"What hours can I expect?" I ask.

"Most likely, 11 am to 6:30 pm, Monday through Friday. A half hour break each shift for lunch, if you're good enough you won't have to worry about opening or closing, schedule changes, and you'll only be on the ovens. Lunch rush begins at noon and ends at 2 pm, dinner rush from, 4 to 6:30, after that we're able to manage without a pony on the oven,"

I nod, "How do you want me to prove myself?"

"Can Cadence come behind the counter and watch?"
