Broken Bumper

Timidthy woke up the next morning he got up and rubbed his eye’s. He was about to pull out his brush until he saw Bumper. A bright smile came on his face that would bring Pinkie's smiles to shame. He saw Bumper hugging his plushie, as the former unicorn was sleeping. Timidthy took a deep breath and calmed himself as he got an idea and quickly got himself ready to go outside once again.

When Bumper woke up he shuttered realizing he was holding his plushie. But he didn’t let go of it, if he was being honest with himself, he didn’t want to. Bumper looked around and saw Timidthy was gone. The former unicorn couldn’t help but wonder where his friend was. Fortunately for Bumper he got his answer as the door opened at that exact moment. Timidthy came into the room with a broad smile on his face.

Then the former alicorn took a deep breath once again, he then spoke. Once he was sure that he was calm,

“I’m proud of you.” Bumper smiled. As blush spread on his face,

“Thanks!” He said. Timidthy then hugged Bumper after a moment the boy’s separated and just sat by each other.

“Let me guess you had a nightmare?” Timidthy said, Bumper blushed redder.

“Yeah. You we’re asleep and I saw the plushie so I thought…..why not at least try. And….I felt better.” He said,

“Well I know something that will probably make this the best day ever.” Timidthy said.

“Really? And what would that be?” Bumper asked, the prince of therapy gained a smug grin.

“The portal is back up.” Timidthy said,

“Really!?” Bumper replied.

“Yep. I ran into Sunset and she told Twilight had written her and that we could go home at any time.” Timidthy said, his best bud put his plushie to the side and got up.

“Give me ten minutes! I wanna see my parents again!” Bumper said, the prince smiled feeling the exact same way.

The mane seven, Timidthy, and Bumper we’re now back at the school. By the portal, the prince had his therapy back in his grasp. And Bumper had his Chinami in his hands,

“Remember if you guy’s want to come back just call us up.” Sunset said.

“Oh I’m sure we’ll never come here again!” Bumper said in an inappropriately cheerful voice, Timidthy elbowed him in the ribs.

“Bumper.” He said,

“Don’t worry we completely understand. After all the crazy stuff that happened to you two. It’s understandable.” Rainbow said.

“Well I guess this is good-bye until next time.” Timidthy said,

“See ya!” Bumper said. And the mane seven watched as Timidthy and Bumper went through the portal.

When Bumper and Timidthy got back they instinctively got back on all four hooves. And used their magic to hold their items, before Timidthy could even get his surroundings a look. Sweet Dreams tackled him, and she said.

“Timidthy! Tu m'as tellement manqué! Ne me faites pas peur comme ça!” She then kissed Timidthy causing the prince to blush madly. Bumper rolled his eye’s and was about to say a witty comment. Until he was dragged into a bear hug by his fillyfriend,

“There you are! I missed you so much! So how are ya feelin? Did Timidthy help you? Did you get hurt?” French Press said.

“Frenchy I know your happy to see me but if you hug me ant tighter I think my ribs will break.” Bumper said, French Press let go just as Sweet Dreams released her grip on Timidthy. The prince got up and dusted himself off before looking at the group in front of him. All of his friends, family and personal royal guard’s was there. Blood Bones flew in between Bumper and Timidthy. He then dragged the two close with his wings,

“Alright I just have to say it’s great to have you two knuckleheads back.” He said.

“I agree I must admit it was a bit lonely in the castle without you.” Luna said,

“Speaking of castles all of Canterlot is sure to throw a party for your return.” Celestia said. Timidthy blushed redder, ‘Oh boy a formal party with Canterlot snobs and nobles who will be judging me.’ He thought.

“That sounds….interesting.” Timidthy said,

“Oh and sorry about getting you trapped on the other side of the portal.” Twilight said nervously.

“It’s cool no hard feelings.” Bumper said, French Press smiled.

“Seriously Tim how do you do it?” She asked, Timidthy smiled.

“Easy I treat my patients with kindness and understanding.” He said,

“Now come in you two the sooner we get to Canterlot the sooner we can celebrate!” Meadow said and Bumper and Timidthy followed them. Ready to see their home town again.

That night when the party was just ending Timidthy was out on the castle balcony. He was fully exhausted as he looked up at the stars. He was about to fall asleep until he heard hoofsteps coming towards him. Timidthy didn’t even need to look to see who it was as Bumper sat right next to him. He look equally exhausted,

“I’m so glad to be home.” Bumper said. Timidthy giggled,

“Same. What are ya going to tomorrow?” He said.

“Oh ya know just try to relax a day before I go on thousands of dates with French Press. And train for being a guard twenty-four seven.” Bumper said, “You?” Timidthy smiled.

“Heading to Canterlot mental hospital.” He said, Bumper rolled his eye’s.

“Of course. Well I better get going I have a feeling that I’m gonna need my sleep. Ya know just in case my plans change.” Bumper said as he made his way back into the castle.

“Alright seeya later Banpā.” Timidthy said, Bumper stopped in his tracks. As red flush came to his face,

“Clever boy.” Bumper said before he left. Timidthy laughed as he made his way to his own bed. And both colts we’re very happy. Bumper’s sushi problem was mostly under control. Timidthy had succeeded in what could be his biggest challenge yet. And they were back home. Life was back to normal for both.
