Death Battle: Discord vs Aku
Chapter 2: Death Battle Analysis: Aku
Previous Chapter
"The word 'Immortal' is a term used to describe gods, or god like creatures," Silver stated.
"And these two embody that to the T, like Aku, the Shapeshifting master of Darkness," Claire said.
"And Discord, the Spirit of Chaos," Stealth added.
"Long ago, in a distant land, the demon wizard Aku unleashed an unspeakable evil," Naomi began.
"But before he was a tall demon with flaming eyebrows, who or rather, what was he?" Brian asked.
"To answer that question, we must go back further into the past, in a galaxy, far, far away," Raiden said, only to be smacked by Eliza, "OW!" he yelled.
"Raiden, what have we told you about Star Wars references in these analysis'?" Eliza asked.
"Ugh, only on weekends," Raiden groaned.
"But Aku's origins do take place far from Earth. Near the beginning of time, a mass of insentient evil was formed. It took the combined efforts of Norse God, Odin, Egyptian God, Ra, and Hindu God, Vishnu, that this evil was finally destroyed," Heiru stated.
"Except for one piece of the evil, which was able to escape to a prehistoric planet called 'Earth', where it killed off all the dinosaurs, in the form of tar pits," Carlos said.
"Over time, this 'tar pit' was the cause of many deaths, including of group of cavemen, and what may have been a dog?" Lucas added.
"Over time, a forest of black trees began sprouting from around these Tar Pits, and having enough of this, the emperor of a kingdom, which just so happened to be relatively close by to the pits, set off on a journey to try and destroy this evil, with a magic elixir, which he had high hopes that it would destroy the tar pits," Silver stated.
"Unfortunately, that plan back fired," Claire added.
"Instead of destroying the tar pits like it was intended to do so, it actually released an all powerful demon, who would go down in history by the name of 'Aku'," Raiden said.
"Aku is the ultimate in evil. Standing at no less than fifty meters tall, he is feared by all," Cassidy said.
"And what kind of ultimate evil would he be without superpowers?" Francisco asked rhetorically.
"As one of his titles implies, Aku has many forms he can take, ranging from a scorpion, to a fire breathing dragon!" Brian added.
"He also has laser eyes, which is one of his more commonly used weapons, and, as Brian just said, he can breath fire," Claire mentioned.
"He's capable of surviving the vacuum of space, like when he went to recruit a race of lion headed hunters, called the Imakandi, can fend off the entire Tricerequin army while underwater without batting an eye, and can effortlessly obliterate two whole armies. Man, can anything stop this guy?!" Cassidy exclaimed.
"Well, Aku does have his own flaws. Remember the Emperor of the Kingdom Aku was spawned from? Well, after Aku trapped him in the tar pits where he was spawned from, a celestial horse rescued him, and took him to the peak of a mountain. Inside one of the caves, there were three monks, each gifted with mystical powers. But it turns out these monks were actually the three gods from before in disguise," Silver replied.
"Understanding the dire situation, looming over the world, the gods forged a magic sword, made from the righteousness of the human spirit," Stealth added.
"We're not joking. This katana was forged to combat Aku, by using the powers of righteousness. And after receiving the sword, and some cool armor, the emperor rode a Flying Nimbus back to his kingdom, where Aku was laying waste to everything," Eliza said.
"After a hard fought battle, the emperor was able to defeat and imprison Aku into the Earth. However, this victory did not last very long. After maybe ten years(?), Aku returned, and the emperor sent his son off to train with the best of the best, and that's including Robin Hood!" Lucas added.
"When the lost son, who would later dub the name 'Jack', returned to his homeland, he plunged into battle, like his father before him," Simon said.
"However, Aku has one more power that got the whole series started in the first place," Carlos said.
"Just before Jack delivered the final blow, Aku tore open a portal in time, and flung Jack into the future where Aku's evil is the law," Carmen said.
"After learning he was in the future, Jack quickly adapted to his new surroundings, and made it his ultimate quest to find a time portal, and stop Aku in the past," Silver said.
"However, during the thousands of years Jack was time hopping, Aku had become increasingly arrogant. This turned out to be his ultimate weakness," Naomi said.
"In other words, because the only weapon among mankind was sent into the future, Aku believed that he could do whatever he wanted. He made ridiculous demands in exchange for allowing aliens to live on Earth. But imagine his surprise when a familiar samurai warrior was seen in the future," Icezer said.
"Like all evil overlords, he has his own variety of evil minions. While he demon warriors to do his bidding, over time, Aku has acquired more and more minions. First up, there the X-5 model mercenaries. These drones were designed to be like Al Capone style mobsters. Over time, Aku's scientists developed insect robots. The most common of these drones were the beetle drones, whose only real method of attack is the scythe like claws they have. He also has mantis bots, and when he commissioned the creation of indestructible robots called Ultra Bots, which were comprised of Adamantium, a rare, man-made metal alloy that, on a molecular level, is immensely dense, to the point that event he weapons of a god have difficulty breaking them," Raiden said.
"Additionally, to that last one, Aku is also known to go back on his promises. Like when he promised a scientist named Extor that if could develop indestructible robots, then Aku would leave his village alone. But, surprise-surprise, Aku decided that in order to test the Ultra Bots, he would sic them on Extor's village, despite him promising to leave it be," Eliza said.
"But its that very arrogance that lead to one of the greatest roasts in animation history. See, fed up with incompetent minions, Aku decided the best course of action was to take on Jack himself. Jack promised not to use his sword, in exchange for Aku not bringing any minions, or being able to shapeshifting, or super human powers. But Jack knew Aku would not fulfill his promise, and delivered the greatest roast ever!" Cassidy exclaimed.

"Though despite Aku's arrogance, he still can only be killed by either the power of a god, or the magic sword that Jack wields," Silver said.
"Yeah, some people tend to forget that fact. Like the Scotsman, Jack's best friend in the future. He led an ill fated attack on Aku's fortress, which ended in the demise of two armies, and the Scotsman himself. Their intentions were still noble, but their actions were not thought out all the way," Claire said.
"Especially since the Scotsman holds the record for the longest insult in animation history, lasting a whopping twenty seconds long," Sora said.

"What did he say?!" Heiru exclaimed.
"Don't worry about it. Anyway, Aku is still a one of the most powerful entities in existence, and should never be taken lightly," Silver said.

"Where did you get all this footage?" Hali asked.
"Don't worry about it," Raiden replied.
