Ducking and dodging incoming attacks, Rarity did her best to not get hit with any of those practice dummies that were pursuing her so she blasted them with a white light magical blast reducing the dummies to nothing to ash. Starlight's jaw dropped from seeing that awesome display of angel power and at the same time she was grateful Rarity was getting it.
"Alright that should be enough for today. Go eat something and we'll get back to it in 10 minutes?" Starlight said, pressing a button that stopped the training mode.
Rarity nodded.
She walked out of the cabin and looked up in the far distance to notice a red glowing light coming from a few meters ahead. Starlight got closer to it and all of a sudden Aria went in for a sneak attack but Star punched her hard in the face, sending her flying into 12 pine trees before finally hitting the bark back first with a ton of force and velocity.
"I should've known that Sunset would send one of her cult followers to come after me" Starlight said.
Aria slowly stood up right; she cracked her back to stop the shooting pain coming from her spine that was caused by Starlight did earlier.
"I'm here for the girl you have" Aria said.
"The only way your going to get her you'll have to go through me first" Starlight warned as her horn glowed in a light blue hue.
Aria rushed her; Starlight moved out of the way and unleashed a punch in the stomach then a magical blast went straight through Aria's chest as she fell to the ground coughing up blood. Starlight looked down at her with a blank stare which didn't bode well for Aria.
"Once...Twilight rises...Not even the power of an angel can stop her" Aria laughed in between coughing up blood.
Starlight picked up Aria and slammed her hard into the tree trunk increasing the pain that was already there but now it was even worse.
"You listen to me Aria I want to understand that your little cult is going down and never return" Starlight said sternly as she drove her whole hoof inside her chest, killing her.
After she breathed for the last time Starlight dropped the mare's body as she noticed her siren pendant deactivated to let Glimmer know Aria is dead.
She turned around and walked back inside the Shaman's cabin.
Meanwhile Ponyville was being overrun with mindless pony servants making preparations for Twilight's ascension. One mare in particular who was happy about this was Sunset Shimmer who looked down at the slaves doing her bidding thanks to Adagio's singing to keep them occupied for the time being.
All of a sudden Princess Celestia barged into Shimmer's castle uninvited. Sunset saw the reflection of her former teacher so she didn't need to turn around to realize who it is as Sunset already knew.
"Princess how nice of you to drop by on such short notice. I do apologize for lack of manners my guards have, I will punish them accordingly" Sunset said turning to face Tia.
"Cut the crap Sunset! What have you done Twilight?!?" Celestia responded sharply not wanting to hear any crap from Shimmer.
"Twilight is ascending into god like status and when she arrives, no pony will never stop her not even the princess sisters" Sunset said smirking.
Celestia gritted her teeth before she speared Sunset out the window and through a house roof where both mares were laying flat on their backs from that. Sunset got up laughing manically looking down at a struggling Tia and put her hoof on her neck.
"Face it Tia you lost accept defeat and maybe I'll let you breathe" Sunset offered, increasing the pressure of her hoof on Tia's neck.
Tia's eyes grew wide as she was able to push off Sunset.
"I will not accept defeat until I draw my last breath! Until then I will not bow!" Celestia proclaimed standing up effortless.
And I was afraid this wasn't going to be more fun Sunset smirked devilishly.
Both of them engaged in a clash of horns as their auras glowed around them. Sunset uppercutted Tia into the air then using her demon wings followed her to keep up her attack. A kick to Sunset's cheek was delivered by Celestia, causing her to twirl around in a spiral motion into the cold concrete ground.
"One last chance Sunset, stop this madness and I will spare you" Celestia pleaded.
Sunset only smirked and transformed into her demon side then in a swift motion; she clipped Celestia's wings forcing her to come crashing down causing a small but powerful earthquake with Sunset laughing at her handiwork. Looking down, she could see a bleeding Princess Celestia who stood up barely.
Sunset then landed on top of her then threw up hot lava on to Celestia's face. The sun princess screamed out as her face began to melt and harden like a rock.
Once she stopped screaming, Sunset stomped on her head smirking.
That takes care of her Sunset walked back reverting back to her normal form.
"I see you had fun over here with Celestia" Adagio said, dropping in from above after dealing with other business elsewhere.
"Yes I did, so how is Twilight doing?" Sunset asked eagerly.
"Her process is almost complete" Adagio responded.
"Excellent and also Adagio have Dash make Rarity one of us at that little dojo place" Sunset commanded.
Adagio nodded and went to go get Rainbow Dash.
This is going to be the greatest thing that we have ever done....so I ask: Can I get an amen? Sunset disappeared in the fire.
Evil lurks in places you would never imagine and tries to charm its way into your life
Rainbow stood by a chamber that Twilight was in surrounded by nothing but darkness and shadows. Her normal purple wings shredded all of it's feathers and only had dragon like wings now with the bones sticking out, creating a massive wingspan. Next, her sparkle cutie mark changed as well into a darker more dangerous version of the original that Dash admired. Machines whirred while gears turned as the rainbow pegasi looked in awe at what her best friend was becoming.
Adagio came up from behind gently kissing Dash's neck forcing her to look at the siren.
"I have a job for you," Adagio began to say, "I want you to go find Rarity and Starlight up in those mountains then bring them up here alive so master Sunset Shimmer can deal with them."
"I will not fail" Dash responded kissing Adagio.
They held the kiss for a few seconds before breaking it, letting a small saliva trail come down from their mouths. Dash then flew off leaving Adagio to watch Rainbow go find Rarity and Starlight.
"Very soon Twilight your time will come and when it does no pony or angel will stop you" Adagio proclaimed placing a single hoof on the glass staring at Twilight.
A growing evil was inside Twilight which had caused Adagio's pendant to glow a little brighter. She noticed that her pendant gem was somehow communicating with Twilight.
Bring me Sunset Shimmer
"Yes Twilight I will do so" Adagio responded obediently.
Rarity stood on the top of the ledge looking up at Ponyville in the distance. Letting out a sigh she hoped things have gotten better and not worse since they left to learn about this 'angel power' Starlight was talking about. A small gust of wind blew past Rarity in the opposite direction so when she turned around a dagger landed on a tree branch.
"Next time I won't miss" Dash said appearing out of the shadows removing her hood.
"Rainbow Dash? What are you doing?" Rarity asked confused and baffled.
"I think you know Rarity. After what happened to Twilight she came to me one night, you wanna know what happened? I was enlightened! I was wrong about Sunset and her followers; They showed me the real light and what those princesses lied to us about everything, so Rarity I want you to join us and together we can rule Equestria" Rainbow explained offering her hoof towards Rarity.
All of a sudden the angel stone shined brighter burning away darkness that was protecting Rainbow Dash.
What was flash of light? Doesn't matter, she's going down Rarity charged at her.
Dash flew up and tried to dive bomb her but Rarity moved quickly letting her crash down. Dash got out, shook herself off and flew towards her target and grabbed her by the stomach flying 15 ft in the air. Rarity punched Rainbow repeatedly until she finally let her fall.
"AHHHHHHHHHHHH!" Rarity screamed as she saw the ground get closer.
She shut her eyes for the inevitable but instead she was floating above ground with white angel wings.
"How on earth did these appear?" Rarity asked looking at them.
"That's impossible! Those wings are only for the ones who are worthy of that stone!" Dash yelled out.
"I have a habit of proving ponies like you wrong darling?" Rarity responded reappearing in front of Dash flapping her new angel wings.
Taking off her cloak she had a dragon like wings with the same wingspan as Rarity, one eye red and one green, she also had sharp canines.
"This is where you die Rarity! This mountain will be drenched in your blood courtesy of me" Dash said smiling devilishly.
"We shall see Rainbow" Rarity said sternly.
The two of them clashed in a test of strength to see who was going to crack first. At first it seemed that Rarity looked worried because she has flashbacks of how much Dash wanted to see Twilight's smiling face or how she loved her with every fiber in her being.
Now that feeling was gone for a single reason.
Dash pushed Rarity with deadly force, making her end up on the other end of a wall through the shaman's house. Hitting almost everything in the cabin before skidding onto the snow as Dash lowered to Rarity's level.
"This is all you got? I'm disappointed, I figured you would at least put up more of a fight but it seems that you have a glass jaw" Dash said disappointed.
She was about to pick Rarity up but the fashionista gave her an uppercut sending her flying. She then took to the air and punched her several times in the chest without any hint of hesitation. Rarity grabbed Dash's tail and twirled her around before letting her go and crash into a herd of trees getting major scraps and bruises before landing on a pine cone to the ass. She yelped in pain along with a few curse words; Rarity landed where she was and looked as blood was coming out of her like a leaky pipe.
"Dash I never wanted us to fight like this. You were always a helpful caring mare that was willing to lend a hoof. After Twilight left with Sunset you just....shut down then became this. You will always be my friend Rainbow Dash" Rarity said voicing her frustrations about Dash.
Rainbow let out a snort, "You have never had somepony ripped away from you knowing you could never get it back! Twilight meant the world to me and if I have to die just so you can understand then so be it"
Tears fell from Rainbow's cheek as she closed her eyes and waited for Rarity to issue the final blow.
Goodbye Rainbow Dash Rarity's horn lit up a white hue that reduced the pegasi to nothing but dust that was blown later by wind.
Rarity wiped a single tear from her eyes then reaching into her saddlebag and pulled the element of loyalty with the initials 'R.D' on the back of it.
"I know that was hard for you to do Rarity" Starlight said coming outside.
Rarity let out a sniffle so Starlight went up to her and gave her a reassuring hug.
Looming above them were Adagio and Sunset with smirks on their faces.
"Dash sacrificed herself to keep Twilight's name alive but she did fail to retrieve Rarity and Starlight" Adagio said.
"Not to worry all of our fallen comrades will be reborn once Twilight ascends. This may have been a sacrifice but now we know that she is worthy" Sunset said pointing to Rarity.
"True but once Twilight arrives her fire will go cold" Adagio proclaimed.
They both disappeared in the darkness.
