Dinosaurs some of the most successful creatures to have roamed Equestria and the world. Dinosaurs were thought to have been extinct for a long time. All of that changed one day. A Pegasus Pony Named Fluttershy found a Compsognathus named Compso in the forest Later that day two more Dinosaurs came one of which was a Tyrannosaurus named Rex. Rex went on a rampage through ponyville looking for food but later left Ponyville to go home to a lush paradise deep within the forest filled with dinosaurs, pterosaurs, and marine reptiles it was paradise until today.

4 months passed and A Triceratops was eating plants in part of the forest inside the paradise. It decided to try and find plants away from the herd. Unfortunately he was going to learn to stay with the herd the hard way. Rex watched the Triceratops. He knew not to get too close to it's horns that were the length of hockey sticks.

Rex charged in and tried to bite the Triceratops leg so it couldn't run away. It was successful. Rex then Bit one of the Triceratops horns and bit it off with a bone crushing bite. He knocked the Triceratops down and was ready to bite it's neck. Then before he delivered the finishing blow the rest of the herd had heard what happened and came to help they're weakened member.

Rex roared and tried to intimidate the Triceratops herd away. They all blocked Rex from the weakened Triceratops. Rex knew that a herd of Triceratops was dangerous. He went in search of easier prey like hadrosaurs. He walked but then saw something in the paradise.

He saw that the plants in the part of the forest he was in were dying. They were black instead of they're normal colors. They're was something like a sickness that was spreading through the plants. If the problem wasn't fixed within five days the entire paradise would die along with the last Dinosaurs in the world and they would really be extinct and possibly other plants across Equestria would experience the same thing. Instinctively Rex moved to another part of the Paradise but they're was no escape.

Author's Note

This was my first chapter it is mainly based off of Rex in this chapter but I will try to put Compso in the next chapter In this chapter I put a scene where Rex tried to hunt a Triceratops but didn't finish it off in future chapters there might be more fights like Rex vs (2014) Spinosaurus but I hope you are enjoying the story so far.
P.S. The Triceratops in this chapter is not the same one from Equestrian Dinosaurs
