Twilight Sparkle was reading through a list of stuff she bought for the next week as Twilight and Spike were both running out of food so they had gottten more today so they wouldn't have to get more until they ran out again which would be in a week after they unpacked everytthing Twilight laid on the couch and Spike went out to somewhere.
Twilight wondered where Spike was going and when he would be back, she didn't bother asking him though as it was his own business, she just wanted to make sure he was safe from any potential harm, while she relaxed there she looked out a window in her room and saw ponies pass by her castle.
Twilight put down her book and she went to walk outside to enjoy the fresh air so that she could stay healthy as she went outside she took a stroll and decided that she might shop that day even though she already got everything for the week. She saw ponies stroll past her that she recognized.
As she walked through town she came upon a stand at a market but she wondered where the pony was, she looked around for them but they were nowhere to be seen, she wondered why the booth was abandoned. She looked around for the pony and asked ponies of they have seen this pony but they all answered that they couldn't remember.
Twilight decided to stay by the booth, she didn't like the fact that it was abandoned as ponies could steal from it, she didn't like the fact that ponies could steal from an innocent pony's booth so she decided to watch it for who ever that pony was. When ponies came to look at it Twilight explained she was guarding the booth for the pony that left it.
She looked out for thieves so that if somepony tried to steal from the booth she could stop them and report them for trying to commit a crime against a citizen who was just trying to make money. She kept her eyes peeled open as she looked around at her surroundings in Ponyville.
She knew that it would worry her friends and Spike if she had to stay there all day but she just felt uncomfortable leaving the unknown pony's table alone so she didn't want to leave it until the owner of the booth came back. The owner was selling some valuable items as well, items that looked pretty expensive.
She knew watching the table wasn't any of her business but she didn't care, she wanted to watch it so that the pony wouldn't loose anything that was on their table, it was deed she had to do in order to keep peace and harmony in Equestria and to make sure that no more crimes continued in Equestria.
Twilight decided to do the right thing and watched the table by herself so that nopony could steal from the table by sitting by the booth and looked at all the jewelry, she wondered if this pony made the jewelry by herself, she knew that Rarity would love to buy all this jewelry. She rolled her eyes as she imagined Rarity getting excited over the jewelry.
A few ponies asked her if she was the pony running the booth but Twilight said that she wasn't and she was just watching it for the pony that was even if she probably never met the pony and even though the pony never told her to watch the table, she wondered who the pony that owned the table was as she knew that Rarity didn't sell stuff on a table outside as she always sold stuff inside the comfort of Carousal Boutique.
Twilight kept herself on the lookout for the pony who might come near her and tell her they were running it she hoped they would give her a chance to explain why she was watching it, she could have reported it for being left unintended but she thought that this was the easiest way.
She wondered if ponies would mistake her for the owner and attempt to buy stuff but Twilight would make sure to tell them that she just decided to watch it to make sure nopony stole from the table. She looked around for the pony who might be the owner then finally some random mare came up to her. Twilight was relieved that the mare came back for her table as she was worried the mare might have forgotten about the table she was running.
"Thanks for watching the table, I hadn't realized that I had left it in the unprotected state that it was in, I feel stupid for not having somepony watch the stuff that I was selling while I had left it in the spot that it was located in, somepony could have stolen it without even paying for it!" The mare said as she told Twilight she was grateful for her. Twilight nodded and told the mare that she was glad to do it.
"I'm happy to help and I'm also very glad that nothing bad happened to your stuff, next time you leave your table make sure you have somepony with you so they could watch it for you if you go somewhere, your not stupid you just weren't careful but next time you will be careful because a lot of your stuff could have been stolen, you need to be careful when you sell stuff in a place like this." Twilight said, the mare nodded in understanding.
"Should I give you anything as a token of gratutude, should I pay you for what you did for me even if you didn't know me?" The mare asked Twilight Twilight shook her head as that wasn't necessary.
"No you don't have to but thanks for considering that." Twilight said, the mare nodded as she smiled, the mare was extremely lucky that a pony like Twilight Sparkle existed.
Twilight was glad that she was able to help somepony.
