Fluttershy's Best Boyfriend

The people in Canterlot High were apart ever since Sunset Shimmer took over it. Canterlot High is nothing but an ordinary school where people are neutral and no friendships are made. Other than the Cutie Mark Crusaders, everyone goes into groups of what breed they belong with,

But, there are some people who just won't fit in, like Fluttershy. She always stays in the dark at school because she's always afraid to stand up to people. She loves taking care of animals, but never had an actual friend. She tries to do the right thing and speak in her mind but with people like Sunset Shimmer bullying her, she loses confidence drastically.

Her life before reuniting with her best friends is absolutely the most dreadful time of her life. She never have anyone to do charity work with her to support animal awareness, never gets help with any of her assignments when she needs it, and always pushes everyone away when she messes up. When Fluttershy's alone, she has animals in her backpack to have at least someone she can relate to. Other then that, she feels empty in school.

She wants to have someone to hang out with, someone that will respect her, unlike Sunset Shimmer. And all of this is during the time where the ‘magic of friendship’ never existed.

It's the first day of school and Fluttershy stands behind the school statue. Last year was a nightmare for Fluttershy. Ever since Sunset came along, She kept bullying everyone.

Fluttershy is her main target however.

She ruins her charity for the animals and she even calls pathetic for taking care of them. Sunset hates animals and she thinks it's pointless to take care of them.

Ever since Sunset came to the mirror world all she wants is to be popular and she thinks that what Fluttershy is doing is lame. Sunset wants tough and better people who aren't shy like Fluttershy. She bullies her because she thinks Fluttershy doesn't deserve to be in Canterlot High. And just like every other school of the 1st day, She always humiliates her no matter what.

Sunset gets off the bus and sees Fluttershy hiding. She smirks on how pathetic she can be. As she gets off the bus, she text Snips and Snails to scare the fragile girl.
“I want you Snips to get a bucket full of water from the soccer yard and pour it on Fluttershy. And Snails, go scare her.”

Snips gets a bucket of water from the soccer yard where the gym teachers give to the students after their workout as Snails gets ready to scare Fluttershy. Snails walked up slowly to Fluttershy and screamed. "There's a flood coming to our school!"

Fluttershy reacted and turned around then Snips splashes her with water, making her hair and her clothes wet.

Snips laughs at her. "Happy school year Fluttershame!" Both Snip and Snails continue to laugh as Fluttershy fell to her knees, miserable and humiliated.

Sunset walks toward Fluttershy and stops in front of her, looking down on her with glee. "Just look at her..." She directs her attention to Snips and Snails, who still chuckles to this moment. "... This is why she never gets any friends at all. She's such a coward who only takes care of worthless animals…” She kneels down to her level, getting into her face to make her next statement very clear.

“You are never going to make my level."

Sunset pushes her on the ground, falling flat on her hem skirt and scuff the toe caps of her shoes, ruining the white polish of the leather. Filling her face to the brim of tears, Fluttershy gets up with haste and runs for the school, far away from the trio that grows rather fond of seeing her in her most vulnerable state so quickly. Sunset gets back up and turns to the school, donning a wide smug grin.

Then, a boy name Wiz exited his bus and saw Fluttershy run fast to the school as he stepped onto the pavement. He was surprised to see her so miserable right now. This was indeed the first year of his high school year, so he has never seen someone like Fluttershy before. He wanted to know more about her, if only he had the chances.

Rainbow Dash left from her bus and saw Fluttershy running away. She looked over to Wiz. "It was Sunset Shimmer wasn't it?"

Wiz didn't even understand who Sunset was, but he shook his head to respond to Rainbow.

"That's it." Rainbow boasted angrily. She then confronted Sunset Shimmer before she can make another dastardly move. Wiz decided to follow her, eager to know who this Fluttershy character was.

Sunset and her bandwagon continued to laugh at Fluttershy's torment until Rainbow Dash steps up to them to stop their wicked way. "Oh! Hey, Rainbow Dash." Sunset greets like nothing happened a few moments ago.

Rainbow Dash looks frustrated. "Did you mess with Fluttershy again?”

"No." Both Snips and Snails drags out. Rainbow Dash looks at both of them skeptically. "Uh… we were using our bucket for our Phy Ed class."

"Will you two stop lying to me." She told them. she scared Snips and Snails by chasing them. She came back to stop Sunset, who attempted to walk away from her, but slipping the noose didn't cut it. "Sunset, when are you ever going to change? This is like the 7th time you and your minions ruining her day at school."

Rainbow Dash manages to have Sunset admit that she did mess with Fluttershy, but she’s still not regretful.

"So what?" Sunset responds. "She can't even stand up against us because we’re way better then her."

"Who is this ‘us’ you’re referring to?" Rainbow inquired. "We never hang out because you always bully everyone in this school. AND you always cheat the Fall Formal every year ever since you came here." Rainbow points at her about everything she did in the past.

Sunset wraps her arm around Rainbow’s shoulder, trying to throw off the guilt. "Oh come on Rainbow. Why would you ever defend her anyway? You left her because she always mess up with your goals like your soccer games where she's always stand in place not helping you in the game."

"I could've tell her she can be a cheerleader, but she refused because she wants to hang out with me." She said. "Even if she's always lonely she still has a better heart then you.”

Sunset let go of her in disgust with a “Whatever” before walking back as she continues to talk to Rainbow. "Go back to you reading your stupid Daring Doo books and leave me alone. You wanna help her by yourself? Fine, because I'm not helping anyone!"

She then walks off to school with Rainbow feeling disappointed. Wiz then walks up to Rainbow Dash wanting to know who Fluttershy is.

"Excuse me?" He talks to her with kindness. "Who is that girl who's wet and crying?"

"That's Fluttershy." Rainbow answered. "She's always alone with no one but animals to hang out with."

"Don't you mean take care..... of animals?" He said in wonder.

"I'm sorry I just never had a pet in my life and I couldn't have the time to help her." she shrugged.

"Well, about that other girl you talked to?" he asked again.

"Trust me kid, you don't not want know her." Rainbow warned.

"Well what about Fluttershy? Someone should help that poor girl." Wiz exclaimed before turning his head to Fluttershy, who was hiding by the trees. "Just because she's lonely doesn't mean she should get picked on."

"I'm sorry, but no one is going to do that because they're way too busy. I'm also thinking that she just doesn't fit in because she always lets it go. Maybe it's best for you to leave her alone." Rainbow finished while she walks to school. Wiz had a thought that Fluttershy should get help, but not yet because of being almost late for class. He ran in school while Fluttershy walks slowly to her classroom.

During the middle of the day, Lunchtime commenced. After Wiz got his lunch, he saw Fluttershy, sitting alone. In the interest of knowing her, he sat by her under the circumstance of being very nice. However, Fluttershy moved her hair, hoping that she doesn't get insulted again.

"Um hello?," Wiz talking to her. "My name is Wiz, and this is my first year being in Canterlot High. So, how is it here?"

Fluttershy refused to speak or make eye contact with him. She still feels humiliated about this morning and she continues to eat her lunch. At the worst possible time, things get worse when Sunset Shimmer comes by and starts picking on her.

"Well hello, Fluttershame." Sunset said while she sits by her from the right. Wiz recognizes her because of what Rainbow Dash said about her. He needs to get away from her but he doesn't want to. He wants to know who Fluttershy is and tries to help her but it doesn't help that Sunset is still bullying her. Sunset starts to eat Fluttershy's food, making the yellow girl scared.

"Will you leave her alone?!" Wiz tries to defend her. But, Sunset turns her attention on Wiz.

"Oh yeah? Well, what are you gonna do about that, boy?" She said as she stares at him in a smirky and sassy way. Trying his best to be very brave, Wiz stood strong in order to defend Fluttershy, but at the same time, he came close to giving up. "You're just as weak as her, you're never going to defend yourself in this school because you're pathetic, and you'll probably never gonna get a sweet piece of ass at all..." She boasted as she steals Wiz's chocolate milk. Lightly enraged, Wiz tried to throw those comments out, unaware of Fluttershy looking at him.

"You actually helped me..." she said, making Wiz look up and take a few steps back. He wanted to know Fluttershy, but not like this. The moment was ruined once the bell ring, meaning lunch is over.

"Sorry, I have to get to my next class." He said as he walks past her so he won't be late. Fluttershy stood there, being very curious.

"Wiz defended me, no one has ever helped me in this school." She thought in surprise, but Rainbow Dash reminded her that lunch is over. She grabbed her backpack on and started to walk to her next class.

Luckily for Wiz, He and Fluttershy are in the same class - gym class. Fluttershy sees him and decides to thank him for what he did at Lunch, but she still feels shy around everyone, especially the unbreakable Sunset. She doesn't even want to think about coming near her at the risk of getting picked on again. Wiz was about to do some push ups, but it wasn’t until Sunset Shimmer suddenly walked up to him.

"Hey, you!" She barked, looking at him.

"What?" Wiz jumped.

"Do you really think you have a chance against me?" She said.

"What are you talking about?" He said.

"I'm talking about when you defend Fluttershy at lunch, Mr. Modest!" She said as she grabs his shirt. "You think she is going to repay you after lunch? Well, think again. You're never going to fit in like the rest of us! You and Fluttershy are nothing but shameful students who can't even stand up against anyone. Do yourself a favor, and leave this school, otherwise your ass is grass. And hers..."

She than pointed at Fluttershy, who's hiding behind the other students. Wiz decided to give her a piece of his mind.

"You know, you don't have to bully people in order to become popular! I only defended her because she ran past me crying and I think I could help her. I'm new to this school, and I deserve more respect - especially her!" Fluttershy actually heard everything what Wiz said, feeling impressed. Sunset wasn't moved, so she decided to push Wiz down to the floor.

"Oooohh, honey! You finally gained some balls. Well, you're just not even close to it just yet..." She poured a bottle of Water onto Wiz's head, making him humiliated in class.

"I made Fluttershy's school year a living hell, and I'm gonna do the same to you. So, don't you dare try to toy with me Get it?." She barked and walked away with Wiz, still on the ground and damp. Suddenly, Fluttershy walked up to him and picked him up from the ground. He blushed that she held his hand, and was at a loss for words to speak. This was the first time Wiz has ever gotten close to touching a girl's soft hand, and didn't even expect Fluttershy to do that.

"Umm... I wanted to thank you for what you did for me at lunch." She tried to continue her words, but just like him, she was at a loss.

"You... are very... something I....." Fluttershy stuttered, but the bell rung again, meaning that class is over. Fluttershy let him go, being relieved that she didn't get embarrassed, but still feels sad that she didn't finish her words. Wiz stood there completely speechless and blushing. He really thought she was a neutral girl in this school but in reality, she just wants someone respectful.

"Hey, kid? You're gonna be late if you don't move." One of the gym teachers telling Wiz he's going to be late. Surprised, Wiz rushed out to get to his next class.

After the final class of the day, Wiz approached to his locker and put his things away so he can get ready to get on his bus. But, when was about to get to the front school entrance, he saw Sunset Shimmer messing with Fluttershy again. Only this time, she threatened her to rip them apart charity papers she made.

Fluttershy is on her knees bagging her to give them back to her. "Please! Don't ruin those you have no idea how long it took me to make those!"

She starts to cry hard making Sunset looking amused. She takes a look on the charity papers and feels disgusted. "Ugh! Animal charity? You decide to not hang out with anyone but instead helping animals? Your more shameful then I thought."

But Fluttershy gets on her feet and tries to get her papers from Sunset but she gets pushed to the ground. Wiz can't stand watching her suffer anymore and decides to go to the principal's office.

"I swear she's completely out of her mind!" He said being furious while he goes to the office. Meanwhile Sunset is ripping apart some of the papers as Fluttershy is on her knees crying in fear of what she is watching. Sunset continues to laugh as she still rips apart her papers but soon Principal Luna sees whats going on.

"Sunset Shimmer!" Luna said as she stares at Sunset in a serious look. Sunset was shock that she's in real trouble since before the times she mess with Fluttershy she always gets away with it. Wiz is hiding away from her so he won't let her know it was him who called the principal on her. "Why are you ripping apart Fluttershy's charity papers? If you have something against animals than you should've never take out your personal opinions out on someone." She grabs the papers from her and hands them back to Fluttershy. Fluttershy then walks back to her looker to put her things away while Luna demands Sunset to go to the office. Wiz is still hiding in the hallways then eventually he sees Sunset going to Celestia's office. He's in relief that she didn't get spotted from her but when he turned around, he sees Fluttershy standing behind him. He stands back but Fluttershy hugs him tightly. She knew it was him who helped her and feels happy that her papers are safe. Wiz is blushing at the fact that a cute innocent girl is hugging him with her hair in his face. He starts to smell her beautiful pink and long hair making his eyes close in delight.

But soon he breaks her hug because the buses are going to leave soon. "I'm very sorry but I have to go." He then rushes to get to his flight before it leaves. Fluttershy stands there being very happy at him for what he did for her.

"I have to talk to him tomorrow." She said.

The next day

Wiz got off of his bus and passed by the school statue, where Fluttershy was hiding by. Suddenly, he was pulled in while running towards the trees in order to hide from Sunset Shimmer.

"Wow wow wow!" Wiz said while Fluttershy took him to the shades. "Hey ummm.... I know you wanted to thank me, but it was nothing. I just couldn't stand people getting suffered from Sunset."

Fluttershy then placed her hand on his cheek, making Wiz blush again "Well, It's that you're really nice, and that was the first time in my high school years someone helped me when Sunset is bullying me."

“Oh…” Wiz replied while Fluttershy took her hand off his cheek. "My name is Wiz, by the way. This is my first year in high school and.... I don't really fit in like you."

"Yeah I know how that feels." She said. "I always try to stand up for once but every time I do that it gets worse. I'm always alone not having any friends to help my problems. Rainbow Dash, Applejack, and Pinkie Pie are on their own while I'm alone feeling empty every time I come to school." She also takes out her backpack and unzip it to free her animals. Wiz was surprise that she has animals in her backpack to the point where he starts to walk away but Fluttershy wants him to stay. "No no don't go away. Here, hold one of my animals." She hands him a baby rabbit and the baby looks up at Wiz. Wiz starts to nuzz on the baby feeling very calm at the moment. "How is it Wiz?" She said as she looks at him.

"It feels kind and I like it." He said. "By the way, what were those papers you had yesterday?"

"They're charity for animal care." She said. "I wanted people to help but I never got the chance to talk to them because not only their busy, but I'm also too afraid to do it."

"Maybe it's because you hear Sunset's opinions on animals." He said. "You should never listen to her to bring yourself down. I'm sure people outside of this school can help you. Maybe I can help you."

"Really?" She said with her eyes wide open. "You going to help me on charity?"

"Yes." He answered, which made her shocked. "If it makes you happy, then I'm not afraid to do that. Your very special when your shy." This makes Fluttershy blush and excited that someone is helping her.

"Oh.. thank you Wiz." She said as she hugs him. "I just hope you’ll be there for me, always."

For the next 3 months, Wiz helped Fluttershy take care of her animals, getting everyone to participate in charity, and even help her to face her fears in school. He teached her to call the principal if anything bad Sunset Shimmer is doing to the students. Fluttershy’s relationship with Wiz improved during the Halloween and Thanksgiving season. Wiz kept helping her with her charity and her life, and soon enough, Fluttershy’s life was feeling better, and more people helped her on the animal shelter in the process.

Thanks to Wiz, she starts to become more confident in school. As for Sunset Shimmer, she started to leave her alone since she has learned her lessons about bullying people, but later she started to become more sneaky than last time. Meanwhile, Wiz and Fluttershy were becoming best friends during those three months. They also liked hang out by going to the park, and in the pool where Wiz helped Fluttershy on how to swim, and he also helped planting some of her flowers in a nearby garden. Their lives together may not fit in school, but outside of school, they love being alone together.

It was during the Christmas season, and Wiz and Fluttershy are at his house with his family. With a day away from Christmas, they wrapped up some presents for their family members along with Wiz's family to help.

"I think it's nice that you're helping Fluttershy's life." Wiz's mom said.

"Yeah," Wiz's dad agreed. "I never thought you can also be very helpful to shy girls like her."

Wiz laughed. "I felt very lonely as well, so I was curious about who she was earlier this School year."

Fluttershy's started laughing at Wiz's words before hugging him tightly. Wiz wanted her to let go of him, but she refused. Oddly enough, his family are adoring that.

"Fluttershy… um... can you please let go of me? I need to finish my wrapping." Wiz pleaded with restraint in his voice. But, Fluttershy kept hugging him more.

"Oh, come on, Wiz. Just a little longer..." She said. Eventually she let him go in order for him to continue his wrapping. "I'm really lucky to have you as my friend."

“Me too.” Wiz said back happily. After they finish wrapping their gifts, Fluttershy and Wiz's family started their Christmas Eve Party with more members of Wiz's family coming in.

One of Wiz's cousins sees Fluttershy talking to Wiz's other family members. She taught them about taking care of animals and they decide to talk to Wiz about her.

"Excuse me Wiz." One of them asked in curiosity. "Is she that girl you've been hanging out all the time?"

"Yes, and I've been helping her too." Wiz said to his cousins. "She didn't ever pay me back after everything I did for her, but that didn't matter. I understood that she never hung out with her old friends in a while, so I'm not really concern about that."

Then, one of the cousins said. "I'm sure she's has something for you. Maybe she's saving it tomorrow at Christmas for you."

Wiz started to feel curious about her, but he explained his cousins about their relationship. "Kids, I don't think she really has something hiding from me." He said. "She may be nice, but she really doesn't have anything to give me since I never told her about my hobbies. All I've ever wanted from her is to feel better since her life was sad before I came to Canterlot High."

The cousins had no idea about Wiz's opinions. "Maybe I just thought too much about her life." He thought as he goes to Fluttershy.

"Maybe he should be a doctor on helping girl's lives." One of the cousins whispered as they go somewhere else in the Christmas party. Meanwhile Wiz walks up to Fluttershy and talks to her.

"Fluttershy?" He spoke to her. "I just want to know… Do you have a Christmas gift for me?”

"Yes, I do,” She said. But, it's in my room at my house."

"Why did you left it there instead of taking it to this party?" He questioned, which made Fluttershy giggle at his response.

"It's because I want you to sleep with me at my place, like a Christmas sleepover." She answered, which made him blush and freaked out at the same time.

"Oh no!" He said. "I can't just leave my family at Christmas. They want me to stay here tomorrow morning for Christmas."

"Oh, don't worry," She said, placing her hand on his shoulder. "I got everything under control." After everyone leaves the house, Wiz's parents thanked Fluttershy for teaching kids about animals.

"It's very sweet of you to come and visit us at Christmas Eve." Wiz's Mom said. "Your really good at taking care of animals Fluttershy. Maybe you should start a animal business since your getting more money on your charity. You should keep it up."

Fluttershy is happy at Wiz's Family's advice for her future. "Thanks for also being very kind. Also, is it okay if Wiz can come sleep at my place tonight?"

Wiz's parents, however, denied her request. "I'm afraid not. He has to stay here for Christmas tomorrow morning."

"Oh well that's a shame." she said. "There's one more thing I want to show you before I leave." She grabbed her backpack and unzipped it. In there, she has a snake that can do Hypnosis. Eventually, the parents saw something suspicious, and intended her to leave immediately.

"Fluttershy, we don't want to see your-" Mom got cut off when Fluttershy pointed the snake eyes on Wiz's Parents. They get hypnotize and stand in place before they grabbed Fluttershy. Then Fluttershy uses them to her commands.

"Now, Wiz's Parents." She demanded confidently, holding the snake in her hands. "I want you to repeat after me: You can have our son Wiz to come sleep over at your place until School resumes next year. And, we will never remember this." She finished as the hypnosis made Wiz's parents say of what Fluttershy told them to.

"You can have our son Wiz to come sleep over at your place until School resumes next year. And, we will never remember this." They repeated. But Fluttershy wasn't done yet.

"And, we will go upstairs and go to bed." she added.

"Fluttershy..." He said. "I don't know what to say."

Then Fluttershy comes towards him and takes his hand. "Don't question it. Come to my place so we can hang out on Christmas morning."

They both get their jackets and snow boots on and they went outside to go to Fluttershy's house. Wiz felt a bit nervous but stood calm that his parents will forget about this whole thing. Fluttershy, being the happiest as she was in the longest time, still held on to Wiz's hand, and was really happy to take Wiz to stay at her house until school resumes.

"So, I'm curious?" Wiz said. "Does your parents know about this?

"No. They went to my uncle's home to celebrate their Christmas there. I didn't want to come so I get to stay here until they come back after school resumes because there could be snow storms that could close the highway next week. I saw the forecast and they don't lie." Fluttershy explained.

"So we're actually going to have a sleepover alone?" He said.

"Yeah, because we're always alone all the time, right?" She said as she turns her head around.

"I guess you're right." He said, smiling awkwardly. They both continued their walk and they eventually headed for Fluttershy's home. It was a very sweet and confinable place to live in. Fluttershy promised to herself that she has to return the snake she used earlier but she decides to show Wiz her home first.

"What do you think of my home?" She showed Wiz.

"It looks beautiful." Wiz said while he looks at everything in Fluttershy's living room.

"Come with me. There's something I want to show you." She said as she lead him down the hall with a door painted in yellow. Once she opened the door, they stepped inside the room surrounded by birds, fishes, and, of course, animals. Wiz was actually bedazzled that Fluttershy has this many animals.

"Wow." He said in amazement.

"This is my meadow of lovely animals." Fluttershy introduced. "Every time I come home from school, I always come to this room and play with my animals. My family always have lots of pets, so we decided to have a room for their animals to live in."

"I'm actually surprised that so many animals in here really like you. Do you ever take a break from this?" He said.

"Sometimes." She answered. "When me and my family go on a trip, we hire someone to take care of all these animals. Sometimes, we get more people so one person doesn't have to do all the work."

"You know, Fluttershy," Wiz said. "I never thought your love of animals will be something like this, and that's something I like about you. You’re so kind and respectful to make the animals live to a better and beautiful place, and I'm really happy that I got the chance to help your charity work."

Fluttershy clapped her hands together after hearing Wiz's heartwarming words. She decided that the wait was over, and the timing couldn’t be any more perfect.

"Wiz..." She said.

"Yes, Fluttershy?" Wiz replied, but it wasn't until Fluttershy, who still has her hypnosis snake, hypnotized Wiz, making him fall asleep.

"(Giggles)" Fluttershy laughed as she puts her snake back to it's cage. She then looked at Wiz sleeping on the floor. "I'm going to pay you back more than you think... Sleepy Wizzy."
