Saw: The Pony Archives (Chapter 1)
The young colt’s eyes snapped open, only to be met with pitch blackness. He looked around in the dark, his breathing quick, “Hello? Anyone there? Somepony help me!” He screamed, trying to free himself from the shackles that held him down to a table he couldn’t even see. He had no idea why he was here, but only knew that something wasn’t right. He continued thrashing about as best as he could, his wings unable to move, maybe they were shackled down too? Who knows. But something terrible was about to happen, he could feel it deep in his gut.
His sight was worthless in the pitch black, and all he could smell was blood and rust, which only made him even more terrified of what happened to him or what was GOING to happen to him. Before he could let out another terrified shreak, the room suddenly lit up. Above him, a few large hanging lamps turned on, illuminating the room. He looked around a bit more, and his fears were only then realized. He was shackled to an old, rusty metal slab. He looked below his back hooves and saw something that stopped his heart cold, it was a table saw blade, rusty like the table. He screamed again, “Help me!” He knew that thrashing around was worthless, so he just layed still on the table,staring at the blade.
He just layed there for a good minute, panting and staring at the table, his eyes open wide from both fear and shock. Then, there was a loud static sound from his left, which caused him to look. An old television had turned on next to him, revealing a white doll with red, spiraled cheeks, staring at him from the TV set. The doll then spoke, with a deep, gravelly voice that only made him more scared than he already was, “Hello, Jimmy,” said the voice, “I want to play a game.”
The colt took a deep gulp and just stared at the doll, panting hard. The doll continued, “For years, you have done nothing for your friends but lie and cheat, and for what cause? To fuel your own drug addiciton. You have torn apart your own family, and your own life. You are a worthless wreck of a stallion, and as such, I shall test you.” The colt gulped again and began to shake as a shiver went through his spine. A test? What kind of test? The doll, yet again, continued, “Below you is a saw blade, attached to a pulley system. Once this tape end, the saw will start spinning and inching it’s way up towards you. You will have two and a half minutes to escape before it begins cutting you in two. But how must you escape? By pushing your back hooves into those spiked paddles below,” The pony looked at his back hooves, and sure enough, there were two,= rusty paddles, covered in tiny nails and spikes, “Once you push them far enough, the saw will drop below the table and cut the shackles that bind you to your doom. Live or die, make your choice…”
And then, the TV shut off, leaving him in the silence of the room.
Jimmy began to panic, thrashing around again as he let out a groan of anger and fear, “Let me go, you asshole!” But his words were cut short as the saw began to spin, the sound almost tearing his ear drums apart as he began figeting a bit, the saw slowly sliding up the table towards him at a snail’s pace. He gulped again and watched as the saw inched it’s way up. Taking a deep breath, his slowly began to push his back hooves into the paddles, screaming as the pain of several sharp spikes driving their way into his flesh began to creep up his hooves. He knew he had to get through the pain, or he would be dead in a matter of moments.
He clenched his teeth and began pushing his hooves farther and farther into the paddles, hearing it slowly click as it moved back, getting farther and farther away as the saw was now just moments from his stomach. He screamed as loud as he could and shoved his back appendages outwards, pushing the paddle even further back. Why wasn’t it working? It should have been done by now. His thoughts were interupted yet again as a new pain shot through him, making him look down at the blade, which was now cutting it’s way into his crotch. That was it, he was done for. He stopped pushing the paddles and screamed some more, the screams now ever more blood curdling and pain filled as the saw began cutting even deeper into him, a soft splat being heard as his small intestine was cut out and thrown at the wall. Then went his bladder, then his stomach, and after a few minutes, his heart. Then, Jimmy was dead. The last thing he saw was his spleen sliding down the wall, leaving a bloody trail in it’s path.
The saw slowly came to a stop as his body slid off the table in two parts, each slipping out of the chains that held them and plopping down onto the floor in bloody piles. The light slowly began to dim back out, as if to close the curtain on this act of "The Jigsaw Killer's" scheme. Who was going to be next? Who knows. But then again, who exactly IS "The Jigsaw Killer?"
Well, that will all be explained in due time. The story of John Kramer, or "The Jigsaw Killer" is a mixture of sad, and maybe a tad bit crazy. John Kramer seemed to have a decent life. He had a wife, and was expecting a foal too. Everything seemed so perfect, but not every tale has a happy ending. John Kramer has cancer, and only had about a year to live before it finally killed him. This gave him time to think, and to see something he never really noticed before.
John saw ponies go through their normal lives, not having a care in the world and not even caring for themselves in any way. They had NO idea how valuable their lives were to not only them, but to others. This infuriated the cancer ridden stallion, and he hatched a plan. He was going to test them, and see if they really did deserve to live or not. Be it rapists, child molesters, murderers, drug abusers, or just an average Joe. He was going to test them all and show them what their lives truly meant to them.
