It was a very hot day in Canterlot. Dragon or not, Spike still felt like he was melting. Celestia and Spike had left the hospital and are now on their way to the castle.

"Hey Celestia, I just noticed, were did my gauntlet go? Spike asked, inspecting his wrist.

"You still have it, but its on your human form." Celestia said.

Spike stopped looking at his wrist and then looked around. They were surrounded by guards escorting them. Dozens of ponies were whispering and staring at him. He had never felt so small before. Even the guards were glancing at him.

"It's okay Spike, They've just never seen a dragon before." Celestia said trying to comfort Spike.

"Somehow, I don't think that's the case.” Spike said.

Soon they were at the castle, and made their way inside. As they walked, guards saluted them, and maids bowed. Spike and Celestia arrived at a giant door, but stopped when they heard a voice.

"Auntie Celestia, who is this" said a feminine voice. Spike then turned to see where the voice came from. There was an alicorn with pink fur. She had purple, white, and pink in her main and tail.

"Cadence this is Spike. If you follow me I will explain, don't worry Spike can be trusted." Celestia said warmly.

"Oh, so your Mi Amore Cadenza. I am Spike nice to meet you." Spike said with a smile and a slight bow.

"If Auntie Celestia trusts you then so will I. Yes I am Mi Amore Cadenza, but please call me Cadence." Cadence replied happily.

"Now to introduce you to Luna." Celestia said opening the big door. As the door opened Spike saw two thrones. One was gold with symbols of the sun and another was dark blue with symbols of the moon. Sitting on the moon throne was another alicorn. She had dark blue fur, and her main was flowing like Celestia's except it had a constellation of stars.

"Lulu, I'm back!" Celestia exclaimed with joy. "This is Spike, the boy I've told you about."

"Ah, this is him, I thought you said he was taller." Luna said eyeing up the boy." He's very handsome."

"No Luna, Spike is not your plaything. He is my son." Celestia said tuning to the boy to see him looking at the floor. He had his fist clenched hard, and still didn't know what to make of everything. She quickly realized what she said and embraced the boy. “I’m sorry Spike, but like I said you are family now. I will not force you to call me mom. Take all the time you need." Spike just stood there still not sure of his emotions. Luna and Cadence's jaw hit the floor.

After composing herself Cadence spoke. "Well I for one, think he will make a great addiction to the family. Especially considering Blueblood." Cadence spoke annoyed just by the name.

"Ye I do hope he is better than Blueblood. Anyways welcome to the family." Luna said walking to the boy and embracing him, soon followed by Cadence. After a while they let go.

"Good now that the introductions are over, let’s all go have lunch." Celestia suggested, while everyone agreed. “Then it’s settled, Girls lets go get ready. Spike, I will have a Guard show you to your quarters." With that, Celestia called a guard, and one came almost immediately." Show Spike to his room while we prepare and bring him back here in an hour." Celestia commanded. The guard did as he was instructed and led Spike though the castle. While they walked thought the castle, Spike heard 2 male voices arguing.

"I swear, I killed 3 Timberwolves with one arrow, It's True!"

"Yea right, I've never even seen you pick up a bow. There's no way you did that."

When the two voices came into view Spike saw that there were two stallions who both had white fur. They both were unicorns. One of the stallions had a blue main and tail while the other had blond. The one with the blue, noticed the dragon.

"Well, who's this?"

"I don't know. What's your name kid?"

"I am Spike, what's your name?" Spike asked the two.

"I'm Blueblood, a pleasure to meet you." The one with the blond mane and tail said.

"Name's Shining Armor." The other said.

"Well excuse me, I have to get ready to have lunch with the princesses." Spike said tuning to walk away.

Shining and Blueblood looked at each other as if to say something but didn't. “Oh okay, see you there." Shining armor said.

"Alright ,Wait What!?" Spike said in confusion, but before he could turn around they teleported away. Spike just sighed and continued on. Soon he reached his room, it was very open. It had a master bed with red sheets. The room also had a few cabinets.

"This is your room. I will be outside the room, let me know when you are ready and we will meet up with the princesses." The guard said as he took his place beside the entrance.

"Thank you. I won’t be long." Spike said shutting the door. He then preceded to walk to the bed and just laid in it as he thought to himself."Mom and Dad are dead. Celestia has taken me in and I have no idea of what to do now." Just there was a knock at the door.

“Sir, we need to leave now or else we will be late." The guard said. Spike got up from the bed and went to the door.

“Sorry, I must have dozed off." Spike apologized as he opened the door." Are we meeting them in the same room?" Spike asked.

“Yes please follow me." Spike did as the guard ordered. They went down the hallway and back to the throne room where the the princesses, Shining armor, and Blueblood was waiting.

"Ah there you are, we've been waiting." Celestia said.

"Yea sorry, I dozed off." Spike apologized.

"Its fine, anyway I think you meet these two" Celestia motioned to the stallions.

"Yep, Shining armor and Blueblood."

"Yes and I told them about you. You can get to know them more at lunch. Lets hurry up, I'm starving." Celestia said rushing everyone.

As they left the castle to have lunch at a place picked by Luna called Donuts Joe's, Spike began talking to the guys.

"So, you're captain of the royal guard?" Spike asked.

"Yea, it’s boring. Nothing ever happens. So far, the only thing that's ever happened was at Cadence's and I's wedding." Shining Sighed.

"You two are married?" Spike questioned

"Yea, the basted got married before me." Blueblood added.

"That's because you’re a jerk to all mares." Shining shot back. Before Blueblood could retort Celestia spoke up.

"We're here." Celestia said with joy. They entered the shop to be greeted by by a happy Doughnut Joe.

"Hello again Princess. I guessing you all want the usual." Doughnut Joe asked.

"Yes Please, Spike go up and order something. I know you’re hungry." Celestia giggled. Spike walked up to the counter and looked at the board to think about his order.

"What can I get you pal." Doughnut Joe asked.

“I’ll have two number 9s, A number 9 large, A Number 6 with extra cream, A Number 7, Two number 45s, One with sprinkles, and a large Soda." Spike ordered. All the jaws in the shop hit the floor.

"You all think that's bad. You should see him when he's starving." Celestia giggled.

"I'll get that ready for you sir." Doughnut Joe said composing himself, as did everyone else.

“After we eat we'll head back to the castle." Celestia said to Spike, while picking a booth to eat at. Soon Doughnut Joe came around the corner with the biggest order he'd ever made.
