//-------------------------------------------------------// Harmony and Hostility -by cerealkiller78- //-------------------------------------------------------// //-------------------------------------------------------// chapter 1 //-------------------------------------------------------// chapter 1 A dark ominous presence loomed as it made its way through a lush landscape, leaving singing flowers wilting and wailing in its wake. It left glorious mountains cloaked in shadows as it approached a harmonious looking palace, overtaking it in darkness and despair. Even the rainbow waterfalls stopped their gushing and went dry at the foreboding presence. Approaching the great doors, the darkness reached out....and knocked. The doors swung open. "Sister! Must you always ruin my flowers with your dramatic entrances??" ""Apologies..." The darkness shifted into the form of a human, cloaked in black darker than night. "Sister..." "Now clean up this mess!" With a huff, the ominous being waved her hand and all returned to its usual harmony. "Happy?..." "Hardly... Now do come in before you wreak anymore havoc." The figure complied, and the doors were shut. "Now where have you been these days?" "Wreaking havoc..." "As usual...Have you seen my latest reformation model recently?" She asked smugly. "She loves me!" "That pony turned human only loves you because now she's got places to stay other than the streets!" "Oh sister, surely you just came from egypt, cause you're in denial!" "Whatever...Sooner or later, she will come back to me. She just needs a little discouragement away from you." "Oh yes...Just like Luna will come back to you right?" She asked slyly. The hostile being glared daggers at her harmonious sister that would leave a mortal being dead. Her sister wore a dress of living colors, with a train of glowing rainbows. The hostile sister hated it. "Sister....Do you know what happens when your elements begin tearing others apart?" Hostility asked quietly, before suddenly grabbing the gold and red from the rainbow train of her dress, and ripped the colors away, dropping them to the ground as their light and glow faded away and the rest of the colors lost a great deal of their brilliance. "...They tear themselves apart." Harmony crossed her arms. "Funny how you just ripped my train...My elements do not tear themselves, nor others apart...you do sister." Hostility scoffed. "Your precious elements are not all that, as you may think...A little push in the wrong direction, and they would all go savage. "Is that what you think?.." "I KNOW it sister! Why I would bet three million bows of rain on it!" "Done." "Why, I would even- what?.." "It's a wager sister." There was a pause, then hostility crowed. "This will be easy as pie!" Hostility departed the harmonious realm, and went to set her plan into action. She arrived at the Apple farm, where the representatives of her sister's elements were having a slumber party. "Makes me want to barf a rainbow..." She scoffed as she watched, invisible to all. "I just need somebody who..." Before she finished her thought, she saw the apple farmer hurrying her sister out of the room. "Hey wait! I can act grown up!" G'night sis!" "But it's not even my bedtime!" She complained. The door was closed on her, and hostility watched as she sulked up to her room. "Hmm..." Hostility followed the young farmer to her room. "It's not fair!" Applebloom complained as she closed her door. "It really isn't is it?.." Hostility connected a thought to her. "Your sister should be spending time with you...not that good for nothing pony turned human" "I just want her gone!" Applebloom coldly voiced her thoughts. Maybe there's a way to get her to stop spending so much time with her... Hostility silkily voiced in her head. Just then, her phone gave a notification buzz. It was for her Mystable App. Applebloom loked at her profile. Remind your sister of who Sunset used to be... Hostility hissed inside her head. Make a new account...Make it look like Sunset, but give the the profile no name...make it anonymous...Make it... Anon-A-Miss. Applebloom signed out, and furiously began making a new profile. "What now?.." Applebloom wondered when the profile was complete. Make a post you fool! Hostility urged. "About what?.." Anything that would embarress your sister! "Well...There is piggly wiggly..." Post it! "Ah don't know..." Would you rather have your sister constantly around that she-demon? With new vigor and anger, Applebloom punched the keys, typing her post, and making it heartless. The next day at school, hostility followed Applebloom everywhere. Applebloom saw her sister in the hallway, looking perplexed, as students were teasing her about piggly wiggly. Now you fool! Do it now!Hostility hissed. "Sis! Sis! Ya gotta see this!" She showed Applejack the recently created profile and the post. "Wha?...how...who?" Applejack tried to process what she was seeing. "Nobody knows who it is! It was just posted recently!" Just then, other students walked by, teasing as they went. "Hey piggly wiggly!" "Oink! Oink!" Applejack steeled herself. "Ah don't know who did this, but ah can handle a bit of teasing..." "Are you sure you're gonna be ok?" Sunset put a hand on her shoulder. Get yer dirty hands off mah sister...Applebloom thought coldly. "Ya...I'll be fine. Thanks Sunset." Applejack walked off. Go after her you idiot! Applebloom complied with the hostile voice. "Sis!" "Ya ain't gettin' teasedtoo, are ya bllom?" "No...It's just...about that profile." "What about it?" "Well...the only other person who knew about piggly wiggly was Sunset..." "Bloom! What are ya gettin' at?" "Ah'm just saying! Plus...The main colors on the Anon-A-Miss page are red and yellow..." "Bloom, ah can't believe ya would even accuse mah friend of doing this!" Applebloom held her hands up. "Ah'm not accusin' anyone, ah'm just pointing some peculiar facts out..." Applejack harumphed and left her sister. That went well... Applebloom thought to herself. They are going to Rarity's tonight." Hostility planted in her mind. Get Sweetie Belle. Do whatever you need to do After their math class, Applebloom pulled Sweetiebelle aside. "Ah need ya tah listen tah me." "What's up?" "Does...Does it bother ya how much time Rarity spends with Sunset now that they're friends?" "Bloom, you read my mind! I hardly ever see Rarity anymore...I... I hate to say it, but...I almost wish that they weren't friends..." "What if I told you that we may be able tah get our sisters back?" "How?.." Applebloom looked around, making sure no one was around. "First...Swear on our friendship that what ah'm about tah tell you, you won't reveal tah anyone." SweetieBelle was taken aback by the serious tone in Applebloom's voice. "Bloom...Wha-" "Swear it Belle!" "Ok, ok! Fine! I won't tell anyone." "Swear on our friendship." "Fine. I swear on our friendship, I won't reveal whatever you're about to show me, to anyone." There was a pause, before Applebloom took out her phone, opening it up to the Anon-A-Miss page, and gave it to Sweetie Belle. "Hey...I had heard that someone had leaked the whole "piggly wiggly" thing..." She trailed off. "THAT WAS YOU?!?" She all but shouted. Applebloom covered her mouth. "Go tell it on the mountain, why don't ya??" She hissed. "Applebloom!" She whispered. "Why would you do such a thing to your own sister??" "Take a good look at the page..." Sweetie Belle did. "It...It almost looks like a page Sunset made if I didn't know any..." She trailed off again. "YOU"RE FRAMING SUN-" Her mouth was covered before she could finish. "Are ya tryin' tah get me caught??" "Bloom!" she hissed. "This is low!" "Ah know it's low! Are ya in?" "...What?..." "They are going to be at yer house tonight. If yer in, get something on Rarity." Sweetie Belle gaped at her. "You're really not joking..." "We both want our sisters back. This could be the way to do it." "I...I don't know Bloom..." She looked at the page again. "I don't know if I want to take part in this..." "It'll just cut Sunset off from the group. It's no different than what she did with our sisters before." There was a quiet pause. "Are ya in?" "...Yes." It was the middle of the night. Everyone was sleeping. Sweetie Belle's heart thumped as she opened the door to her sister's room where the group of girls were asleep. Get the videos, get out. Get the videos, get out. She repeated in her head. Luckily, Sunset had her phone right next to her. Sweetie Belle quietly approached. She was sure her thumping heart would give her away. Sunset was sleeping, facing her. Sweetie was sure she would open her eyes at any moment, but amazingly, she didn't. Sweetie downloaded her videos. When it was finally done, she carefully made her way back to the door, and left. Once in the hall, she let out a breath she had been holding in. She had done it. She was...She was a thief, she thought to herself. She pushed the guilty feeling away, and went to bed. Sweetie shoved her phone into Applebloom. "I am NEVER doing that again..." Applebloom looked at the newly downloaded videos. "Sweetie...This is amazing!" "Hope you think so, cause it's not happening again." Applebloom made a comment to go with the videos, and posted them. Almost immediately, the likes and comments came rolling in. Before too long, the entire group of girls found themselves being teased over the videos. Applebloom and Sweetie saw Sunset come in, and approach the girls. Let's see you try and worm your way out of this one Sunset... Applebloom thought. "Hey girls, I-...What's going on?" Sunset asked when she was met with glares from the group. "Sunset...have...have you lost yer phone recently?" Applejack asked. "No...It's right here." She pulled it out. "Why?.." "Cause ya need tah explain this! She showed Sunset her phone, which was open to the Anon-A-Miss page with the videos. "What??" Sunset took the phone. "How did she get our videos?" "You mean YOUR videos??" Applejack demanded. Sunset looked up. "Huh?" She asked, surprised at Applejack's tone. "All those videos... Their yours! You took them Sunset!" "What are you-" "Don't play stupid, girl! The gig's up! Yer Anon-A-Miss!" Sunset stumbled back, as if struck. "...What?" "We should have seen it before. The profile colors are red and yellow after all, and yer the one who knew about piggly wiggly. You were so overly confident about all this, that ya blew yer own cover by posting so blatantly." "No...I- I'm not Anon-A-Miss! I'm not this person!" Sunset was starting to tear up, as were the others. "Ah can't believe we ever thought you were our friend..." Applejack said coldly, and turned away. "I... I am your friend! All of yours! You girls are the only friends I've ever had!" She put her hand on Applejack's shoulder, before being shoved away by Rainbow Dash. "Don't you touch herAnon-A-Miss!. We should have seen you for what you've always been. A lying, deceptive she-demon!" "Dash, you...You don't mean that." "Don't I??!" Dash reached out and grabbed her, before forcefully punching her across the jaw, sending her harshly to the ground. "Dash!!" Rarity gasped. But nobody moved to help her. Some students passing by snickered at the scene and scoffed at Sunset. "Don't ever talk to me, or any of us again, Anon-A-Miss." Dash walked away, as others in the hall congragulated her. As if she had just done something great. "You go Dash!" "Rainbow freaking Dash!" "Thug life!" "Not taking it anymore!" "Do it again so we can get it on tape! It'll be the new meme!" Sunset slowly got up from the floor, her jaw pounding. She looked at the others for any sign of mercy. Applejack shook her head sadly, and walked away, slowly followed by the others. Fluttershy lingered. "Shy?.." She winced from the pain in her jaw. There was a long pause, before she too, turned away sadly and left. Author's Note I actually have a bunch more written for this already. Just can't type much these days. //-------------------------------------------------------// chapter 3 //-------------------------------------------------------// chapter 3 "Hey! Looks like she's starting to wake up!" They gathered around her weak form as she came to, like a pack of wolves. "Welcome back." Gilda smirked. Sunset let her head drop in exhaustion. Gilda directed her face back towards her. "Eyes open dazer. Focus on me. You're in an abandoned building 20 miles out of the city. No one's coming for you, and no one can hear you scream... Not that you even could with the condition you're in." As if on cue, Sunset's breathing hitched, and she went into a violent coughing fit. When it finally passed, she was wheezing. Gilda chuckled. "My point exactly... Here's what's going to happen... We are going to go back to the city and live our lives as if this night never happened, and youare going to stay here. But don't worry! We'll be back here exactly two weeks from today. If you can survive until then, we'll take you back to the city, how's that sound?" She paused. "Wait, don't answer that. You really have no say in the matter anyway." She got up. "Don't worry, Rainbow will keep you company." "WHAT?!" Rainbow blurted. "Sorry Dash, but I can't trust you not to go to the police station." "Traitor...You traitor Gilda!!" Dash continued cursing as they left. "You two have a merry christmas..." Gilda chuckled. All was quiet when they left. Dash was still fuming. Sunset started coughing harshly again, sounding like she was choking on her own blood. "...Sunset?" Dash spoke when it had finally subsided. She got no answer. "Ya...You probably don't want to talk to me right now..." "...Hurts." She whispered weakly. "Sunset, I don't expect you to ever forgive me... But for whatever it's worth, I'm sorry...I'm so... so sorry." There was no answer from Sunset. "I'm the one who deserves to be in your position right now. You were my best friend, and look what I did... I should have been there for you, like friends are supposed to...Sunset?..." There was no answer. "Sunset!" No answer. "Sunset, talk to me! Say anything!" She said frantically. "....so tired..." Sunset replied weakly. "No! Don't go to sleep Sunset! Talk to me!" "Can't...hurts-" She coughed sharply, and whined pathetically. "Hurts..." She whined in a broken voice. "We're gonna get out of here Sunset, and we're gonna get you help." There was a long pause. "...Dash?" She whispered weakly. "Ya?.." "...I forgive you." Dash's heart broke. "Sunset...If you're saying that because...No Sunset, we'll get out of this, and when we do, we're gonna go to Sugarcube Corner, and down so many sweets, Pinkie will be scolding us for the next month, and Rarity will have to sew us new outfits cause we'll be barfing all over ourselves." Sunset gave a pained laugh and coughed. "You're...disgusting." She whispered. Dash let herself have a faint smile. There wasn't anything she'd rather do right now than make Sunsetlaugh. If Sunset was going to-...If Sunset was going...then Rainbow wanted to direct her thoughts as far away from pain and sorrow as possible. "Hey...The drama club will be performing tonight downtown." She chuckled. "At least we won't have to go to that..." Sunset laugh- coughed again. "They...are pretty...bad." "You're telling me! I went to their last production "Riddler on the roof", they got the entire name wrong, and knew nothing about the actual story. They turned it into a Ratman crossover!" Sunset laughed again. "I hear that there's a Daring Do movie coming out later this next year. I've already got a cosplay costume for when it comes out." "You're such...a nerd." She laugh- coughed again, before going into another violent coughing fit. She leaned to the side asfar as she could in her binds, and harshly coughed up blood onto the floor. She moaned when it finally subsided. "Can't...laugh." She whispered. That was not good. It was doing such a good job at diverting Sunset's thoughts from how tired she was, and now those thoughts were coming back. Sunset closed her eyes. "Sunset! Don't sleep!" "I'll...wake." "Sunset, open your eyes!" "Need...sleep." She didn't open her eyes. "Sunset, you need to open your eyes!" "Too...heavy." Make her laugh you fool!! She thought frantically to herself. "Hey! Remember that time when...uhh, Maud!! When Maud did...uhh, that thing..." Her mind wasn't giving her any more funny thoughts at the moment. "Night time....sleep." Sunset let her head drop. "Sunset! Wake up!" No response. "Open your eyes!" No movement. "Please say anything Sunset!!" No answer. "No..." Tears stung Dash's eyes. "Sunset no!!" There was nothing from Sunset. "HEEEELP!!!" Dash screamed at the top of her lungs. "Please!!! Anybody if you're out there!! We need help!!" Silence answered back. "Somebody!!... Anybody...help..." Rainbow wept all through the night. Author's Note I lied....I managed to get out a little more. LOL //-------------------------------------------------------// chapter 4 //-------------------------------------------------------// chapter 4 Hostility and harmony sat across from eachother at a table that would hold a thousand earths. "Well sister, seems I have won the wager." Hostility stated calmly. "You have done no such thing." "I...beg your pardon sister?" "If anything, you lost the wager. If I recall correctly, it was if all of my elements went savage... But one of them did not, and I have regained the element of loyalty as well... The wager, on your part, is incomplete, and now, with one element no longer there, you cannot complete your part of the wager." Hostility's eye twitched. Harmony smiled. "I win sister. My elements are not as corrupt as you would like to prove they are." "But...All the people I infected-" "Were not part of the wager." Harmony finished. "The element of loyalty-" "Had a hiccup, yes... But because of forgiveness, she is once more included." She gestured to her train, which had a blue with a new brilliance in the rainbow of colors, right next to a gold and red that glowed brighter than all the other colors. "Hey! I ripped those colors off!" "Yes, and I sewed them back on. Now... my three million bows of rain?.." Hostility begrudgingly handed the pot over. Harmony took it, and waved her hand. "This wager is officially at its close." She got up from the table to leave. Hostility looked at her train once more. "Wait one clock tick sister...Red and yellow...how are they still there, when its representative is no longer present?" "Do not underestimate what I am capable of sister..." The lights began to go on for hostility. "But...If you put her back... That means..." She gasped. "I STILL could have won the wager!" Harmony gave her sister a smirk. "Too bad it's closed now...Tah tah sister!" Sunset found herself in a lush landscape with mountains beyond measure, flowers that sang, and streams and waterfalls that flowed with color. Everywhere she looked was the perfect picture of harmony. "If...If this is what it's like to be dead... I can live with this." There was a chuckle behind her. "Live with being dead... I'll have to start using that." Sunset turned around, and saw a beautiful woman wearing a dress of colors that almost seemed to be alive, with a rainbow as the train of her dress. Sunset had never seen anything like this. Not even in Equestria. She responded the only way she could. "...Whoah." The woman chuckled. "I get that often. It is good to have you here Sunset Shimmer." "How do you know my... Do I know you?.." "Quite well." "Funny... I'm pretty sure I'd remember someone like you... Are you... from Equestria?.." "Indeed. I am also well aquainted with the mirror world, thanks to you." "Thanks to...me? What did I do?" "Why, you took me there in the first place." "Uh huh... Are you sure you're not confusing me for someone else?.." "Element of magic." She said plainly. The light started coming on for Sunset. "You... You're the element of magic??!" She blurted. "No silly. It is one of my elements though." "I'm...not understanding." "Who do the elements belong to Sunset?" "I... I don't know. I've never thought of that." "I'll give you a hint... It's in the name. Elements of..." She prompted. "...Harmony. But that's just a name. It's what they represent." "Yes, it's what they represent. They represent me. Harmony." Sunset opened her mouth to speak, but found it stuck. "I'm sorry... What?" "Yup! Defender of Equestria, and, thanks to you, now also the mirror world." "...Harmony....You...Harmony has a personality??" "Yes, the elements are what make up my personality." "...Ok...I...am talking....to harmony itself." "Yes. Your friends from Canterlot High of course, are my representatives." "I...I'm not sure they are my friends..." "Sunset, it's true, sometimes my representatives don't always do a good job of representing me... But they are only human, and they make mistakes, as do you at times." "I know I make mistakes! Lots of them! But...I really... really tried to change... What they did to me... What so many people at that place did to me... I almost did abandon everything. I wanted to go back to my old ways and just give them everything they were accusing me of anyway." "But you didn't." Sunset shrugged. "What does it matter now?.." "It matters everything to me Sunset." She took on a voice of determination. "You remained with me to the end. You were loyal, kind, honest, generous, and most importantly, you forgave Rainbow Dash." Her eyes took on a fiery lok as she continued. "You have loved me to the end, and now everybody in that school, and in Equestria will know that I have loved you," Sunset felt herself lifting off the ground, being enveloped in a rainbow like what seemed like so long ago now, but this time, it was a good feeling. "- That harmony has loved you." She continued. "When they see what I have bestowed you with, they will not dare deny it." Sunset felt herself being transformed in the air. "I give to you authority beyond what I have given to Celestia or Luna, because you refused hostility, and stayed with me to death, even winning Rainbow Dash back." Pure light filled Sunset's being. "Mocked, ridiculed, and beaten to the point of death. Never again will such atrocities fall on you. Never again will you fall. But you will rise..." Sunset felt something extending from her back. "Rise..." She repeated in a stronger voice. Sunset felt heat building up. "RISE!!!" The rainbows and light enveloping Sunset burst open, and there was Sunset, clothed in flames and rainbows, with wings of light on her back. "Any and all Equestrian magic is yours to use, both in Equestria, and the mirror world. From this point on, you are second only to me. Now go. Return to the mirror world. You now have access to come and go from this realm as you wish." Sunset felt a surge of magic, and the next moment, she had teleported out of the harmonious realm. It was morning. Dash hadn't slept at all. She just kept looking back at Sunset's unmoving body. She hated herself for this. How could she have done this? She would give anything to-" An explosion of light rocked the building suddenly and without warning. Dash averted her eyes. A Bomb! They planted a freaking bomb!! She thought. But...She soon realized she had not been blown to bits. The light faded away enough for Dash to look back in its direction. Her jaw dropped at what she saw. "S-...Sunset?.." She spoke, agape. But it wasn't Sunset... It couldn't be... This had to be a dream. Sunset didn't have wings... She wasn't normally dressed in rainbows that emanated light. Sunset smirked at Dash. "Told you I'd wake..." "SUNSET!!" Rainbow ran at her and threw her arms around her. She soon realized she was free from the post, and broke the hug, looking at Sunset. "Wait, how-" "Of everything you're seeing right now, that's what you're going to question?" Sunset laughed. "Touche...Sunset... how?.." "I doubt you'd believe me even if I told you." "Oh trust me...I'm... just about ready to believe anything right now..." She looked Sunset over again. "I'll tell you everything later. Right now... We're late for the last day of school..." She took Rainbow's hand, and teleported them out of there. Sunset brought them both just outside the doors of the gym. Classes had started and the halls were empty. They looked inside and saw among the group, Gilda, and a few others that had been present last night. Sunset was back in her usual attire, devoid of all fantastical qualities. She looked at Dash. "You ready for this?" Rainbow smirked. "Let's rock their world." Sunset opened the door, and they entered. " SHIMMER! DASH! YOU'RE LATE!!" Bulk Biceps scolded. At the names, a bunch of students did a double take. "Sorry coach." Sunset apologized. "We got a little... tied up. Had a rough night... But we're ready to face the day now." She glanced at Gilda. Gilda was stuck in place. "Well, you can face the day beginning with ten laps! GO!" She and Dash began running their course. "GILDA!! Did someone glue your feet to the floor?! BURPEES! NOW!!" The rest of the students continued with their exercises, with multiple students looking more than just a little uncomfortable at Sunset and Dash's unexpected presence. Immediately when class was over, and the door had closed to the girl's locker room, there was a great hush. Gilda approached Sunset with a look of murder in her eyes. Sunset simply crossed her arms at her. "I gotta hand it to you Shimmer... You're full of surprises, and quite frankly, I'm pretty floored as to how you managed to pull this one off..." "You saw, as well as everyone else here," Sunset gestured to the rest of the group. "-what happened at the battle of the bands. I am as mucha representative of harmony as they are, and last night, I was caught up to the realm of harmony, and the embodiment of harmony spoke to me." "Bull!!" Lightning Dust cried. "You expect us to believe that, you freaking liar?! Not only that you're just a representative of harmony, but that you're so freaking perfect, that harmony itself wants to have TEA with you?!?" She suddenly pulled a switchblade out of her pocket, and lunged at Sunset. "Just die already! You fu-" But before she could plunge her blade, there was a flash of light that knocked Lightning off her feet "Do NOT threaten me again." Sunset warned. Lightning scoffed. "Or what?? You'll go she- demon mode on me?!" "Hey Sunset!" Anothr approached. "The embodiment of my fist wants to have a talk with your face!!" She went to attack, but was herself, knocked back with another flash of light. "Ooh, look at the tough she- demon with her fancy light show!" Gilda mocked. "I'm shaking in my bunny slippers..." "You all have NO idea... You all want proof of what I say?? FINE!!" The locker room exploded in a burst of light, and Sunset donned her wings and dress once more, in a stunning display. The group stumbled back in shock. "Holy mackerol!!" "Not one of you will ever threaten me again! You have no part in harmony. You have no IDEA what harmony is! Do NOT approach me EVER again!!" With that, she and rainbow disappeared. The rest of the group was left speechless. "What..... Just happened?" Twilight sat at her desk in her lab at Crystal Prep, ever monitoring the strange happenings at Canterlot High. "This is crazy Spike! Just overnight, the energy leves at that school have sky rocketed! As if it wasn't already weird enough!" Her dog chased its tail aimlessly around the room. Undeterred by what Twilight would call "concerning". Twilight frowned at her dog annoyedly. "Gee...You're right Spike!... I should go over there and see what this is all about..." Spike finally found his tail, and yelped in pain when he bit hard on it. Author's Note This is as much as I have for this story so far. //-------------------------------------------------------// chapter 2 //-------------------------------------------------------// chapter 2 "What have we done Bloom?...We...we're monsters..." "No. We're not." Sweetie gaped at Applebloom. "Did you not just see-" "I saw perfectly fine... She deserved it." "...What?" "When you really think about it, what recompense did Sunset ever get for what she did in the past? This is just a little overdue justice." "I don't know Bloom..." "Besides, if we close the account now, they might just decide to give her a second chance. We aren't closing the account, if anything, we'll be expanding it." "Expanding how?.." "The Anon-A-Miss account is getting emails left and right about secrets to post." "We are going to post everyone's secrets now??" "Exactly." It was after their science class together, that Applebloom approached Scootaloo next. She told her everything she had told Sweetie Belle. "I can't believe it's you guys!" She whispered. "Are ya mad at us?" "Mad? I actually thought it's kind of cool how much attention the profile's getting." "Want in?.." "Seriously?" "One condition...We'd need something on Rainbow Dash. We haven't gotten anything on her yet." "Hmm..." Her face took on a mischevious look. "I may have something..." The five girls were sitting at one of the cafeteria tables. All was quiet. "Do you think maybe we were too hard on Sunset?.." Fluttershy spoke up. "Rainbow groaned. "Shy, we can't just let her walk all over us. We appreciate how caring you are to...everybody. But maybe she'll actually think before she makes another post." "I have to agree with Rainbow on this one fluttershy dear." Rarity agreed. "Sometimes people just have to learn the hard way." Applejack added. "But...But Rainbow punched her..." "Like Applejack said..." Rainbow defended. "Learning the hard way. I'd be surprised if she ever posts on that site again." Before she had finished her sentence, their phones, along with many others in the cafeteria went off, signalling another update from Anon-A-Miss. Dash sighed. "Looks like I spoke too soon..." She looked at the new post on her phone....and froze. There were murmers across the cafeteria. "They didn't really do that." "Oh snap! Payback for that punch!" "Gotta hand it to Shimmer, she's got guts to post this..." "I sense a war brewing between them...Chalk one up for Shimmer!" The other girls had looked at their phones with their own shocked faces. "Rainbow darling...Are you going to be-" But rainbow was already out of the cafeteria. Hostility had found Rainbow outside on the bleachers. She had infected the majority of the school, and Rainbow Dash was one of her sister's own element representatives. If there was anything hostility enjoyed doing, it was manipulating her sister's own representatives, and making harmony out to be just as corrupt as she was. It's not fair is it? She planted into Rainbow's mind. Sunset has crossed the line... She deserves to pay." "She should pay..." Rainbow agreed with the voice. "But how?.." Just then, the other half of who'm the last post had been made about, Gilda, grabbed her from the bleachers. "Hey punk. Me and some of the others are looking for your little friend, but we can't seem to be able to find her anywhere. Where is she??" Gilda demanded. "First of all, she's not my friend." "Good to know. Cause we're going to make her suffer. Now where is she??" "Trust me, if I knew, I'd tell you, but I could still help you find her." "I've got people looking high and low for her. She's gone!" "Exactly. She probably went home." She took out her phone. "But I have more than one way of getting hold of her..." A smirk slowly formed on Gilda's face. Hostility was pleased. That wager was as good as hers. It was after school hours. Everybody had gone home and it was 6 pm. "Ok, send the text. I told everybody to be here at 6:15 pm sharp. Tell her to be here at 7:00. Make her come. Tell her it's an emergency, anything that'll get her here. Tell her to come to the gym. I had someone stick around in the school. They'll let us in, and we'll prop the door open." Dash nodded and made the text, then sent it. It wasn't long before she got an answer. "Dash? What's this about an emergency?" "I'll tell you when you get here. See you at 7." As Gilda had said, everyone was there early. They all took their positions and waited. Sunset got there at about 10 after 7:00. Dash, Gilda, and three others were sitting at the bleachers inside the gym. Dash saw Sunset approach at the gym doors. The lights were all off, and they were in hooded clothing. Gilda gestured to Sunset to come closer. She did. "Uhh, girls? Not that I'm complaining, but this meetup feels a little creepy..." "That's the whole idea." Gilda spoke. That was when all the lights cut on, and the rest of the students filed in, blocking the exits. Sunset looked around her, coming to the realization that this was all a setup. "You know, I wasn't so sure you'd really fall for this. Guess you're not so smart after all, huh?" She mocked. Sunset surveyed the people on the bleachers. Rainbow kept a neutral face, but Sunset's gaze fell on her anyway. She squinted as she tried to get a better look at her. Dash lowered her head. "...Rainbow?" Ah, who am I kidding?.. Dash thought to herself as she raised her head back up to glare at Sunset, and fully removed her hood. "Yes. Surprised?.." Sunset slowly shook her head. "How could you?.." She asked quietly. "How could I?? How could you!!" Rainbow pointed an accusing finger at her. "How could you have the gall to post what you did?!?" "I don't even know what was posted!!" She addressed everyone in the gym, and held up her phone. "Try me! Take this phone and see for yourselves that I don't even have the stupid app on my phone! I deleted it! I'm sick of the app, and I'm sick of students who can't see what is right in front of them!!" Sunset was shouting angrily now. She was fed up with all of this. She had had it. "Take it! Anybody!... Nobody? What's wrong? Afraid that I might actually be TELLING the TRUTH?? Having second thoughts about this whole vigilante act?" "I'd like to check it out." Gilda spoke up. "Be my guest." Sunset tossed her the phone. She caught it... and smashed it on the ground. "To be honest, it really doesn't matter whether or not you are Anon-A-Miss. Fact is, you're still due for payback for the last three years! So, sorry to ruin your little speech, but if you thought you could get out of this so easily, you are sadly mistaken Shimmer. This is revenge..." The circle of students slowly began closing in. Sunset looked around, but had no way of escape. "Dash! Do you really still want them to do this to me?" Sunset asked, more frantically now. "Even if I'm not Anon-A-Miss?? I thought you had forgiven me for my past. What if I didn't betray you?? Are you still going to betray me??" "Someone shut her up already!" Gilda shouted. Someone kicked her from behind, knocking her to the ground, and they all descended on her. They savagely tore into her with punches, kicks, and stomps. Rainbow watched from the side with Gilda, feeling a surge of guilt. Seconds turned into minutes as they continued their assault. Three minutes later, Dash turned to Gilda. "That's enough Gilda." "You kidding? This is just beginning." Sunset cried out in pain amid the abuse. "I said that's enough!" "What's the matter? Growing a heart now? "They're going to beat her into unconsciousness!" "That's kinda the idea Dash." Dash moved forward to stop the attack. Gilda pulled her back. "You interfere, then you'll be next..." She warned. Dash pulled her arm away, glaring, and moved forward again. Gilda turned her around forcefully, and punched her across the face, knocking her to the ground, and kicked her in the ribs. "Stay down Dash. You'll regret it otherwise." Dash scoffed, and moved to get up, only to have Gilda's boot stomp down on her back, forcing her back to the ground. "The only one you're making this hard for is yourself Dash." Dash looked back over to the large group. One of them pulled Sunset up by the collar of her shirt and held her against the wall. He drove his fist into her face, then three times into her gut before dropping her back to the ground, where the attacks raged on. "Sunset...forgive me." Dash could only watch as Sunset gave into the unrelenting abuse. "Stop!" One of them called out. "She's out cold!" Dash glared back up at Gilda. "You've all had your fun, now let her go, and we can all go home." Gilda smirked. "Ya, fat chance of that..." She addressed the group. "Get her in my trunk, and we'll head out." "Head out...where?" Dash asked, confused. Gilda didn't answer. Everyone began filing out. Two guys came over and held Dash and bound her. "We're going for a ride..." Gilda shoved Dash to get her moving. They came to a remote area, about 30 minutes outside the city, with an abandoned factory. Gilda got Dash out of the car, and two others went to get Sunset out of the trunk. Dash got a good look at her. Her face was completely swollen with bruises and cuts. Blood trailed from her nose and mouth, and both her eyes were purple with bruising. If Dash hadn't known any better, she would think Sunset was dead. It made her sick to think she had helped them do this. They went inside, found a large room, and tied Sunset to a post. Gilda tied Dash to another nearby post. "We'll just let you watch from here." Gilda smirked, and went back to the group. The time they were waiting for her to wake up, they took some permanent markers, and drew derogatory images and insults all over her face, chuckling as they did so. It was about half an hour later when she finally began to stir and moan. Author's Note That's all the time I have to type right now. But I've got more.
