"I'm so gonna have a fun time there." Ian thought. And Ian thought of the possibilities that could happen. When the train arrived at the station, Ian got off the train and he was at Canterlot. "This is gonna be quite an adventure." said Ian. Meanwhile a unicorn named Moondancer was looking pretty glum. Everywhere she looked she saw fillies with their special someponies on Hearts and Hooves Day. "I sure wish I had a special somepony." Moondancer said to herself as she walked sadly away. Back with Ian he was busy stuffing himself with lots of food. "Man I could stuff my face with food for hours." said Ian as he shoved a carrotdog down his throat. Later as Ian was walking to the hotel to stay for a few days, he saw Moondancer crying. "Oh the poor filly." Ian thought. So Ian went up to her. "Hey, what's the matter?" Ian asked. Moondancer looked up at Ian. "I don't have a special somepony for Hearts and Hooves Day." Moondancer answered. "Oh I'm so sorry." Ian sympathized. "I don't have a marefriend and everywhere I looked in Ponyville, some ponies I seen either don't like me or already have a coltfriend." Ian explained. "Oh. I'm sorry." said Moondancer as she got up and dried her eyes. Ian thought of an idea. "Would you like to be my marefriend on this special day?" he asked. "Yes please." said Moondancer as she smiled. Later at the Canterlot library Ian and Moondancer were getting to know each other. "I'm actually a friend of Twilight Sparkle." said Moondancer. "Oh I never knew." said Ian. Moondancer told Ian about one time Twilight came to see her. "Wow. That's so cool." Ian said as he wiped a tear from his eye. "I know." said Moondancer. After that Ian and Moondancer were walking until all the sudden, Ian slipped on a banana peel and crashed into a lightpost. Moondancer gasped and ran up to Ian. "Ian are you ok?" she asked. "I think so." said Ian as he got back up. Later Ian checked in for the room he and Moondancer would stay in for the vacation. They went into the room they were staying in and layed on their bed. "I do like your glasses and sweater." said Ian. "Aww why Thank You." said Moondancer. Ian then had a sly grin on his face. "What are you doing?" asked Moondancer. "This!" exclaimed Ian and he gave Moondancer a hug. Moondancer smiled and hugged Ian back. Later that night Ian and Moondancer were looking at the stars. "It sure is beautiful tonight." said Moondancer "I-It s-sure i-is." said Ian as he was freezing. Moondancer turned to Ian. "Ian are you cold?" Moondancer asked? "Y-Yes. I-I a-am." Ian answered as he shivered. Moondancer pulled out an extra sweater like the one she was wearing. "Here you can wear one of my sweaters." said Moondancer as she used her magic to slip the sweater onto Ian. "Thanks." said Ian who was now feeling warm and toasty. "You're Welcome Ian." said Moondancer. The next day Ian and Moondancer were on a walk to the Canterlot library. Just then a cart raced by and a blob of mud got all over Moondancer's glasses. "Oh great I got mud all over my glasses." said Moondancer in an annoyed tone. "I'll get it." said Ian as he pulled out a paper towel, soaked it in some water, and wiped the mud off Moondancer's glasses. "Thanks Ian." said Moondancer. Then the two ponies continued their walk to the Canterlot Library. At the library, Ian and Moondancer were busy talking about what they like to do a lot in their everyday lives. "I like to create movies and cartoons." said Ian. "I bet that's fun." said Moondancer. "It is." said Ian. "What do you like to do?" he asked. "I like to read." said Moondancer. "I bet you boys find reading boring don't you." she said. "Actually I find reading very educational and also fun too." said Ian. Moondancer was surprised. "You do?" she asked. "I do." said Ian. "Well in that case, I find art to be full of culture." said Moondancer. "I'm glad you do." said Ian. Later Ian and Moondancer were having lunch at the Canterlot Café "Boy I'm so hungry I could eat a whole bus." said Ian as he rubbed him tummy. The waiter arrived at Ian and Moondancer's table. "What would you two like?" the waiter asked? "I would like some spaghetti." said Ian. "Me too." said Moondancer. "Your order will be ready in a few minutes." said the waiter and he went to go tell the chef the order. "I didn't know you liked spaghetti." said Ian who was in shock. Moondancer giggled. "It's ok. I didn't know you liked spaghetti either." she said. After lunch, the two ponies decided to go for a walk and decided to have a chat while they walked. "So what would you like to do now?" Ian asked. "I'm not sure." Moondancer answered. "How about a little bit of desert?" Ian suggested. "Sounds like a good idea." agreed Moondancer. Later at Donut Joe's, Ian and Moondancer were deciding what donut they want for themselves. "I'll take a glazed donut." said Ian. "I'll take a jelly donut." said Moondancer. Ian got the two donuts and payed Donut Joe. "Have a nice day you two." said Donut Joe. Later Ian and Moondancer were laying under the tree for some shade. "Sure is nice weather today." said Ian. "Mhm." replied Moondancer. Ian noticed that Moondancer had some jelly on her face. "You got some jelly on your face." said Ian. Moondancer pulled out a mirror. "Oh I do." she said in surprise. Ian wiped the jelly off her cheek. "Thanks Ian." said Moondancer. "You're quite welcome." said Ian. Later that night Ian and Moondancer were busy watching the fireworks. "Sure is pretty." said Ian. "I do like fireworks too." said Moondancer. Then something came to her. "Can I tell you something?" she asked. "Sure." said Ian. "What is it you want to tell me?" he asked. "Ever since we first met, I kinda had a bit of a crush on you." said Moondancer. "Is this true?" asked Ian. "It's true and I'm sorry." said Moondancer sadly. "Don't be sorry Moondancer." said Ian. "Why?" asked Moondancer. "Because I had a crush on you too." said Ian as he smiled. "Really?" asked Moondancer. "Mhm." said Ian as he nodded. "What I'm really trying to say is that....I love you." he said. "In that case I love you too." said Moondancer. Then Ian and Moondancer shared a hug and kiss. A few days later it was time for Ian to go back to Ponyville. "Thanks for being my special somepony." said Moondancer. "And thank you for being my special somepony." said Ian. "Before you go, I have a special gift to give you to think of me." said Moondancer. And she pulled out the same sweater that she let Ian borrow that one night where Ian was cold and she gave it to him. Ian slipped on the sweater. "Oh Moondancer thank you so much." said Ian. Ian and Moondancer shared a hug goodbye and then Ian got on the train to Ponyville and the train pulled out of the station and headed for Ponyville as Ian was waving goodbye. "Goodbye Moondancer. I won't forget you." Ian called. "I won't forget you too." Moondancer called back. Later that night when Ian arrived home in Ponyville, he thought of the day that he and Moondancer first became marefriend and coltfriend. "One day I'll see her again." Ian thought and he was fast asleep. The End
