The Apple family.

It was a nice summer day in Ponyville, Lucas was getting ready to go to Sweet Apple Acres, just like he had done everyday since Martha died, and what Lucas had also done was he had learned to walk. Lucas started walking from his house to Sweet Apple Acres, it took a while, but he eventually arrived. When he finally got there, Lucas knocked on the door. Applejack went to open the door.

"Well if it ain't Lucas" Applejack chuckled.

"Hey Applejack it's nice to see ya" Lucas said, with a smile.

"Come on in and meet the family" Applejack said, to Lucas.

Lucas and Applejack went inside the house.

"Hey y'all look who's here" Applejack said, to her family.

Granny Smith walked over to Lucas. "I haven't seen ya in a while, how are ya doin'?" Granny Smith asked.

"I'm doin' great, and you?" Lucas asked with a smile.

It was still pretty hard to understand Lucas's speech sometimes, but ever since Lucas came to ponyville his speech has improved greatly.

"Hey Apple Bloom come here I want ya to meet Lucas" Applejack called upstairs.

Apple Bloom came downstairs, the minute she saw Lucas a smile spread across her face. Lucas knelt down to Apple Bloom.

"Hi Apple Bloom" Lucas said, with a smile.

"Hi Lucas, how are ya?" Apple Bloom asked with a grin.

It took Lucas a while to reply.

"I'm fine but it may take a while for me to answer so please be patient" Lucas said, to Apple Bloom.

"Alright" Apple Bloom was bouncing up and down in excitement.

"Lucas whatever happened to ya wheelchair?" Big Macintosh asked with a raised eyebrow.

"Well since I came to ponyville a couple of years ago I haven't had use for my wheelchair, and that is why I don't have it anymore" Lucas replied.

Big Macintosh looked at Lucas with his mouth agape, Lucas slowly nodded at Big Macintosh.

"Well I'll be" Granny Smith whispered to Applejack.

"Hey Applejack when is the next apple family reunion?" Lucas asked with a smile.

"In a few months" Applejack replied with a smile.

"Okay, good I just wanted to know that, because I want to meet the rest of your family" Lucas said, to Applejack.

"Don't ya fret, ya will meet them soon enough" Applejack said, to Lucas.

Lucas and Applejack were sitting in the living room.

The first thing ponies saw when they came in to the living room was a nice big fireplace, and next to the fireplace there was an armchair for Granny Smith to sit in while she was napping or reading a book.

"Well Lucas what do ya think of our way of life?" Applejack asked when she had finished showing Lucas around.

Lucas could only stand there with his mouth open.

"WOW THIS IS SO AWESOME" Lucas said, when he had found his voice.

"I'm glad ya like it" Applejack replied with a smile.

"Soups on everypony" Big Macintosh called from the kitchen.

The apple family was at the table faster than one can find a needle in a haystack.

After lunch:
Applejack was washing the dirty dishes, Lucas was playing with Apple Bloom in the living room, Granny Smith was napping in her armchair by the fireplace, and Big Macintosh was plowing the fields.

"So Lucas why did ya come here in the first place?" Apple Bloom asked with a smile.

"Well Apple Bloom your auntie Cumulus got married to my brother Nick, so now they live in Manhattan" Lucas replied with a smile.

"Do ya go to visit them often?" Apple Bloom asked with a raised eyebrow.

"No I don't but I would like to see them more often" Lucas said, to Apple Bloom.

Apple Bloom smiled to herself.

"Well maybe I can help ya with that" Apple Bloom said, to Lucas.

"If you could get me a train ticket to Manhattan that would be great" Lucas said, to Apple Bloom.

"Sure thing Lucas" Apple Bloom said, with a grin.

"Awesome Apple Bloom you are the best" Lucas said, to Apple Bloom.

That made Apple Bloom blush. "Thank you so much Lucas" Apple Bloom said, with a grin.

"It's no problem I am happy to be able to help ya" Lucas said, to Apple Bloom.

Apple Bloom pulled Lucas into a hug, they stayed like that for a while.

"Lucas I like ya very much" Apple Bloom whispered into Lucas's ear.

Lucas let out a sigh.

"I like you too" Lucas said, with a smile.

"So Lucas what do ya want to do now?" Apple Bloom asked with a smile.

"Maybe ya can show me around the farm some more" Lucas said, with a smile.

Summer was almost over, the leaves were beginning to turn a nice shade of brown, that also meant that this year's harvest was beginning.

So the Apple family had a lot of work to do, but what about Lucas where was he going to go?

Well ever since Apple Bloom got Lucas that train ticket to Manhattan, Lucas has been planning a trip to Manhattan, to visit his brother Nick.

Lucas has cerebral palsy, which as one might expect was very difficult on him.

But Lucas has overcome many obstacles in his life. Lucas was also bullied because of his disabilitie.

But he also overcame that obstacle, or so he thought.

"Lucas are ya ready to go to Manhattan?" Applejack asked.

"I think I have everything" Lucas said, to Applejack.

"Do ya have your train ticket?" Apple Bloom asked with a raised eyebrow.

"Yeah I do" Lucas replied with a smile.

"We'll see ya when ya get back" Applejack said, to Lucas.

"Well I guess this is goodbye" Lucas said, to Applejack.

Apple Bloom walked over to Lucas and pulled him into a hug.

"I'm gonna miss ya" Apple Bloom said, with tears in her eyes.

"Apple Bloom I'm going to miss you too, but never forget that you will always be in my heart" Lucas said, through tears.

A week later:
Lucas came back to Ponyville.

The apple family was standing at the train station to greet Lucas as he got off the train.

The train pulled into the station, the door of one of the train cars opened and out came Lucas, Applejack saw the hidden torure in Lucas's eyes as he got off the train

"What happened to ya sugarcube?" Applejack asked.

"Well it turns out that a bunch of the guys that used to bully me, also were in Manhattan for a couple of days, I thought I had gotten over this, but I guess I have been so busy lately I just blocked It out" Lucas explained as the family was walking into town.

"Are ya going to be alright?" Applejack asked as they reached Sweet Apple Acres.

"Yeah I'll be fine, you don't have to worry about me" Lucas said, with a smile.

Lucas went upstairs to his room and cried.

Applejack knew something wasn't right, so she went upstairs and knocked on Lucas's bedroom door.

"Sugarcube are ya alright In there?" Applejack asked from outside the door.

Lucas opened the door a crack, Applejack could see that Lucas had been crying. "Hey sugarcube can I come in?" Applejack asked.

Lucas smiled as Applejack walked into his room. Lucas's smile quickly turned to a frown. "What's wrong sugarcube?" Applejack asked Lucas.

"Oh Applejack I'm afraid that they will come back to try and hurt me again" Lucas said, when he had stopped crying.

"Ya don't have to worry Lucas" Applejack said, with a reassuring smile.

"Okay If you say so" Lucas said, as Applejack walked away from his bed.

Applejack smiled as she walked out of Lucas's bedroom.

Lucas turned off the lights in his room. Lucas just lay there in the dark.

Even as Lucas lay there he could hear the evil laughter.

The sounds were coming from all directions, that night would have to be the worst night of Lucas's life.

Lucas closed his eyes, but his dreams took him Into places he didn't want to be.

Oh the horror, the evil laughter continued to make Lucas tremble.

"You must die" a voice said. The voice started laughing.

"STOP" Lucas yelled Into the darkness.

"NO" the voice yelled. Lucas looked at his hands, they were covered in blood. "You can't beat us" the voice said. "Is this some sort of prank?" Lucas asked.

"NO" a Deeper voice replied. Lucas saw blood everywhere he looked.

Then silence, Lucas was killed on the spot.

The next day:
Applejack walked into Lucas's bedroom and what she found made her yell, Lucas was laying on the bed, he was covered in blood and urine. Applejack's eyes narrowed. She went back downstairs to tell her family the bad news.

"Hey y'all I have some bad news, Lucas was killed last night" Applejack sobbed.

"Oh Sugarcube, everythin' genna be alright" Granny Smith comforted.
