The odd life of Damian Inkwell
Damian inkwell a 17 year old blue unicorn with light blond messy hair and blue eyes wakes up to the sound of whirring of the machines that are launching off at full speed for the printing presses that are making the dally papers. He sighed and took a breath standing up and closed his window wanting to keep the fresh air in outside a line of smoke was flowing towards there building again and he knew it be one of those days. He walks over to his filing cabinet he's using to hold sweaters, two guns and one special book and one special quill. He takes a sec to check his blue/grey sweater. It so faded he couldn't tell which it was. He looks at the hole in it from the other night when he was in a knife fight down a alley and has a objective for today of getting it patched.
"Ugh.. fuck.. of course that bitch had a knife.. I can't wait to get my hoofs on her.." he stops talking hearing hoof steps past his room then continues to silently curse to himself. He was rather scared of his family knowing he really does as if that happened he'd be working on the presses for the full month. He opened the container on it that had the 500-500 magnum with the 4 full boxes of ammo, it's a big badass magnum he took it from some idiot that grabbed the biggest gun without knowing how to use it. Then took the sawed off 12 gage shotgun he stole from a dying pony in a alley that he still had to buy ammo for. He now realized he had another thing to do today now and sighs adding them to the list he then grabbed his book and quill the journal he writes his life in so if he fucks up and dies everyone will know what he's done up till then.
"Fuck me.." he puts them in his bag along with two ammo boxes for the magnum and as he opened the door he sees his sis standing there chuckling having heard him
"You couldn't convince a two bit whore to do that I doubt asking a imaginary friend is any better" firefly a light red Pegasus that had fire red hair and feathers a brighter red then her body colour who was his sister laughs and flys off before he can say anything she about to do the paper route with her 6 friends, it a rather dangerous route alone and only half as safe with that large of a group.
"Fuck off firefly.. I'm not in the mood." Damian rolls his eyes and trotted down the falling apart oak wooden hall and through a metal door into the factory area which was full of trees and random machines. He walks on the cat walk and hops down onto a few machines of different functions before reaching the ground and walks over to a group of unicorns that included his father. "hey dad I'm headed towards the east store district and the northwestern skyliner district anything you need?"
Inkpot a unicorn that had similar colours to Damian other then his grey hair had on his bulletproof vest. He was wearing one because he's had some ass hats that are trying to take the area from him keep coming by with more and more firepower. "A red pack of cigarettes because you got a 50 50 chance at it and any scrap metal gears or whatever the fuck you find. Also you find on any worn down carts you pass give me a call and a location. Please try not to get shot and avoid guards. I don't want to fuck around with flim flam incorporated because you got your bitch ass caught. Got it?"
"Yeah. I'll be off. Good luck today. I'd recommend the m36 and the fire rounds against the fuck boys if they try to brake in again." He smiled and they gave each other a nod before Damian made his way to the kitchen and made himself a few peanut butter and jelly sandwich which he ate one of and stored four more in his bag all well walking and he waited till he was done the first one by the door. "Dam.. we need to get some strawberry makers in here.. we'd sell the shit like silver horseshoes."
He now done the sandwich pulls his small muzzle mask out as he knows he's going to be walking though a lot of smog as they are still trying to smoke his dad out of the place. This being done by the film flam corporation for the reason of they want to take this district down and build gambling district number three. Inkpot has other ideas and wants to bring this section back to life and he isn't bugging. His section was a mostly dead his father having the only building still working well and strong in this area and the only place stoping film and flam from flattening the place.
He walks though the dense smoke using magic holding the magnums handle and almost pulls it out as his friend bigshot a dark brown unicorn with his per usual green and black tie he just a year younger then Damian jumped him from the side landing on his back
"Hey fucker nugget. Took you long enough? Nightmare last night or lady friend?" He and Damian share a few laughs
"Oh fuck off ya cunt muffin. I got to do some things today. Get some smokes. Get my sweater fixed. Buy some ammo. And possibly find some whore and make her cough up my missing bits." He had a frown realizing he wasn't feeling his bit bag with his magic "fucking shit.. she took the entire bag.."
"Look buddy. I've got a proposal you shouldn't refuse if you've got two shitty but functional brain cells to spare." Bigshot always being one to find ways to get bits or scam someone blind Damian was interested in what he had to offer
"Go on" Damian said giving a weary eye toward his friend having realized he was smiling for the first time in a few months which made him nervous thinking he snapped "we..." he suddenly got very quiet and whispered in Damians ear "we start a fucking mob or mafia. I don't know what it's called. Either way the pay is good for both of us. And we won't have to work our way up under some stupid boss or power player"
Damian thought about this and nods he having nothing better to do. "Sure why the fuck not. What's our first target.?" He says quietly
"Lets head to the red light district of town after your done your shit and find that mare that cut you up and stole your shit." He said slowly then Damian remembered something he needed to do.
"First tho.. I need to do some shit. I also need to check on something else you reminded me of in private. Got it?" He starts walking the one way towards a alley
"Got it inkwell. Call me when your ready and tell me where you are" he smiled brightly excited Damian actually accepted the offer he had made him and ran off
"Well.. this day got interesting.." he says as he entered the alley and pulls out his journal writing down everything that happened so far today. "Lets hope it stays this way"
He took a breath and waited for a bus to show up he standing at a street corner flustered as he was actually scared of the bus he never once having a good experience on one.
"Come on come on.." he saw the bus coming but he also heard a gunshot in the distance which made him and multiple others jump pulling out weapons looking around then everyone slowly put down there weapons and Damian felt a lot safer around the group suddenly because he knows multiple ponys are going on ready to fight if some shit brakes loose.
Slowly along with the others he got on the bus. And sat at the back it heading towards the east store district as he was going to get the smokes first before anything else.
And during all this he watches outside of the car keeping track of any broken carts they passed and he wrote them down in his book as more appeared every few days. He was curious why there were so many but it became clear to him as he saw someone leaving one in front of a pawn shop taking the valuable parts off. Bits. Bits were why there were cars everywhere and he then realized how close he was to the gamblers district. He believed and understood this and once he stood up to get off he realized he had sat on spitting Tabasco that had been on the black warm seat
