'Til Death do us Part
Chapter 2: The Special Day
Previous ChapterNext ChapterNow that you know the basics about me, how about we fast forward to the best part in my life?
...
It was just another bright warm morning that dear Celestia had brought down to the ponies of Ponyville, many of which were outside enjoying the weather or rushing about the shops to get their errands done early. I had been galloping gleefully about to Twilight's to see about learning a bit more magic other than just the ability to play the lyre.
As I was running past everypony with my agility, something caught my eye. My swift hooves gave up on me and let me bash horn-first into a picnic table outside of Sugarcube Corner. My vision went blurry and I blacked out.
When I awoke, there it was. Towering above me was the sweetness that had caught me off guard.
I quickly fumbled myself about trying to regain balance, but it was no use. I let myself have one last clumsy fall before asking for help. As my dirty face was buried into the ground carelessly but one last time, I heard a cute giggle. I lifted my head dizzily and looked around. A hoof extended out to where I could reach it.
I looked up, a humble-looking pony swirling all around. I set a hoof onto their's and pushed down on it, giving myself enough force to pull myself up. After a bit of standing and letting myself settle down, I set my flank on the ground and looked at the creature. It began to speak sweet words.
"Hello, there! Are you alright?"
The voice sounded rather girly. I tried speaking, but only a jumbled mess came out of my mouth.
"Hehe.. Well.. allow me to introduce myself. My name is Bon Bon, and I'm great at making sweet candies!" Bon Bon set a hoof on my shoulder as she spoke.
"M-my.. name's.." My head just swirled about, I could not think straight. Was such a beautiful pony talking to a rather drab pony like me?
The beauty laughed again, a tiny snort hidden within her giggle. I smile awkwardly at her, being so swooned it was hard to concentrate. I began just hyperventilating.
Bon Bon pulled me into a hug, petting my back to try to get me to calm down.
"There, there. It'll be okay.. Would you allow me to take you home so you can get some rest?"
Without any response of mine, she nipped onto the side of my neck and threw me on her back. She began an even trot. I smiled hazily and looked around, trying to remember where I lived. She eventually found my house, ignoring my misleading directions. Bon Bon grasped the handle in between her teeth and opened the door.
My house was rather dark, for I had forgotten to open all of my blinds and curtains. Bon Bon carried me up the stairs and located my room, trotting over to my bed. She carefully laid me down and went over to lie on a nearby couch in my room...
