. I went to turn and our muzzles touched, I broke out of my trance and blushed deeply, I got up of my flank and looked at her. s-sorry a-about that, I-I should h-have been looking "n-no i-it was my fault.." When we started walking, we were a little bit separated, I just kept looking at her, but she just looked down the whole way. I felt like a complete jerk...but I had stopped when I saw a barn, I saw Fluttershy walk to a pony, she had the color of orange, almost looking like faded yellow hair, and a cow pony hat? hey Fluttershy, who is she? if you don't mind miss "I will let you both chat" Fluttershy, was walking away, but...I didn't want her to leave, I was having fun spending time with her. I wanted her to stay, but I guess she was busy anyways, which makes it worse.. I had turned back to the farm pony, but she had this teasing smirk on her face, like she knew what was going on. I had gulped and I looked into her eyes. I didn't know what she was going to say, but I was ready for anything she says. w-what..? "mighty nice day out" y-yes it is.. "y'all in love with mah friend" w-what! no! "ah just kiddin sugar cube, mah name's Applejack" I knew she wasn't kidding, but I just hope she really was, because I am not in love with Fluttershy, I just think she is sweet, and...adorable. Fluttershy had come back and Applejack had to get back to work. We left the farm and entered Ponyville again. Fluttershy had taken me to a beautiful looking building, we had entered and this place was covered in amazing, and very beautiful dresses. I started to feel tired, but I tried not to show it, but I failed. I talked with the white unicorn and she has an amazing name "Rarity". I had tried on a few dresses for her, and she says I have the perfect body..I don't know what that means, but I got to have a dress made for me for free! I was so happy, that I hugged her and left. I really didn't have anywhere to stay, and I stopped and tapped on Fluttershy. She was talking to a little bunny, and I didn't want to interrupt her, so I just waited. "is everything okay Frost?" I..I uh well...can I stay at your home for tonight? "of course! I will be happy to let you rest at my home" I felt very happy, but tiredness just completely took that away from me. We had made it back to her home, and I saw lots of animals, a lot of animals, but she took me to a guest bedroom, it looked beautiful, and when I got under the blankets, I felt very comfy, but even though I was a mare, I was still scared of the dark, not as much as I used to, but just a little. I had gotten out of bed, because I couldn't sleep, and I went to Fluttershy's room, and I walked up to her bed, I really didn't want to wake her, but all I did was nuzzle her hoof. I tried to wake her up peacefully, and I succeeded, but I had looked up at her, and she was rubbing her eyes. In my head, I tried to think of a better way to ask this but, I just went for it. h-hey Fluttershy...c-could I sleep next to you...I know it may sound a bit awkward, but I'm a little scared of the dark... "sure Frost, I'll do anything to help a friend" I smiled and I crawled into the bed, I whispered thank you to her, and she tucked us both under the blankets. I wrapped one of my wings around her, to show a sign of protection. I know, because that's what my mother would do back in Canter lot. She would always wrap one wings around me, if I was getting bullied, and they would run away after she did that. A Few Hours Later {}{}{}{}{}{}{}{}{}{}{}{}{}{}{}{}{}{}{}{}{}{}{}{}{}{}{}{}{}{}{}{}{}{}{}{}{}{}{}{}{}{}{}{}{}{}{}{}{}{}{}{}{}{}{}{}{}{}{}{}{}{}{}{}{}{}{}{}{} I woke up, but I was the only one in the bed. I got up and stretched, I went out of the bedroom and made my way downstairs to Fluttershy, Applejack, Rarity, a pink pony I don't know who, and a purple unicorn, that I don't know. I walked fully down the stairs and I hid behind Fluttershy, and they all giggled. I instantly had a blush on my face, and I hated being shy sometimes, everyone either calls me cute, adorable, or just says aww. Fluttershy, Applejack, and Rarity gave the two new ponies and I some privacy and I sat down. h-hi, I'm F-Frost.. "Nice to meet you frost, I am Twilight sparkle" "HIMYNAMEISPINKIEIHAVENTEVERSEENABATPONYBEFOREITSALWAYSGOODTOMEETNEWFRIENDS!" I couldn't understand what she just said, but all I could make out of that is "pinkie", "bat pony", and "friends". So, I just though she wanted to be friends, and I was super happy for it. The worst part about this is, I saw Applejack walk in, with this almost evil smile on her face. Twilight and Pinkie left the room, and she had sat down. I just gulped and watched her, I didn't know what to ask her so I just went and talked. We were talking, and Applejack had brought up that Fluttershy and I were sleeping in the same bed, well I am afraid of the dark and I sleep better with someone with me. When I told her, it did sound kind of weird, but she just laughed and so did I. We all were heading off to ponyville, and they all were talking about a "Rainbow Dash". I don't know who Rainbow Dash is, but I was going to ask them until I saw a Pegasus pony land in front of us. Well, I think I know why they all call her Rainbow dash. She honestly looked pretty amazing, because of how colorful she looked. oh.....uh.....hi.....I'm Frost "hey, I'm the best flyer in Equestria!" I'm guessing you are Rainbow Dash? "the one and only!" I was happy making new friends, because I now felt like I have ponies that will stand up for me, that will protect me, and I will dot the same with them. I was always shy to meet other ponies, but with the help of Fluttershy, I wasn't very shy anymore, I loved making new friends, and spending time with them. I think living here will be absolutely fun! I hope my mother is proud of me, I miss her already. Chapter 5: Remembering memoriesAnother day waking up inside Fluttershy's home, I loved spending time with Fluttershy, she is fun to be around, and she is just completely adorable. My friends are worried for me though, because I have been avoiding Fluttershy, or so they think. I told them that I haven't but, they just don't believe me...right when I walk out, Applejack is at the door... "hello sugar cube" oh...hey Applejack, what's up? "Rainbow dash was looking fer ya" oh..thank you Applejack.. Pinkie had invited me to Sugar Cube Corner, she said that I will get to have any sweet I want for free but just one, it's for when she makes new friends. I was super happy because, the only time I ever had a sweet was...wait...when was the last time I had a sweet..anyways..I thanked her and I was ready to eat a sweet when I saw Rainbow instantly giving me a death look, and I went pale. "SO YOU THINK YOU CAN ABANDON ONE OF MY FRIENDS HUH!" w-what are you talking about Rainbow? I had started to just tear up, I hated being yelled at, I always just ran away and cried, and that is just what I was gonna do if she kept yelling... "WE HATE YOU! WE DON'T WANT TO SEE YOU AGAIN! YOU ARE A JERK TO FLUTTERSHY!" I...I.. I couldn't take it anymore...I saw the rest of my friends try to tell her that, it wasn't true, she started to calm down, and I looked Fluttershy in her eyes, I just saw her say in her mind. "everything is okay" I just couldn't believe it...I got up and I looked at all of them, Twilight, just walked to me...and looked into my eyes.. "frost...everything is fi-" NO IT ISN'T! I just ran, and I never looked back, I heard them screaming my name, but I din't listen to them, I just kept running, I ran into the Ever free forest, I didn't care if I get attacked, I don't care if I get killed, right now....I want to be gone...gone for what I did... A Few Hours Later {}{}{}{}{}{}{}{}{}{}{}{}{}{}{}{}{}{}{}{}{}{}{}{}{}{}{}{}{}{}{}{}{}{}{}{}{}{}{}{}{}{}{}{}{}{}{}{}{}{}{}{}{}{}{}{}{}{}{}{}{}{}{}{}{}{}{}{}{} I kept running, I really didn't know where I was, but I ran into a village, this village looks like it has been burned down, I walked deeper into the village, until I saw this beautiful home, it was kinda burned, but still livable. I walked inside and I instantly smelled death...I didn't want to be here...but my mind kept telling me to go forward, I decided to follow my mind and I walked into the kitchen, everything was damaged, but this room wasn't burnt... I looked towards the dining room...I saw blood...my heart sank to my stomach, I wanted to puke, but nothing came out..I decided to investigate it and...I ran towards the mare, I started to tear up and I touched my hoof with a necklace she wore. Instantly, I felt a shock go through me, it didn't hurt, but mostly...felt good...but instantly, my eyes went wide, I held the mare tight, and cried till my eyes turned red...this mare was my mother.. I got off of the mare and picked her body up, I couldn't just leave her there, I knew I couldn't...I set her body down in the back yard..I went to go see if there were any others in here, my mother was the only I could remember. I walked into a master bedroom and saw a stallion, I saw the same necklace on him too, and I went to touch it, but the only feeling I got was..I nearly passed out..but I stayed strong and got up, I cried again, knowing this was my father... I had to bury them, and so I did..I buried them in the backyard, and went back inside the house. I saw a family photo hanging on the wall and I looked up at it, seeing my mother, father, and...a stallion I don't recognize..I grabbed the picture and then I screamed in pain. I ran to a mirror to see what happened, and all I saw was my eyes, just had this green smoke coming out of them, my pupils were red and purple..it felt like I was being controlled, like I had no power over myself..I finally after what seemed like hours...passed out.. Two Hours Later {}{}{}{}{}{}{}{}{}{}{}{}{}{}{}{}{}{}{}{}{}{}{}{}{}{}{}{}{}{}{}{}{}{}{}{}{}{}{}{}{}{}{}{}{}{}{}{}{}{}{}{}{}{}{}{}{}{}{}{}{}{}{}{}{}{}{}{}{} I wake up to my head just throbbing, I try to get up without falling, but that fails many times...I looked around the room, and walked out of the house, my heart aching, seeing my mother and father dead..but then again, I was furious...Princess Luna never told me about my mother, and every time I asked, everything went quiet! I started to walk until I heard something behind me, seeing Luna, I looked up at her. why didn't you ever tell me about my mother and father being dead! "sweetie.." no! don't "sweetie" me! you lied to me! "to protect you!" from what! Just around when I said that, I was ready to break down crying, I couldn't believe that she would lie to me for all of these years...I trusted her, all for nothing.. "I didn't want to have to tell you this but..your brother...was found dead..his body was found in the Ever free forest..killed buy sombra's magic.." I just couldn't speak after that, my hear dying, getting sliced apart piece by piece, my whole family was dead, and I couldn't do anything about it..as she held me close, all I could do is just cry into her neck. Luna took us back to Ponyville, and I was happy to see my friends again, but I didn't know where they were..it started to scare me.. where are my friends..? "they should be back soon, also..cadence would like to talk to you and Fluttershy about your little relationship" oh..uh no thank you.. "love is in bloom" w-what! n-no! I felt so embarrassed because, what a perfect time for my friends to come heading towards us, I had to think of something to hide my blush and I decided to do what I used to do as a filly, I crawled up on Luna's back and hid my face into her neck. I saw a little smile on her face, but also I saw her roll her eyes and giggle, which made things worse for me... As my friends got closer, Rainbow had tackled me and non-stop kept apologizing, but I kept telling her everything is okay, I smiled and hugged her, as we both laugh and I hugged my friends one by one...I smiled until I felt a pony was missing...Fluttershy.. uh...where is Fluttershy at? "Frost.." yeah twilight? "she is right behind you.." I turned around and I blushed from embarrassment...like how could I be so stupid not to notice such a cute pony, I smiled and I hugged her, and never let go, because I didn't want to let go.. hey Fluttershy.. "hello..I am happy you are okay" I am more happy, to see you smile I swear I saw Luna whisper something to the rest of my friends, and they all giggled, which made me blush harder...Fluttershy looked at them, and back at me..but her eyes went wide...I felt wrong for doing this, but I needed to do it..my friends gasped, and their eyes went wide too...I was kissing Fluttershy...
Chapter 1: Where it all beginsThe Life of Frost Bite My Little Pony: Friendship is Magic and all characters used are owned by Hasbro (except for my oc) I remember being a little filly, it was fun because I got to play outside, be with my family, and always see my brother in his Armour. I looked up to my mother and asked her about the Armour. Mommy? "yes sweetie?" what is bwubby wearing? "well sweetie, it protects your brother" I just loved seeing that Armour, just how it shines in the light. I tried putting the Armour on before, but me being a filly, I could almost just hide in the helmet. When my brother and I would play hide and seek, that's the one spot I would always hide at, but he would always find me. bwubby! "how's little frosty?" can chu play hide and seek with me "hehe, sure thing frosty" yay! "go hide and I will count" Once again, I chose to hide in his Armour, but this time, it wasn't his helmet, it was his body Armour. "gotcha!" That would always just scare me, he would pick me up and my parents would always call me weird because I would sit on his head. It was fun, because it would always make me feel like i was the tallest out of every pony in my town, and they all would just laugh, and I laughed too. We were getting ready for dinner, when my brothers mare friend arrived, she was nice to my family and to my brother, but she was nice to me the most, but she would always call me cute, adorable, and a new name for me "Frosty bite". Every night, she would be the one to tuck me in because my parents would go to bed first, she held me till i fell asleep, basically did what my parents would do. The next day, my brother had to go...my parents had explained to me that he was going to leave Equestria, because he had to do something with Princess Luna, honestly, I've always wanted to meet Princess Luna, but my parents really never had the time to take me to Canter lot, I was sad by it, but my parents would always find a way to make me happy, and to get my mind off of it. I loved school, it was fun and I was getting ready for school, but I never really had any friends so it was hard for me to speak to other ponies, I was just too shy. I would also get bullied by these two colts, sometimes I would run away from school back to my home and cry, but the day after. I went back to school and they were making jokes about my brother not coming back home, all I did was fall to the ground crying, but my teacher had enough of it and dragged them back home. Fillies would comfort me, and so would my parents. My teacher asked them about me, and they just decided it would be best for me to be home schooled, but that didn't stop those colts getting shunned, and all the other fillies and colts just hated them, I feel bad for them but my parents tell me not to be. That night, I just cried myself to sleep. I was having nightmares of my brother not coming home, screaming for help. His mare friend was there to hold me and comfort me. She told my parents she would stay with me, and they agreed. I woke up the next morning and my parents were sitting at the end of my bed. I wondered what was wrong and i looked up at them worried. mommy? whats wrong? "well, sweetie..your brother is on a very special mission, and some ponies have to go looking for him" I didn't know what that meant, but I started crying because she knew I was smarter than that, I cried because she was trying to explain in a better way that my brother went missing. My parents and his mare friend tried everything to get me happy again, but I was crying for three days straight. This is the worst day I could ever imagine, plus it's three days until my birthday, I woke up crying today. I was six, when I got the news, now I'm seven. I just want to see my brother again, two soldiers from Luna's army came by today to tell us that they had found no sign of my brother. They saw me running back into my room and felt heart broken. They now him being gone really hit me hard, almost as hard as them, but I wasn't even close to feeling the pain they are feeling. I cried under my pillow, I didn't want to be disturbed, I just wanted to be alone. I heard my door open and I quickly got out of my bed and I hid under my bed, my wings wrapped around me, and I loved to nibble on my hoof, it always calmed me down. "Frosty? Please come out from under your bed, we have a present for you" I was always happy to get presents, but right now I didn't want to come out, but I decided to and what I saw was the best gift I could ever ask for. My parents explained that the soldiers had found my brothers Armour with a note on it. "If anyone finds this Armour, please give it to my sister..." I wasn't big enough to wear it yet, but my parents said the Royal Sisters, were going to keep the Armour in a safe place. I was super happy, because this gave me hope that my brother is truly still alive, that, I will be able to see him again. One Week Later {}{}{}{}{}{}{}{}{}{}{}{}{}{}{}{}}{}{}{}{}{}{}{}{}{}{}{}{}{}{}{}{}{}{}{}{}{}{}{}{}{}{}{}{}{}{}{}{}{}{}{}{}{}{}{}{}{}{}{}{}{}{}{}{}{}{}{}{} My parents woke me up, and I noticed big smiles on their faces. Instantly I felt a smile come on my face and I looked up at them. Mommy, is everything okay? "well sweetie, your dad and I thought it was a good idea to take you to the fair, to make you feel better" REALLY! "yes sweetie" YAY YAY YAY YAY I was super happy, I always wanted to go to the fair, but I wasn't able to because my parents, were always at work and always tired when they come home. I could have gone with my brother's mare friend, but she was too busy baby sitting. Now that I am able to go, I can't stop jumping up and down, I was just very happy. We were walking down the road when we heard screaming, it wasn't a scream of fun, it was a scream of fear. The next thing I know is ponies running away from something, I saw an army enter our village. One stallion knocked me down, and looked down at me, I looked up and screamed.
Chapter 2: Losing Memories, Bringing NightmaresI kept screaming, I was afraid of what the stallion would do to me. I hate the feeling of being hurt, I can't protect myself, and when I try to, I fail at it. Nothing happened, I had my eyes closed, so I couldn't really see what's going on. I opened my eyes, to see my father. He looks down at me and smiles, I'm happy to see him again, I feel m ore safe when I am around my family. I see my mom, and I run up to her, hugging her leg. She had picked me up, and I looked at her. She was shaking with fear, and I started to get worried by it. I hated to see my family scared, I would want to cry every time I see that happen. Mommy, what's happening! "sweetie, all I need you to do is hide in my wings, and close your eyes okay?" o-okay mommy I always listen to my mom, okay maybe not as a younger filly, but ever since I was eight. I hid inside her wings, and shut my eyes, just thinking of good, and happy memories. The next thing I know is, I fell on the ground, I had opened my eyes to see my mother on the ground motionless. I ran up to her, just screaming. MOMMY! She didn't say anything, she just weakly looked up at me and smiled. I wanted to cry, my dad was nowhere to be seen, and all around me, ponies I know in the town are just...I don't want to describe what I had seen, just. They were killed, some of the fillies and colts were getting captured. I looked back at my mom and I started crying, I just couldn't stop crying, but she looked at me and wiped my tears. Her eyes closed and I held her tight, because my dad was gone, my mother was gone, and my brother is missing. I was all alone. Soon enough, everything just went quiet, I heard hoof steps behind me, I was too scared to look back. I felt a hoof touch me and I look up at the stallion. He looks down at me and picks me up with his magic. EEP! HEY! "now. now little one, I won't hurt you" let go of me! "shush little one, everything will be okay" I woke up in a cell, I was scared but don't remember a thing, I tried my best to remember anything, but it felt like I lost all my memories. A stallion walked up to my cell door and smiled down at me. He opened the door up and just put chains on my hooves and pushed me out of the cell, I don't know what he would make me do, but what I had to do was just work, mining gems, but I could never do good work at it because I was too weak. I usually go back to my cell every night with cuts, and a black eye. That was a punishment that Sombra made his soldiers do to us. I hated every bit of it, but if I were to complain. I would get the punishment again. Two Years Later {}{}{}{}{}{}{}{}{}{}{}{}{}{}{}{}{}{}{}{}{}{}{}{}{}{}{}{}{}{}{}{}{}{}{}{}{}{}{}{}{}{}{}{}{}}{}{}{}{}{}{}{}{}{}}{}{}{}{}{}{}{}{}{}{}{}{}{}{} It has been two years and still, no one has come to save us, no even a sign of hope. I wanted to cry, to just leave this place. I talked to no one, didn't have any friends here. I didn't want to talk to anyone, but some of the guards just looked at me. Not with an angry face, disgusted look, just more like a worried look. I was the only one out of all the ponies that were put to work, that would just cry... I remember going to the balcony of the crystal tower and just looking down, I quietly sneaked in without any pony seeing me, I am still surprised how I managed it. I closed my eyes and just. I wanted to jump but, being me, I was caught by a guard pony. Great... "tell me, what are you doing here!" n-nothing s-sir "get back to your bed" I did as I was told, but that doesn't make me stop hating this place. Then again, this is my home, because they ~~provide food~~...okay scratch that. They hardly provide food for us, but they do ~~provide water~~...forget that too. They really didn't give us anything, that's the reason why some of the ponies would die, either from starvation, dehydration, or both. One Week Later {}{}{}{}{}{}{}{}{}{}{}{}{}{}{}{}{}{}{}{}{}{}{}{}{}{}{}{}{}{}{}{}{}{}{}{}{}{}{}{}{}{}{}{}{}{}{}{}{}{}{}{}{}{}{}{}{}{}{}{}{}{}{}{}{}{}{}{}{}{} I woke up feeling terrible, my head was hurting and...everything is quiet. I didn't know why, but I wanted to find out. why is everything so quiet today, jeez it feels like a ghost town... I walked out of my room to find every pony working, and one guards sees me, and does nothing. He just walks away and I just had a smile on my face, because this would be the perfect time to escape. I just need to. OOF! I looked up to see a dark unicorn, his horn was black, but had red in it, his eyes were purple, but had this green smoke coming from them. "Hello, little one. I decided to let you rest, after that little accident you had" little accident? "you don't remember?" I-I don't... "while mining some rocks, you fell over and bumped your little head" o-oh I- "go rest, I will wake you up soon" I decided not to rest, but when I got out of all of their sights, I just ran. I was getting super close to the force field barrier thing, whatever it is called, can't say I fully remember this. The next thing I know is an alicorn is in front of me, but I wanted to scream, but she picked me up and put me on her back. I just smiled because I looked behind her and I saw just an army of bat ponies. I was just amazed, because the last time I seen this, was back at my ho-...yeah..I remember my home, it was destroyed,I didn't remember my family, or anything that relates to them. I started to cry again, but the alicorn spread out her wings and looked up at me. "hold on tight, I wouldn't want you hurt" I held on as tight as I can, but not to the point where I would choke her or anyway. I wasn't ever taught how to fly, which was sad to me because by now lots of ponies I know are starting to fly. I looked down, and I saw how high we were, I jumped back and I instantly started falling. I couldn't stop screaming until the alicorn had caught me. I hugged her tight and smiled, I didn't want to say it, but I couldn't remember who my real mom was. thank you mommy! "you're welcome sweetie" I finally felt happy again, I felt safe, I felt...free. I didn't have to worry about any pony hurting me, I now have a pony to protect me again. Now, I was crying, not because I am sad. No, because I was happy. All this time of waiting, and help finally came. Not just for me, but for all the ponies that were getting hurt, and were feeling pain.
Chapter 3: Starting overWhile the alicorn and I were heading back to Canter lot, we had been talking to each other and I had found out that she was Princess Luna. I was so happy to see her again, because this is getting me closer to remembering my home. All I know about it was, my home was attacked, my brother is missing and...seeing Princess Luna. thank you for saving me mommy "I-I would always save you..." Just the sad look into her eyes...it just made me feel sad, I hated to see her sad, seeing it would hurt my heart. I had hugged her, and didn't let go, and I swear I saw a smile creep on her face. We had made it to Canter lot, the city was just beautiful. I looked down and I saw all of the ponies wearing fancy clothing. Never have I ever worn such fancy clothing, I just feel like I don't deserve to wear it. As we landed I looked at two guard ponies, they were wearing golden Armour. mommy... "yes sweetie?" who are they? "they protect mommy, sweetie" Just every time they would look at me, I would hide in Luna's wings, they wouldn't be worried, sad, they would just laugh. I hated being called cute, I would always blush and just embarrass myself. I was carried to a room, but this room was pretty big. The room was Luna's room, she smiled at me and tucked me into her bed. It was reaching night time, and she had left the room to raise the moon, but I was afraid of the dark, and I had gotten scared really fast. MOMMY I heard hoof steps getting closer to the room quickly, but me being scared, I hid under the blankets. I had always thought that staying under the covers would protect me from anything in the dark. I had felt the blankets move and I screamed because I saw a pony looking down at me. "shh sweetie, I am here...shh..." I-I w-was scared m-mommy Just being in her hooves, her wings wrapped around me, I instantly felt safe again, like nothing could ever hurt me. Two guards had come in the room to see if everything was okay, and Luna told them I was having a nightmare. Well, she was close to telling the truth, but I wouldn't say anything about it, I was just happy she was there to hold me. Two Years Later {}{}{}{}{}{}{}{}{}{}{}{}{}{}{}{}{}{}{}{}{}{}{}{}{}{}{}{}{}{}{}{}{}{}{}{}{}{}{}{}{}{}{}{}{}{}{}{}{}{}{}{}{}{}{}{}{}{}{}{}{}{}{}{}{}{}{}{}{} I was now fourteen, I didn't know the years flew by very fast, I really miss being a filly, because now I have to act like a mare...well technically, I am now a mare. No more being a filly, now I have to do what a mare does, and one of those things I did is ask mom who my real parents are. hey, mom...can..can I ask you a question? "whats wrong sweetie?" who...who are my real parents..? "sweetie, what are you talking about? I am your real mom" but..I remember you saving me from King Sombra and- "sweetie, I wouldn't tell a lie" sorry mom.. I guess she was right, she was my mother, but I had a feeling in my head, just I needed to figure out the truth. I wanted to figure out everything I don't remember. She has been teaching me how to fly, but to me it was a bit sad that I am fourteen and I don't know how to fly... We were on top of a cloud, she was laying down on her back, and I was laying down on her stomach. I got off of her and looked down at her, I felt to myself that I think it was about time I try to fly on my own. In my mind, I was telling myself I was ready to fly, but my gut had said other wise... mommy, I think I am ready to fly on my own "sweetie, are you sure about this?" yes mom.. Well, at first I was doing good, but never listen to your mind, always listen to your gut. I was screaming, because I was now free falling. I tried to scream for my mom, but I wouldn't think she could even hear me, I tried flapping my wings as fast as I can, but I was failing and getting closer to the ground. I was above water, but either way, that would still hurt, because I was told that water is almost as tough as stone, and I have always been afraid of water. MOMMY! HELP ME! "I'M COMING SWEETIE!" I couldn't hear her, because I was screaming too much. I was afraid of death, lots of ponies are, but my hear was beating fast and I just closed my eyes. Instantly, everything had stopped, I opened my eyes and Luna was holding me, I was so happy that she saved me, I couldn't stop hugging her. I was hugging her for about 5 minutes straight, my heart was pumping, fear was just overwhelming me. I didn't say a single word on the way back home, because Luna was angry at me, I honestly don't blame her... "you could have been killed!" I instantly cried after hearing that, I really didn't remember any pony, so really...I was scared to die alone. I tried my best to apologize, but all I did was just cry into her mane. I hated to see my mother mad, and I would do everything to make her happy.. One Year Later {}{}{}{}{}{}{}{}{}{}{}{}{}{}{}{}{}{}{}{}{}{}{}{}{}{}{}{}{}{}{}{}{}{}{}{}{}{}{}{}{}{}{}{}{}{}{}{}{}{}{}{}{}{}{}{}{}{}{}{}{}{}{}{}{}{}{}{}{} I had woken up to a very beautiful day, because birds were chirping, I could see ponies heading off to do their chores and jobs, today I thought would be a perfect day. I got up out of my bed and I did my stretches, I swear every time I do those stretches, I am hearing a popping sound in my back. good morning mom! "good morning, sweetie, I need to talk to you.." what's wrong mom..? "well, sweetie...I know you love it here, and I am happy for that, but I want you to go out and make new friends, I am sure it will help you from being shy all the time" mom, I am terrible with meeting other ponies! I will be called a freak! "you are now just being over dramatic sweetie, I promise if you go and make friends, your life will open to new more fun and excitement, than you have ever experienced before!" okay...I will go find some friends, but where should I go? "how about Ponyville" where? Luna had to teach me some history about Ponyville, I started to find interest in this little town, as she called it. The way she explained it, I would be able to find lots of friends there. I was so happy, but then again, I was sad because I was moving out of my home, away from my mother. On the bright side, I think it is time for me to start my own adventure, make new friends, and have lots of fun. This is going to be a blast.
Chapter 4: New adventureI was standing outside of the castle the Royal Sisters lived in, it was beautiful to see, because it may look big on outside, but its a little smaller on the inside. I saw two guard ponies standing in front of my mother and Aunt Celestia. I had hugged them both and my mother had pulled me back inside to talk, she had to go travel but she wanted to tell me something important. "sweetie, I love you with my heart, is this what you want?" yes mom, I want to explore new places, and like you said, I need to find some friends "well, I cant stop you, because you have turned into a beautiful mare, but I don't want any pony to hurt you" no pony will hurt me mom, I promise I can stand up for myself I started walking off to the train station, I just took a deep breath and of course she had to embarrass me again... "also! don't let stallions jump all over you!" mommmmm! I had this big blush on my face getting on the train, and as the train left. I looked to the seat next to me and I did see this stallion smile at me, and I smiled back. He had walked over and sat at the seat next to me. The way they were staring, it looks like they haven't had a bat pony come to Ponyville before. I was surprised at the though, but when some pony said it, I just said in my head "bingo!". I was walking down the dirt road of the town, but it was turning night, and I really don't have anywhere to stay, I had instantly heard something in the bushes next to the path. I slowly approached it and I saw a yellow ear, oh a pony, but who was this pony. h-hello? "o-oh, s-sorry, please don't hurt me..." I-I won't hurt you, um...n-nice to meet you, m-my name is Frost.. "I-I'm Fluttershy" I just was lost with her, because she was just like me! I was very shy, and I couldn't talk around new people. I sat down next to her and I smiled. The way I would comfort my mother when she was sad is I would wrap one wing around her. I did the same thing with Fluttershy. She just had this cute little smile on her face, it had made my heart just feel almost happy, well....really happy. She honestly is a very adorable pony, I just really cant think to be mad at her, because she looks like the pony you just want to cuddle and ki- I, okay well...anyways I loved spending time with her, and she showed me all around Ponyville, but I haven't really got to meet other ponies. well, Fluttershy, thank you for showing me around, but if it's okay with you, could we be able to meet other ponies "oh, I'm sorry..., I didn't mean to make you bored..." oh no I didn't mean it like that... Nice job Frost, make yourself look like a complete jerk..I never felt so sad in my life as much as this, I just hope that she doesn't hate me for that..I was a bit rude there... She had taken me to a farm, but this farm had a lot more trees, than I had thought. I looked at them all and instantly saw that these are apple trees, my mouth was watering, from things about the apples. Fluttershy had noticed and looked at me but, I really didn't notice that. I went to turn and our muzzles touched, I broke out of my trance and blushed deeply, I got up of my flank and looked at her. s-sorry a-about that, I-I should h-have been looking "n-no i-it was my fault.." When we started walking, we were a little bit separated, I just kept looking at her, but she just looked down the whole way. I felt like a complete jerk...but I had stopped when I saw a barn, I saw Fluttershy walk to a pony, she had the color of orange, almost looking like faded yellow hair, and a cow pony hat? hey Fluttershy, who is she? if you don't mind miss "I will let you both chat" Fluttershy, was walking away, but...I didn't want her to leave, I was having fun spending time with her. I wanted her to stay, but I guess she was busy anyways, which makes it worse.. I had turned back to the farm pony, but she had this teasing smirk on her face, like she knew what was going on. I had gulped and I looked into her eyes. I didn't know what she was going to say, but I was ready for anything she says. w-what..? "mighty nice day out" y-yes it is.. "y'all in love with mah friend" w-what! no! "ah just kiddin sugar cube, mah name's Applejack" I knew she wasn't kidding, but I just hope she really was, because I am not in love with Fluttershy, I just think she is sweet, and...adorable. Fluttershy had come back and Applejack had to get back to work. We left the farm and entered Ponyville again. Fluttershy had taken me to a beautiful looking building, we had entered and this place was covered in amazing, and very beautiful dresses. I started to feel tired, but I tried not to show it, but I failed. I talked with the white unicorn and she has an amazing name "Rarity". I had tried on a few dresses for her, and she says I have the perfect body..I don't know what that means, but I got to have a dress made for me for free! I was so happy, that I hugged her and left. I really didn't have anywhere to stay, and I stopped and tapped on Fluttershy. She was talking to a little bunny, and I didn't want to interrupt her, so I just waited. "is everything okay Frost?" I..I uh well...can I stay at your home for tonight? "of course! I will be happy to let you rest at my home" I felt very happy, but tiredness just completely took that away from me. We had made it back to her home, and I saw lots of animals, a lot of animals, but she took me to a guest bedroom, it looked beautiful, and when I got under the blankets, I felt very comfy, but even though I was a mare, I was still scared of the dark, not as much as I used to, but just a little. I had gotten out of bed, because I couldn't sleep, and I went to Fluttershy's room, and I walked up to her bed, I really didn't want to wake her, but all I did was nuzzle her hoof. I tried to wake her up peacefully, and I succeeded, but I had looked up at her, and she was rubbing her eyes. In my head, I tried to think of a better way to ask this but, I just went for it. h-hey Fluttershy...c-could I sleep next to you...I know it may sound a bit awkward, but I'm a little scared of the dark... "sure Frost, I'll do anything to help a friend" I smiled and I crawled into the bed, I whispered thank you to her, and she tucked us both under the blankets. I wrapped one of my wings around her, to show a sign of protection. I know, because that's what my mother would do back in Canter lot. She would always wrap one wings around me, if I was getting bullied, and they would run away after she did that. A Few Hours Later {}{}{}{}{}{}{}{}{}{}{}{}{}{}{}{}{}{}{}{}{}{}{}{}{}{}{}{}{}{}{}{}{}{}{}{}{}{}{}{}{}{}{}{}{}{}{}{}{}{}{}{}{}{}{}{}{}{}{}{}{}{}{}{}{}{}{}{}{} I woke up, but I was the only one in the bed. I got up and stretched, I went out of the bedroom and made my way downstairs to Fluttershy, Applejack, Rarity, a pink pony I don't know who, and a purple unicorn, that I don't know. I walked fully down the stairs and I hid behind Fluttershy, and they all giggled. I instantly had a blush on my face, and I hated being shy sometimes, everyone either calls me cute, adorable, or just says aww. Fluttershy, Applejack, and Rarity gave the two new ponies and I some privacy and I sat down. h-hi, I'm F-Frost.. "Nice to meet you frost, I am Twilight sparkle" "HIMYNAMEISPINKIEIHAVENTEVERSEENABATPONYBEFOREITSALWAYSGOODTOMEETNEWFRIENDS!" I couldn't understand what she just said, but all I could make out of that is "pinkie", "bat pony", and "friends". So, I just though she wanted to be friends, and I was super happy for it. The worst part about this is, I saw Applejack walk in, with this almost evil smile on her face. Twilight and Pinkie left the room, and she had sat down. I just gulped and watched her, I didn't know what to ask her so I just went and talked. We were talking, and Applejack had brought up that Fluttershy and I were sleeping in the same bed, well I am afraid of the dark and I sleep better with someone with me. When I told her, it did sound kind of weird, but she just laughed and so did I. We all were heading off to ponyville, and they all were talking about a "Rainbow Dash". I don't know who Rainbow Dash is, but I was going to ask them until I saw a Pegasus pony land in front of us. Well, I think I know why they all call her Rainbow dash. She honestly looked pretty amazing, because of how colorful she looked. oh.....uh.....hi.....I'm Frost "hey, I'm the best flyer in Equestria!" I'm guessing you are Rainbow Dash? "the one and only!" I was happy making new friends, because I now felt like I have ponies that will stand up for me, that will protect me, and I will dot the same with them. I was always shy to meet other ponies, but with the help of Fluttershy, I wasn't very shy anymore, I loved making new friends, and spending time with them. I think living here will be absolutely fun! I hope my mother is proud of me, I miss her already.
Chapter 5: Remembering memoriesAnother day waking up inside Fluttershy's home, I loved spending time with Fluttershy, she is fun to be around, and she is just completely adorable. My friends are worried for me though, because I have been avoiding Fluttershy, or so they think. I told them that I haven't but, they just don't believe me...right when I walk out, Applejack is at the door... "hello sugar cube" oh...hey Applejack, what's up? "Rainbow dash was looking fer ya" oh..thank you Applejack.. Pinkie had invited me to Sugar Cube Corner, she said that I will get to have any sweet I want for free but just one, it's for when she makes new friends. I was super happy because, the only time I ever had a sweet was...wait...when was the last time I had a sweet..anyways..I thanked her and I was ready to eat a sweet when I saw Rainbow instantly giving me a death look, and I went pale. "SO YOU THINK YOU CAN ABANDON ONE OF MY FRIENDS HUH!" w-what are you talking about Rainbow? I had started to just tear up, I hated being yelled at, I always just ran away and cried, and that is just what I was gonna do if she kept yelling... "WE HATE YOU! WE DON'T WANT TO SEE YOU AGAIN! YOU ARE A JERK TO FLUTTERSHY!" I...I.. I couldn't take it anymore...I saw the rest of my friends try to tell her that, it wasn't true, she started to calm down, and I looked Fluttershy in her eyes, I just saw her say in her mind. "everything is okay" I just couldn't believe it...I got up and I looked at all of them, Twilight, just walked to me...and looked into my eyes.. "frost...everything is fi-" NO IT ISN'T! I just ran, and I never looked back, I heard them screaming my name, but I din't listen to them, I just kept running, I ran into the Ever free forest, I didn't care if I get attacked, I don't care if I get killed, right now....I want to be gone...gone for what I did... A Few Hours Later {}{}{}{}{}{}{}{}{}{}{}{}{}{}{}{}{}{}{}{}{}{}{}{}{}{}{}{}{}{}{}{}{}{}{}{}{}{}{}{}{}{}{}{}{}{}{}{}{}{}{}{}{}{}{}{}{}{}{}{}{}{}{}{}{}{}{}{}{} I kept running, I really didn't know where I was, but I ran into a village, this village looks like it has been burned down, I walked deeper into the village, until I saw this beautiful home, it was kinda burned, but still livable. I walked inside and I instantly smelled death...I didn't want to be here...but my mind kept telling me to go forward, I decided to follow my mind and I walked into the kitchen, everything was damaged, but this room wasn't burnt... I looked towards the dining room...I saw blood...my heart sank to my stomach, I wanted to puke, but nothing came out..I decided to investigate it and...I ran towards the mare, I started to tear up and I touched my hoof with a necklace she wore. Instantly, I felt a shock go through me, it didn't hurt, but mostly...felt good...but instantly, my eyes went wide, I held the mare tight, and cried till my eyes turned red...this mare was my mother.. I got off of the mare and picked her body up, I couldn't just leave her there, I knew I couldn't...I set her body down in the back yard..I went to go see if there were any others in here, my mother was the only I could remember. I walked into a master bedroom and saw a stallion, I saw the same necklace on him too, and I went to touch it, but the only feeling I got was..I nearly passed out..but I stayed strong and got up, I cried again, knowing this was my father... I had to bury them, and so I did..I buried them in the backyard, and went back inside the house. I saw a family photo hanging on the wall and I looked up at it, seeing my mother, father, and...a stallion I don't recognize..I grabbed the picture and then I screamed in pain. I ran to a mirror to see what happened, and all I saw was my eyes, just had this green smoke coming out of them, my pupils were red and purple..it felt like I was being controlled, like I had no power over myself..I finally after what seemed like hours...passed out.. Two Hours Later {}{}{}{}{}{}{}{}{}{}{}{}{}{}{}{}{}{}{}{}{}{}{}{}{}{}{}{}{}{}{}{}{}{}{}{}{}{}{}{}{}{}{}{}{}{}{}{}{}{}{}{}{}{}{}{}{}{}{}{}{}{}{}{}{}{}{}{}{} I wake up to my head just throbbing, I try to get up without falling, but that fails many times...I looked around the room, and walked out of the house, my heart aching, seeing my mother and father dead..but then again, I was furious...Princess Luna never told me about my mother, and every time I asked, everything went quiet! I started to walk until I heard something behind me, seeing Luna, I looked up at her. why didn't you ever tell me about my mother and father being dead! "sweetie.." no! don't "sweetie" me! you lied to me! "to protect you!" from what! Just around when I said that, I was ready to break down crying, I couldn't believe that she would lie to me for all of these years...I trusted her, all for nothing.. "I didn't want to have to tell you this but..your brother...was found dead..his body was found in the Ever free forest..killed buy sombra's magic.." I just couldn't speak after that, my hear dying, getting sliced apart piece by piece, my whole family was dead, and I couldn't do anything about it..as she held me close, all I could do is just cry into her neck. Luna took us back to Ponyville, and I was happy to see my friends again, but I didn't know where they were..it started to scare me.. where are my friends..? "they should be back soon, also..cadence would like to talk to you and Fluttershy about your little relationship" oh..uh no thank you.. "love is in bloom" w-what! n-no! I felt so embarrassed because, what a perfect time for my friends to come heading towards us, I had to think of something to hide my blush and I decided to do what I used to do as a filly, I crawled up on Luna's back and hid my face into her neck. I saw a little smile on her face, but also I saw her roll her eyes and giggle, which made things worse for me... As my friends got closer, Rainbow had tackled me and non-stop kept apologizing, but I kept telling her everything is okay, I smiled and hugged her, as we both laugh and I hugged my friends one by one...I smiled until I felt a pony was missing...Fluttershy.. uh...where is Fluttershy at? "Frost.." yeah twilight? "she is right behind you.." I turned around and I blushed from embarrassment...like how could I be so stupid not to notice such a cute pony, I smiled and I hugged her, and never let go, because I didn't want to let go.. hey Fluttershy.. "hello..I am happy you are okay" I am more happy, to see you smile I swear I saw Luna whisper something to the rest of my friends, and they all giggled, which made me blush harder...Fluttershy looked at them, and back at me..but her eyes went wide...I felt wrong for doing this, but I needed to do it..my friends gasped, and their eyes went wide too...I was kissing Fluttershy...
