Author's Note
This is my first story, I'm very open to criticism. Please point out any grammar/spelling errors.
Prologue
Twilight's Castle was filled with sounds of hoofsteps. The Purple Alicorn was organizing her checklists, checklist checklists and checklists for her checklist checklists. Twilight lightly yawned, she didn't get much sleep that night and the coffee wasn't quite doing the trick.
"Twilight, you really should take a nap." The Baby Dragon insisted.
"Once we've finished organizing." Twilight told Spike, patting him on the head.
"But you're exhausted!" He exclaimed.
"I know, Spike. I just want to get done before I get some rest."
The Baby Dragon nodded and hugged the Alicorn. Twilight rolled her eyes and gave a sweet smile. They stepped into the main hall, in-which the Cutie Map stood.
"I need to sort a few things in this room too."
It was a boiling, summer day. The streets of Ponyville were at their hottest this time of year. Ponies relaxed in the shade and rubbed sunscreen into their bodies. Princess Celestia's sun blazed across all of Equestria.
Twilight heard a knock on the large, metal doors.
"Spike, could you get that for me?" She said as she sorted through her letters, notes and additional checklists.
The Dragon walked up to the door and peeked through the letterbox. He noticed a familiar-looking Pink Pony behind the door.
"Twilight, I think you have a visitor."
