This was no normal cloud, it was almost chaotic in colour, almost as if a rainbow had been spilt on it. On it was the many homes of Dragconequus’, creatures of Chaos. A young female Dragconequus took her first steps from her house. Her coat was a dark red, as was her one pony leg. She also had a golden lion paw, brownish leg of a goat and a green, scaled dragon leg. Her mixed features didn’t stop there. She had one unicorn like horn upon her head with one changling like horn. She had a purple mane, that travelled the length of her back and formed a tuff at the end of her tail. She had one pony wing and a dragon wing too. She was quite young, and had yet to enjoy the moon rise for herself. Her older brother stood not too far away. He had the head of a pony, a deer antler on the right, a blue goat horn on the left, one long fang, different-sized pupils, a snake tongue, a goat beard, and white bushy eyebrows. He has the right arm of a lion, the left claw of an eagle, the right leg of a lizard, and the left leg of a goat. In addition, he has a bat's right wing, a Pegasus' left wing, a horse's mane, and a dragon-like snake's tail with a white tail tuft. The shape of his body resembles that of a snake. He smiled at her, the young Dragconequus giggled and ran towards him. “Come one Anita.” He said “Coming!” she giggled and chased him. They passed many others of their kind, each different in their own way. This was their home, safe from anyone else. “Another game of jumping in muddy puddles?” Her big brother asked “Yes please!” Anita nodded. “Ready, set…” Suddenly a beam of light surrounded them, the cloud vanished beneath the young creature and she fell. “ANITA!” her big brother dived after her, but both found themselves in cages. “Brother!” Anita cried, reaching out for her brother. “It will be okay.” He looked at her, but he didn’t look too sure, but his magic wouldn’t work in the cage… The female Dragconequus lay in room with no window, the only window brought no light, and that was in the door. She had no idea how long she had been in there. But, the horned pony had not come back for some time, nor had her brother. She spotted a bug crawling across the floor. She watched it, it had all she had been able to eat. She pounced and ate it, she had no idea when another would appear. She sighed and looked up at the dark room behind her door. She was unable to grow, she needed the moonlight to do that. Which that horned had figured out. “Big Brother…” she whispered and curled up in the corner of her prison with a yawn. She was just falling asleep when she heard a crumbling sound. A piece of brick landed on her head, Anita jumped up and shook her head. She looked up, a few bricks were moving. She stepped back as the bricks fell, creating a whole, Day light streamed in, Anita blinked several times, her discordant eyes getting used to the sudden light. “Oh, hello down there.” A voice said “Hello, can you help me out?” Anita called out. “Um, sure. Hang on.” A white, spirit like pony appeared. “What are you?” Anita asked “A wendigo.” The Pony smiled “I’m Winter.” “Anita.” She nodded. The Wendigo helped her out of the room. Anita stumbled, she looked around, this was the outside world. “We need to get away from here, it isn’t safe.” Anita turned to the Wendigo. “It isn’t? Okay.” Winter nodded. They began to gallop into the nearby forest. Princess Celestia was out for a sunrise fly, she watched the forest spread out below her. She closed her eyes with a stratified smile, what a beautiful morning. “Anita! HELP!” A voice cried out, Celestia stopped. She searched for the voice, and saw a young Wendigo and a collapsed filly. She gasped and flew down. “Please! Somepony!” The Wendigo cried. “What happened?” Celestia asked as she landed, the Wendigo stepped back. “My friend, I helped her out of a locked room, we had to run because it was dangerous…and, I don’t know to help her. She just collapsed!” The Wendigo turned to her friend. Celestia looked at the filly, her eyes widened at the filly’s mismatched features. There was only one creature like her in the whole of Equestria. “Come with me.” Celestia smiled, with her magic. She picked up the mismatched filly and began to fly back towards her castle, the wendigo followed closely. “Sister, you are back early.” Luna smiled as she saw Celestia. She gasped at the filly she carried. “Is that...” “Luna, please get Discord.” Celestia asked, Luna nodded and rushed off. Celestia first gave the young filly a bath, the Wendigo kept a close eye on her friend. She then took the filly and Wendigo to the throne room, where they were given food. Anita woke at the smell of food, she sniffed the plate weakly, she took a slow bit of a piece of apple. The wendigo leant a hoof, Anita smiled at her friend gratefully. “Hello, Princ…” Discord had appeared out of nowhere, his eyes fell upon Anita, she looked up at him, her eyes widened. “Big Brother!” She cried, getting to her feet and stumbled towards him. Discord crouched low to look at her. “Dissonanita…” He asked, Anita giggled and hugged him, she ended up falling against him, her breath weak. “Brother…” she whispered happily. “Dis…” Celestia said, stepping towards him, but his demeanour changed in an instant, his tail curled around her, he picked her up growling. Before vanishing with Anita and the Wendigo. “What was that about?” Luna asked “I have no idea…” Celestia frowned Discord took them straight to Fluttershy’s but she wasn’t in. So, appeared in the map room of the castle, where the main six were. “Discord!” Twilight growled, she hated when he appeared out of nowhere. Discord ignored her and went straight to Fluttershy. He held out Anita. “Please, help her!” He begged. Anita, was looking at Fluttershy in fear. “What is that?” Rainbow Dash asked “My sister, please. She needs your help!” Discord pleaded. Fluttershy looked down at Anita, she was as surprised as everypony else. So, there were more than one Dragconaquus. //-------------------------------------------------------// The ponies in the crystal castle //-------------------------------------------------------// The ponies in the crystal castle Anita woke up on a bed, Winter at her side. “You okay?” Winter asked, Anita nodded. She looked around. She was in a crystal like room, one like she had never seen before, it was so light too. The sun streamed in through a window. Anita’s ear’s twitched slightly. “Where are we?” Anita asked, looking back at her Wendigo friend. “Princess Twilight’s castle. What do you remember?” Winter looked at her. “My brother.” Anita smiled, she climbed out of the bed, and sniffed the air. She followed her brothers scent. Winter followed her, the young friends peeked into the map room. Where the main six were sitting, trying to figure something out. Anita saw her brother sitting on a floating chair, his tail swayed close to the ground. Anita smiled and prowled towards it. Winter held in her giggles as Anita pounced on to his tail, clinging on it. Discord raised his tail. Anita was still holding one, she giggled. The main six looked at her. “Anita! I am glad you’re okay.” Discord hugged her, Anita smiled and nuzzled into him. She nodded she sat on his lap and looked over at Fluttershy. “Thank you, yellow Wing pony.” She smiled “I am glad you are okay too. I have never met another Dragconequus before.” Fluttershy smiled, Anita frowned and looked at Discord. “Brother, where’s momma and poppa?” She asked “I don’t know. I don’t have the magic to find them.” Discord replied, Anita sighed. She looked at the other ponies. “They are not like that other mean horn pony.” Anita stated “The mean horn pony?” Twilight repeated. “The pony that took us from our home.” Anita said. “He captured me, and brother, and split us up. He forced out our magic, it really hurt.” She shivered. “You know him as StarSwirl the Bearded.” Discord growled softly, watching Anita closely as if the very name would cause her to vanish. “But, if that was true, why are you still a filly?” Twilight asked, insulted that they could say such a thing about her hero. “I have to have moonlight!” Anita said “Female Dragconequus grow by the light of the moon. Once he had figured that out, he locked her away from any light.” Discord explained. “We should camp out tonight.” He told Anita. “Can we?” She smiled excitedly. He nodded, she giggled. Jumping off his lap, She and Winter began to play happily. “I should introduce my friends. Anita and Winter stopped playing and looked as Discord pointed at them in turn. “Fluttershy, Rainbow dash, Rarity, Pinkie Pie, Applejack and Twilight Sparkle.” “Nice to meet you all.” Anita smiled, she looked up at Discord. “I like these ponies.” Fluttershy looked very happy at that. “You’ll have to join me and my critter friends for a tea party.” Fluttershy said “Tea party?” Anita questioned. Fluttershy looked at her. “You’ve never had a tea party before?” Fluttershy gasped, Anita shook her head. She watched the Pegasus with a small smile. “Let’s have one now.” Fluttershy smiled, she quickly flew from the room. “She is pretty fast when she wants to be.” Rainbow stated. Anita looked up at Discord. “Come on then.” Discord smiled at her, both he and Anita vanished. “StarSwirl took them from their home…” Twilight muttered, she was looking at the place they had been. She was trying to wonder if they had made a mistake, maybe it was another unicorn who looked like StarSwirl. “Twilight, if he had been researching their powers, he should have recorded them, right? Wouldn’t they be in Starswirl’s section of the canterlot library?” Pinkie asked, she jumped off her chair and smiled. “I am going to make some special cupcakes for their tea party!” She bounced off. Twilight sighed. She didn’t want to believe her hero would do such a thing. “I better go a search the library. I will see you all later.” Twilight left the room, and flew off towards Canterlot castle. Rarity, Applejack and Rainbow were the only ones left in the room. Another Unicorn walked in. She looked around. “Where is everypony?” She asked “Got stuff to do Starlight. Twilight’s gone to check out the canterlot library. Pinkie and Fluttershy are having a tea party with Discord and his little sister.” Rarity told her. “discord has a little sister?” Starlight looked surprised. “Apparently so, and they have clearly been apart for a very long time. We should really do something to make Anita feel more comfortable here.” Applejack seemed thoughtful. “I got something!” Rainbow grinned and flew off, leaving a rainbow in her place for a second. “I am going to make her a little gown. I have the perfect design in mind too!” Rarity smiled and happily trotted off. “What about you Applejack?” Starlight asked “No idea. Maybe I could introduce my little sis and her friends to Anita. Then she can have some young friends too.” Applejack said. “That would be nice, I am interested in meeting her now. Do you know where they are having the tea party?” Starlight looked at her. “Nope, want to come and get the Cutie mark crusaders with me and we can go and look together?” Applejack offered. “Sure.” Starlight smiled. They both went off to find the young fillies. Twilight was looking through many scrolls and books, The Royal sisters, along with Cadence and baby Flurry heart. “Twilight?” Celestia asked, looking at her old student. “What are you looking for?” “Discord’s sister, they were taken from their home by a unicorn. They say it was StarSwirl, they said they forced out their power. If he was researching their power, he must have written it down. I need to see if it is true.” Twilight told them, not looking from the scrolls. The princess’ look at each other. “Then, we’ll help. We must see if their claims are true…if they are…so much is explained.” Celestia nodded. The three other princess’ joined Twilight in the search, whilst Flurry heart made towers with the books they had looked through. //-------------------------------------------------------// The Tea party on the cloud //-------------------------------------------------------// The Tea party on the cloud Applejack, Starlight, along with the Cutie mark crusaders, meet with Rarity before they headed off to Fluttershy's cottage, where she usually had her tea parties. But, once they got there, they could hear them, but not see them. "Fluttershy dear?" Rarity called. "We're up here!" Pinkie pie called in a singsong voice. They all looked up to see a pink cloud, Pinkie was looking down, Anita peeked down too. She saw the crusaders and looked at them confused. "You're having the tea party up there?" Rainbow asked "Yes, Discord, if you would..." They heard Fluttershy, steps appeared and they climbed up. Anita suddenly ran and hid behind her brother as the crusaders got up on the cloud. "Who they?" Anita whispered. "We're the cutie mark Crusaders!" Applebloom announced happily. "I'm Applebloom, this is Sweetie belle and Scootaloo." "Hi!" Scootaloo and Sweetie belle smiled. Anita looked at them worried. "I thought you may like some friends, and as you look like a young filly, i thought my sister and her friends might be best to ask." Applejack said. Anita looked at Applejack, before looking back at the crusaders. She walked around her brother and slowly approached them, she sniffed then carefully, before frowning. "You don't seem bad...I guess we can be friends." Anita told them. She took a specially made cupcake and took a bite, she smiled and her tail began to sway side to side. "Oh, I made you a little something. To welcome you to Ponyville." Rarity said, she brought out a little mane clip. It was of a candyfloss cloud with three drops of Chocolate rain. "I thought of the first time we met discord." She said "Chocolate rain!" Pinkie beamed. "The best part of chaos." she said. Anita let Rarity put it in her hair. She smiled. "Thank you miss Rarity!" Anita smiled happily. "Look big Brother!" Anita showed Discord. He ruffled her mane. "Suits you." He told her. Anita giggled and nuzzled against him. "Twilight, I think I may have found something." Cadence called. The princess went over to her. Cadence was holding a book that had been locked shut. "Any pony know how to open this?" She asked. The princess tried several spells to unlock it, none of them worked. Twilight looked at the lock. "Where could the key be?" She muttered. "We could call the lock smith?" Luna suggested. So, the Lock smith was called. He had to make a replica of the key before they were able to open it. Once they did, the first thing that greeted them were two diagrams. One of Discord and one of little Anita. Twilight's heart fell, she looked down. "So, Starswirl really did take them from their home." She said., she continued to flick through it, it covered the magic he was able to witness Discord and Anita preforming. "It explains why Discord may have taken over Equestria all those moons ago. If he did it to subject the ponies to what he and Anita were subjected too." Celestia stopped and sighed. "We must go and give our apologisy to the both of them. We can not change the past, but we can learn from them." The Princess's all nodded in agreement. Twilight kept hold of the book as they headed towards Ponyville. Anita was playing tag with the CMC when the Princesses approached the tea party. Winter was sitting on the side lines happily. As soon as Discord saw Celestia and Luna, he took Anita, and wrapped his tail around her, glaring at them as he planned on protecting his sister this time. Anita crouched lowed, knowing a possible danger was nearby. The ponies were surprised by his reaction as the Princesses landed. It was Twilight who stepped forward. "We found this...It proves what you said is true. I am so sorry for what he did." Twilight told him, Discord took the book and opened it. Anita looked up, she cuddled herself against discord. Inside was everything Starswirl knew about his magic, and the little he knew of Anita's. "Anita?" He asked, she looked at him. "What do you think we should do with this?" He asked "Its more about you, he never got a lot out of me. That was his own fault, so, maybe it would be safe to destroy it. So ponies can use us again." Anita said. Discord nodded, the book was suddenly destroyed before their eyes. But, Discord still kept Anita close, he was unsure about how Luna and Celestia were going to treat Anita. However, Anita had other ideas. She saw Luna and her eyes widened. She climbed over Discord's tail and approached the princess of the night. "The moon." She said, her eyes glistening. "I am Princess Luna of the Night. I raise and lower the moon each night." Luna told her. "The moon!" Anita repeated, she hugged Luna's leg. "I found the moon Big brother!" She giggled. Luna and Celestia looked over at Discord for an explanation. "Female Dragconequus' grow by the moonlight." He said, Luna looked down at the young Dragconaquus. "Then, tonight, you may watch me raise the moon." Luna smiled, Anita looked over at Discord. He gave in, and nodded. "Yay!" Anita laughed, and bounced around, she flapped her wings slighting, but was unable to fly yet. Flurry heart giggled and flew after the young Dragconequus. Anita looked at her with wide eyes, and flurry heart and Anita began to chase each other. The Princesses laughed as did the ponies and Discord. He was happy that his sister was finally going to have the childhood she deserved. He looked up at the sky. Now he and Anita had found each other, there was a chance they could both find their home, their parents', their kind.
