“Ugh… what happened?” A voice groaned, coming from a clear. In the clearing there were two figures. One was what looked like a giant yellow flower with a face, and the other was looked like a teenager with blue hair, brown vest, white dirty shirt, blue jeans, leather shoes, and a strange red gauntlet.
The blue haired teen shook his head and blinked in confusion. “... Did someone slip something into my drink?” the boy said.
“I don’t know… why are you so big?” The flower asked, looking confused.
“Wait… a talking flowe-” The teen stopped in mid-sentence as horror was painted on his face.
“Talking flower…?” The flower trailed off, looking only more confused than before.
“Yes, talking flower. Why are you talking like you don’t know anything?”
“Listen, buddy, all I remember is walked outta my house in my Flowey cosplay, and then… nothing,” The flower said, glaring a bit in irritation.
“Wait, you’re that flowey cosplay I saw at tonight’s comic con?” The teen asked.
“I mean, I guess?” The flower said, tilting its… stem? “I was going to one as Flowey...”
“And I went as Vahn… Wait, why am I still wearing this?” the teen asked before reaching up and trying to remove what he believed to be a wig, but the moment he tugged, he felt pain, and he was met with confusion
“Oh no… did we become our costumes?” Flowey asked with wide eyes.
“But… that doesn’t make sense…” The teen asked as he tried to tug his hair off.
“Did you buy anything from anyone?” The yellow flower questioned, eyes narrowed in thought.
“Just this Ra-seru.” Vahn said as he holds up his arm.
“Ugh, I think I know what happened to us.” Flowey said, sighing.
“Explain, talking flower.” The teen asked.
“Okay… there’s these fiction stories called ‘displaced’, right? A popular thing in them is a person buying something relating to their dressed as, maybe it’s something they’re missing, maybe it’s just a object from the same show or game or book, it doesn’t matter. You get that thing, and all abilities that may come with it… but in turn, are ripped from your reality and placed in another.” Flowey explained to the teen, keeping a straight face the entire time.
“You mean it’s actually real?!” the teen exclaimed.
“Evidently so,” The flower said, giving him a deadpan look. They were currently living it, after all.
“Then…” the teen said before raising his hand, the gauntlet glows with a serene voice only he is hearing. “... Yea... I suppose” he said.
“This presents us, or rather me, with a problem,” Flowey said. “I have no idea how the hell I’m gonna move places.”
“Flowey, use dig!” The teen said jokingly.
“Flowey does not know that move, Flowey would gladly use dig if Flowey knew how.” The flower replied, sarcasm dripping from their voice.
They both heard a giggle behind them. “Will this help?” A little girl’s voice said behind them.
Turning, they saw a light blond haired girl, about twelve and wearing a dress that was somewhat similar to a Lolita, consisting of pink, violet, and purple colors. She had two purple ribbons wrapped around her arms, and the boots she was wearing had an intricate design.
The girl was holding out a flower pot - with a spade in her other hand - while looking up at them with her green eyes. After taking their eyes from her face they noticed that, there was something sitting on her shoulder: a small, purple and pink squishy Doll with green eyes and horn like things with cone shaped legs and tail.
“I guess for now…” Flowey said, frowning. “Who are you, anyway? And where the heck did you come from?”
“Wait, I think I saw you before too.” The blue haired teen said.
“This is Elize!” The doll suddenly yelled loudly, floating off of her shoulder with a large smile. “And IIIII’mmm Teepo!, Nice to Meetcha!”
“Wait a minute, why are you using the costumes name? I mean if you’re the same as what happened to us.”
Elize ‘uh-hud’ for a few seconds before Teepo beat her to it. “Because it’s better than her old name and she likes it.” He said, floating around the teen that spoke.
“Mine seems to be strangely absent… I think I should be panicking more at this, but I can’t bring myself too,” Flowey said.
“So, what happened exactly?” Elize asked.
The teen went dead silent. “... wwwwwhhhhhhhhhy?!!” He screamed when even he couldn’t recall his name. “Why is this a thing?!”
“What is a thing?” Teepo said, tilting his head as his smile fell a bit.
“I can’t remember mine either, all that comes up is Vahn...” Vahn said with frustration. “Getting powers is all cool and anything but it's somewhat weird having a different identity”.
“Ohhhhh.” Teepo said. “I don’t get it.”
Elize rolled her eyes. “Think of it like you don’t get to be Teepo anymore.” She said, resulting in Teepo seeming to understand… and freaking out a little bit.
“This is stupid. We need to gather ourselves and get moving, unless either of you has suddenly learned and is capable of fighting whatever animal will come our way.” Flowey suddenly said.
“Considering what has happened so far, I wouldn’t be surprised.” Vahn said as he stared at the red gauntlet on his hand. Elize in turn looked at a metal rod strapped to her side before getting Flowey into the flower pot.
“Alright. I’m mobile. Let’s head in any direction, we should hit something eventually.” Flowey said. The two humans took two steps… before Flowey seemed to get tired, and look a little frustrated.
“Stop. Wrong way.” Flowey warned.
“Whatta mean?” Teepo said.
“I just… had to learn to LOAD. The hard way. Twice. Let’s try the way you came, loli girl,” Flowey said.
“What’s a loli?” Teepo and Elize said at the exact same time as they turned back.
Vahn reminded quiet. Flowey simply rolled their eyes. “Nothing important. Just go.” They told them. Elize shrugged before walking the way the flower directed. Vahn was having a silent conversation with Meta, his Ra-seru on his right wrist.
“Yo, Vahn buddy!” Teepo said, circling around the blunette's head. “You're going to be left behind!”
“Alright, alright, I’m coming.” Vahn said as he ran to catch up. As Elize was muttering to herself, saying something about Artes and healing comes first - nearly tripped herself when she lost focus on where she was going.
“H-hey! Watch where you're going!” Flowey yelped at her. If she broke the pot, the flower couldn’t move on their own yet, after all.
She yelped. “S-sorry!”
“Clumsy Elize!” Teepo said as he floated past lazily, doing slow cartwheels.
“You don’t know how tempting you're making it for me to shoot at you, and how disappointed it makes me that I don’t know how.” Flowey deadpanned to the floating doll.
“Alright you guys, let’s not start something here...” Vahn suggested.
“Don’t bother when you do know.” Elize told Flowey.
“I’ll probably have forgotten by then,” Flowey said. The flower gave the impression that it would shrug if it had shoulders. But it didn’t. Because flower.
“Guys, come on!” Vahn exclaimed in an attempt to get the two to stop fighting.
“I cannot ‘come on’. I am in a flower pot. And don’t know how to do that… swooping, thing.” Flowey said with complete seriousness.
Suddenly, Vahn’s gauntlet glowed, Vahn could hear its voice. “... Right…” He said before turning his attention to the other two. “Let’s just try to find our way out of here... Ok?”
Teepo and Elize nodded. “Alright.” Flowey rolled their eyes again, but nodded as well.
“Right now, Meta says we shouldn’t be talking loudly or else risk the chance of attracting wooden wolf constructs.” Vahn said.
“Meta?” Elize said, looking back at him briefly.
“That isn’t like Main and possessed by lotta AI chip thingies right?” Teepo shook a bit.
Elize squinted her eyes at him a bit. “Wait, how do you know that?”
“He had a smart moment, congratulations.” Flowey said dryly. The group moved forwards for a little more, before the trees thinned. They were met with a large castle across a well maintained wooden bridge.
“My Ra-Seru.” Vahn finally answered after the trip. Vahn raised his hand to show the red gauntlet on his wrist - which appeared to be some sort of blade with a green gem in it’s center.
“I have no idea what that is.” Elize said while Teepo nodded.
“Anyway, I think we should focus on the castle? With possibly life, considering how that bridge looks like it was either just made or fixed,” Flowey said, bobbing its… head… to it.
Elize and Teepo just nodded, not having any objections.
“How sturdy is it?” Vahn asked as he took an experimental step onto it.
“Well, I think it looks sturdy enough to carry us. I mean, it’s not like it looks like it’s been abandoned for decades.” Flowey said.
“Let’s go already!” Teepo said as he bounced off the bridge several time with a hard and loud smack. “See? It’s fine! What a bunch of babies…”
“It's either make sure it's safe to step on or end up dead where you stand.” Vahn commented with a sigh, Meta glowed softly again.
“Let’s just go. If any are faulty, and you get hurt, I’ll just LOAD, okay?” Flowey said, irritated. They’d recovered a bit of energy, and was confident they’d be fine.
“What is that anyway? LOAD?” Elize said as she took a few steps onto the bridge.
“Just some undertale mechanic that I guess… came into reality…” Vahn said as he still hasn’t overcome the shock of their costumes somehow being real.
“Uh, okay.” Was the blonde’s response. “So, do any of you know what happened to us? Last thing I remember was going to a con.”
“Some jerk sold us stuff and we bought it and were sent here.” Flowey said, giving her the short version.
“As our costumes?” She continued, looking only slightly more confused.
“Yes. Because again, jerk. I can’t even move on my own… stupid jerk…” Flowey grumbled.
“What is your problem anyhow? Why are you acting so much like…” Vahn paused as realized dawned on him. “... Did your soul get affected?” he said.
“Probably.” Flowey said. “I can’t even feel it... if it even is there. If it is, it’s probably next to worthless.” The flower said, drooping a little bit.
Elize and Teepo looked totally lost, humming in confusion. “The thing that lets you feel. Mines broken.” Flowey deadpanned.
“...Seriously?” Vahn said with in disbelief in his voice.
“Yes.” The yellow flower said. “That is what SOUL’s in UT do. They let you feel, at least positive emotions. Mine is broken, at best.” Flowey told them. It was getting irritated with the questioning.
Meta on his arm suddenly glowed. “... What?” Vahn said as he looked at the wrist armor. “... They are?” he said before looking behind him.
“What? What’d he say?” Flowey asked.
“Timberwolfves coming this way.” Vahn warned. “He senses them coming from that direction.
“Timber whadas?” Teepo said, looking around while floating up. “I don’t see anything.”
“Then they’re not close, get to the castle, something that important should have guards!” Flowey ordered.
The sound of a howl followed by others alerted the group. Teepo yelped before zooming behind Elize. “My hero…” The girl said sarcastically while deadpanned a little.
“Fight or Flight, choose quickly, guys.” Vahn said, he looked like he wanted to book it.
“Flight!” Teepo answered immediately. “Literally in my case.”
“Run! Run!” Elize pressed.
“Flight, we don’t know how to use any powers!” Flowey shouted. “Spoiler, I think this is the same pack, you don’t win!”
“Welp, you heard the flower!” Vahn said as he ran across the bridge.
Elize ran as well, Teepo making a loud “Qaahhhhh!” ing noise. The group managed to make it to the other side, but the wolves were right on their heels.
His gauntlet glowed softly as Vahn raised his arm into the air. A bright light filled everyone’s vision, the light cleared up and everyone noticed there is a strange creature hovering in front of Vahn.
“Why the hell didn’t you do that before?!” Flowey shouted in annoyance.
“Hey, Meta decided that, not me!” Vahn shouted back. The creature in question had no eyes, with a metal bird beak, a long bone spine that ended with two pincers as its legs. Its two pincers glowed red - before launching a fireball at the incoming wooden abominations. The first one it hit was set on fire, causing it to leap off of the bridge and into the deep unknown.
“Keep running!” Flowey shouted, them being a little away from the castle still.
“Ah, r-right!” Elize said, snapping out of her stupor and starting running again. Vahn followed him, while the Gimard threw out a few more fireballs at the wooden pack, it eventually decided to follow Vahn as well. “What i-”
“Later!” Teepo interrupted her as he held onto her shoulder with his mouth.
“Living first, questions later!” Flowey agreed. They soon reached the wall, with the creature and the wooden wolfs at their backs.
The type of creature that Vahn had summoned was a Seru of fire, just one of many.
“How do we get in?” Vahn asked as Gimard turned around to face the wolves, it kept on casting the fireball again and again one at a time at each wolf. On the fourth cast, the fire fizzled out of it’s talons, Gimard backed away from the wolves before letting out a screeching cry of challenge.
At that moment, they heard the sounds of wings flapping.
“Halt, in the name of the guar-timberwolves!?” one bizarre vision greeted their sights as it said his line in resolute shock.
A little horse wearing armor and a helmet with a mane, coated white and carrying a sword in a scabbard hanging by its belly. It quickly grabbed the hilt of the blade as he folded his wings, falling a short distance to the ground - and unsheathing once on ground.
“They’re so cute!” Elize said in response to the sight of this.
The other armored horse went to the ragtag group of meals-to-be and shouted “You will stand there until we deal with this things!” with a feminine voice as she added “Do not intervene, lest you get in our way!” as she too grabbed something from her pouch the moment she landed, taking a peculiar bag with a fuse going into it.
“Well, considering I can’t move, I have no problem with that,” Flowey sarcastically replied.
“Hey, that’s fine, just don’t hurt Gimard.” Vahn said while pointing at the seru creature.
Nodding curtly, the sword horse went to the bridge to serve as choking point to the wooden wolves while the other winged horseguard rose to the air towards the bridge - and another flying guard coming with a bag on its mouth hanging with a short fuse coming out of its closed end.
“Y’know, we’d be more secure if you let us in,” Flowey commented to a nearby horse.
“You will remain there until questioned.” The nearby horse with a horn on its forehead said curtly, as his companion - another horned guard - took place on the other side of the motley group.
The two winged horses let go of their bags towards the timberwolves, them starting to shine and spark at the fuse…
Until they reached about a feet above the wooden creatures being kept at bay by the swordshorse, where the two bags detonated with a flash, and the wolves catched on fire from the tar-like substance burning them into madness as they leapt off the bridge’s ropes that kept it in place.
“Cooool.” Teepo said… before being curtly cut short by several other armored horses that had arrived without them noticing.
“You will be brought in now for questioning. Do not resist.” The leader of the team of guards stated, armor gleaming with a sun and moon insignia on its plate.
Gimard let out a soft hiss, only for it to be silenced by a glow of Vahn’s gauntlet Meta, it backed up and stayed close to Vahn.
“Good choice, otherwise we will muzzle your pet.” Another of the guards stated curtly as they pointed their weapons slightly towards them, herding them into the courtyard.
Vahn didn’t object as he didn’t want any trouble, Gimard hovered close behind. Elize and Teepo didn’t look as sure as they followed after, the young girl getting meek under the stern gazes.
The group was in an interrogation room now, Flowey looking inpatient, as Elize was still being drilled on by the guards. “Ugh, this is taking forever!” Flowey complained.
Vahn hushed Flowey, who took a bite at him, snarling. Vahn threatened the flower by igniting his gauntlet for a second before making it go out.
The Flower huffed, wilting a little as they grumbled.
While Vahn waited, he could for some reason hear Gimard’s panicked thoughts in the cage it was being in, it did not like being away from it’s Master. Meta had to calm it down quite a few times so far.
Elize was in another room, sitting at a table with two ponies there. Teepo was restrained, both by the guards and Elize herself so she could hold something tightly.
“Any reason you were so close to the north castle border?” A black and grey bat unicorn named Night Twister asked.
“R-running from the Timber Wolves.” Elize squeaked a bit while Teepo could only murmur.
“And why were you in the Everfree?” Night Twister asked.
Elize tilted her head. “E-everfree?”
“Yes, that’s what the forest is called.” Night Twister said as he narrowed his eyes.
“O-oh, I-I don’t… don’t know…” She said, not meeting his gaze.
Glaring at her, Night Twister turned his head slightly to one of the silent guards close to the door.
“Sergeant Blue Bloom, please send a request for a unicorn specialist for hypnotic procedures and mind exploration.” he said curtly as the guard knocked on the door with one hoof, leaving and being replaced by another guard.
Elize knew what that meant and squeaked again, shrinking in herself. Soon, a unicorn guard came in.
“Alright, what do you need?” He asked the guards.
“I’ve noticed she’s been avoiding my sights. I need you to see what she knows.” Night Twister asked.
“About?” He questioned. “You know what I need, gimme specifics.”
“She claims she doesn’t know why she was in the Everfree Forest, I’d like to see what memories she’s got during that time.” Night said.
“Alright.” He said, going over to her. “It’ll be okay miss, just relax, and we can let you go quicker, okay?” He said gently. Elize flinched away from him, squeezing Teepo harder...to the point where his eyes looked like they were going to pop out of his head. He felt like it too, from the strained noises he was making.
Sighing, the Stallion cast a calming spell on her, causing her to become drowsy…
“Where are we going now?” Flowey asked inpatiently, being held by Elize again.
“Your answer is as good as mine.” Vahn said and Elize nodded a little bit, looking shyer than ever.
“This is stupid. All we did was literally run from Timberwolves. Hell, I didn’t do anything! I can’t move!” Flowey exclaimed in aggravation.
“You were armored and heavily armed strangers that led Timberwolves into the castle entrance.” One of the guards flanking them stated curtly, “they normally keep to themselves inside the Everfree.”
Another guard keeping the rear of the group stated in addition “The princesses will pass on judgement on you, based on what happened and the results from the interrogation.”
“Oooh, a Princess!?” Teepo said, suddenly in a better mood.
“So because we ran for our lives, we’re in trouble?” Flowey asked. “Sure, that’s fair. I’ll be sure to just throw myself at the thing next time.”
“F-flowey, please stop.” Elize said, looking from guard to guard nervously.
The flower huffed, but let up.
“Comments aside, you don’t have papers that prove your origins - so that makes you unknown travelers.” another of the guards commented casually, as if he didn’t listen to the commentary being done by the weird foo-flower individual.
Flowey was going to comment, but didn’t, since he was smart enough to not completely antagonize them.
His Gimard started panicking in its cage only to stop when one of the guards told it to be quiet. Soon, the group reached a pair of giant doors.
Vahn remained quiet as today was only getting more odd by the minute, only thing left to complete is for them to suddenly meet the wizard of oz.
The doors opened to a large hall. Elize and her doll were easily impressed, the girl losing some of her fear, trading it for awe. Flowey looked unamused, rolling his eyes. Vahn watched on in curiosity as he walked after the dressed girl. They were brought forwards to a raised part of the room, two thrones raised up above them with two mares in them. Vahn got down on one knee, he assumed they were of royalty due to the title and an air of presence they held.
Flowey kept quiet. He wasn’t a good negotiator and couldn’t risk LOADing a bunch of times to get them to do what he wanted.
The first pony was easily the tallest out of everyone present, with a snow white coat, pink eyes and a pink soft mane and tail that seemed to flow in an otherwise intangible wind. She wore a golden crown with a pink gem encrusted at the center, a golden...collar...thing, also with a pink jewel at the center. On all four hooves were yellow horseshoe like slippers that sparkled a bit. Finally, one her flank was a depiction of the sun, similar to those on banners and emblems the group had seen prior.
She had a stern expression, but it lacked hostility or aggression and was more that akin to a mother looking ready to scold a child. Her expression softened just a tad upon gazing on Elize’s nervous and terrified demeanor.
Flowey was slouched, with a bit of a emotionless expression on his face, but underneath there was depression, something that Celestia could see when holding her gaze on him for a few seconds. Again, she let her sternness fall a bit but still held her face enough to look serious.
The other stood up from her throne. She was tall, but not quite as much as the other. She had a slightly desaturated blue tinted coat with a moderate blue mane that curled at the ends. Her eyes were a kind of silver, the hardness making Elize whimper at the gaze. She wore a smaller crown colored a darker blue with a matching necklace. On her flank was a crescent moon upon dark blue night sky.
She looked upon the group, not letting up her gaze in the slightest to anything - her face remaining neutral.
“Princess Celestia and Princess Luna, rulers of the land of Equestria!” one of the guards at the front announced as he stepped aside, his companions pushing the humans lightly with the tips of the spears.
“Your friend has manners, kneel as well.” one of the guards said to the remaining humans that didn’t kneel, them obeying stiffly. And in Elize’s case, shakily.
Flowey rolled his eyes - before one of the guards said to the open room “There is also the matter of this bizarre flower, your Highnesses. It talks… We haven’t figured out how.”
This drew both of the rulers to raise their eyebrows slightly in surprise.
One of the guards, the same one with the armor that had both emblems cleared his throat before saying “Your Highnesses, these individuals were found trespassing upon the northern entrance of the castle of the two sisters, bringing timberwolves with them.”
“Bringing? We didn’t have any treat or w-”
“Teepo!” Elize said, pulling the doll down and clutching him in her arms.
“However, thanks to cross testimonies, along with evidence from mind-scan done by specialist Third Eye from the royal guard, we have confirmed that they don’t know where they are, how they got here, and what the wolves were in reality.”
Taking a breath, he added “Their memories are corrupted by an unknown magic - our chance to recover those memories from them is beyond hope. Also… they claim to be of a species called “hyuuman”, the flower included.”
The white, presumably Princess Celestia, nodded to the guards. “Commander Light Star, is that all that you found?” She asked politely.
“Yes, your highness.” The stallion said as he stepped aside.
She nodded in acceptance before addressing to the small group. “Your names, what are they?” She asked.
“Flowey, Flowey the Flower,” Flowey said, introducing himself.
“Vahn.” the blue haired teen said, not raising his head unless dismissed from his bow. After a moment of silence, a warm gentle voice entered the minds of Luna and Celestia. “Meta.”The two rulers widened their eyes slightly, but kept their composure well enough.
Elize was much the same. “E-Elize L-lotus.” She said, keeping her head down.
Celestia nodded again. “I am Princess Celestia, co-ruler along with my sister.” She said, glancing at her sister and nodding to her.
This time, Luna started speaking.
“We hope you can forgive our… precautions, but things haven’t been peaceful as of late.” Luna sighed as she continued, “We are in conflict with another nation, and because of that we need to be aware of strangers with unusual… artifacts and powers.”
At this point, she showed a certain spark of interest in the newcomers presence before them.
“Yes, you have been observed by our finest - but fear not, we meant no ill-will about it.” She then gave Celestia a meaningful glance, which she took quickly enough as to pass unnoticed.
Unnoticed by everyone but Flowey, that is. Flowey’s eyes narrowed, suspicion growing. What did they know…
“My sister is correct, I do hope it was not too undesirable.” Celestia said. “You may raise.”
Vahn rose to his feet, his red armored gauntlet began to glow. “Forgive me if I have surprised you two, I didn’t mean to announce so suddenly.” Meta said telepathically, this time everyone within the room heard him.
Flowey was startled for a second, then grumbled something about stupid things not doing useful stuff when needed.
“It-” Celestia started.
“What the heck was that!” Teepo yelled, looking around wildly.
“Look toward the glow, young one.”Meta suggested telepathically. Both he and Elize looked to the glow, both in wonder and confusion.
“W-wait, is t-that Meta?” Elize asked.
Vahn raised his arm to show the glowing gauntlet while the green jewel has changed to look somewhat like an unmoving slitted eye.
“Woah, freaky.” Teepo muttered.
“Perfect time to introduce yourself.” Flowey deadpanned.
“If you were in my position, you would be quiet too when you’re unsure of who is an ally and who is an enemy.” Meta spoke with reason.
Flowey could list several reasons why now was a bad time, the main one being ponies are usually skittish as all hell, but didn’t because then their foreknowledge would come into question.
“Meta, correct?” Celestia said, looking directly at the eye. “What are you, if I may ask?” She said, unintentionally making Elize squeak and snapping back to look at the two sisters.
“A Ra-seru.” Meta answered.
“The heck's a… Ra-sewer? Raw-Sewer, ew.” Teepo said, shuddering. Meta chose to ignore that minor mistake.
“Regardless of the misspeaking, I wonder the same.” Celestia said, smiling just a little bit. “I have never heard of a Ra-Seru.”
“Forgive me, Princess Celestia. But if I had to tell the whole story, we would be here all day.”Meta said.
She nodded in understanding, taking it in stride. “I suppose it can wait another day…” Celestia said, barely showing her mild disappointment.
“There is one question I have for both you and Meta.. What is this creature that we have locked away?” Luna asked then gestured to allow the guards to bring it in. It was strange bird softly thrashing in its cage.
“That would be my Fire Seru, Gimard. And right now, it’s panicking since it can’t get to me.” Vahn explained.
With a nod from both rulers, the guard opened the cage - and the fire seru levitated towards Vahn and landed around his neck, hissing protectively at the guards closest to Vahn.
“Okay… so what’s gonna happen now?” Flowey asked with childish impatience.
The two rulers eyed one another with a side glance, and Celestia said in answer “Well, little human, since you are all already here, and have nowhere to go to until the way you arrived is researched… I think we could welcome you into our kingdom after you have all rested.”
She looked thoughtful as she added “It isn’t a pleasant thing, what you went through, but we must care for our subjects’ safety.” Waving a hoof to the guard commander, she ordered politely “Please, lead them to the guest rooms, and send food to their quarters-”
She turned her head to them in curiosity as she asked “What is it that hyuumans eat?”
“Well, I’m a flower now, so your guess is good as mine,” Flowey said.
Raising an eyebrow, Celestia suppressed a little smile that formed on her mouth - which didn’t go unnoticed by said flower.
“..Why does that question sound so… familiar..” Vahn whispered with a shrug. “Well.. We’re pretty much omnivores…” He said.
Unlike their running imagination, where they pictured themselves being hunted by a horde of adorable little horses wielding pitchforks and torches, they received this answer from the white ruler.
Celestia smiled as she said “We do have guests that have meat here, so we are not as squeamish as you seemed to think we are,” she added playfully before saying “I suggest you ask for the fish, though. It is fresh, and comes from the river close by.”
“I wonder what I can eat…” Flowey mumbled to themself. What CAN it eat?
“I bet fertilizer.” Teepo said with a grin.
“Don’t try it,” Flowey said, unintentionally using the scary face on him. The doll yelped and zipped away to Elize.
“If it's the only choice, I suppose it’ll have to do..” Vahn said, he didn’t exactly like fish so he’ll have to accept what’s available.
“I-it sound great, in m-my opinion.” Elize said, liking the idea of having fish. Teepo nodded along as the two started fantasising about different Seafood meals.
“In any case, the fauna of the Everfree is quite diverse as it is dangerous, should you want to vary your meals.” Princess Luna said with a little smile on her face, as if reading their thoughts.
Flower, face now normal, continued to think on what it’d actually eat. And how, really, because being a Flower did not give one a stomach. Elize was too far into her imagination to realize Luna had spoken..
“I know nothing about the animals and creatures of the Everfree forest… I’m not even sure if they’re even compatible with our diet, since this is a different world from what we came from.” Vahn said.
“Well… that’s a potential problem.” Flowey commented.
“Hah, you’re just being picky!” Teepo said, circling around Flowey’s head then switching to circle around Vahn’s.
“Do I need to make a face again?” Flowey threatened Teepo.
“I can eat you!” He replied, his mouth stretching to twice the size of Flowey, including pot. “Wait, you’d tasted gross…” Teepo said, closing his mouth.
“And it wouldn’t matter anyway,” Flowey added, doing the scary face again.
Teepo flinched at that. “Why is that scary, I’ve seen worse!”
“I dunno, maybe I’m unintentionally using some kinda magic?” Flowey suggested, before gaining a smug look. “Still funny it works.”
Vahn turned toward the strange floating doll. “I’m not being picky, I’m being cautious” Vahn said to Teepo.
“Whatever.” Teepo replied, floating back to Elize while cartwheeling a little bit. The group was soon escorted to their rooms, with Flowey being in Elize, since she seemed to be the one that carried them around.
