Chapter 1: False Emergency
Danto was watching TV at Rainbow’s house with the fact of everything being on a normal schedule, go to school, hangout with his girlfriend and their friends, go home and go to bed. It was until his phone made a bell ding sound meaning he had a text received. Though bored and a little bit tired, he moved his arm to the phone, turned it on, and read it.
“Emergency. Everyone come quick.” he said as he went back to watching tv only to realize what the text said, “EMERGENCY!!!” he got up and started running to the school as quick as possible.
He made it to the school as did everyone else. Sunset was the first to ask what the problem was, “I got your text Rainbow Dash, did something come through the portal?"
"Is magic on the loose again?" Aldon asked nervously.
“A giant cake monster covered all the cakes in the world with cake?!” Pinkie shouted pulling out 2 cupcakes and eating them both at the same time.
“Uh, not exactly.”
“Um, I don’t understand.”
“Well Sunset, I was telling Rainbow Dash that a broken guitar string doesn't really qualify as an emergency.”
“It totally does.”
“Really Rainbow Dash? I was in the middle of sewing a very complex alcapa on my latest frock.”
“And I was just about to tuck everyone in for the night at the shelter. Now I’ll have to start stories all over again.”
“Dash, why did you send us all a text for a guitar string? You could've asked me and I would've brought you one instead of having ALL of us come here.”
“Well, I was going to pony up and show our fans some awesome guitar licks, but I kinda need all 6 strings to do it. Got any extras? And what were you doing while I was trying to play?”
"Watching TV, being bored for a bit." Sunset then handed Rainbow a guitar string from her bag.
“Here. But I thought everyone finished practicing. I’m pretty sure all the music rooms are locked.” Rainbow took the old string and replaced it with the new one.
“No problem. The acoustic in the hallways are perfect for power chords.” Rainbow said as she strummed all of the strings. “Come on let’s go.” They followed her into the school while Sunset was watching them leave.
“You coming Sunset?”
“I’ll catch up in a bit.”
Aldon was about to walk through the doors to follow his friends when he looked down at Sunset as she was about to write in her journal to Princess Twilight. He then remembered what Twilight said to him before she went back to Equestria.
“Remember, this isn’t goodbye. I’ll be back.” He started thinking to himself.
‘Hm… She may come back. But since she might be busy in Equestria though. I guess I'll have to find someone else that's like her.’ “Hey Sunset.”
She turned to Aldon standing over her, “Oh, Hey Aldon. Aren’t you going with them and listening to Rainbow play?”
“Eh, listening to the same kind of genre can be kind of boring every now and then.”
“Well, you do have a point there. But that doesn’t really explain why you haven’t gone with them.”
“I thought you wanted some company. If you wanted me to join them, I could.”
‘Why is he staying with me and not with them? Oh well, I guess I'll worry about that later.’ “I guess I could use the company.” She said as Aldon sat beside her and was seeing what she would write.
'Dear Princess Twilight, How’s life treating you in Equestria? Any cool new magic spells? It’s been pretty quiet here since the Battle of the Bands. We still pony up when we play music, which Rainbow dash just loves to show off. But I still can’t grasp what it’s all about. I would love to hear you think about it, when you get a sec. Your friend, Sunset Shimmer.'
‘Yeah I think she could be the one.’ Aldon thought.
