Have you ever imagined a world, exactly the same, but one decision was different? Some decisions can drastically change someone's life. -Celestia and Shining Dawn's Wedding- "And do you, Celestia, take Shining Dawn as your lawfully wedded husband?" The pastor asked. "I do." Celestia said.Please show up soon Burst. "Then If nobody has any objections..." Burst was getting ready to kick down the door and crash the wedding, But just as he was, a pair of Dawn Treaders held him back. "Let go of me! I need to stop this!" But it being that the Dawn Treaders Don't have brains, they didn't hear anything. Where is he? Was everyone's thought as the pastor finished. "Then I now pronounce you husband and wife." 'AHAHAHAHAHA! The job is finished! You're mine, and I have the status of a god!" Shining Dawn exclaimed. I don't understand why he didn't show up! I trusted him! And it's all Nightmare Moon's fault! SHE took him away from me! Celestia thought, getting angrier by the second. "Let's go, my queen." Shining Dawn said to Celestia, a triumphant smirk on his face. One Week Later... Celestia was visiting the Castle of the Two Sisters, looking for answers to her questions. "I know that they won't be here, but I need to look." Celestia said to nobody In particular. "I just can't understand why burst didn't stop this! Did he ever truly love me?" What Celestia failed to notice, was the small black cloud of magic behind her. It begun to consume her. "Agh! W-What's this feeling?! It feels like all of my jealousy and rage is bubbling to the surface! AAAAAAAAAUUUUUGGGGHHHH!!!!!" Celestia screamed. Then everything went black. Once the black mist cleared, Celestia was gone and in her place, a woman with the same white skin, but with hair made of pure fire. she wore bright orange armor, with a red sun as the symbol on the Gauntlet of her right hand. "Ha... Ha... HAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHA! PREPARE FOR THE RISE OF THE NEW ETERNAL GODDESS! DAYBREAKER! And I know JUST who to make my king. But first, one matter to take care of." Shining Dawn's mansion... "Where's that Celestia?! She knows that I hate waiting!" Shining Dawn complained. "I'm right behind you." Daybreaker said, behind Shining Dawn. Dawn turned around, and was amazed with what he saw. "A-Amazing! Where did this come from?" Shining Dawn asked. "I guess you could say, it was always inside of me." Daybreaker replied. "With this power, we can rule the entire world!" Dawn exclaimed. 'You're almost right! Congratulations!" Daybreaker said in a condescending tone. "But there'll be no 'we'. Just me." She said as she shot a blast of pure heat at Shining Dawn! Left in his place, was a smoldering pile of ash. "Now to find my true king," Meanwhile, in ponyville... Burst and the rest of the elements of harmony and heroism (Including Spike, the honorary member), were training in their usual training spot, when Suddenly, a harsh beam of light hit the ground, in front of burst. "What was that?!" Spike Exclaimed. "The beginning of the end for equestria." Daybreaker said, coming down from the sky. "I am Daybreaker. The soon to be queen of equestria. but I just need a king. And that kind is YOU, Burst Stream. MY dragon knight." "C-Celestia? Is that you?" Burst asked. "No. Celestia is my weaker half. I am the being known as Daybreaker!" Daybreaker answered. " And I want YOU to be my king." Soon, Burst and Daybreaker were both Surrounded with a barrier made purely of fire. "I would NEVER join you." Burst spat coldly. "Who said you had a choice?" Daybreaker said as her hands glowed a bright red. "This simple spell allows me t ocontrol whoever I want. Don't even bother fighting it." Those were the last words Burst heard before his entire body was engulfed in flames! Once the flames died down, burst's body has changed! His skin went from white, to a bright orange! and his hair became red! He was wearing orange armor, with the same insignia Daybreaker had on her gauntlet, on it's chestplate. "Ah! What a beautiful king i have created! But I don't think the name Burst Stream suits you anymore. How about..." Daybreaker paused for a moment to think. "Dark Flare?" "An excellent choice, my queen." Burst/Dark Flare responded. his voice was now deeper than before. "Shall we return to the castle of the two?" He asked to Daybreaker. "Indeed we shall, my burst of fire." Daybreaker responded. And with that, they were gone. "W-What just happened?" Spike asked to Inferno. "I- I think we just lost Burst." Inferno replied. Suddenly, moon dropped to.the ground, crying. "This... This is all MY fault! If I had never even existed in the first place, Burst would be just fine right now!" Moon Cried. "We're going to get him back. He brought us all together. It's time we Return the favor. " Fang spoke up, his eyes filled with determination. "He's right! You guys are the elements of harmony and heroism! You can take this Daybreaker person!" Spike encouraged. "Alright. Everyone huddle up. Here's how we're going to save Burst AND Celestia. Meanwhile, at The Castle of the Two sisters... "It Appears that we are going to be raided my queen." Dark Flare said to Daybreaker, as they were watching The remaining elements plan out their storm of the castle in Daybreaker's viewing globe. "Indeed they are. This should be fun." Daybreaker replied. "Go train. Make sure you're ready. And use these." She said, as she gave Dark Flare a Sword, two blasters, and a shield. "They will serve you well, considering that you have no access to your duelist arms." "Yes, my queen. My only purpose is to serve you." Dark Flare bowed as he left the room. Burst's mind... Burst had tried everything. but Nethier him or his dark side could get out of the dome of fire that encased them. "UGH! Why isn't this working?! I've tried everything!" Burst shouted. "As have I, my other half. It appears there is nothing we can do but hope the others save us. we should rest until then. Author's Note in Daybreaker's viewing globe. "Are you ready, my loyal knight?" Daybreaker asked to Burst, now transformed into Dark Flare. "As always, my queen." Dark Flare replied. "Those fools won't know what hit them." He said with a sinister smile. Meanwhile, in Ponyville... "Alright, Does Everyone know the plan?" Inferno asked. "Me and Inferno are going straight to Burst." Moon started. "We know him the best. We can change him back." "And we'll sneak up behind Daybreaker and deliver the first blow." Akage said, standing beside Pinkie. "And after Akage distracts her, I'll use my Yo-Yo to tie her up!" Pinkie added, doing a trick with her Yo-Yo. "And then once she's tied up, we'll all deal as much damage to her as possible, and hold her off while Moon and Inferno work in purifying burst" Ty finished. "That sounds awesome!" Spike said. "But one thing. Why not just get the girls to friendship laser them? That would be just as effective!" "Because, silly!" Pinkie responded. "Then the story wouldn't be as exciting!" "Yeah, okay." Spike rolled his eyes at Pinkie's 'randomness'. "A-And if anyone needs healing, just let me know." Fluttershy added in. "Alright everyone, let's storm the castle." Inferno said. "it's time to get our friends back." The Castle of the Two Sisters... Off in the distance, Daybreaker heard a loud crash sound. "It appears they're here. Get ready." She said to Dark Flare. Let's go!" Infenro exclaimed. "Daybreaker! We're here for Burst!" He called out. "Oh, you mean my newest servant, Dark Flare?" Daybreaker asked as she pointed to the mind controlled Burst. "Come and get him! Here's your chance to test out your new weapons, my knight. Attack!" "Burst! Please try to remember us!" Moon said, as her and Inferno were clashing with him. "We're your friends!" "C'mon man! You were my first friend when I came to Ponyville! You have to remember!" Inferno added in. "My name is Dark Flare now. Burst Stream was weak. I am powerful. I exist to serve my queen." Dark Flare said in response to the two of them. Meanwhile, Daybreaker was watching it all go down. "Excellent. Soon, those fools will be destroyed!" "I wouldn't be so sure about that if I were you." Akage said from behind Daybreaker, as he dealt a major blow to her back. "How DARE you attack the eternal goddess?! I'll make you pay!" Daybreaker yelled. "Nopeity Nope Nope!" Pinkie Pie said, on the other side of Daybreaker. Pinkie used her Yo-Yo to tie Daybreaker up. "Nobody threatens my Akage!" "Well, I'd love to stay and chat, but I should go. You seem pretty tied up, anyways." Akage joked. "Now, if you'll excuse us, we need to save our friend." The battle wasn't going well for either side. Dark Flare was getting tired, and Inferno and Moon Couldn't handle much more either. "Please remember Burst! We need you back!" Inferno begged. Suddenly, Moon's Face lit up.. "Everyone! Start attacking! I have an idea on how to get Burst back! But Don't Destroy him! I'm going inside his mind!"I hope this works. For the sake of Burst and the world! Moon thought as she focused her magic on Dark Flare's head. With a poof, she was gone, and inside of Burst's mind. Strangely enough, it was just a purely white space. In front of moon, was a dome, made entirely of fire. Surrounding it, stone soldiers, but with lave coursing through their bodies. "Lave soldiers. I should've known." Moon Said to herself. "Might as well get started." And with that, Moon went all out. Attacking the lava golems left and right, and destroying any that got in her way. But when Moon thought she was finished, Daybreaker Appeared In Burst's mind as well! "Hello, sister." Daybreaker said, putting as much venom into the word 'Sister' as possible. "I must say, I'm impressed. You took ALL of these golems by yourself. but now, you have to face me." "Oh, so I get the pleasure of destroying you myself, when nobody is watching? That's perfectly fine by me. Shall we?" Moon spat back. And with that, the battle had begun. Both Moon and Daybreaker were refusing to let up, giving off slash after slash with their swords. "You're good. I'll give you that. But are you good enough?" Moon asked to Daybreaker, as she managed to slash Daybreaker in the chest. "I'm better. Now it's time to end this." Daybreaker replied. "Infernal... Sun... Blast!" She yelled as she let out a huge blast of heat from her hands. It hit moon Square in the stomach. But she was still standing, unfazed. "WHAT? How are you still alive?" Moon chuckled. "You forget. This is still Burst's mind. Even if you trapped the real Burst, He'd never let me be harmed. Isn't that right Burst?" She asked as she Teleported Burst from the Fire dome. "That's right Moon. Now let's finish this together!" Burst exclaimed. "Lunar.." Moon started. "Lightning..." Burst added. "Final Strike!" They both yelled, sending a beam of pure white light directly at Daybreaker, destroying her. "Now that that's done, let's get out of here." Moon said. "Gladly." Burst replied as they teleported out of his mind. When Moon was back, she saw that Burst was back to normal. "Burst!" Inferno said. "I missed you man! I'm glad that we got you out of that mess." "Thanks for coming to save me everyone. I owe you." Burst replied. "But... what about Celestia? Is she okay?" He asked, looking over to where Daybreaker was tied up, now seeing Celestia in her place. "Just give her some time to rest. She'll be fine." Moon answered. //-------------------------------------------------------// Epilogue //-------------------------------------------------------// Epilogue It's been one week since the Daybreaker fiasco, and everything was back to normal. Celestia was awake, and was back to normal. Sugar Cube Corner As to be expected, Pinkie Pie was holding a welcome back party for Burst and Celestia. "I can't believe I did all of those terrible things. and it all sparked because I was jealous of Moon. Can you all ever forgive me?" Celestia asked. "We already have." Burst replied. "Now then...
