Six years is a long time. So many events can take place. So many people die. So many battles can occur. A man can only take so much. In the midst of war, man finds his limits. It appears mine is six years. Six years in the bloodiest war Marlheim has ever seen. I've decided that it is time I return home. I want nothing more to leave this dreaded place behind, and no one could convince me otherwise.

So today under the cover of night, I shall make my 'Great Escape', and leave this place. Half of them are dead already. It won't be long before there is no one left to stop the crows from picking the corpses apart. And I'm not willing to be bird food. Even for the King.

A knight, suffering from his experiences in war, flees his post to escape. However, after losing himself in a forest, he wakes up in Equestria and embarks journey that will go down in the history books.
