Chapters "Roughly two thousand years ago a creature of pure chaos ruled over equestria. it is said that during that time many creatures came into existence, and many more went extinct. One such race was known as the humans. they received the worst of the chaos gods wrath, as they where fused with other creatures, the Minotaur are a good example of such fusion.
However there were more fusion. Fusions merging human with pony, creating what would come to be called Anthro. When the creature of chaos was defeated, most of the damage was already done. The creature's known as humans were no more, and most of their fusions in time went extinct, Leaving only the Minotaur's and the anthro's remaining survivors."
The Teacher finished her reading,shut the book she was reading from and looked around to see if her class was still listening.
"From there the Minotaur's mostly moved away from their birth lands, In search of land to call there own. Which left the Anthro to their fate, their inferiority, and their complete separation from their superior pony cousins.” She said, her gaze roving over the Anthro that were among her class among her class. "She said while eyeing one of the anthro's.
I started to zone out from there as it was the same old song and dance of why ponies are better, than every other race. I know we are but no need to rub it in.
"Oh, I'm sorry Viper is my class too boring for you?"Crap I fell asleep again didn't I "For your punishment, you are to write a fifteen-hundred word essay on Anthro Biology vs Pony Biology." She then began to hand out homework it was a questionnaire with an extra credit section.
"Man, mom is gonna kill me when she finds out I fell asleep again." I say to my best friend Thunder Wing. he's a grey Pegasus colt and a black cloud shooting a lighting bolt for a Cutie Mark. We're walking home from school. It’s a nice day out, and I can't shake the feeling that something’s off, but I let it slide.
"It's not that bad. I'm sure your mom will just ground you for all eternity, or until you graduate college at least."Thunder wing says as he lays a wing over my shoulders. I shoot him a glare but he seems to ignore it.
"I'm not your special somepony, so why do you keep putting your wing around me?" I ask to which his retraction was to act like I just dumped him.
"How could you say that?" He says with a huge grin on his face. "After all we been through" to which I responded by giving him a jab in the shoulder, thus removing the wing from mine.
"You are so dramatic, but thanks i=I needed that after today." I flash him a gentle grin .
"No problem, say lets get something to eat? I'll pay." After a few seconds of thought.
"Yeah why not I could eat."I say before we set out on are most important quest yet. Lunch.
After walking a few minutes I begin to notice tons of dust in the air. Well, more than usual when you’re in Appleloosa anyway.
"hey Thunder your work for the weather team right?"I ask.
"Yea why?" he asks slightly raising a eye brow.
"I was wondering why is it so dusty today I mean more then usual?"
"Oh, I don't know, I just bring coffee to my boss. I don't really control the weather." He said I could hear the disappointment in his voice.
"Isn't that normally an anthro's job?"I ask.
"Yeah, but my boss seems to think that coffee made by ponies tastes better then coffee made by those trash Anthros, and I have to agree." He says. "Then again, whatever I make is worthy of the gods of old." I chuckle at his statement.
"So do you want to take the scenic route."I ask him, feeling a little smug with myself.
"Meh, why not. We got time I guess. Plus we can make fun of some anthros on the way to Good Eats." Thunder says. We then make a left turn and walk through a pretty disgusting alleyway. there were anthro every where some drunk, others sleeping and all smelled like Tartarus.
"Anthros or not, they should at least wash with soap! Faust the smell here is awful!"I say, gagging trying not to loose what little breakfast I did eat.
"Be careful where you step, you might catch something." Thunder says as he takes a small hop over a puddle of questionable liquid.
"And some have argued that Anthros are equal to Ponies... Who'd want to be equal to this?" I say as I gesture toward a homeless Anthro with no legs.
"I know I don't. Come on lets hurry, this smell might stick to us if we stay much longer." With that we make it out of the alleyway.
"We should do something to help them Viper."Thunder says catching me off guard.
"What are you talking about?"
"I mean we have a anthro for a princess maybe we should show them some respect at least."he says looking competently serious. I can't believe my ears right now.
"I see your point Thunder but that doesn't change the fact that they are lower then us."I state Matter-O-Factly"You are gonna see it my way one day Thunder."
"I think you will see it my way Viper."I roll my eyes as he gives me a friendly push.
"Can we talk about that during lunch we're almost there anyway Thunder."He nodes. We eventually make it Good Eats when we hear crazed laughter coming from inside.
"What's that?" I ask nervously
"I don't know. Lets go check it out"Thunder says before carefully walking up to the building, with me hot on his hooves. As we near the entrance we can hear somepony yelling in a deep voice that's peppered with rage.
"You think your above me?! You think your self better?! Well lets find out!" the voice roars. Followed by a couple of stallions being thrown threw a window. They hit the first thing in their way. Thunder.
"Thunder are you ok?!" I snap trying not to let my rage build.
" No mommy I don't wanna go to school!" Thunder says before passing out.

There he was, that low life anthro, who not only hurt ponies but he hurt my friend, and for that he was going to pay dearly. He was an earth pony anthro, with light brown fur, a black mane, and dark green eyes. He wore what looked like a worn out suit that some noble would wear. He probably dug it out of the trash.
"And what are you supposed to be?" He says to me. crap can he see my tail!?
There's a moment of hesitation "I'm a earth pony what else would I be?" I really hope he's buyin' what I'm sellin' here.
Not with that ugly tail you of yours... You look like your mother fucked a worm. He says. Damn looks like I'm not going to be employee of the month after all- wait... Did.... Did he just call me a worm?
"HEY I AM NOT A WORM" I shout as I get battle ready. I really hope no one see's the magic I'm about to do.
"You're right, that was a bit insensitive... To the worm" He smirked at his own comment. Oh I'm going too enjoy this way to much for my own good.

"Okay that's buster, PIN MISSILE" I shout as the tip of my tail starts to glow. A barrage of magical missiles erupt from my tail and streak towards my opponent. To my amazement he back flips away from my attack. He shortly, before landing on the patio of the restaurant, where he then picks up a barrel and throws it at me, I answer by jumping over the barrel earning me some extra points. go me!
"Great now my tail is showing! You know how long it's gonna take me to get it back to the way it was?"I snap before the tip of my tail glows again."Now prepare to die a slow poisonous death!" In my defense he is an Anthro and hurt my friend. It's only natural that one would be mad in my boots.
"If that last attack was how you'll go about killing me, I'm gonna die of old age first, hot stuff".He taunts. Man he's a jerk. did just call me hot stuff? Questions for later. He then dashed towards me and begins circling me with what look like ghostly clones trailing him. Lucky for me I read enough Neighponese manga to know how to stop this attack.
"That won't work on me you filthy Anthro." I exclaim as I swung my tail in around and used my pin missile attack on the ground around me. Just like I thought he had to back up, Only to throw a knife at me. Where did he get a knife?! I thought as I easily dodged it only to receive a hoof straight to my muzzle.
"DAUGHTERS OF FAUST THAT HURT." I yell, I think at this point my body is glowing with rage I don't think I have ever been so angry before. What is it about this guy anyway?
"What? Did the pretty pony get a boo boo? Quit whining you freak." He again taunts as he readies himself for another attack.
At this point I can't tell if he taking me seriously or not, and it's really pissing me off "Let me buck you in the face then you..." Hoofsteps could be heard coming this way. It had to be the Royal guard and from the sounds of the hoofsteps a large number of them too."Oh no" was all I could say I started to panic. My first thought is to grab Thunder and book it. I quickly move my tail between my legs and try to get to Thunder, emphasis on try. The bastered Anthro grabbed me by my tail before I could make it to him.
"Where do you think your going?!" he growled as he yanked me closer to him "Get over here!" He then uses my tail like a rope and lifts me off the ground. Which, for the record, was very uncomfortable.
"Let me go you freak of nature! Everypony know anthro's shouldn't even exist!" As soon as I said that something in him snapped. I don't know what it was but I very much regretted saying those words while he was holding me by my tail. If he wanted to make me feel like a rag doll he succeeded as he kept picking me up and slamming me down on the ground over and over again.no mommy I don't wanna go on the whirlybird. He then throws me into the air, thank Faust. Because I don't think I could of continued if he let go while I was on the ground. I land on my hooves just in time too.
"WHO ARE YOU TO DECIDE WHO LIVES AND DIES!" he roars as he charges at me with another knife As he slashes at me, I get a small cut on my cheek, but I'll live. I quickly retaliate by attempting to buck him but he already made distance between us.
"JUST BECAUSE I LOOK DIFFERENT I'M NOT WORTHY OF LIFE!?" He was already on top of me trying to cut me with the knife. I'm just barely dodging them though. I was so focused on the knife, that he get another good kick, in knocking the wind out of me.
"Huff ... huff... My dad gives me that right you peace of trash." I growl at him. at this point I'm to angry to care who know's my secret, but my answer seemed to have given him some pause which is good it give me time to recover my breath.
"Really?"I do NOT like that smile came across his face as he said that. "Then lets see if the bastard who fucked your worm of a mother is as good at deciding as his daughter thinks!" He then starts channeling lighting into his knife but here Is what is going threw my mind.
"Brain?"
"Yes body?"
"Did he just call mother a worm?"
"Why yes he did."
"And is he now channeling lighting into his knife?"
"Why yes he is he must of gotten training in Zebrica."
"Permission to use that move."
"Oh, absolutely and please give him hell for me."
By now the guards have surrounded us, but I think the energy surrounding me and the Anthro is giving them a warning saying. Stay back if you want to live. The anthro's knife then erupts into a two foot long blade of magic. Looks like this will be the final blow to decide the winner of this fight. I charge my own attack at the tip of my tail. It’s a ball of death for the most part. If you touch it or breathe its fumes you will more than likely die from it.
"My mom is not a worm! She's the strongest pony I know!" I roar as I launch the sludge bomb at him, only for him to launch his own attack at me. He yells something, but I don’t hear it over the resulting explosion. Purple smoke fills the air, and I'm feeling pretty good with myself. I stand up with a smile on my face, only for it to disappear three seconds later as I'm tackled to the ground by the anthro. I feel him grab my mane as I see the knife come down. Only I never felt the impact. I hear him yell something about being back . Then he just passes out on me. Normally I would push him off of me, but I'm to tired. So I just wait for the guards to finally do something.
About a hour later, news of the fight had spread to the one person I really did not want to know. My mom. She is the overprotective type of mother and I can't blame her for it. I mean, I'm her only daughter after all, and she worries. When I become a mother I would worry about my kids too.
So I'm just sitting here, in my hospital room, getting a checkup to see the extent of the damage the fight caused, all while my mom is coddling me. Much to my doctor’s annoyance, because she is in the way of him doing his job.
"Miss Image could you please go wait outside so I can make sure your daughter is alright?" The doctor says. Much to his credit he tried to sound professional.
"But my baby needs me." My mother pleads, while a couple of nurses try to force her out of the room so the good doctor can continue his work.
"I'm sorry for her behavior Doctor Whooves. Its just, I'm her only daughter and she tends to treat me like a glass figurine or something." I say getting a understanding look from the doctor.
"I understand, I have my own foal that I would do anything for, but I also know that she needs room to grow." He says as he takes my magic readings. "I see. That must have been some fight if it drained this much of your magic, Viper. I recommend taking it easy for a couple of days. Now I need to go Check on the others so I can submit all the medical records for evidence."
"Evidence?" I ask somewhat confused.
"Oh yes. You see the owners of The Good Eats are suing the anthro for damage caused by the fight."The doctor explained.
"And I have to go because I'm a witness right?" I deadpanned.
"As of this moment yes, but since I'm not a lawyer, I can't say for sure though." With that, he leaves, and I am once again smothered by my mom.

two weeks later
"Today is the day I get to see that piece of trash thrown in jail for his actions." I say with a big grin on my face.
"I know why you're happy and I get that, but I think you're taking too much pleasure in this Viper." Thunderwing says. He still has his head wrapped in bandages from the encounter.
"That slime ball called me and my mom a worm, then tried to kill me! I have every right to take pleasure in this!" I yell somewhat louder than I meant to.
"I understand that, but you also tried to kill him. If what I heard was correct, you gave him a good buck or two." I go pale for a second "Well we’re here, so I guess I'll see you after court, though I don't see why you want to come. They have more than enough evidence to lock him up and throw away the key without your testimony." Thunder says as he takes a bit out of a cupcake that he brought from lunch.
"That may be true, but I want to make sure he gets what he deserves! He will NOT get away if I have anything to say about it!" I'm pretty sure Thunder thought I was crazy or something at this point, because he just rolled his eyes at my speech as he finished the cupcake.
"You know I'm gonna miss you when you move. I hope ponyville will help you tho." Thunder just had to remind me that I'm moving, didn't he.
"It's not like I wanna move. It's just my mom thinks It’ll be safer for me there. The town next to the most dangerous forest in all of Equestria." I sigh. "You see the problem with that logic right?" Thunder just chuckles and I roll my eye's.
"I'll see you at the train station later okay Viper."
"Yeah, I guess I'll see you there Thunderwing. Still it's nice of your cousin Rumble to let me stay with him for a while."
"Don't mention it. Really. Don't. He thinks he has a chance with you." I could not help but laugh at that statement.
"Isn't he like half my age?" Thunder nodded. We say our goodbye's and I make my way to the courtroom where that slime ball is being held.
Once inside the courtroom, I can see what it looks like and it looks pretty nice. there’s a carving of some scales above where the judge is supposed to be. Directly in front of that I see where the "defendant" is supposed to stay while in court and on both sides of the courtroom are where the ponies sit to watch the court session.
"Now where to sit, where to sit? Meh, I guess there will work." I say as I make my way over to the right side of the courtroom, take a seat, and wait for it to start. I can't help but wonder why this anthro trash pisses me off so much . While I'm in thought I barely notice the other ponies and Anthros come into the courtroom.
When the bastard Anthro finally enters, he's wearing a orange jump suit and he is chained up only able to move a little. He looks like he got the snot kicked out of him before hand. He’s got a black eye and he is holding one of his left arm like it's been dislocated, and that's just what I can see. The bastard probably started it again. wait... Why is the anthro princess here.? I barely noticed a marshmallow white anthro and a cotton candy pink earth pony sit next to me as my attention was somewhere else.
Once everypony is settled in a guard next to the judge's desk stood to attention as a door next to him opened.
"All rise, the honorable judge Hard Knocks presiding." He announced, getting all ponies present to stand. Hard knocks smoothly walks behind his desk and gazes over everyone present.
"You may be seated." He said. His voice, a deep rumbling baritone, carried easily through the room. He glanced at the papers on his desk, giving them a once over. He looked up and his gaze fell on the Princess and the anthro."This case is being held because a suit was filed against the defendant for the following... Destruction of property, multiple accounts of physical assault, assault with a weapon with intent to harm, and disorderly conduct." As Hard Knocks read each of the charges off. He looked up and his gaze fell on the Princess and the anthro.
"I assume you are representing the defendant, Princess?" He asked. Twilight nodded and spoke in a clear voice.
"Yes your honor, I am representing my client." Judge Knock nodded his head, satisfied.
"You have been read the charges, and how do you plead?" He asked.
"Not guilty." Twilight's voice rang loud and clear. it was dead silent of a second before the audience exploded in a mass of exclamation and angry shouts. My voice being one of the angriest there much to the surprise of the ponies around me.
"ORDER! ORDER!" Judge Knocks yells as he smacks his gavel to get everypony to quiet down.
"Psst" A hoof nudges me but I ignore it."Pssssst." again I get nudged me.
"What is it?" I ask trying not to loose my temper.
"Want some popcorn?" The pink pony asks, which I accept because I accidently skipped lunch talking with Thunder.
"Thanks." I say as I turn my attention back to the court session.
"Now princess please state your case." Judge Knocks says. unfortunately I dont get to hear the case because the pink pony next to me Is distracting the Tartrus out of me. She's chewing with her mouth open and slurping her soda WHICH SHE PULLED FROM HER MANE . If I didn't know better I would think she was a daughter of a old one as well.
"Hey my parents aren't that old." She says as she takes another sip of her drink. Did she just read my mind? “No silly I just read the story."
"What are you talking about?" I ask with some hesitation.
"I dunno but anyway why is your boyfriend on trial?" the mare says which caused me to choke on some of the popcorn for a moment.
"He is not my boyfriend." I correct her she then pulls out what looks like a script of some sorts.
"Oops! My bad! Says here that he’s your future boyfriend." She says as she puts the script back in her mane. I am pretty sure my face is as red as a tomato right about now.
"Pinkie that's enough darling, don't make me get the squirt bottle again." The white anthro says with a semi serious tone. the pink pony, apparently named Pinkie, reacts by sticking her tongue out and crossing her forelegs."I'm sorry for my friends behavior. She gets a bit excited when she meets somepony new." she explained as she put her hand out for me to shake.
"And you are?" I ask not even bothering to acknowledge the hand.
"Oh where are my manners." [i}My thoughts exactly. "My name is Rarity belle." She states withdrawing her hand.
"Nice to meet you I suppose."
"Hi I'm Pinkie Pie and I bet the popcorn made you thirsty!" Pinkie says which causes me to smack my lips. I'm starting to hate this mare, mainly because she’s right. Curse her and that buttery goodness!
"I'm going to step out for a bit can you let me know what that the sentence is please?" I ask to which pinkie sighs and give a slight nod. With that I make my way out of the courtroom to go get something to drink only to be stopped by "Rarity ". "What do you want Anthro trash."
"I'm well aware that you don't like me but I can tell when a Pony Is hiding something." She says like she knows something and I don't like it.
"And why would you say that?" I ask a little nervous about what she knows
"I can see when somepony is treating others bad because there afraid. My sister was the same way. She's a pony, so naturally when she first started bringing her friends over she would treat me in the same manner that you did dear." At this point she Is on one knee looking me in the eye with a hand on my shoulder.
"Why would I be afraid I'm just a normal earthpony." I state not sounding to sure of myself.
"Lying to yourself is not a good thing, and Besides I'm here on official friendship solving business." She states matter-o-factly. "And I think we have found it." She stands up and never taking her eyes off me until the court lest out.
Before we can continue our conversation, I slip into the crowd once it passes us. I’m scared shitless about what that bastard said to the guard about me. All I know right now is I needed some fresh air, and a guard to ask what the hell that bastard told the guards and possibly a princess. "When I find the bastard I'm going to give him an earful." I murmur As I pace back and forth outside the court yard.
After what feels like hours, I see the bastard coming out of the courthouse and I do possible the stupidest thing I will ever do. I start blabbing about my secret. Who did you tell about my tail!" I say in a hushed tone as I put a hoof on his hip.
“I didn't fucking say shit! How can you expect them to miss it when it's fucking waving around like a fucking ass flag?!” He (wait... she?...) all but yells.
"There's a spell on it that makes it looks like a normal tail ... weren't you a guy before?" I say getting a little louder and somewhat confused.
“What the fuck are talking about? There's no spell! I can see it as plain as day, and don't you fucking change the subject!" She yells. causing the ponies to look look at us as we continue this confrontation.
"You know I should've just ended your life back at the restaurant it would have been merciful on everypony." I mumble to myself as the anthro princess, Rarity and Pinkie came to the front of the crowd that was now surrounding us.
"Now now everypony calm down." the princess says trying to calm everypony down. "You guys shouldn't be fighting."
"Yeah you and your boyfriend/girlfriend shouldn't be fighting, you should be kissing" Pinkie giggles, which throws us off..
"We're not a couple!/We're not a couple!".
"Stop copying me!/Stop copying me!"
"I mean it!/I mean it!" We say at the same time much to my embarrassment.
"Aww there even speacking at the same time." Pinkie cooes over what just happened.
A loud popping sound was heard. “I don't get why he's so merciful to ponies like you! All you ever do is stomp him into the dirt but he never EVER fight's back, your just lucky he doesn't.” What does she mean by that? Never mind I need to get ...to ....the train station where I'll have to say goodbye to my one friend.....
"I gotta train to catch and I don't wanna be late I need to say goodbye to my one friend." As I walk I can't stop the tears from hitting the ground as I walk.
"Then you have nothing to fucking gripe about! At least you have a friend!”That bitch yells. I keep walking, I don't wanna be late for the last time I'll see my friend after all.
I make it a good distence when THAT Anthro comes running along with a semi worried look on his face. Once he catches up to me he says "look I just wanted to apologize for my behavior in our past meetings. They weren't the best hoof forward so..."
I interrupt him"Don't tell anypony my secret and we will be just peachy, understood?"
"That's number 212." He says much to my confusion
I tilt my head in confusion at what he just said."What?"
after hearing so many threats and insults I decided to keep track of how many I'd heard. your's was number 212." he says and looks a little down about it. That is a lot of times to be told to keep a secret.
"That would be 45." He mumbled Is he blushing?
"Why are you as red as a tomato?"I ask a bit to blunt.
"I-it's... uh, w-well.. Your very beautiful and very close."He replies and I can't help but look like a idiot just opening and closing my mouth like a goldfish."That was a bit abrupt, my apologies miss, but it's hard not to see the obvious when one is this close to it." He continued and I have had enough of this guy.
"Okay walking away now."I say as I start back pedaling.
"Sorry about that, I tend to blurt stuff out when I'm nervous." he apologizes as we start walking again.
"I'm sure."I deadpan" You are weird you know that."
He chuckles. "Number 13"He then clears his throat. "I wanted to apologize for what happened at the dinner and in front of the court house." He then looks down slightly Is that a Tear? "I don't like hurting anypony and I... I never wanted to be what pulled two friends apart."He sounds sin sear at least.
I roll my eye's at what I'm about to do."I'll tell you what if you want to aplolgize properly you should at least give me your name."
He raises a eyebrow I think In confusion." I guess that's fair, my name is Caim miss..."
"Viper, Viper Pit."I state.
He nodes. "Then I apologize ms. Pit for what has transpired at the dinner and the courthouse."
" Apology excepted now caim is there anything else because I need to go."Mom would kill me if she found out I missed the train.
"Uuuummm..." He looks nervus for some reason. oh dear Faust he's not going to ask me out is he? "[ "I hope that I will get to see you again some time. Beauty such as yours is rare for my eyes.".
I blush slightly at the unexpected compliment." If I see you around that is but, I doupt it."AAH WHY DID I SAY THAT. Why am I so flustered all of a sudden. Forget it I gotta train to catch.
I arrive at the train station where I see Thunder with a Pegasus colt who has a blueish gray coat and a two-tone dark gray mane and tail. That must be Rumble.
"Hey Thunder."I yell to get there attention."Who is this little filly?" I teased.
"Hey I'm not a filly I'm a big strong colt." He says electing a chuckle from Thunder and me.
"Yea this Is my cousin the you should be warned my other cousin he's not bad or anything it's just me and him share the same first name."He explained electing a nod from me.That won't be weird or anything.
"My mom said that my stuff should of arrived yesterday is that true rumble?"I ask a little bit concerned about what this colt did to me stuff.
"Yeah it arrived but we haven't opened any of it since we didn't want to break anything."
"How thoughtful say Rumble why don't you take these bits and go get something to drink okay."I hand him 3 bits and as soon as the money is in his hoof he is gone."Now that he's gone I'm gonna miss you Thunder."
"I'm gonna miss you two I'll try and visit when I can okay."He says as he hugs me and I hug back trying not to cry."It will be fine look at the bright side Ponyville has some of the best food around."He trying to look on the bright side but I can tell he is going to cry hard when I step on that train.We sit hugging for a while neither one of us wanting to let go but we do when Rumble comes back with a soda.
"Thanks for the drink Viper."Rumble makes his point with a small burp. We then talk for a little while longer until the train pulls up.
"ALL ABOARD TO PONYVILLE."The conducter yells I say my final good byes and go to find my seat next to rumble who has almost non stop looking at me.It got real old real fast.
"Ponyville here I come."I say as the train leave the station.

"Next stop Ponyville. " The conductor says over the intercom. I turn my attention to Rumble, who looks like he just waking up from a nap that he took while we were traveling.
"Welcome to the realm of the living." I tease him as he rubs his eyes. "We get off next stop and you gotta show me to my room like a good gentlecolt."
"I will Viper, and I will be the bestest room shower ever." He exclaims only to fall on his rump which causes me to chuckle.
"I meant to do that."
"Sure you did munchkin." I ruffle his mane some.
"Lets grab your stuff and get going." As I say that, the train stops.
"Thank You for choosing the Friendship Express. Have a nice day. " With that everypony and anthro on the train begins getting off. I have to carry Rumble by his scruff so he doesn't leave me behind. Plus it's fun to mess with him because he still has a scruff. Even though his feet touch the ground when I do it.
"You can let me go now Viper." I shake my head which causes him to shake as well.
"Please I promise I'll be a good." I pretend to think about it for a moment as I drag him and his scruff off the train before letting him go.
"You need a bath you know that Rumble? You taste awful." I chuckle as his face turns red.
"Come on We are burning Celestia's light."
"I'm coming I'm coming." With that, we went over to Rumble’s house.
"Lovely house Rumble, but one question." I say as I'm looking up at a could house
"Oh and what would that be?" He asks tilting his head.
"How am I supposed to get up there?"
"That's easy you just.. Oh.... Yea I see the problem." I sigh at this huge oversight.
"Maybe we can get a ladder to get you up there" He suggests.
"My stuff’s already in the house ain't it?" He nods and I sigh again."Let's go find a ladder then."
"Maybe while we look for a ladder I can show you around town." Not a bad Idea I'm going to be living here for a while so why not.
"Alright, it would be good to get to know the area." I say as we start the tour, search for a ladder, and maybe something to eat. I'm hungry!
"Our first stop is the hardware store." Rumble says "Owned by one Mr. Hard Hat."
We head in, and to my surprise, this place is massive. It did not look this big on the outside. By the register was an older stallion Anthro. Great more of them. Rumble must of noticed my change in attitude because he was giving me a look that said ‘be nice. ’
"Howdy ya'll." He says as he waves us over. "What can I do ya for?"
"We need something for me to get up in to my temporary home." He raises a eyebrow.
"I'm staying with Rumble for a couple of weeks, and no pony thought the fact that a cloud house would be a little out of reach for me." I explain as he nodes.
"I think I have a ladder that might work. You can borrow it for now, but I need it back soon okay?" With that we follow him to the ladder section and we get a 50 ft ladder.
"If you don't bring it back, I will be having a word with your brother Rumble. Do I make myself clear?" He warns as Rumble's head did it’s best to impersonate a maraca. After the hardware store we head to the arcade, then we grab dinner at a place called Dancing Dandelion. It was okay nothing too fancy, but it was nice and cheap too only 10 bits.
"That was delicious Rumble you may have earned a reward for that." I say as I watch his face get all red as I give his cheek a peck.
"Y-Y-Your welcome." He stammers out. Earning a giggle from me. Anyway we are on are way home when that pink pony from the trial shows up with a saddle bag full of letters from the looks of it.
"I would like to invite you to a party at Sugarcube Corner for your welcome to ponyville party." She says with a big smile on her face.
"Umm, Why would I want a party?" I ask and she looks like I just asked who the Princess was.
"Because since you're new here you don't have many if any friends and that makes me sad I know you're lost your friends when you moved here so, HMMHMMHMMM!" I had to put my hoof in her mouth so I could try and process what she was talking about in her rambling. "And that's why I would like to invite you to the party so you can make friends!" she somehow says through my hoof. I look at Rumble who looks at me with big puppy dog eyes. Pinkie soon joins him with the eyes.
I can’t do it. I can’t say no to those eyes.
"What time does it start?" I sigh.
Damn it.
We get the time (it's tomorrow around noon). It was getting late so we head back to Rumble’s house. I climb up the ladder and I’m surprised that I don't fall through the clouds. Apparently they are special clouds that are enchanted for non Pegasus ponies and anthros to walk on.
"Night Rumble Tell your brother I say hi. I'm going to bed." He nods and- MY FAUST THIS BED IS SO SOFT!
I’m asleep before my head hits the pillow.
Back in Appleoosa.
"Oh I hope my baby is alright." Said a yellow unicorn mare with a white main and tail with a mirror image cutie mark on her flank. She paced back and forth while holding a note she had received shortly after Viper’s fight With the anthro Caim.
KNOCK KNOCK!
"Who could that be?“ Mirror thought as she opened the door. She wasn’t expecting anypony today, but it would be rude to leave them on the door step. So, she put the note in a box and went to open the door to what she thought was a friendly visitor.
"Where is she?" Said a angry anthro unicorn with a scar over his left eye as he quickly stepped through the door and stood over Mirror.
"I don't know who you‘re talking about." The back of a hand met her face followed by three swift devastating kicks to her gut, making her gasp as all the air was forced from her lungs.
"You know damn well who I'm talking about." He said clearly. His eyes were ice cold, filled with hate and loathing. Snorting in annoyance with Mirror’s tight lip he knelt down and grabbed Mirror’s mane, pulling her up and forcing her to make eye contact.
"The purple pony who attacked the anthro outside of the dinner two weeks ago, where. Is. She?" His voice was deathly low, almost a growl, filled with anger. Mirror’s eye’s shot open in fear. She knew who they were asking about.
"She never attacked anypony! It was the anthro who attacked, there was even video evidence showing it." she stated, trying to defend her daughter, only to get a fist to her gut twice, breaking her already cracked ribs and then have her muzzle slammed into the floor, leaving a small, bloody puddle.
“False evidence, and besides that doesn't answer the question now does it." He said coldly. Mirror just glared at her attacker with a rage only a mother could muster.
"I'll never tell you anything!" She spat blood and saliva into the stallions face. He did not even flinch, only a slight twitch at the corner of his mouth was all she got.
"So be it." He says grabbing one of her legs he snaps it at the knee with only a cold chuckle. Mirror screams in agony, trying to get away from the stallion but he holds her fast. One by one he breaks her legs, leaving her in a beaten, broken and bloody state on the floor, not dead but close to it.
"Burn the place. We got a pony to find." Mirror heard the stallion say, and felt a cold liquid splash over her body. All she could do was scream i pure agony as the flames ignited and started to consume her fur and sear her flesh.
