"Uhm Twilight you got a minute?"

Rainbow dash asked as she landed on the balcony next to her.

"Sure, is it about the next Daring Doo book?"

Twilight asked as she put a bookmark in and closed the book she was reading.

"Well that and another thing, uhm i was just wondering, i have not seen Fluttershy in about a week and was wondering if you heard anything from her?"

Rainbow asked.

"Well no, i cant say that i have, but Applejack said she was there yesterday with some apples, apparently Fluttershy looked like a mess, with big bags under her eyes and ruffled mane, she looked like she hasnt slept for a few days, when Applejack asked about it she said she had come down with some disease after caring for some animals."

Twilight said as they walked inside the library.

"Oh thats bad, you dont think it`s serious do you?"

Rainbow said with a slight frown.

"No i don`t think so, sounds like she got some kind of flu, hmm maybe we should go over and check up on her, maybe cheer her up a bit?"

Twilight said putting a hoof to her chin.

"Well as long as we keep our distance."

Rainbow said furrowing her eyebrows.

"Spike i am going out for a moment, could you take the books inside from the balcony!?"

Twilight shouted as they headed towards the door.

"Huh? oh yeah sure thing Twilight."

Spike said as he walked out from the kitchen and quickly wiping his mouth free of cookie crumbs, hoping Twilight didn`t see it.

"Okay Spike i am gonna ignore those crumbs just this time."

Twilight said narrowing her eyes at the little dragon.

"We are going to see Fluttershy, take in the books, clean the floor and ready dinner until i get back."

Twilight said as she and Rainbow walked out of the library.

"So you think it`s contagious?"

Rainbow asked as they both waved a hoof towards Ditzy, who was doing her deliveries.

"Well i don`t know yet, but we better be carefull to not get coughed on."

Twilight answered as Ditzy flew over to them, skidding to a halt as she landed and tumbled over on her back.

"Hello."

Ditzy said still on her back looking up at them.

"Hi Ditzy, have you been over to Fluttershy yet?"

Twilight asked holding out a hoof to help her up.

"Oh yes but she wasnt feeling well and havent taken in her mail, so the letterbox was full so i couldnt deliver, ooh maybe you two can give her this letter, she didnt open when i knocked on the door."

She said shoving her head inside the mailbag, pulling out a letter adressed to Fluttershy and hoofing it over, before giving a salute and flying off into a streetlight, stopping for a sec, shaking her head a bit before heading off again.

"That mare should really get her eyes checked."

Rainbow said as they watched her fly away.

"Hmm i`m getting a bit worried now, we better hurry over to see if she needs any help."

Twilight said handing over the letter to Rainbow and begun walking towards Fluttershys house again.

"Yeah she must be in bad shape, if she doesn`t open the door for Ditzy."

Rainbow said as they saw Fluttershys cottage.

"so uhm you think we can enter without any danger of catching whatever she has?"

Rainbow asked as they stopped infront of the cottage.

"Well put this on just to be sure."

Twilight said handing over a handkerchief to Rainbow to put over her muzzle.

"Since we dont know if it is contagious, or if it airborne its best to be sure."

Twilight said putting her own handkerchief against her muzzle, looking over at Rainbow, getting a nod from her as she went up and knocked on the door.

"Fluttershy it`s Twilight and Rainbow Dash!!"

Rainbow shouted as they knocked on the door, hearing a squeak from the other side, before the door opened a little, a bloodshot eye looking at them through the crack in the door.

"Oh uhm hello."

Fluttershy croaked as she opened the door a little more.

"Wow Fluttershy you look terrible."

Rainbow said as she pushed open the door, seeing Fluttershy with huge bags under her bloodshot eyes, big chunks of hair seems to have fallen off, and she was swaying back and forth where she stood.

"Oh hi girls, am i late to something?"

She said trying to focus her eyes on them.

"F-Fluttershy are you okay?"

Twilight said making Fluttershy turn her unfocused eyes towards her.

"Yes, why what have you heard?"

She said as she tried to shake her head clear.

"Wow Fluttershy you`re burning up."

Rainbow said as she put a hoof to her forehead.

"Oh wow you`re right."

Twilight said as she walked up next to her and put a hoof to Fluttershys forehead.

"Rainbow can you go upstairs and get me some blankets?"

Twilight said as she lead Fluttershy towards the bathroom.

"Okay i`ll be right back."

Rainbow said as she flew upstairs.

"Come Fluttershy, let`s get you cleaned up a bit."

Twilight said as she steered her towards the sink, taking a towel and drenching it in cold water and put it on Fluttershys forehead.

"Ooh feels good."

Fluttershy said with a smile closing her eyes from the nice feeling before her legs gave away, landing on her stomach with a *thud*.

"Oh no, Fluttershy are you hurt?"

Twilight said as she tried to help her up, only getting a giggle from her as she raised a hoof and put it on Twilights face.

"Fluttershy just lay back here and put this towel on your forehead, i go see if Rainbow, oh nevermind."

Twilight said as she saw Fluttershy fall asleep on the floor, sighing as she stroked Fluttershys mane.

"okay i found some."

Rainbow said as she flew into the bathroom, holding a pile of blankets in her hooves.

"She`s getting worse, i think i have to teleport us both to the hospital."

Twilight said as they walked over to where Fluttershy laid on the floor.

"Wow she really look terrible, uhm you dont think shes well deathly ill?"

Rainbow said as she leaned closer to Fluttershy to get a better look.

"Uh she is breathing right?"

Rainbow asked as she put her ear on Fluttershys chest.

"For now, i need you to clear the way infront of the hospital, i don`t think we can lift her, so i give you 20 seconds before i teleport, okay?"

Twilight said getting a nod from Rainbow.

"Sure thing Twi, i make sure it`s free."

She said as she flew out of the door again.

"Okay Fluttershy i am gonna teleport us both to the hospital in 7, 6, 5, 4, 3, 2, 1."

Twilight counted before she teleported both her and Fluttershy outside the hospital.

"There she is doc, now hurry!!"

Rainbow shouted as the doctor and two nurses ran towards them with a stretcher, quickly lifting up Fluttershy and running inside.

"I-i think i go with her, you should go get the girls while the doctor checks on Fluttershy!"

Twilight said as she ran after Fluttershy.

"Y-yeah i go get them."

Rainbow said as she flew off.

-----------------------7 hours later------------------------

"Miss Twilight and friends?"

The doctor said as he finally stepped out of the room Fluttershy was in.

"How is she?"

"Can we see her?"

"Is she okay?"

The 5 friends said as they gathered around the doctor.

"Please ladies calm down, miss Fluttershy is stable and she has no contagious disease, but she has serious infections, so she will be moved to another more sterile room as soon as possible."

The doctor said getting scared looks from the girls.

"I hope you can answer some questions."

The doctor said, getting nods from the girls.

"Of course, what do you want to know?"

Twilight said as the doctor showed them into his office.

"Well, first of all, do you know how long she has been like this?"

The doctor asked as he sat down by his desk.

"Well, i guess about a week, since she said she was to tired for our weekly spa trip."

Rarity said holding a box of handkerchiefs in her hooves.

"Mhm, has she ever been this sick before? since we don`t have any medical records of her, here in Ponyville."

The doctor asked as he wrote on a notepad.

"W-well no, she has been frail and well weak, but never really sick."

Rainbow said fighting back her tears.

"Okay next questio-."

The doctor begun before the door flew open and a nurse shouted.

"Her heart stopped!!"

"Dammit not again, stay here!"

The doctor shouted as he ran out of the office, leaving the mares to stare after him.

An hour later.

The doctor returned wiping his sweaty forehead with a hoof.

"Okay she is stable again."

He said with a sigh, smiling as he saw the mares relax a bit.

"We will be keeping her under observation, why don`t you come by tomorrow instead, so you can get some rest."

He said as he sat down by his desk, taking out a brown bottle with a heavy sigh.

"maybe he`s right, we should go home and rest."

Twilight said as they exited the office, getting tired nods from the others as they hugged each other.
