Worried

Twilight Sparkle was in her castle sitting at a table while a downpour of rain went on outside, she decided to not go anywhere during that time because she didn't want to get soaked by going out there. While she stayed inside she read a book on mathematics.

She hoped that a tree wouldn't break her window like how one did that last time when she was having a sleepover with Applejack and Rarity, she prayed nothing bad would happen. She hoped that her friends were safe in their homes for that night. While she read she heard noises coming from outside of her castle.

She knew that nopony that crazy enough would be outside as it was raining pretty bad but the noise continued and it drove Twilight crazy, she really didn't want to investigate as the rain would enter her house. She tried to ignore it by going into another area of her place.

But before she did that, she decided to check to see what it was anyway, she might as well put her worries as to what was outside at ease so that she wouldn't worry all night about it, she quickly ran to her door and he stated in opening it but she thought about it once more and then opened it.

Rarity ran inside her place and shivered, Twilight looked at her with bewilderment, Twilight gave her a towel which Rarity grabbed and used it to dry herself.

"What were you doing out there?" Twilight asked her, Rarity looked around with shock as she had just ran for cover from a storm, she walked past Twilight. She looked outside and looked around.

"I was shopping, my place was to far away so I decided to take shelter in the closest place which is your castle, if you don't want me to stay I'll leave immediately even though I don't want to leave." Rarity said.

"I'll let you stay here, that storm seems to powerful for somepony to be out there so you can take shelter here. It's the least I can do for one of my friends, I know that my place is a bit boring to you considering that I don't have anything you like here but at least your safe from the storm.

"Thanks Twilight, I don't mind if you don't have anything of my interest here because as long as your here then I can I have fun, so what do you want to do anyway?" Rarity asked her, Twilight shrugged at her.

"We can gossip and read magazines, we can fix eachothers hair, its up to you!" Twilight stated, Rarity nodded as she looked around the castle.

"Hey Twilight?" Rarity asked, Twilight stopped doing what she was doing and walked back to Rarity to ask her what she needed.

"Yeah? What's wrong?" Twilight asked as she wanted to know from Rarity what the issue was.

"Where's Spike?" Rarity asked, Twilight was dumbfounded for a few seconds when Rarity asked that, she really didn't have an answer for that as she realized that Spike wasn't home, this started to worry her. Her eyes widened.

"I...thought he was with you....is he here?" Rarity asked in confusion. Twilight started to panic.

"I was pretty sure he was with you!" Twilight told her, Rarity shook her head, Twilight fan up stairs to check for Spike but he wasn't there, she quickly ran down and passed Rarity in a hurry.

"Twilight is Spike missing?" Rarity asked with worry etched on her face, Twilight nodded franticly as she looked all around her castle while continuing to call his name. She started to hyperventilate.

"He left a few hours before the storm! I have no idea where he is now, he could be lost in the rain by now! I won't have any idea unless I see him!" Twilight said.

"Maybe he saw clouds rolling in and he decided to stay in some shelter over their instead of coming home, It's unlike of him to do that but that's the most obvious possibility right now." Rarity said. Twilight started to cry.

"Twilight don't worry, he's probably safe, he's smart enough to to know what to do during a storm so I wouldn't put it past him to go to a shelter during a storm instead of risk getting hurt by trying to run back here." Rarity said.

"Do you think he's safe!?" Twilight exclaimed, Rarity nodded and Twilight tried to calm herself down though she was still worried about him.

"I think he is, he's not dumb enough to stay out there, that would be unlike him, he knows what to do in some emergencies so please calm down okay?" Rarity asked, Twilight calmed down a bit more and hugged Rarity. Twilight tried to keep her mind off by gossiping with Rarity and giving eachother hooficures.

Twilight was still worried but not as upset as she was before, an hour later the rain stopped and after another hour Spike came home, Twilight and Rarity saw him, Rarity sighed in relief while Twilight lost it.

"Where the hell have you been!?" Twilight yelled, Spike jumped back in shock as he looked around and spoke as innocently as he could.

"I was taking shelter at Carousal Boutique....why are you so freaked out?" Spike asked.

"I've been worried sick about you! I thought you were dead Spike! That storm was dangerous I could have lost you tonight that was why I was freaked out!" Twilight screamed. Spike was stunned at Twilight's anger.

"Dead?" Spike asked her.

"Yes! I thought you were dead! You scared the shit out of me Spike! Don't ever do that again! From now when a storm starts to form on your going to send a letter to me that tells me where you are so that I know at your safe!" Twilight yelled.

"Okay!" Spike exclaimed. Twilight walked up to her room and slammed her door shut, Spike was still trying to figure out what had happened just then, Spike walked past Rarity as he went up to his room, Rarity felt relieved that Spike was okay as she was pretty worried about him as well but she felt as if Twilight took it a bit to far in yelling at him about it, she decided to drop it as she went back home as she was glad that the storm was over. Twilight later came out of her room and apologized to Spike for yelling at him while he apologized to Twilight for worrying her and then they both forgave eachother. Spike never worried Twilight and Rarity like that ever again.
