A Day in the life of Spike (Vore)
A Bad Day in the Life of Spike
Previous ChapterPonyville was as lively as ever. The sun was shining high above the town as the morning was slowly turning into noon, the markets were busy and foals ran through the streets, a usual Sunday for the town that had near apocalyptic events monthly and hungry, hungry ponies.
Spike smiled as he walked around the edges of town, away from the main hustle and bustle, not caring where he was headed as he enjoyed the morning walk on this day off.
Spike looked around, several ponies waving to him and wishing him a good day, one or two licking their lips and wiggling their eyebrows up and down. It just made him realise how long ago he found out to be a ‘vore’ dragon, a full year. Since then, his life had gone through another interesting faze once again. After that debacle with the girls and hiding away in Applebloom’s stomach, they had cut down on their voracious tendencies. Spike had no issue becoming a quick snack, he knew the girls were hungry ponies, but they all asked him if he was fine with it first before gulping him up.
Of course, in a town this small, news could spread fast, especially if Pinkie Pie knew the news. Word of Spike’s ability to come back from the belly led to a few ponies around town asking Spike if they could eat him. At first he was slightly unsure about letting ponies outside his circle of friends and family eat him, but he eventually decided there was no harm in it. So know every once in a while somepony in town would ask Spike if they could eat him, and he’d either say yes or no.
“Spike! Spike!”
Spike stopped his mild nostalgia trip as Cheerilee walked up to him.
“Oh hey Cheerilee, how are you?” Spike asked.
“I’m doing very well Spike. I want to thank you with helping me with the biology demonstration on the digestive system on Friday. The class seemed to be very interested and they’re very excited for another one.” Cheerilee said.
“No problem Cheerilee, happy to help.” Spike said.
“Still, I didn’t know that you could be so fattening.” Cheerilee said, patting her small potbelly, Spike laughing a little at the sight.
“Yeah, forgot to mention that sorry.” Spike apologised, rubbing the back of his head.
“That’s okay,” Cheerilee said, giggling into her hoof, “Well I should be heading off, thanks again Spike.” Cheerilee said as she walked away.
“See ya Cheerilee.” Spike said, saying goodbye before going back on his merry way.
Coming from her mansion, Spoiled Rich walked towards town with a look of disdain on her face. She would usually send a servant or something to sort things out in town to stay away from those lesser than ponies. Unfortunately, the school board had called a meeting to discuss a possible new curriculum by the EEC at town hall, so she had to go.
A loud rumble erupted from her belly, the rich mare having slept in had no time to make herself fully presentable and eat breakfast, so she choose the former. Her appearance a priority over hunger.
As she mumbled and groaned on about going to this stupid meeting, she heard something ahead of her, lowering her head so her snout was not in the air, she saw Spike and Cheerilee having a conversation. Normally she wouldn’t care what the common pony would discuss, but she had heard rumors around some of her colleagues and decided to eavesdrop slightly.
Once Cheerilee had walked off, Spoiled Rich glanced at the dragon in interest, it seemed the rumours she had heard was correct. Her belly growled again demanding food, and her social standing made her no newbie when it came to devouring others. Her slightly large rear was proof enough she had down a few servants she wasn’t satisfied in. As she watched the dragon walk towards her, a dark grin grew on her face, licking her lips as she approached the carefree dragon.
Spike started to whistle to himself, looking up in the sky as he saw a rainbow blur speed past, clouds disappearing in seconds as the sky was cleared up from yesterday’s forecast. He let out a sigh as he felt the morning breeze flow across his scales, before he suddenly bumped into somepony and fell on his back.
“Ow! Sorry about that, i wasn’t looking where I was-ah!” Spike felt something push down on his chest hard, pushing air out of his lungs and holding him down. He looked at his chest to see a pink hoof pushing him down, and traced it back up to the heavily makeup coated face of Spoiled Rich.
“Hello. Your Princess Twilight assistant correct? Spork was it?” She said with a fake smile.
“Um, It’s Spike actually.” Spike corrected.
“Right, Spine, my mistake. I was hoping you could help me with a dire issue.” Spoiled Rich continued.
“Cool, but could you get your hoof off my chest?” Spike asked.
“You see, I had to skip breakfast this morning because I have a very important meeting in town. So I am simply famished, and I overhead how you helped...that mare a few days ago, as well as some rumors floating around work. So would you be a good little colt and help me with my dilemma?” Spoiled Rich said, ignoring Spike’s request and lowering her face so it was closer to Spike’s, giving him a smug look.
“You want...to eat me?” Spike asked with a raised eyebrow.
“In simple terms, yes. So, shall we begin?” Spoiled asked.
“Yeah, no. I’m not going to help you.” Spike said, grabbing Spoiled’s hoof and lifting it off his chest. Suddenly Spike’s got winded as two hooves slammed down onto his chest, Spoiled Rich’s friendly face turning into anger in a matter of moments.
“That wasn’t a request lizard.” Spoiled said, glaring down at the dragon.
“Hey! Let me go!” Spike yelled, trying to get out from underneath Spoiled’s hooves.
“Will you be quite? Food doesn’t talk.” She said, opened her mouth wide.
“Help! Somepony!” Spike yelled, staring at the heavily saliva coated maw get closer and closer to his face catching a whiff of her digested oats and exotic fruity breathe. “Please! Don’t-”
Spike’s protests were muffled as Spoiled Rich wrapped her lips around the dragons face. She gave the face a lick, and moaned in pleasure, her hooves putting less pressure on Spike’s chest but her body slumped on top of Spike, making it even harder for him to escape from Spoiled Rich’s grasp.
Spoiled Rich’s lips quickly wrapped themselves around all of Spike’s head, trapping it inside her maw as Spike’s face was double coated in saliva, the tongue assaulting his face harshly, sometimes slapping him across the face.
This was no concern to her, as this was just another meal for her. Spoiled Rich pushed Spike’s arms against his body before she fell back onto her rump, holding onto her meal tightly making the trip a lot more uncomfortable for Spike. She slowly swallowed and shoved Spike in without a care for his well being, the dragon’s head getting engulfed by the pulsating throat that craved him desperately, the outline of his screaming face could be seen in her throat.
Spoiled Rich sucked Spike’s torso in with slow and small swallows, the higher society mare moaning at Spike’s taste, and wanted to savour as much of it as she possibly could. She lapped at Spike’s shoulders, before reached back and licking the green spines, her tongue wrapping around each bump before moving onto the next. She used her tongue to grab one spine and start to pull Spike it, making Spike wince in pain as his spine was harshly pulled in by Spoiled.
“Please, let me go!” Spike yelled, but his plea for freedom simply bounced off the throat walls, coming out only as a muffled jumble of noises to the outside word as Spoiled licked his fingers, slurping each digit into her widening maw. She coated each in a thick layer of saliva, before she swallowed once more, sending Spike’s shoulders and arms inside the throat, leaving only his tail end and two stubby legs outside the mouth to kick wildly.
Spoiled chest bulged out as Spike was stuck halfway in the throat, his face inches away from the stomach entrance, which seemed to be winking fast, wanting to satisfy it’s hunger already. Spoiled gave Spike’s soft underbelly a good licking, savouring that delicious taste he had before swallowing once more, leaving only the tip of Spike’s tail hanging out of her mouth. She grinned evilly as her tongue wrapped around the tip, slurping the tail inside. She threw head back, and with a loud ‘GLURK’, Spike had been fully swallowed.
Spoiled Rich let out a sigh, enjoying the sensation as Spike was dumped inside her belly, the stomach growing rather largely as Spike entered the stomach all at once. Spoiled Rich smirked to herself, giving her stomach a few pats.
“Well, that was certainly a delectable meal. You had quite the flavour Sparks.” Spoiled Rich said, her stomach becoming wildly active as Spike started to push and punch the stomach walls, releasing some of the air trapped inside Spoiled.
“BBBRRRAAAPPPP! Oh pardon me! I didn’t know you could give me such gas...eh, worth it.” Spoiled Rich shrugged, humming a tune to herself as she walked towards her meeting while Spike continued to struggle.
“Blah blah blah tax credit blah blah blah nobility blah blah blah.”
Celestia was not a fan of meetings. Especially with those that had to much money but thought they didn’t have enough money. It was almost always the same speech with the same issues that weren’t really issues just the whines of a spoilt number of ponies.
She was practically ready to fall asleep during this presentation, a hoof held her head up to make sure she didn’t fully pass out. She let out a sigh, her eyes trailing elsewhere as she feared if she listened to anymore prabble this unicorn said she would not be awake to lower the sun.
Suddenly, the smashing of a window broke her out of her drowsy state. She looked up to see a grey pegasus laying dazed on the floor, the unicorn noble looking at his broken presentation in shock and horror. Guards drew their spears and approached the pegasus but Celestia raised a hoof telling them to stand down.
The grey pegasus shook her head, revealing her two golden eyes that looked in completly different directions.
“Letter for Princess Celestia!” Derpy said, pulling a letter out of her saddlebags with her mouth. She fly up to the throne and presented the letter, which Celestia gracefully accepted with her magic.
“Thank you Derpy, here’s a tip.” Celestia said, levitating a few bits into Derpy’s saddlebags.
“Thank you Princess! This should be enough to buy myself a muffin!” She said, saluting Celestia before flying out of another window, smashing it.
“Looks like we’ll have to get those windows repaired again…”Celestia said, opening the scroll and proceeding to read the contents.
Dear Celestia
Something’s wrong with Spike. He came back home to the castle crying. I asked him what was wrong but her just ran into his bedroom. Me and Starlight have tried to coax him out but he refuses to let anypony and just tells us to go away. I’m not sure what to do, maybe he’ll open up to us if you’re there. Please respond as soon as possible.
From Twilight Sparkle
Celestia rolled the parchment back up, the drowsiness and tiredness in her eyes replaced with a serious look.
“Guards, cancel all my appointments for the day. Sir, I deeply apologise but I cannot listen to the rest of your presentation.” Celestia said, the guards saluting while the unicorn continued to weep for his broken statistics. Celestia’s horn glowed gold as she prepared a teleportation spell. Screw her appointments, she had a baby dragon to help.
She teleported herself in a golden flash into Twilight’s castle appearing outside a wooden door where an alicorn and a unicorn stood outside worried.
“I came as soon as I got your letter Twilight. What seems to be the matter?” Celestia asked.
“Oh Celestia thank, um, you that your here.” Starlight Glimmer said. The crazed cult leader turned friendship student had moved a few months ago. She had developed a pretty good friendship with Spike, being added to the list of ponies that could snack on him if they asked. She had sampled her friend more than a few times, thankful she decided to turn a new leaf and enjoy a tasty treat on the way.
“I don’t know. Spike’s just came back crying like I wrote in the letter. We’ve tried to get him to tell us what happened but he hasn’t said a word! We’ve haven’t gone in case he wants some privacy but I don’t know exactly!” Twilight explained with a worried look as she begged her former mentor for help.
Celestia looked at the bedroom door, walking up to it she could hear the soft whimpers and sniffles of Spike inside. She raised a hoof and quietly knocked on his door three times.
“Spike, It’s Celestia. Can we come in?” She asked with a motherly tone.
There was a brief silence for a while, no noise emitted from the bedroom, causing Twilight and Starlight to glance at each other worried.
“C-Celestia..?” Spike softly spoke from inside the room.
“Yes it’s me Spike. Can we come in? Twilight and Starlight are worried to bits about you right now and so am I.” Celestia said again.
“...O-Okay, y-y-you c-c-can c-c-come…” Spike couldn’t finish that sentence before he burst into tears once again.
Wasting no time, Celestia opened the bedroom door, allowing Twilight and Starlight to rush in behind her and towards the bed. Celestia looked down on the purple bed to see the baby dragon curled up in a ball, his back facing her as he sobbed and whimpered. Twilight jumped onto the bed, slowly prodding Spike with a hoof as Starlight jumped onto the other side of the bed. Spike looked up from his protection ball, his eyes crusty and red from crying so much, and saw Twilight open hooves. He latched onto her middle, sobbing into her fur as he gripped his protector, Twilight lowering her hooves and wings around to bring him into a protective hug.
“It’s ok Spike, It’s ok, I got you.” Twilight said, soothingly rubbing Spike’s back as she nuzzled the top of his head while he cried.
Celestia walked over to the bed, standing on the side as Spike looked up at her through the tight hug Twilight gave him. Twilight lifted her right wing, which allowed Celestia to get close to Spike and nuzzle his face calmy.
“Your in safe hooves Spike. Can you tell us what happened?” Celestia asked with a smile. Spike frowned, pulling his head away from Twilight’s tear stained fur chest before nodding up and down, wiping a tear away with his claw.
“W-Well, I-I was, walking i-in t-town, when this mare, S-Spoiled Rich, c-came up and...and…”
“Go on Spike.” Celestia said.
“She ate me!” Spike wailed.
“WHAT!?” The three mares yelled in shock, Spike shoving his head back into Twilight’s chest and weeping his tears into her fur.
“It’s true. She just swallowed me whole and didn’t give a damn! I...I still remember how it felt…”
Spike landed in the stomach, splashing into a small puddle of acids and food stuffs that sat at the bottom of the sack. He pushed against the stomach walls, trying to get back on his feet. He felt Spoiled give him a pat through the stomach walls, where he started to push against the stomach walls.
“Let me out!” Spike cried.
His struggles only got him the muffled sound of a belch, making the belly vibrate and throwing him off his feet. He landed face first in the acids, quickly pushing himself back up, coughing up some of the juices that got in his mouth, finding himself with less room as a lot of air had escaped.
The stomach started to sway from side to side, the juices below Spike swishing from one side of the stomach to another, Spike pressing his hands into the sides of the stomach before pushing himself forwards, making an imprint of his face bulge out of the stomach.
“Please! Somepony help me! She’s eaten me! Help!” Spike cried and cried for help, but the denizens barely noticed the small bulge his predator made as she walked through town.
Spike’s breathing got more frantic, the limited amount of oxygen making it harder for him to breathe inside the fleshy sack. Spike pulled his face back from the stomach, a bump from one of the legs sending him onto his back, splashing acids over his body once again.
He groaned, not used to this much abuse from the stomachs he usually entered, but then he felt a tingling sensation start to grow on his back. That tingling sensation rose higher and higher, the acids soon rising up and covering Spike’s chest. Spike’s eyes shrunk as he came to a realisation, the stomach was pumping acids in, it was starting to digest him.
In desperation, Spike pushed himself forward, starting to pound on the walls as sthe acids rose higher and higher, cutting off his oxygen supply more and more as the stomach was filled with juices. The lack of air was making Spike drowsy, but he tried to fight his tiredness off, the acids continuing to tingle his scales, but it was for naught.
“Please! Somepony! Please...i need...help…” Spike’s head felt heavy, the baby dragon blinking a few times before passing out, sinking to the bottom of the stomach as the acids covered his body, breaking the baby dragon down.
The three mares looked at Spike horrified as he told his tale, the dragon finished crying on Twilight’s before Starlight opened her hooves out, Spike eagerly jumping into her hooves and crying onto her shoulder.
“It was awful! I couldn’t do a thing, and nopony knew i was even in their. If I wasn’t a vore dragon I...I…” Spike started to cry loudly once again, hugging Starlight tight as the unicorn simply pat his back and held him tight.
Celestia watched in sorrow as Spike the Brave and Glorious was crying his eyes, whimpering and holding Starlight for dear life. When she explained this ability to Spike she didn’t wish for him to go through something so traumatic. She thought maybe that since it was a local fact Spike was an assistant to Twilight, more malicious ponies would avoid the alicorn’s wrath.
Celestia suddenly heard a crackle, and looking to the left she saw Twilight’s horn glow purple, purple lighting flicking around the horn. Her former pupil had the look of pure hatred on her face, a few flames flickered into the air as her mane started to turn into fire.
“Twilight, no.” Celestia stated.
“What?” Twilight said, her teeth clenched hard.
“I know what your thinking, don’t do it.” Celestia warned.
“And why not!? It seems only fair that BITCH gets what she deserves.” Twilight yelled back, growling as her pupils flashed a shade of red.
“Oh? So does Filthy Rich deserve to become a widow? Does Diamond Tiara deserve to be an orphan?” Celestia countered.
“No! Of course not! But...but…” Twilight rage defused, her horn stopped crackling and her mane stopped itself from turning ablaze.
“I know you want Spoiled Rich to pay, trust me Twilight, I would like nothing more then to shove her were the sun doesn’t shine. But we need to respond appropriately, perhaps a warning will suffice.”
“A warning! Your going to let her off!?” Twilight yelled.
“Trust me Twilight…” Celestia’s eyes sparked into flames, “This will be a warning she takes to heart, I’ll make sure of it.”
Twilight had rarely seen that look in Celestia’s eyes, but she knew what it meant. It sent a shiver up her spine, given her slight empathy for Spoiled briefly.
“Starlight.” Celestia said.
“Yes Princess?” Starlight asked, patting Spike’s head as he stopped his sobbing.
“I need you to gather the other girls and bring them here.” Celestia said.
“Right away.”
“Twilight, Spike, I’d like you to come with me to meet Spoiled Rich and...have a talk.”
Pffrrtt
“Ugh, of course the dragon would give me bad gas.” Spoiled Rich complained, patting her stomach as she let out a little fart. Her meal had been giving her gas all the way back from the meeting, although some part of her thought it was worth it.
She giggled to herself, feeling what was left of her meal still sit inside her stomach, she would finish it off at home, she would need to fuel for the function in Canterlot tonight her husband was bringing her to.
“Hehe, maybe i should add dragon to my palet. Urp, although I must be careful not to have them during social events, this is not proper behaviour.”
“I agree.”
Spoiled Rich turned around, and eyebrow raised as to who would be following her home, her face turning into shock as Princess Celestia stood before her. Behind her, Princess Twilight glared at her with a look that could kill, Spike hiding behind her hooves, peeking his head out.
Spoiled Rich stood shocked for a second, a million thoughts rushing through her head on how this would play out, and how many times she would barely say a word before Celestia banished her somewhere. Nevertheless, she decided to try and use diplomacy to wriggle her way out of this situation.
“P-P-Princess Celestia! What bring you to this fiar town, and to walk up and address me is a true honor.” Spoiled Rich said in a composed tone, bowing before Celestia. Twilight was about to spit acid at Spoiled for hurting Spike, but Celestia held a hoof in front of Twilight, signalling she would do the talking.
“Get on your hooves Spoiled Rich.” Celestia said in the usual kind tone she addressed her ponies with.
“Yes Princess.” Spoiled Rich did such a thing, quickly putting a hoof to her mouth to stifle a belch. “My sincerest apologies your highness, must have been something i ate.”
“Yes, I am aware.” Celestia said.
“I...apologise, what do you mean by that?” Spoiled Rich asked, lying through her teeth.
“Mrs. Rich, I know that you ate Spike over there today, and that you did so without his permission. Spike here is a special case, being a rare breed of dragon that can revive from being eaten” Celestia said.
Spoiled Rich’s face went white. She had been caught in the act, and the Princess knew about it. She was about to panic, before she realized that Spike was there, hiding away from her probably. She laughed to herself that she had made a dragon scared of her, before her mind started to link pieces together, her dealings with business had made her savvy with words.
“So, do you know what punishment might be fitting for you Mrs.Rich for violating Spike’s rights?”
“Technically, your highness, I am not violating any such laws, now am I doing anything against that dragon’s right.” Spoiled Rich countered.
“How so?” Celestia asked with a raised eyebrow.
“Well how could I be violating his rights if he is standing right there? He is currently not in my stomach, therefore I’m not violating the rights of that dragon.” She said, pointing to Spike, and in doing so exposed her stomach. The imprint of Spike’s face still seen on her belly, the loud sloshes could be heard as what was her last meal moved around inside it.
“Um, mind not being so rough? I’m still in there you know.” Spike spoke up.
“What nerve! That you in my stomach belongs to me, I’ll digest you however I so please!” Spoiled Rich said, glaring at the little dragon that dare talk while she is talking with the princess
“So you admit that you ate Spike.” Celestia said, catching Spoiled Rich’s bluff.
“Yes, I did. However, I’m not currently hurting the dragon that is breathing now, he is a conscious being. The dragon sitting in my belly is just fuel.” Spoiled Rich said.
“That was still Spike.” Celestia countered.
“Your highness, if that dragon gets devoured and re-appears later, isn’t that previous dragon just another meal while the second one is the truly alive, conscious one?” Spoiled Rich said, grinning as she believed her play to be hard proof.
“I-I-Is t-that true Celestia?” Spike asked, “A-Am I just meat when I get eaten?” Spike said, gripping Twilight’s hoof. Celestia was silent for a while, before she looked back at Spike.
“Spike, I’m going to need you to hold still. It’s for a very important spell.” Celestia said. Spike nodded, his body tingling with golden magic before Celestia’s stomach flashed, bulging down slightly as something appearing in Celestia’s belly.
“Aaah, thank you for that Spike. Now then Spoiled Rich, your claim is that due to Spike’s ability, you are justified with eating him because once Spike enters the belly, he is simply like any other meal?” Celestia asked.
“Yes, that is correct your highness.” Spoiled Rich said, asserting her stance.
“Well, this will surely disprove that.” Celestia said, and she lowered her head down.
“Spike, are you in there?” She asked. A few glorps and sloshes could be heard, before an outline that was clearly Spike poked out from the white belly, trying to nuzzle Celestia’s face. The Spike Clone went back inside, and Celestia raised her head to look at Spoiled Rich.
“Tell me Mrs. Rich, would an apple come out and nuzzle you if you ate it and called out it’s name?” Celestia asked.
“Well, no, of course not-”
“Exactly. So, even though you claim he was nothing but food with no conscious when he is inside a belly, I believe we have clearly seen that it is not the case for Spike at all. He is still the same Spike inside or outside a belly, and in each case, you have broken something that cannot be fixed.” Celestia said as she approached Spoiled Rich, who was starting to sweat and stutter.
“Y-Yes, perhaps h-he...I-Is…” Spoiled Rich tried to find a counter, but she was beaten at every turn. As she tried to find an argument, Celestia lowered her head and whispered into Spoiled Rich’s ear.
“I’ll let you off with a warning, but if you every touch a scale on Spike again I will not hesitate to shove you up my ass. Do I make myself clear?” Celestia said in a dark tone, making Spoiled Rich whimper and let off a little ‘pft’.
“Y-Y-Yes…” She said shakinging in her hooves, before turning around and running home, fearing for her life as she looked back at two pairs of hungry eyes, two princesses giving her the death stare made her run for the hills all the way home.
Celestia giggled to herself, before turning around to see Spike walk out from behind Twilight’s hoof.
“What did you do?” Spike asked.
“Oh, just told her what would happen should she bother you again, although I don’t think you should have to worry about her anytime soon.” Celestia said, her gut groaning slightly before she stifled a belch.
“Pardon me. I thought it would be better to simply teleport your clone instead of the traditional mean.” Celestia said, aware of Spike’s trauma.
“Thanks, Celestia…” Spike said.
“Now, I must return to Canterlot and return to my duties.” Celestia said, “Twilight, I know that was very hard for you to not explode back there, so I’m proud you made it through without one interruption.” Celestia said.
“No problem Celestia. I’m just glad Spoiled Rich gets what she deserves.” Twilight said.
“Regardless, before I leave, I bestow upon you and your friends the authority to punish anypony that would do something like this to Spike. Hopefully with a few extra hoofs, we can avoid another incident like this again.” Celestia proclaimed.
“Thank you Celestia.” Twilight said.
“Spike, I hope you get better soon. If you ever need somepony to talk to, remember you have plenty of friends that care about you. You also have friends in far away places, never forget that me, Luna, Cadance, Shining are only a letter away, I’m sure even Ember or Thorax would be willing to help.” Celestia said, nuzzling the small dragon who hugged back.
“Y-Yeah, your right. I’ve got plenty of ponies to talk to.” Spike said, Celestia giving him a peck on the cheek before rising back up.
“Farewell to you both then.” She said, disappearing in a golden flash.
“Come on Spike, let’s head back to the castle.” Twilight said, walking over and picking Spike up, putting them on their back.
“Please. I...I just need lay my head down for a few minutes.” Spike said.
“Of course, take all the time you need to relax Spike.” Twilight said, walking back to the castle.
The two walked back in silence to the castle, the both of them having nothing to really say, both of them just wanted to go home. Twilight walked through the double doors of the castle and headed towards the map room.
“I’m gonna have an eight-hour bubble bath, and then have a bowl of gems before going to bed tonight.” Spike said.
“Sure Spike, did you want to have anything else?” Twilight asked.
“Hmm, maybe some extra crispy hay fries? It’s Hayburger night right?” Spike said.
“Yes. No problem Spike, no problem at all.” Twilight said as she walked up to the map room doors, were Spike got off her back and went to open them.
“Thanks for the lift home Twi-”
Spike was suddenly grabbed by Pinkie Pie, who had jumped out of nowhere and pulled him into a hug.
“Oh my gosh Spike! I’m super duper sorry to hear what happened to you! It’s okay, that meanie-bo-beanie isn’t gonna hurt you with Pinkie Pie around!” She yelled.
“Pinkie...need to breathe…” Spike said, his face turning blue.
“Whoops, sorry.” Pinkie Pie said, loosening her grip on him before he felt several pairs of hooves wrap around him. He looked around to see all his friends surround him in a group hug.
“As Pinkie said dear, We’re so sorry you had to go through something so dreadful.” Rarity said.
“Yeah, sorry I wasn’t around to protect you dude. If I was, I would have beaten the snot outta her.” Rainbow said.
“Ah’m gonna have a stern talkin’ to Filthy Rich next time we meet. Let him know Sweet Apple Acres won’t do business with ponies like the Riches if they pull that stunt again.” Applejack said.
“It’s okay now Spike. We’re here to protect you.” Fluttershy said.
“I swear I’ll be there if you need me Spike. You’ve been there to help me with my issues, I have no problem returning the favour.” Starlight said.
Spike looked around in awe, his close friends either nuzzling him or holding him tight, swearing that they would be there for him. Twilight also joined the group hug, giving Spike a kiss on the forehead as she promised to hold her duty to punish those that hurt Spike like this again. A smile grew on Spike’s face, tears wealed up in his eyes again, although it wasn’t because he was sad. He teared up with happiness as he returned the girls embrace.
“Girls...thank you...I don’t know what to say...I-I’m probably gonna take myself off the menu for a while. I’m just…”
“You don’t have to explain, we all understand. Right girls?” Twilight asked.
“Right.” They all confirmed back.
“Thank you...thank all of you…”
Spike walked through the Canterlot markets, eyeing a few gems that a vendor was selling. He probably wouldn’t buy anything, what with the inflated prices that nobles didn’t bother to check since they threw bits around like they had bottomless pockets. Plus, Twilight’s parents had invited the two over for dinner, Twilight Velvet trying to make Spike feel better her own way after she heard what had happened, and he wanted to save his appetite.
Twilight had gone over to a book stand, seeing if she could find any collectors editions, rare copy’s or even a new book or two, leaving Spike to his own devices.
As he told the disappointed vendor he was not interested in his expensive gems, he whistled to himself and walked along, looking through the crowd for Twilight.
“Hello there~”
Spike turned around, Upper Crust standing there, looking down at him with a predatory glance and licking her lips.
“Now what’s a little snack like you doing out here all by yourself~?” She said. Spike nervously walked backwards as Upper Crust approached. Upper Crust licked her lips again as Twilight appeared behind Upper Crust and with a loud ‘chomp’, had her lips wrapped around her neck.
Spike let out a sigh, glad he didn’t have to go through something like that again as Twilight quickly devoured the noble unicorn, not bothering to taste her and just be done with it.
Spike looked away, not wanting to really wanting to watch as Twilight quickly finished the noble mare off. Spike waited, his ears picking up the slurps and gulps, before looking back, he watched as Twilight’s lips soon sucked Upper Crust’s back hooves in. She smacked her lips before belching up some jewellery.
“Egh, way too much makeup and perfume.” Twilight commented, her belly moving around wildly.
“You know you’ve just ruined dinner for yourself, right?” Spike asked.
“I don't care. That mare should have known better than to mess with my dragon.” Twilight said, Spike just chuckled and rolled his eyes. He was glad that even though some ponies saw him as just another meal, he had friends that had his back.
