Prince Sonic the hedgehog in heat week

It was another faithful day in canterlot, here we see the beautiful Princess Celestia walking along the halls with Spike, her prized pupil and fellow Princess's assistant, who she was leading to his room.

"So for the next week, you said I have to study how dragons are capable of using magic, right Princess?" Spike asked.

"That's right Spike." Princess Celestia responded.

"Sorry for questioning you, but wouldn't you want Twilight to be doing this? I'm sure she would have a much better time at doing this than I would."

"I know it's a bit confusing Spike but look at this way, you could possibly learn how to use magic yourself by doing this and it can help you understand how dragons live as well."

"I never thought of it like that. Okay I'll do it!"
They soon arrive in front of the room he will be staying in.

"Goodnight Princess." Spike said as he gave her a hug.

"Goodnight Spike." Princess Celestia said, returning the embrace.

After Spike went inside his room, Princess Celestia then makes her way to her own room. As she's making her way she spots her sister, Princess Luna, down the hall.

"Luna." She called.

Princess Luna looked her way and smiled.

"Sister." Luna said. "Has Spike arrived already?"

"I just said goodnight to him." Celestia responded.

"That's a relief. Wouldn't what him to take part of this upcoming week."

"I simply couldn't have him stay in ponyville that's for sure. With it being heat week tomorrow, I wouldn't want his innocence to be taken by some heat-crazed mare."

"I agree. Although I wonder, why not have Sonic come here as well?" Luna asked." I'm sure you wouldn't want him to be attack by heat-crazed mares as well."

"As much as I'd like to, I have to let him fend for himself. He is 18 after all, and has shown countless times he's capable of taking care of himself." Celestia said.

"I guess you have a point. A lot has changed in the three years after my return."

"It certainly has, Shining Armor and Cadence got married, the Crystal Empire has returned, Twilight has become a Princess herself, and so much more." Celestia pointed out.

"I am still concerned about how Sonic will handle all this."

"Relax Luna, I'm sure he'll do fine, and with the help of the chaos emeralds, and his extreme speed, he'll be practically untouchable."

"Let's hope you are right, sister."

"Goodnight Luna."

"Pleasant dreams sister."

With that the two sisters go their separate ways, with Celestia going to her room.

After arriving to her room and changing into some sleepwear, Princess Celestia then gets onto her bed and begins to let sleep take her.

"Stay safe Sonic. I certainly hope your prepared for this upcoming week, because things are bound to get wild in ponyville." She mumered before finally falling asleep.

Over at friendship castle (located in ponyville), the mane six are discussing the upcoming week and some possible plans for said week.

"Okay girls," Twilight began, "We all know heat week starts tomorrow and we have to be ready for it."

"Yeah!" Rainbow Dash agreed, "But the bad news is that every stallion in town knows that as well, and seeing how us mares outnumber then 3 to 1, they are most likely are going making some plans as well to hide from us!"

"That's why we have to think of some possible hiding spots darling." Rarity said.

"I don't know about y'all, but I say we catch some now while they least expect it!" Applejack said.

"Yeah, take them by surprise and when heat week starts tomorrow, he already have some stallions to have fun with!" Pinkie agreed.

"I you ask me, if you don't mine, I don't think that will be fair girls." Fluttershy said.

"Fluttershy is right, " Rainbow Dash said, "Besides, that would be too easy. It'll be more fun to actually chase and catch them."

"Wow! I did think of that! I'm in! Especially if it's going to be fun!" Pinkie said.

"What's going to be fun?" Asked a familiar voice.

The girls turn to see their good friend Sonic, adopted son of Princess Celestia and the first hedgehog in the royal family.

"Oh how starting tomorrow we're going to catch some-" Pinkie said before Twilight covered her mouth with her hand.

"Butterflies!!! That we're butterflies all of next week starting tomorrow!" Twilight said with a nervous smile.

"Catching butterflies all of next week?" Sonic asked, "No offense, but that seems like that'll get pretty boring after the first day. And a bit of a waste of another glorious week."

"Wait you don't know what's going to start tomorrow?" Twilight asked.

"Now that I think about it." Sonic said, "I do feel like I'm forgetting something but can't quite remember what."

The girls then look at each other with smirks on their faces now knowing this valuable information.

"I guess your right Sonic," Twilight said looking at him with a smile, "That is pretty silly idea, I guess we'll make a change of plans."

"Do think you can tell me what next week is?" Sonic asked.

"What? Oh! Uhhh. Me and the girls were coming up ideas of that we could do for a whole week and catching butterflies came up." Twilight said with a nervous smile while the others face-palmed at Twilight's explanation.

"Well that's weird." Sonic said, " Oh well, I'm going to bed. Goodnight girls."

"Goodnight Sonic!" The girls said together.

After Sonic left the room everyone glared at Twilight.

"Catching butterflies all of next week? Was that the best you can come up with Twilight?" Rainbow Dash asked.

"Hey, with what Pinkie said before I stopped her, I couldn't think of anything else!" Twilight protested, "Besides he did believe it!"

"And since he did we can use this to our advantage." Rarity said.

"Yeah! If we could catch him when he leasts expects it, we could could have ourselves a hedgehog to have fun with all week!" Pinkie exclaimed.

"But the thing is we need to be smart with this." Applejack said.

"Applejack is right," said Rarity, "If we go in too fast he might catch on and will get away."

"I can't believe I'm saying this, but we'll have to take our time and lure him in." Rainbow Dash said.

"What about the chaos emeralds?" Fluttershy asked, "If we do catch him, he could just use chaos control and teleport away."

"I think I have a plan for that." Twilight said.

With that said the girls smirked before Applejack let out a yawn.

"Welp, I think we've made enough planning for one night. I'm going back to Sweet Apple Acers and get myself some shut eye. " Applejack.

"We should get our rest. This upcoming week is going to be a busy one!" Twilight said.

"Goodnight everypony!" Pinkie said.

"Goodnight!" They all responded as they make their way back to their houses.

"Sonic I hope your ready because this is going to be the best week of your life!" Twilight said to herself while making her way to her room.

Meanwhile in Sonic's room, Sonic had just finished getting ready for bed and had just lied down when he felt a chill go down his spine.

"I don't know why, but I have a bad feeling for this upcoming week." He said.

After a moment he shrugged it off and fell asleep, little does he now about craziness awaiting for him in the morning.
