It was an amazing day in Ponyville. The sun was shining, the birds were singing, and everypony was out in the streets, whether it be for shopping, socializing, or just generally having a walk. Scootaloo and Rainbow Dash were trotting down the street, when the bumped into Pinkie. As usual, she was hopping everywhere.

"R-r-r-r" Pinkie started to say, her voice getting louder with each 'r' "RAINBOW DASH~!"

Rainbow winced a little and a lot of ponies had looked in their direction at Pinkies loud and sudden outburst.

"Right~...." Rainbow said, still not sure what had just happened. "Pinkie, you're so random."

Pinkie nodded so violently, Rainbow was afraid he head would've fallen off. She started jumping circles around the the duo and this continued on for a good few minutes before Rainbow finally cracked.

"OKAY! Pinkie! God, what do you want?"

"Don't you remember?! You told me that you wanted to meet me and our friends by Sugarcube corner, and we're here!"

Rainbow looked around, realising that Pinkie, was, indeed, correct. She must've been lost in though, and had lost track of time and where they were.

"OH! Right..." Dash laughed awkwardly.

So they stood there in silence for a while, waiting for the rest of their friends. Well, it would've been silent, apart from Pinkie hopping and screaming every 5 seconds.

"Oh~ I love surprises! I love, love, love, love them! Do you like surprises, Dash?! Do you?! Actually don't answer that, I already know, because everypony loves surprises especially when they're surprise parties! You like parties don't you?! Oh, is that a bird?! I love birds!" Pinkie squealed excitedly.

Rainbow was trying to hard not to suddenly scream, but luckily Pinkie stopped when she saw the rest of their friends approaching.

"Hey, Rainbow Dash. What did you want us here for, exactly?" Twilight spoke in her normal, calm tone.

Rarity, Twilight, Fluttershy and Applejack were all approaching Dash. They all stared at her expectantly for a while, before Dash inhaled, closed her eyes, exhaled and then started to talk.

"So... Well... um... Scootaloo and I...." She trailed off.

"Me and Rainbow Dash are together!" Scootaloo exclaimed

Rainbow internally cringed, as she studied her friend's expressions. They were unreadable. So they stood there for a while, awkwardly staring at each other, not knowing what to do or say next. Eventually, Applejack spoke up.

"Well... as long as they're both fine with it, ah don't suppose ah'd mind."

Everyone nodded in agreement. Everyone but Twilight. All eyes turned to her, expecting a positive answer from her.

"I... I guess it's okay..." Twilight answered under pressure, still not fully confident that they loved each other truly.

Dash whispered to Scootaloo and Scootaloo nodded her head, smiling in both embarrassment and excitement. Rainbow beckoned Twilight over. She obeyed, trotting over to the two. Rainbow whispered something into Twilight's ear, and Twilight thought for a moment, before nodding slowly.

"And, just so you know, Twilight, I've done my homework. In some books I've been reading, relationships between a filly and a mare are totally allowed in Ponyville. They're just uncommon."

But, little did they know, Twilight wasn't worried about the law, Twilight was concerned whether or not Dash was using Scootaloo.
