Twilight woke up the next day with the biggest grin. She had just spent the night with her best friend, and now mare-friend and felt fantastic. She rolled over onto her back and stretched out, covering the pink bed with her body before retracting her limbs. Twilight brought her hoof up and wiped the sleep out of her eyes.

She lazily left the comfort and warmth of Pinkie’s bed and strolled across the floor towards the window; the muscles in her flank and groin contracting randomly, making her remember the magic that they made.

Twilight picked up a doll, its soft mane waving about in the magical aura. From the distance she was holding it, there was a faint smell of flour. But as she brought it closer, that smell changed into candy, reminding Twilight of Pinkie, “Mm,” Twilight mumbled to herself.

Twilight placed the doll back where she found it and twirled around, rushing to the door. She opened it and practically jumped down the stairs, entering the shop area.

It was still quite early, but it’s usually always busy in Sugarcube Corner, especially when Pinkie Pie is working.

“Twilight!” Twi’s new mare-friend shouted, before hugging her from behind, “I’ve missed you.”

Twilight giggled, moving her hoof up, “It’s only been seven or so hours.”

“So?” Pinkie replied, moving into Twilight view, “That’s seven hours of not seeing you. Oh wait, I saw you in my dream, scratch that.” Pinkie carried on, impossibly fast.

“Aw,” Twilight said, tilting her head, “What are you up to today?” she asked, stroking Pinkie’s leg, “I was wondering if you would want to hang out round mine, we could go for a meal?”

Pinkie inhaled slowly, then exhaled. “I would love to. Is nine o’clock alright for you?” she replied, slowly, as if saying it any other way would ruin the moment. It made Twilight’s heart soar to new heights; she was going on a date with Pinkie Pie, or at least she thought it was a date.

Twilight stood there, mentally debating whether it was a date or not, before Pinkie nudged her gently, “Are you okay?” Pinkie asked, concern showing on her face.

“Yeah, I’m fine,” Twilight said, smiling. She leaned forwards and kissed Pinkie, breathing hard and pushed into her.

Pinkie pushed back, opening her mouth a little, letting Twilight taste her. She pulled away then moved a strand of mane out of Twilight’s face, almost losing herself in her eyes, “You better go, don’t want to under plan for our date ” Pinkie whispered into Twilight’s ear. She knew full well of Twilight love of planning, and unlike her other friends, wouldn’t hold her back from it; It was simply who she was.

Twilight squeed and rushed out of the bakery, then ran back in and kissed Pinkie on the cheek, making sure to breath in her scent to remember her.

Pinkie grinned and strolled into the kitchen. She had a full day of baking ahead, and she was going to enjoy it with thoughts of a magical unicorn, and the promise of a fun filled date to keep her company.

Twilight ran through the streets of Ponyville ignoring everything. She was totally focused on getting back home and preparing for her date. She had to visit restaurants, book tables, double book tables and make sure the tables had backups, in case anything happened to the original ones.

She also had to plan what she and Pinkie Pie would do before and after the date; to which she slowed down and found her cheeks growing warmer.

Twilight giggled, imagining what the two of them would do to each other, snuggled up next to the fire, under a blanket.

Her daydream was stopped by somepony shouting her name. Twilight looked about and found that Rose, an earth pony that works the local flower stall was waving at her from the other side of the street.

“Twilight, over here!” Rose shouted, waving her leg.

Twilight walked over, slightly annoyed that her train of thought was broken, but hid it well. “Hi Rose, what can I do for you?” she asked, looking over the many different kinds of flowers.

“I saw you slowly waking down the road with that look on your face, you’ve found your special somepony, haven’t you!” Rose almost shouted, before Twilight blushed and placed a hoof over Rose’s mouth, silencing her.

“Sorry,” She removed it, “I don’t want any pony to know until I know it’s serious... You know how ponies here are like.” Twilight whispered.

Rose nodded, “Don’t worry, I won’t tell a soul.” She reached behind her stall and pulled out a bunch of flowers, “This is why I called you over, here.” Rose handed Twilight the flowers, letting them go once they were inside her magic. “Don’t worry, they are on the house. I’m happy to simply know you have found somepony at last.”

“Wow, I... Thank you.” Twilight stuttered, looking for the right words to say.

“Now go, I’m sure you have more imagining to do...” Rose said, waving Twilight away.

Twilight made it back to her tree house shortly after with her flowers. She opened the door and walked inside, closing it behind her. Twilight sighed and levitated the flowers over to the table, placing them down, ”I’ll find some water for them in a bit, she thought.

Pulling a quill, with pin point accuracy out of her room, Twilight started writing down what she would need to do to prepare for her date.

Find a restaurant that both Pinkie and I would like.
Find a backup restaurant that Pinkie and I would like.
Pick up Pinkie at 9pm.
Have fun...

“Stupid Twilight, I should be there at eight forty five, not nine...” She mumbled to herself as Spike walked into the room.

“Hey Twi, how was the cooking class?” He asked, walking past Twilight and into the kitchen.

Twilight looked up and blushed, “It was better than expected.”

“Cool, did you make anything yummy?” Spike asked, walking back into the front room holding a bottle of cuke.

“You could say that, “Twilight replied, “A bit of this and a bit of that, I think I like cooking now.”

“You could cook around here some more then...” Spike said, grinning.

Twilight hummed as she returned to her list, the red blush growing slightly as she thought about Pinkie.

Spike walked over and peered over Twi’s shoulder. She quickly rolled the paper up and away from the dragon’s eyes. “Excuse me mister, what are you doing?” Twilight asked, raising her eyebrow at her assistant.

“You normally get me to write stuff down... Are you replacing me!?” Spike asked, looking worried,

Twilight rolled her eyes and pulled spike towards herself, “Of course not, I could never replace you.” She kissed him on the top of his head. She held him as he tried to wriggle out of her grip, “Some stuff a mare has to keep secret, you wouldn’t want me to read your diary, would you?”

“It’s a journal, and you’re not supposed to know about that!” Spike whined, finally given up on his struggle.

Twilight let him go and giggled at his adorable pout, “Don’t worry Spike, I won’t tell any pony.”

Spike rushed up to the bedroom and closed the door. Twilight sighed and unrolled the paper. She nodded to herself and decided to get started on her date.
