In the early 1960's, Equestria and the United States of America are longtime allies and Princess Celestia develops a deep friendship with U.S. President John F. Kennedy and his younger brother, U.S. Senator Robert F. Kennedy. But, on November 22, 1963, Princess Celestia's world turns upside down when she learns that John is assassinated in Dallas and then, on June 4, 1968, Robert is assassinated in Los Angeles.

Now, for the first time, as she prepares for Twilight Sparkle's coronation, Princess Celestia reveals her story about a friendship...a friendship with two great Americans.
