The reason why is I wasn't at the point of being able to write in this but now I'm back and I'm going to work on this as well as posting more chapters later on. Enjoy. Chapter 1: False Emergency Danto was watching TV at Rainbow’s house with the fact of everything being on a normal schedule, go to school, hangout with his girlfriend and their friends, go home and go to bed. It was until his phone made a bell ding sound meaning he had a text received. Though bored and a little bit tired, he moved his arm to the phone, turned it on, and read it. “Emergency. Everyone come quick.” he said as he went back to watching tv only to realize what the text said, “EMERGENCY!!!” he got up and started running to the school as quick as possible. He made it to the school as did everyone else. Sunset was the first to ask what the problem was, “I got your text Rainbow Dash, did something come through the portal?" "Is magic on the loose again?" Aldon asked nervously. “A giant cake monster covered all the cakes in the world with cake?!” Pinkie shouted pulling out 2 cupcakes and eating them both at the same time. “Uh, not exactly.” “Um, I don’t understand.” “Well Sunset, I was telling Rainbow Dash that a broken guitar string doesn't really qualify as an emergency.” “It totally does.” “Really Rainbow Dash? I was in the middle of sewing a very complex alcapa on my latest frock.” “And I was just about to tuck everyone in for the night at the shelter. Now I’ll have to start stories all over again.” “Dash, why did you send us all a text for a guitar string? You could've asked me and I would've brought you one instead of having ALL of us come here.” “Well, I was going to pony up and show our fans some awesome guitar licks, but I kinda need all 6 strings to do it. Got any extras? And what were you doing while I was trying to play?” "Watching TV, being bored for a bit." Sunset then handed Rainbow a guitar string from her bag. “Here. But I thought everyone finished practicing. I’m pretty sure all the music rooms are locked.” Rainbow took the old string and replaced it with the new one. “No problem. The acoustic in the hallways are perfect for power chords.” Rainbow said as she strummed all of the strings. “Come on let’s go.” They followed her into the school while Sunset was watching them leave. “You coming Sunset?” “I’ll catch up in a bit.” Aldon was about to walk through the doors to follow his friends when he looked down at Sunset as she was about to write in her journal to Princess Twilight. He then remembered what Twilight said to him before she went back to Equestria. “Remember, this isn’t goodbye. I’ll be back.” He started thinking to himself. ‘Hm… She may come back. But since she might be busy in Equestria though. I guess I'll have to find someone else that's like her.’ “Hey Sunset.” She turned to Aldon standing over her, “Oh, Hey Aldon. Aren’t you going with them and listening to Rainbow play?” “Eh, listening to the same kind of genre can be kind of boring every now and then.” “Well, you do have a point there. But that doesn’t really explain why you haven’t gone with them.” “I thought you wanted some company. If you wanted me to join them, I could.” ‘Why is he staying with me and not with them? Oh well, I guess I'll worry about that later.’ “I guess I could use the company.” She said as Aldon sat beside her and was seeing what she would write. 'Dear Princess Twilight, How’s life treating you in Equestria? Any cool new magic spells? It’s been pretty quiet here since the Battle of the Bands. We still pony up when we play music, which Rainbow dash just loves to show off. But I still can’t grasp what it’s all about. I would love to hear you think about it, when you get a sec. Your friend, Sunset Shimmer.' ‘Yeah I think she could be the one.’ Aldon thought. Chapter 2: Old Friends, New ProblemsSomething has gone wrong. We don't seem to have an archived copy of that chapter.Chapter 3: Partial AnswerAfter they made it to the library and explained what happened, they all started looking around on the shelves to see if they can connect anything that Aldon and Sunset said. Sunset started pacing while Aldon was sitting on the desk, thinking to himself of the girl feeling as if she was… familiar. “She was definitely doing something to the statue or was going to.” “Do you think she came through the portal from Equestria?” Fluttershy said while petting a bunny from her backpack. “No, I’m pretty sure I would’ve noticed that. I think she was from over here.” “Well, that’s a relief. The last thing we need is another magical so and so bent on world domination coming over from Equestria.” Applejack said, leaning back on the chair and winking to Sunset as she smirked in response, remembering the Fall Formal. “Agreed. I have no interest fighting against the powers of evil magic. The wear and tear on my wardrobe are just too much to keep up with.” Elu walked over to Aldon and tapped him on the shoulder as he shook his head and looked at him, “You okay man? You’ve been thinking about whatever for the past,” checks his watch, “3 and half minutes.” “Oh, I’m fine. It’s just... that girl looked familiar.” “Well, we’ll find out soon enough. Just give it some time,” fakes coughs and mutters, “And a little bit of foreshadowing,” speaks normal again, “And everything should be revealed later today.” “Wait, what did you say?” “What?” “That... oh nevermind. You’re always one to speak randomly just as Pinkie.” El smiled in response “Still, a mysterious figure snooping around the portal? I mean, don’t you want to know what she was up to?” “Oh, I never want to guess.” “Well, you don’t have to.” Rainbow says, going to the group with Danto. “Because me and Dash figured out who it was.” “Oh, oh, the Night Time Statue Cleaner? A Magical Portal Maintenance Maintainer? A Gardener?!” Pinkie smiled at both of them, seeing if she got a correct answer. “Seeing how they got off the bus from the city, they got on the bus heading TO the city. I bet they go to-” “Crystal Prep.” Everyone said, except Sunset, Aldon, Rainbow, and Danto. “Yep. With the Friendship Games starting tomorrow, they'd totally try to prank us by defacing the Wondercolts statue.” “Why would anyone take a bus all the way from the city for that?” “Because the Crystal Prep Shadowbolts are our biggest rivals?” “Because that's just what the students at Crystal Prep would do?” “Because even though they beat us in everything –” Rainbow shows Sunset the book, flipping through the pages, “soccer, tennis, golf – they still have to gloat!” she flipped to the next page, showing the statue of CHS dressed as a clown. Aldon and his friends couldn’t help but laugh a small bit seeing the statue representing the school dressed as a entertainment figure for a carnival. “Seems kind of silly to me.” “Silly?!” Everyone said, then looking at her in disbelief. “So, I’m guessing the Friendship Games are silly too.” Rainbow said as Aldon stood up and spoke get their attention. “Okay, let’s take it easy everyone. Look, at least we’re not going against magic this time so that’s a relief.” “No, we’ll be fighting against a school of meanies. Not everything has to be magical to be important.” “You’re right and I’m sorry. I know it’s a big deal.” Sunset said, getting their attention for a second. “That's putting it mildly, darling. They're still revamping the playing field in preparation.” “I just don't understand why there's this big rivalry. Aren't the ‘Friendship Games’ supposed to be about our two schools getting along?” “Well, it's kinda hard to get along with someone who beats you at everything.” “Not anymore! This time, things are gonna be different.” “What do you mean?” “Don’t worry about that yet. Me and Dash have that covered. Just make your way to the gym. Trust us.” Danto said as both of them smirked and left the library. “Well, let’s go see what they’re planning then if they’re going to tell us to do something.” they all started making their way to the gymnasium. Chapter 4: MotivationThe students of the school gathered into the gym as an announcement made by Principal Celestia. She got onto the stage and spoke to the students, trying to cheer them up. “As I am sure you all know, tomorrow, Canterlot High School will be hosting our fellow students from Crystal Prep Academy as we join together in the spirit of excellence, sportsmanship, and fidelity to compete in the Friendship Games.” the students cheered and applauded sarcastically in response. “Since the games only happen every four years, I'm sure you're all curious what goes on.” “You mean other than us losing?!” Flash shouted as Celestia and Luna gave looks of slight annoyance. “And that is exactly why I've asked Rainbow Dash to come up and give you all a little, um... context.” “Thank you, Principal Celestia. I know a lot of you might think there's no way we can beat a fancy school like Crystal Prep at anything.” “Unless it's a ‘losing to Crystal Prep’ competition! 'Cause we're really good at that!” “And I know that CHS has never won the Friendship Games even once.” “Oh, dear. I hope this speech isn't meant to be motivational.” “You never know. Maybe it’s a recap THEN a motivation speech.” The students cheered with their spirits held high, thanks to the motivation from Rainbow. After they finished, she went backstage to see Danto leaning on the wall, smiling. “My girl still knows how to motivate a crowd.” “Well, I did it with a bit of help from the band. And you for getting this set up.” Danto chuckled a small bit before walking up to Rainbow and giving her a quick kiss. “It’s what boyfriends do. Help out their girlfriends with anything as much as they can.” Rainbow blushed a small bit in response to both the comment and the kiss. “You could just say ‘I love you,’ right?” “Where’s the fun in saying straight out when you can go around then come back to it?” “Are we interrupting a loving moment with you two?” “A little but we already covered the ‘ILY.’ So, what did you think?” “That was amazing! Even I feel like we can win!” “I feel like my school pride is at an all-time high!” “Is anybody else wonderin' how Dash ponied up without playin' her guitar?” “I know, right? It's probably because I'm so awesome!” Danto coughed, “Or love.” “What was that?” “Nothing.” “Maybe. I mean, you are awesome and maybe it could also be love, but there's gotta be more to it than that, right? It just seems so random.” “Well, it would be nice if you all could get a handle on it. We'd like to keep magic as far away from the Friendship Games as possible. We don't want to be accused of cheating.” “We don't need magic to defeat those hoity-toity Crystal Preppers.” everyone agreed with Rarity as she giggled, knowing she was right. “On the plus side, we’ll be trying to inform on anything more that pops up.” Elu said as his phone buzz and he checked it, “Huh. Lunch is cancelled due to the games. I can see why.” “Still, the Friendship Games are serious business. We don't want any surprises. Especially the kind that could cause us to forfeit. Sunset Shimmer, you came here from a world of magic. Perhaps you can get to the bottom of our magical development.” “I'll do my best.” “Okay. Anybody have any guesses what the events are gonna be?” “Pie eating? Cake eating?” Pinkie gasped as she then slammed the pie and cake together as the frosting and insides of the pie splattered in the area, “Pie-cake eating?!” Applejack wiped a small bit of frosting from her nose before speaking. “They won't even let us see what they're doin' to the field. You think they'd at least tell competitors what they're competing in.” “It could be anything.” “Anything?! How will I ever pick the right outfit?!” “I really wanna help, but I think I better go focus on figuring out why Rainbow Dash ponied up. See ya later!” “Seems like she's got everything under control. Nothing to worry about.” Danto nudged Aldon as he turned to look at him. Danto make a ‘shoo’ motion as Aldon got the message. “Sunset, wait up!” he went out the doors, trying to catch up with Sunset. “Are y'all tryin’ to get Aldon and Sunset together?” “I mean, you DID see him stay behind earlier this morning, remember?” Pinkie gasped then having a large smile on her face. “We should definitely get them together!” “Easy, look. We’re giving them a small push, no need for shoving just yet. We’ll have to see how they'll play it out.” “Well, what are we going to do to pass the time until then?” “How about we practice once their done? That or play without them considering we have doubles on drums and guitars.” “Sounds good, let’s go.” They all started heading to the music room, planning on practicing while Aldon and Sunset we’re trying to figure out how Rainbow Dash ‘ponied up’ without playing her guitar. Chapter 5: ThoughtsAuthor's Note I know the chapter title probably isn't that relatable but I didn't think of the name when I was writing this. So, try not to mind it too much. Chapter 5: Thoughts In the Library… Aldon was reading a book while Sunset was still trying to figure out the answer from Rainbow ponying up earlier. She groaned and pushed all of the papers off of the desk and placed her hands on her head. “Still having trouble?” “I don’t know what could’ve caused Rainbow to pony up like that. I’ve looked into everything that I could think of.” “Well, sometimes things have explanations and sometimes things are unexplainable. I think this is one of those where it just need a little more time to figure out.” “I know, but-” “Just give it some time. We’ll get more clues and we can figure this out later.” Sunset sighed. “Your right. I just don’t know what to do with this much responsibility on keeping the magic in check.” “Well…” Aldon grabs Sunset’s book and places in front of her, “You could tell a certain someone about this while we’re still trying to figure it out.” Sunset looked down at the book then Aldon as he handed her a pen, “I’ll go get these books back at the shelves while you tell Twilight about this.” he grabs the books and walks away as Sunset starts writing in the book. Later, Aldon returned as Sunset finished writing to Twilight in her book. “Just finished?” “Yeah. Hope she gets to it soon.” “Well, Danto texted me. He said they’re all at the music room practicing. Do you want to meet with them?” “Sure, at least it’ll help us pass the time until the games and help me get my mind of this for a bit.” they both started making their way to the music room to practice together as a band. As they were walking in the hallways, Aldon looked as Sunset and smiled. Sunset noticed this as she looked at him, “What?” “Just thinking about stuff in the past. At first, you being a person people were afraid of, then ‘not liked,’ now respected all over the school. I’m surprised on how much stuff like that can change in a couple of weeks.” “Well, I did have help from Equestria and here.” “I know. Like I said, I was just thinking.” a door then swung open at Aldon, hitting him as he landed on his back. He was rubbing his head as Sunset grabbed his hand and helped him up. “Are you okay?” “Yeah, I’m fine.” as soon as he looked at her, they gazed into each others eyes. Their heads started moving slowly towards each other as they closed their eyes. However, Aldon’s phone started buzzing causing both of them to pull back. He checked his phone as he saw a text from Elu saying ‘Are you two heading over here yet? We need more instruments and vocals.’ “We should keep moving to the room.” “R-Right.” before they started making their way to the band room, Aldon grabbed and held Sunset’s hand as she looked down at their hands and at him. He was looking away, blushing as she giggled a small bit as they started heading to the band room. ‘If only El didn’t interrupt us.’ Aldon thought to himself. Chapter 6: The RevealSomething has gone wrong. We don't seem to have an archived copy of that chapter.Chapter 7: Questions and PartyingAldon caught up to Sunset as both of them headed outside. Sunset brought her book and looked into it, seeing blank pages. “Still no reply. Maybe there's another way I could reach her.” she places her hand on the statue when it took hold of it and started taking her magic. “Hey, let go!” Aldon grabbed Sunset’s arm and tried pulling but couldn’t get it off of the statue. After a short time, the statue stopped and let her go as both of them fell to the ground. Sunset looked around the statue, seeing Twilight on the ground also. She stood up before questioning her. “What did you do?!” “Twilight, you have to check in with the others.” Dean Cadance said as Twilight ran from the two while Aldon was about to chase after her when Sunset was worried about something that stopped him from doing so. She felt the wall of the statue and wasn’t able to go through to Equestria. “Where's the portal? Where's the portal?!” Aldon ran to Sunset as he placed his hand on the statue as it glowed and his hand passed through a small bit. He pulled back his arm as looked at Sunset. “We need to get to the others. Come on.” they ran back to the school, needing to tell their friends what happen with Sunset, Twilight, and the portal as soon as possible. They found them back at the music room, changed into different dresses and suits to head to the gym for a meeting with CHS and Crystal Prep. Aldon and Sunset grabbed the clothes Rarity got for them and went to go change in the restroom. After they were done, they told them what happened earlier with Sunset and the portal. “What do ya mean the portal's gone?” “I mean it's gone. It's closed. It's not there anymore!” “How'd that happen?” “I don't know. But it has something to do with that Twilight.” she pointed at Twilight as was looking at her device then bumping into a balloon. “What in tarnation is she up to?” Twilight then bumped into a Crystal Prep student with blue hair and orange goggles, making her drop her drink. “Leave this to me.” Sunset walked to Twilight as Aldon was about to follow when Danto put his hand on his arm and shook his head. “Twilight, what have you been up to?” “Me? Oh, I was just, uh—” “Who wants to know?!” “Um, we do.” “All right, everyone. Let's not get too competitive before the games even start.” “The games aren't really competitive since we've never lost.” “That's not a very nice thing to say.” “Sorry, dearie, but these games aren't about being nice.” “Well, you might use a little tact.” “Okay, I can see why you didn’t want me to go with her this time.” “Yeah. It’s good you’re with her but sometimes she has to handle this herself with a bit of help from her friends.” Twilight was backing away from the conflict when she bumped into Pinkie. “Hi, I'm Pinkie Pie!” she extended her hand to Twilight. “Oh, hi. I'm Twilight.” as she grabbed Pinkie’s hand, she shook it violently making her hair tie and glass loose. “I know. You look just like my friend. Her name is Twilight too.” “That's... heh, weird.” Twilight then fixed her hair and her glasses while Pinkie noticed the small device she had around her neck. “What's that?” “It's sort of a spectrometer. I built it to track EM frequencies, but it can also contain anomalies.” Pinkie looked at her with a smile as Twilight crossed her arms and smiles, “It measures things.” “Like the party?” she points at the ‘party,’ seeing everyone not really conversing and getting to know one another. “Yeah, though it doesn't look like much of a party to me.” “I know. Something is definitely missing. Come on!” she grabbed Twilight’s hand and ran off with her to get some things to make the party better. “Hello, everyone! I'd like to take this opportunity to greet all of our visitors from Crystal Prep Academy and welcome them to CHS.” While Celestia was talking, Pinkie and Twilight were pushing two large presents that were apparently heavy and a bit difficult to move. “What in the world is in these?” “Party cannons, of course!” “And lastly, I would like to recognize the twelve students that CHS has elected to compete. I don't think we could have chosen a better group to represent the excellence, sportsmanship, and friendship the games stand for.” Pinkie started putting her plan into action by replacing the food set on the tables with snacks and desserts, turning off the lights and activating the disco ball, and giving Vinyl a CD as she put in her set and started playing it. This was making the students of both schools to talk and even dance with each other. Pinkie took the party cannons out of the boxes and grabbed the strings, getting ready to pull. “Um, are you sure this is a good idea?” “Absolutely!” she yanked on both strings as both cannons fired confetti into the air and rained down on the party. While the party continued, Pinkie then ponied up as she started levitating similar to when Rarity ponied up before. “Ooh, floaty!” Twilight’s device scanned and started taking the magic that Pinkie had from ponying up as well as making her feel tired and weak. “Aw! Oh. I am party pooped.” The device then shot out a small bolt of lightning under the bleachers as Twilight looked through, seeing a portal open to a forest. She reacted in shock then closing the device as the portal went away and her device powered down. As the party was still going, Principal Cinch tapped on the microphone causing a loud noise of feedback that stopped everything. “I'd like to thank Principal Celestia for her unconventional welcome. It's been four years since the last Friendship Games, but it feels as though nothing has changed. Canterlot High continues to pick its competitors in a popularity contest and Crystal Prep continues to field its top twelve students. It is a comfort to know that even after so many years of losses, your school remains committed to its ideals, however misguided they may be. I wish you all the best of luck, regardless of the inevitable outcome.” As she finished talking, the students in the room separated from CHS and Crystal Prep as they did before the party started. Sunset and her friends regroup as Pinkie was trying to recover from earlier with her walking to the group with her hand on her head. “Oh.” “I'm sorry, Pinkie. I thought your party additions were really swell.” “They definitely broke the ice.” “Yes. If only that Principal Cinch hadn't frozen it again.” “Yeah, she's awful.” “Not to mention she separated the students from Crystal and CHS as if the party wasn’t even there.” El said as he was snacking on a cookie. “Wow, Pinkie, what happened to you?” “I don't know. Everyone started having fun after Twilight and I fired the party cannons and I ponied up.” “Of course you did.” “But then the magic just drained right out of me.” “Wait, what do you mean "drained out of you"?” “Hey. Where is that other Twilight?" “Oh. She's right... Uh, well, she was right here.” “Well, we’ll worry about that later. The Games are going to start tomorrow so let’s call in for today. The sooner and more we get sleep, the better we can try and see what that Twilight is planning.” “Good idea. We’ll see you all later.” they all left the gym and went home for the day, in need of sleep to prepare for the Friendship Games tomorrow. Chapter 9: KindnessTwilight followed the group to the statue and saw most of them head back to the school. She hid behind a pillar to make sure she was not seen. She peeked on the other side seeing Fluttershy open her bag as a cat poked its head out and she nuzzled it. She snuck to her and accidently rustled in the bush, giving herself away. She looked as Fluttershy didn’t really mind her. “Do you wanna give her a treat?” Twilight looked down, seeing if something was wrong with her device but decided to talk to Fluttershy instead. “Guess I'm not the only one to smuggle her pet into school.” “Not just one.” she opened her bag as a bunny, bird, hamster, and the cat came out surprising Twilight. “Oh, wow. All I have is Spike.” she opened her bag as Spike poked his head out and Fluttershy pick him up. “It really is uncanny. Does he talk?” “Um, not that I know of.” “Congratulations on winning, by the way. Though, it didn't seem like anyone on your team was very excited about it.” “No one at my school gets excited about anything they didn't do themselves.” “That sounds awful.” Twilight looked away as Fluttershy looked around, seeing if she could make her feel better. She then picked up the bunny and walked to her. “Here. Hold this.” “Um, why?” although confused, she grabbed the bunny and held it. “Holding a bunny always makes me feel better.” “Well, that's ridiculous. But... ” the bunny then started to nuzzle at Twilight as she couldn’t help but feel happy, “Ooh. It actually kind of works.” she then realized something and stopped petting the bunny, “I'm on the other team and you just lost. Why are you being so nice to me?” “You looked like you needed it.” Fluttershy then started ponying up as she levitated with the same process happening with Rainbow Dash, Pinkie Pie, and Rarity. “Whoa!” her device then activated as it opened up and started draining Fluttershy from her magic. However, it shorted out and created a few portals around them with a Jackalope jumping out of one. It landed near Spike as he growled and started chasing after it while barking. He was travelling through the portals trying to catch the animal while the device was still draining Fluttershy’s magic. “Spike!” as soon as the name left Twilight’s mouth, Spike exited through a portal into the magic stream from Fluttershy to the device. “Spike!” Twilight ran to them and closed the device as Fluttershy handed Spike to Twilight. She grabbed him and hugged him close. “Spike, are you okay?” “Um, I think so.” they both looked at each other for a second before screaming as Twilight dropped her dog and ran off screaming, “Twilight, wait!” Spike started chasing after her with both of them leaving Fluttershy behind. “Bye.” she stood up and tried to walk when she fell to her knees, still feeling a bit weak after the device drained her magic. Clem walked toward the sound and saw Fluttershy trying to stand up. “Fluttershy!” he ran to her side helping her up, “You okay?” “Yeah.” “What happened? I came back out here to grab my phone when I heard someone fall here. But I saw Twilight running from Spike and… Wait, it was her wasn’t it?” “How did you know?” “I’ll explain later, let’s go tell the others.” before they left, they gathered the animals that was in Fluttershy’s backpack and put them back in. After they were done, they started making their way to the school with Clem helping her get to the door. Chapter 10: RealizationWhen they entered the school, Fluttershy was able to start walking again as Clem texted his friends where they were and what they needed to tell them. When they arrived, they began to explain to them what happened. “Okay. To start things off I was getting my phone near the statue when I heard someone fall in the bushes next to it. When I got there, I found Fluttershy on the ground trying to stand up like she was tired out all of a sudden.” “How did that happen?” “Take a guess on who was running from the scene.” “Twilight.” “Yep. But Fluttershy knows what happened though. I was only there to see what happened after.” “What did you do that got you ‘tired out’?” “All I did was hand Twilight a bunny then I ponied up. After that, Twilight's pendant thingy just pulled the magic right out of me. I couldn't even stand up.” “I just don't get it. Rarity's magic came out when she made us outfits. Pinkie's when she fixed the party and now Fluttershy.” “And soon after that’s when Clem, found you and helped you get to the school?” “That’s right.” “So let’s review then. Twilight got the magic from Rarity after she made the outfits, Pinkie from throwing the party, and Fluttershy from ‘handing’ her a bunny.” “So she's stealing magic?” “I don't know. She doesn't seem like the magic-stealin' type.” “Yeah, but she had something to do with closing the portal. If her pendant can pull in magic, maybe it stole the portal too.” as soon as Sunset said this, Aldon start thinking back on what happened when Sunset couldn’t get through. He also remember that although she wasn’t able to pass through, somehow he would have be able to. “How?” It was then Aldon had a epiphany on the question. “Because she didn’t steal the portal, she stole the magic that was need to go THROUGH the portal!” “What?” “Okay, everyone think about it like this. Every time someone ‘ponies up’ and their near Twilight, they start to get drained from their magic to her pendant thing.” he then looked at Sunset, “My guess for your problem with the portal is when you touched the statue, Twilight must’ve drained you from the magic through the statue itself. Combine that with Twilight falling from behind the statue, it looks like that thing has a bit of range to it. From what I can guess, it seems like it has a range of at least 5 to 6 feet. Maybe around 7.” “So would that be the max of how far it could try and drain their magic?” “Probably but who knows of if it could go further then that. All I can say is we’ll have to be careful being around her. Especially Rainbow and Applejack. Those two are the only ones who she hasn’t drained yet.” “I’ll try to keep Dash in check.” Danto said standing by Rainbow Dash. Clem walked to Applejack and spoke. “I’ll get AJ.” “Then that means me and El will have to keep an eye on Twilight and make sure she doesn’t cause more trouble than there is.” “Okay Al, let’s calm down. For now, let's just focus on beating the Shadowbolts. And as long as this event puts me in a playing field, I don't think we've got anything to worry about.” They all exited out of the building into the field as Applejack was the first to speak on Rainbow’s comment. “Oh, it puts you on a playin' field, alright.” she pointed as everyone looked seeing 3 various fields for the Friendship Games 2nd event. They saw a dirt track on the outside, archery in the center, and a roller skate rink in between the two. “Oh.” “My.” “Goodness.” “Am I the only one who thinks this is overkill?” they heard someone sniffing as they looked to see El trying not to cry. “You okay El?” He covered his eyes and looked away from the event. “I’m fine just…” he sniffed, “Just so much shock and amazement in so little time. I can only bare so much.” Clem sighed as he walked to El and hugged him. El started crying from the sight of the event, barely able to witness the amount of work the people put into on making it. “There there, let it out.” While this was happening, Applejack walked up to the dirt track and kicked it, making sure it was stable. She looked at Rarity as she then spoke. “I don't suppose you made motocross outfits.” “Oh, don't be ridiculous. Of course I did!” The doors opened as students started coming out and taking a seat in the bleachers. “It looks like the next event’s about to start. Who’s getting what?” “Me and Sunset got motocross.” Rainbow said as she high fived Sunset. “Pinkie and I will handle the roller rink.” Rarity said. “Then it looks like you and me will get the archery Fluttershy.” Applejack said to Fluttershy, who seem a little nervous about it. “O-Okay.” Clem walked up to her and placed a hand on her shoulder. “Don’t worry Fluttershy, we’ll be cheering for all of you in the stands.” “Thanks Clem.” El nudged Danto as he pointed at himself, making a shoving gesture, and touched his fingertips all together. Danto smiled and covered his mouth trying not to laugh but shook his head in response. El rolled his eyes before speaking. “Let’s just go find some seats before the good ones are taken.” “Be careful out there.” Aldon said to Sunset as she nodded. Danto gave Rainbow a quick kiss before heading to the bleachers. “Good luck Dash.” “Thanks.” Chapter 11: The Second EventAuthor's Note Hey guys. Just a small side note here, this is going to be mostly on Danto and his friends because I'm not going to be switching back and forth with them and the Mane 6 so sorry if you were expecting that. I will bring up a few thing that happened to make sure this keeps going where it needs to go. Chapter 11: The Second Event Everyone was cheering as Dean Cadance spoke to the microphone to everyone that was there. “Welcome, everyone to the Friendship Games Tricross Relay! In this event, our qualifying competitors will face off in archery, speed skating, and finally, motocross. So if the competitors are ready…” she then blew a air horn as Fluttershy and her opponent started running through the archer course. “Each competitor must hit a bullseye before their teammates can start the next leg of the relay.” the Crystal Prep student got the arrows and her bow first as she wound back and fired 3 arrows at the target, with one of them hitting the bullseye. Twilight started running when her leg was caught by one of the hay bales. A little bit after this happened, Fluttershy hit the board but not a bullseye. Twilight swung but she barely landed, catching herself on the corner with the tip of her boot. This time, Fluttershy, took a deep breath and fired an arrow, hitting a bullseye. The students cheered as Applejack went next. She then hit a bullseye as everyone cheered loudly. Pinkie and Rarity started going around the roller rink after their light turned green. “And Canterlot is off to an early lead!” “Hey, look.” Danto pointed at the archer course as they looked, seeing Applejack going to Twilight and start talking to her. “Oh no, what is she doing?” “Team spirit, that’s what.” “No. Helping gets to trust and trust equals honest all together. What do you think will happen then?” “Uh oh.” “Well we can't say anything here, we’ll get in trouble.” “But if we don’t then-” “Then that’s means we just missed our opportunity.” they saw Applejack pony up as the device instantly started draining her magic. Aldon ran his hand through his head, feeling more stressed. “Agh! That leaves Rainbow on the ‘draining magic’ list. Danto, you HAVE to get her away from Twilight.” “I’ll try to but I can’t do that now. We’ll get disqualified if I do.” “But if we can’t stop Twilight, then that means we’ll have more magic problems to deal with later.” “Aw. Why did we have to hit the crossroads?!” “We’ll just have to hang tight until this event is over. They still have a few laps to go and then it’s the motocross.” “Hey guys, does plant life usual grow on roller rinks?” “What kind of question is that?” “I’m just curious. Also there’s living plant life on the field that might attack both schools.” “What?!” they saw a large branch appear from a portal, trying to catch Twilight, “That can’t be good.” “Should we do something now?” it was then Pinkie and the students from Crystal Prep passed through the finish line for the 8th time as the light for the motocross racers turned green and they began to ride through the dirt course. “Well, they’re already on the motocross so we’ll just have to wait it out.” “Are you crazy? El just pointed out plant life is ready to attack at anyone.” “But this is the final stretch of the event, can’t you hold out a few more minutes?” Aldon looked back and forth at the plants, and the racers. He groaned, knowing he’d regret it. “Okay, I’ll try to. But if Twilight gets Rainbow and you start losing it, we’re holding you back AND getting you away from the scene. Deal?” “Deal.” they looked back to see a giant plant come through a portal and almost hit Rainbow off of her bike. “Okay, things are really starting to hit the fan pretty badly.” as soon as El finished the sentence, Sunset slid under the plants bite but fell off of her bike in the process. “Sunset!” “Like I said.” Rainbow Dash stopped the bike and turned around. She then drove toward Sunset as the plant was about to dive and try to catch her. Luckily, she grabbed her right before the plant bit into the ground. “That’s my girl Dash!” When they stopped, Rainbow Dash ponied up with wings as Danto started to become worried. “That's not good.” “Well, as long as she’s away from Twilight, we’re okay.” “Yeah, but now they’re dealing with plants that want to have a snack from another world.” a Crystal Prep student fell into a hole made the plant as it pulled itself out. It was about to chomp them when Rainbow Dash punched it and flew away as its attention was focused on her. “Come on Dash, you got this.” “They’re so close to the end. Go Sunset!” As soon as the Crystal Prep student got out of the hole, it became a race between them and Sunset. However, a plant was chasing them when Rainbow charged and took down the creature, saving both of the racers. They neared the finish line, both trying to out race the other as Sunset was the first to cross. “Canterlot wins!” the students of CHS cheered loudly while those at Crystal Prep looked in disbelief. “Attention Students, please make your way to the gym.” Finally, Twilight was able to close her device as the plants started to disappear and the portals closing. The students from both schools did as told as they started to head to the gym. Danto and his friends ran to regroup with the rest of their friends. “Is everybody alright?” “Better than alright. We won!” Danto ran to Rainbow and hugged her then kissed her in both excitement and worry. “I thought you were going to be plant food.” “They didn’t have anything on me.” Danto smiled and chuckled lightly, “Right.” “Yeah we won, but somebody could've been seriously hurt. The magic is going haywire and I have no idea how to fix it!” they turned toward Twilight as she spoke up, hearing the situation. “Um, excuse me, I didn't mean for any of this to happen. I just wanted to learn about the strange energy coming from your school. I didn't know that it was magic or... how it works.” “That's okay. Neither do we.” Rainbow said as she walked towards Twilight while Danto realized what she was doing. “Rainbow, wait!” But it was too late. The device picked up Rainbow’s magic and started to drain hers as Twilight was trying to close it. “Oh, no! Oh, no no no! Not again!” Danto was about to charge to grab and destroy the device when Clem and Aldon grabbed him by the arms. “Don’t do it man, it’s not worth it!” “Whoever messes with Rainbow messes with me!” “Come on, let’s get him out of here.” they started pulling him back as Danto was still seeing his girlfriend being drain from magic. It was then he snapped and started shouting. “YOU!!! WHY DID YOU TRY TO INVESTIGATE MAGIC IN THE FIRST PLACE?!?! IT WAS NEVER MEANT TO BE RESEARCHED LET ALONE MESSED WITH!!! YOU SHOULD HAVE NEVER CAME HERE!!! YOU NEVER SHOULD HAVE BEEN INTERESTED IN THE FIRST PLACE!!!” he continued shouted as Aldon and Clem get him inside. Chapter 12: Aggression and CareSomething has gone wrong. We don't seem to have an archived copy of that chapter.Chapter 13: The Final EventHe ran to the front of the school then went outside and was immediately shocked. He looked around, seeing portals opened to another world with Twilight turned into a sort of demon. He saw in the center seeing the student from both schools trying to help those who were about to fall into the portal. He saw his friends trying to help a few of the students as he ran to them. He grabbed the collar of El’s jacket and pulled him back, helping him and the student he was trying to save. “Good thing you wear that.” “Same here.” “We can’t keep this up. We have to stop her.” “How? Our instruments are back in the music room and we need to help the students around here.” Aldon then noticed Pinkie and Fluttershy glowing and realized what was about to happen. “I think someone else has that covered.” He pointed at Sunset who was holding the device and aimed it at her friends, causing them to glow. They then got the idea as they decided to use this to get the students away from the portals and hid them underneath the bleachers. “This isn't the way! I know you feel powerful right now, like you can have everything you want! I've been where you are, I've made the same mistake you're making! I put on a crown and, just like you, I was overwhelmed by the magic it contained! I thought it could get me everything I wanted!” “Oh, you're wrong. Unlike you, I can have everything I want!” “No, you can't. Even with all that magic and power, you'll still be alone! True magic comes from honesty! Loyalty! Laughter! Generosity! Kindness! I understand you, Twilight, and I want to show you the most important magic of all…” she threw the device to the ground, breaking it and releasing the magic within to herself. She then turned into a being of magic similar to Twilight as she spoke to her, “The magic of friendship.” Twilight looked at her in surprise as Sunset closed the portals except for the one in the center of the courtyard. Twilight growled then charged at Sunset as she did to her. They both threw a punch that caused a bright light to flash from the impact. They both back away and charged then fired a blast of energy to each other, making a stand off of power. Twilight started using more, causing Sunset to start losing. Spike then jumped out in the open and called out his owner. “Twilight!” she looked down, seeing Spike looking at her scared. She then realized what she was doing as her eyes returned to normal. “Spike…” This, however, caused Twilight to forget that she was attacking Sunset. She then used this moment to overpower Twilight’s energy with hers. “NOOO!!!” A very bright flash emitted in the area. After a few seconds, everything started returning back to normal with the portal in the center of the school disappeared. Sunset and Twilight returned in their regular form. “I am so sorry... I didn't mean for any of this to happen…” “I know. And going by my own experiences, they'll forgive you.” Sunset grabbed Twilight’s hand as she smiled. Spike barked then jumped at Twilight, holding her glasses as she laughed. Principal Cinch came out from the bleachers, looked around, and walked toward Principal Celestia with anger. “Principal Celestia, on behalf of Crystal Prep, I demand that you forfeit the Friendship Games! Clearly, CHS has had unfair advantage for quite some time! And it's certainly obvious that your students have been using magic for their own benefit!” “I'd like to think that saving the world benefits us all.” “At least they didn't manipulate Twilight into releasing all the stolen magic and turning into a power-crazed magical creature that tried to rip the world apart just to win a game.” Everyone looked at Sugarcoat, surprised she summarized what happened a few minutes ago. “Wow! That's a lot to take in when you say it all at once.” “That's ridiculous!” “Nope, that's pretty much what happened.” Sour Sweet then spoke in a sorrowful way to Twilight. “Actually, we're all to blame.” She then spoke in a upset way and looked at Principal Cinch, “Mostly it was her.” “Obviously my students have been infected with your magic, but I plan on taking all of this up with the school board!” “Good. I'm sure they would be very interested in hearing all about the magical students with wings.” “Oh, and the portals to different dimensions.” “And don't forget to tell them about the talking dog.” “Because that would never ruin your reputation.” Principal Cinch looked around, seeing the students from both schools looking at her to see what she’ll do next. She was about to snap when she simple fixed her shirt and walked away. “Well, I know these Friendship Games haven't been what any of us expected, but given what we've all just been through, I think it's fair to declare us all winners.” Everyone from both schools cheered and Applejack threw her hat in the air from excitement. Aldon saw this chance as an opportunity. He quickly pulled Sunset to him and kissed her. She was surprised but accepted the kiss as their friends watched with joy. “Told ya they’d do it.” “Who said I didn’t believe you?” “Good point.” Epilogue"And that’s that people. Oh, and if your wondering what happened next, Twilight transferred to CHS and the everyone welcomed her. Overall, the Friendship Games were or maybe more of a disaster then the Battle of the Bands but hey. That’s Canterlot High for you.” “You enjoying the stories Insanity?” “How long were you standing there and hearing that?” “Around the ending.” “Well, I told the story for you about the Friendship Games so that’s another one crossed off. Hey, don’t you guys have to perform later?” “Yeah. We came back because Aldon wants to play guitar but he might needs those things from the Battle of the Bands.” “Alright, let’s go.” They all go to the gym were the Shredders and the Rainbooms were on the stage ready to play. However, they looked around seeing where Sunset was. “Have you guys seen Sunset?” “No, but give it a second.” the doors opened as Sunset walked in blindfolded with Aldon guiding her to a chair in the middle of the gym. The girls could barely hold their excitement from seeing both of them together as Aldon’s friends gestured ‘Get up here.’ “Alright, don’t take off the blindfold until I say.” he gets onto the stage and grabs a guitar. “Okay, you can look.” Sunset took off the blindfold and gasped, seeing the Shredders ready to play. “This one's for you Sunset.” Aldon looked at El and nodded as he began to play. After he finished, Aldon got off of the stage and walked toward Sunset, who ran and hugged him tightly with tears in her eyes. “I love you Sunset.” “I love you too.” they both kissed as their friends applauded. For them, it was another day at Canterlot High. Author's Note There. That's another one done. Also, sorry if this wasn't as 'good' as the other one. I was sort of rushing this so I could get to the next story that I'm currently working on, in which I am excited to get to. I'll try to post the chapters of that one as much as I can so don't think I've left you all yet. Anyway, see you all in the next story. Prologue“Hello everyone. If you're wondering, no it’s not Danto. I’m his ‘self-aware personality,’ Insanity. If you want to know where he is, it's simple. Ever since him and Rainbow kissed and are now boyfriend and girlfriend after the Battle of the Bands with Danto’s party, they’ve been hanging out more often with the romance of making out here and there. Speaking of an event that got out of hand, there just so happen another event like this a few days ago called the Friendship Games. It was some event that CHS holds for ‘friendly competition’ with their rivalry school Crystal Prep Academy in academics, sports, etc. And there's a special 'guest' that will be in this as you say in the description, don't ask how I know, that might change how this will be. Since Danto isn’t here, I’ll explain what happened from Danto’s point of view. Enjoy!” Chapter 8: The First EventThe Next Day… Everyone went back to the school, ready to start off the Friendship Games. Vice Principal Luna made an announcement before the start of the Games. “Good morning, students. I'm sure you're all thrilled to start the first day of the Friendship Games. Our competitors will face off in every aspect of the CHS curriculum, culminating in the elimination equation finale.” As she finished, Danto and his friends were setting up a TV Screen and a camera to stream the event throughout the school. “Is it finished?” “Just about. Let’s test it.” Clem turned on the TV and the camera then aimed the camera at Aldon who was looking down at the laptop, making sure the footage was getting through. “It’s good. Now, let’s get this going.” They all went to the entrance where the students stood, waiting to hear the announcement of the event. “Welcome to the first event, the Academic Decathlon! You'll be scored on chemistry, home-ec and everything in between. But remember, only the six students from each team with the most points will move on to event number 2. Good luck!” “Incorrect!” Sunset was shocked then looked down in defeat as a camera flashed from one of the students. They sat down, not meaning to take a photo of the loss on the first event. “That means the winner of the Friendship Games' first event is Twilight Sparkle and Crystal Prep!” There was a scatter of applauses from the students from Crystal Prep and a few sighs as if they’ve been through this before, in which they have. Sunset’s friends ran onto the stage to congratulate her despite their loss. “That was awesome!” “Truly amazing!” “But we didn't win!” “That was as close to winnin' as Canterlot's ever been.” “After a careful tally of the points, we'd like to present the students moving on to the Friendship Games' second event.” the students of CHS applauded as Sunset and her friends cheer while the student representing Crystal Prep barely showed any emotion. Twilight walked off the stage as Flash went to go and congratulate her. “Congratulations! You were really great!” Twilight’s device started humming as she looked down at it. “I'm sorry. Excuse me.” She walked away and started following where her device was pointing her at. “Okay, then. Aw.” El walked to him and patted him on the shoulder. “Don’t worry man. Just give everything time and she or someone will fall for you.” “Thanks.” El walked away to join his friends as they were heading back to the statue. “You only said that to make him feel better didn’t you?” “A little.”
Chapter 1: False EmergencyAuthor's Note Alright everyone, I'm back after being gone and not really working on this for a while.

Chapter 3: Partial AnswerAfter they made it to the library and explained what happened, they all started looking around on the shelves to see if they can connect anything that Aldon and Sunset said.

Chapter 7: Questions and PartyingAldon caught up to Sunset as both of them headed outside.
“Good luck Dash.” “Thanks.”
Chapter 11: The Second EventAuthor's Note Hey guys.
We don't seem to have an archived copy of that chapter.
Chapter 13: The Final EventHe ran to the front of the school then went outside and was immediately shocked. “Told ya they’d do it.” “Who said I didn’t believe you?” “Good point.”
Epilogue"And that’s that people.
Enjoy!”
Chapter 8: The First EventThe Next Day… Everyone went back to the school, ready to start off the Friendship Games.
