The Concordance Extraction Corporation and the Kingdoms of Equis have negotiated a treaty between their groups. This allowed Equestrian citizens to assist in World Cracking operations, and harvesting of resources, in exchange that Equis is given both technology and resources from the CEC. A worthy exchange that has created both a lasting and fruitful relationship between the two factions, signed by the Corporation President and the Equestrian Solar Princess.

Though, upon a particular mission to find out the problem with a quiet ship, the USG Ishimura, "Chief of Security" Starburst, who was placed within the CEC's security team by request of her mother, makes a terrifying discovery about the lost World Cracker. She discovers what had happened to the Ishimura's crew, and what new twisted forms they have taken after making a terrible mistake upon Aegis VII. Can she stop what is to come? Can she survive these ravaging monsters, which stalk Ishimura's belly? Will she be able to see Equis again?
