Misadventures Of A Blank Ponyby Sukalicorn ParadiseChaptersChapter 1: ArrivalChapter 2: Identity ComplexityChapter 3: Meeting Hippie HorsesPrologueChapter 1: ArrivalI feel a soft breeze caressing me. Also hearing, uh... ''chirpy'' noises. I am trying to lift my heavy eyelids, to see where I am, now. My sight is blurry, at first. I clumsily get up on my hooves, feeling my head spinning. It takes a few blinks to see correctly. My sight settles back. I am in a colorful background, now. No more plain white. Above me, it's clear blue with white patches. Down on the floor, it's green. Green stuff that tickles me. And there are brown things around the place with green stuff on top of them. I remember the word... Trees? My memories is settling back little by little, but the place where I am is no hint of my past. A tiny feathered creature flies close to my head to land on one of a tree's branches. Seeing where I can go now, I stand up on my hooves and use them to walk. I have only one objective: Regain memory and knowledge, then find something to eat and somewhere to rest. It takes me nearly an hour to walk nonstop, and then finally discover on the horizon, a sort of... VILLAGE! That's the word! Ugh, what's with me forgetting every name of objects I've known, before?! And I am so amnesiac that I don't even remember what I am! Oh well, at least I've found a place to rest now. I run toward it. But it's still too far, so I eventually quickly run out of breath and walk instead. Took long minutes to get there. But as I get there, I spot a similar of me sitting on a desk. I decide to approach him. ''E-Excuse me, can you help me?'' I ask him ''Yeah yeah, sure. What is it?'' He responds in a bored tone, his eyes still locked on a book. ''Where am I?'' ''You arrived in Ponyville's custom office. But before you can enter in, I must have a brief description of yourself. We don't just let anypony enter without knowing their intentions.'' ''A... description? I scratch my head with my hoof. I... don't know. I don't even know what I am!'' He turns to me, his bored expression turning to a surprised one. He narrows his eyes, like he was judging me. ''Wow. He says. You sure need to see a doctor.'' ''A what?'' ''You have a serious problem, I see. You know what? I'll just let you enter the city. Here's the map to help you find the psychiatric hospital, or even the normal hospital since your problem seems to be related to your... um... physics. Frankly, you remind me of those characters from 8-bit video games I used to play. But without colors. Have you played too many of them, recently? I'm not even going to ask about your mane, anyway.'' My mind is blown by all these things he said. He gives to me a piece of paper. The marks in it illustrates the locations of that ''Ponyville''. ''You are the only exception. If I see another pony like you, I'll deny him unless he's your cousin or something. Have a nice trip!'' He says before his pupils roll back to his book. ''...T...Thank you?'' Wait, does that mean I am a.... pony? The door opens. I enter it. And what my eyes are looking at leaves me speechless. So many ponies! They are so different from what I look like! They have manes of different styles, colors of all kind. Colors less flashy and eye-hurting than this pony I met when I was still in that empty place. Some of them have a horn on their heads, others have wings and fly around. And their lines are... smoother. I feel a lump of discomfort in my throat. I feel... different. Different from these ponies. My doubts seems to be confirming as I walk to the village. The ponies all look at me, frowning. I even see one having her muzzle close to the other one's ear, but still both looking at me. Are they saying mean things about me? All eyes are on me. So many eyes... Oh this is so awkward! My heart beats even faster. It pumps so much that I feel like it will explode. The loud noise of my beating heart is interrupted when an unexpected high-pitched voice breaks through my ears. ''HI!'' I collapse on my back, startled. I open my eyes and see a pink pony with a puffy mane looking down at me, with a wide smile and eyes sparkling of happiness. She starts to make her mouth go so quickly that I don't have time to understand a word. ''GASPANEWPONYI'VENEVERSEENYOUHEREBEFOREIT'SSOOOOOOOAMAZINGOHRIGHTMYNAMEISPINKIEPIEIGIVEYOUMYMOSTCHEERYANDHEARTWARMINGWELCOMETOPONYVILLEHEHEHEHEHA!'' ''....What?'' ''Hehe, sorry! I am always like that when new ponies arrive! Does it ever happened to you to be so excited? Oh, silly me! Of course! It happens to everypony, right?'' Being excited? Is this what this weird pony is being like right now? Because I don't want to be like that. I'm not even sure what I want to be! She helps me getting back on my hooves. She then grabs my hoof and shakes it very fiercely. ''Like I was saying, welcome to Ponyville! I have many questions for you! Pink-Pony-Thing continues. What's your name? Why you don't have a mane? Where is your tail? Why is there no shadow below you?'' Too. Many. Questions. I don't even know the answers! I think it's the good time for me to try to explain. ''Honestly... I don't know. I only remember waking up in a completely white, empty place... Another pony... and an arrow thing that I escaped from... and I found myself here, in that world. I don't remember alot of things. I'm very lost, can you help me?'' The pink pony is speechless. She then takes a huge breathe and spill this long sentence: ''Poor you! this seems so horrible, being in a place where no cheery colors have settled in! That's the worst. Possible. Thing! Huhehe! I just stole Rarity's line! You should meet her, she's really nice! But is often stressed, these times. I would intoduce you to my friends, but they are nearly all busy now! I can at least introduce you to Rainbow Dash! She's totally awesome and 20% cooler! Oops, I stole one of my friend's lines again! Silly me! And sure I can help you! Oh, by the way, you probably didn't have time to hear it out, but my name is Pinkie Pie! What's yours?'' ''....'' ''Oh, you don't know? Well I'll make up some names for you! How about... Hmm... Blank! Hehe, that's a funny name! What do you think?'' ''Blank?'' Blank. That's a nice name. I can't think of a better one. All these friend pony names that Pinkie Pie mentioned are... not for me. ''I guess I can go with Blank.'' ''You're adorable! You remind me of another of my friends, Fluttershy! Except that she's quieter and hardly comes to Ponyville as she is busy caring for her animals and supporting the Equestrian Society for the Preservation of very hyper rare creatures! It must be very fun protecting rare animals, dancing around a camp fire and sing songs! You hungry?'' ''...Yes.'' ''Good! Just because you seem nice and fun to talk to, I'll offer you a free cupcake! Come with me, Sugarcube Corner is not that far!'' The pink pony hops over the place. I follow her. She leads me to a tasty looking building, with the roof that seems to be made of pastries and icing. I am drooling squarish drops of sticky water. How do I know these words so quickly? Didn't expect my memories to settle so quickly. Pinkie Pie opens the door and hops inside. I join her when I hear another voice. ''Why, hello Pinkie!'' ''Hi, Mrs. Cake!'' Pinkie Pie cheerfully responds. I walk inside and see a blue pony with a swirly pinkish mane that points upward. She stands on a desk with tasty looking pastries inside. ''Where is Mr. Cake?'' Pinkie asks her. ''He's out buying more icing. Oh, who is this pony next to you?" "Her name is Blank! She just arrived in Ponyville! Anyway, what kind of icing you still have?'' ''I have grape, lemon and huckleberry flavored ones left. Are you interested in any of them?" "I'll take a strawberry cupcake with the huckleberry icing on it! What will you take, Blank?'' I don't remember what these ''icings flavors'' taste like. So I'll pick randomly. ''I think I'll take grapes. No! Lemons! Yeah, definitely lemons.'' Mrs. Cake seems to be surprised a moment before getting on the order. After receiving our orders, me and Pinkie Pie sit on a table. "Feast yourselves, my little ponies! I have to go breastfeed my twins, now.'' Mrs. Cake says before going upstairs. I take a bite of my cupcake. I grimace after tasting the sour lemon icing. ''Sour, isn't it? She giggles. No wonder few ponies choosed that icing! So, let me get this straight: you woke up on an empty, white place, with another pony, and a weird white arrow thing that tried to get you?'' ''Basically, yes.'' ''That's crazy! This is probably where you came from! Curious, I thought the story about storks worked with ALL ponies. You seem to be an exception! You look so different from other ponies! I LOVE it! Difference is the most beautiful thing on Equestria! Don't let anypony tell you otherwise.'' She presses my pixelated cheeks with her pink, smooth hooves. Awkward silence takes place as my eyes meet with hers that are narrowing. ''...Okay.'' I utter. ''Good! Since you are lost and obviously don't have a home, I hope you don't mind joining the Cake family! I remember them adopting me when I was a filly and that I ran from home! Mr. Cake found me unconscious on the ground in a rainy day and took me in, in the warm! That's how I met the Cakes! So, what do you think about joining us?'' I take time to reply. But she is right, I don't have a home. Maybe temporarily settling with Pinkie Pie and her family wouldn't harm. ''Sure, why not. Thank you, Pinkie Pie. You help me.'' "AWESOME! I'm sure you'll fit in just great besides the fact that you are bald, have no shadows following you or even a cutie mark!'' She squeezes me the biggest hug I've ever had. She squeezes me so much that I can barely breathe. But it feels so warm and energetic at the same time. For now, I finally have a home. Chapter 2: Identity ComplexityIt's been almost a... week? I think so. Well, it's been a week since I've been living in the Sugarcube Corner with Pinkie Pie. I like it. Treats and pastries are good, but that's not the only thing I eat obviously. There are ''daisy sandwiches'' and salad of green stuff, that are good too. Pinkie Pie teaches me to bake goodies, I'm pretty good at it. As good as when I start a fire. Which is not good at all. Pinkie Pie cheers me up, saying that there is a young filly even worse at baking than I am, which is nice to hear I guess. As I look through Ponyville, tiny spots of flashbacks are floating back in my head. I am starting to remember how to pay for things using ''bits'' and especially... how to act like a pony. Because sincerly, I fail at it. But there are things that are bothering me, besides this seemingly perfect paradise. When I walk through Ponyville, ponies keep looking at me with such judgemental glares. Pinkie Pie keeps telling me to ignore them as they don't know me. Does not help that much since I don't know myself that much either. I'm a pale gray pony with pixelated lines, no mane, no ''cutie mark'' and no shadow following me. I don't feel like a normal pony, even though Pinkie tells me that nopony is ''normal''. Everytime I take the effort to socialise with ponies, their glare keep making me feel uncomfortable and then it becomes awkward. Basically, I also fail at socialising. So me being very anxious, I stay more often in the Sugarcube Corner, in Pinkie's room, hidden under her bed. By the way, this is the place where I sleep. Pinkie Pie suggested on getting me a comfy mattress, but I declined the offer as I like it under her bed. For some reason, the dark seems safe to me. I like the quiet. Much better than Pinkie's blabbering and the loud baby twins that live here. But I manage to live with it somehow. As I am scared to go to Ponyville alone, Pinkie Pie accompanies me. She hops through the crowd, while I walk nervously, focussing on the other ponies staring at me. ''Stop looking at them! Pinkie breaks through my ears. They're only trying to ruin your fun! Don't let them! Just hop with me! And we can even sing a song! Listen!'' She inhales deeply before starting to sing a song that is all over the place. Oh, what an awful experience. But I don't bother to tell Pinkie to stop singing, because I don't want to ruin her fun. Suddenly, we hear a yell in the horizon. ''WATCH OUT!'' An orange filly on a rolling thingy is coming very fast in our direction! And it's the collision! I collapse on my back. Ow! My back hurts! Other voices are then heard. ''SCOOTALOO! Are you alright?'' Two little fillies run to the fallen one next to me. I get up with difficulty. Pinkie Pie grabs yet again my cheeks, panicked. ''Are you alright? That must have been painful! Do you still have all your teeth? Did you get a blow on your head? If so, then can you predict the future, now?!'' ''I-I-I'm alright, Pinkie! Please let go of me!'' A white filly unicorn helps the orange one that I got hit by back on her hooves, with the yellow one watching. ''You just hit somepony! You should apologize to her!'' Says the helping filly. ''Yeah, yeah! That's what I'm gonna do!'' Says the orange one after shaking her dizzy head. She walks to me, looking at the floor. ''I'm sorry ma'am for bumping into you, it won't happen even aga--'' She did not finish her sentence when she looks up to me, shocked. ''Woah! What are you?'' She exclaims. Pinkie Pie giggles. ''Silly Scoots, it's not ''what'' are you, it's ''who'' are you! By the way, this is Blank! She came in Ponyville living in the Sugarcube Corner with me a lil' while ago!'' She explains. ''Oh really?'' Asks the white one. ''Why don't she have her own house?'' Asks the yellow one. ''She don't have enough bits for that! So she'll stay with me for a while until she earns enough!'' ''That's kind of awesome!'' Exclaims Scootaloo. The yellow comes to greet me, with a large smile on her face. ''Howdy! I'm Applebloom! And this is mah friends Scootaloo and Sweetie Belle! And we are... in position, girls!'' She turns to the two other fillies and raise her hoof that is piled up by the other's ''THE CUTIE MARK CRUSADERS!'' They all cheer as they lift their hooves up the sky. ''Wait, interrupts Sweetie Belle. Since we got our cutie marks, we don't have to seek for one anymore, right?'' ''Yeah, but now we help other ponies get their own!'' Claims Scootaloo. ''She's kinda right, Scoots. Says Applebloom. Maybe we should change our name for something like... Cutie Mark Helpers?'' ''Hmm, no. I kind of already like our actual group name!'' Says Scootaloo. ''Okay! Agrees Sweetie Belle. We're still Cutie Mark Crusaders, then! And today, we help a pony that has no cutie mark! Blank!'' My eyes widen and surprise. Sweetie Belle grabs my flank to show to the other fillies, in my embarrassement. ''See girls? She got no cutie mark! We should do something about it!'' ''Um, Sweetie. That's not only her cutie mark that's missing. Says Scootaloo. Look at her, she--'' ''I know! I abruptely interrupt her, fed up with my apparence remarks. I have no mane, no colors and I have ruggy lines! I know I nearly look like nothing! I know all about it! I don't need to be reminded of it! So shut up, you gobbling chicken!'' I grind my teeth and anger. My expression then change to an embarrassed one. Scootaloo freezes, her belly brushing against the ground. ''C...Chicken?.'' Utters Scootaloo sadely. I sit, rubbing my arm in regret. ''I... I'm sorry. I didn't mean to be angry. Pinkie, I wanna go home.'' The pink mare looks at me with concern. ''Woah, that escalated quickly! Okay, follow me Blank. Bye-bye, Cutie Mark Crusaders!'' She waves at the the three fillies, who are speechless of what happened, before she leaves. Pinkie Pie does not hop this time. She just walk. This is the first time since I met her that I see her like this. ''Well, she rolls my eyes toward me. It looks like you finally spilled the rotten cupcakes that was inside you. But probably to the wrong pony, anyway.'' ''I didn't mean to offend her.'' I say sadely. ''I know you didn't. You were so fed up about the complexity of your look. Do you like the way you look like?'' ''I do. But I wish ponies would stop talking about it.'' ''Oh! Oh! I have an idea! We could go to Rarity's boutique! Maybe she can help! Follow me.'' NOW she hops. I follow her through the village despite more ponies looking at me. We approach a large fancy-looking building and enter it. I hop in surprise when I hear a tinkling noise, when the door opens. My eyes then turn to the place inside. What a wide place! The floor is so flat and smooth! ''Rarity! We're here!'' Yelled Pinkie Pie in her high-pitched cheerful voice. She hops through the place. As I walk through the place, I come across a seemingly lifeless pony, with a bar through it's belly. And this pony looks like... me?! I got very scared at this moment. ''Aaand, this is Blank! She's my new friend living with me at the Sugarcube Corner!'' The mention of my name caught my attention toward Pinkie Pie, who points her hoof at me, and a white mare with a capped purple mane and such pretty blue eyes, who looks at me with curiosity and surprise. The white mare walks to me, clearly smiling to try to hide her shock to my apparence. I look at the horn stuck to her head. I've seen other ponies with these long things on their foreheads, but never that close. ''Why, hello dear... Blank. She greets me with her gentle voice. I am Rarity. Welcome to the Carousel Boutique! What can I, um... do for you?'' ''Uh...'' Pinkie stands next to me and dispose her hoof on my shoulder. ''Blanky-Blank has an issue with her apparence. She's getting very tired of the other ponies looking at her, or overhearing them.'' She just called me ''Blanky-Blank''? ''...I see. I will try what I can do. Follow me, darling.'' So I did. She leads me to a smooth wall. When she turns it to me, I get startled. I see another pony through it, that looks like me... Is that me?! I make different head movements. It does the same! So it's definitely me! ''Excuse me for a moment, darling.'' Said Rarity. I get very distracted with this thing... is that called a mirror? But my distraction breaks when I overhear Rarity whispering to Pinkie Pie behind my back. I overhear three words. ''Cancer'', ''Shadow'' and ''Mane''. Rarity walks back to me along Pinkie Pie. ''I'll take care of you, dear Blank. Poor thing, no fabulous mane on your bald head? I'll take care of this, sweetheart.'' I hear dazzling noise. I am surprised to see Rarity's horn glowing. I never have seen that before! A small table with pony heads with manes floats next to me. I am scared at the sight of these pony heads. Pinkie Pie giggles. ''They're not real ponies, Blanky-Blank! Don't be afraid! They're just mannequins!'' Reasurring to hear, I guess. ''I have all these unique wigs for you to try on.'' States Rarity while making one of these ''wigs'' float. I then realise that Pinkie Pie and Rarity are trying to help me improve my apparence. Do I really want this? When I think about this, maybe the ponies will stop looking at me with a judgemental glare, if I change my apparence. So I approved their help. Rarity made me try so many manes. The first was... too swirly. The second... Too flat. The third... too colorful... at least for me. The last one seems to be of my taste. It's blue with paler wicks. Pinkie snorts of amusement. ''You like one of my friends, Rainbow Dash! Except that your mane isn't rainbow colors.'' ''Splendid!'' Rarity claps her hooves in excitement. ''Even though I liked the swirled one... Now, we need to try some of MY creations on you.'' I go to a low platform, with three more mirrors. Rarity pushes a double-bar to my direction, with some clothing hanged on it. ''Let's get started, darling.'' Rarity says confidently, with a smirk on her face. This lasts SO MANY hours! She made me try so many dresses of different colors and patterns! Eventually, I finally decided on a dress that I thought fits me. ''This... This is perfect! I like it!'' I say confidently. Finally, no more ponies will judge me for what I look like! No more bald pony! I turn to the two mares who smiles in satisfaction. I then turn back to the mirror in the middle. Suddenly, I have a negative feeling... I feel that something's wrong. When Iook at the mirror, I see a different pony. Too different. I no longer regonize myself. I am no longer myself. I look down in embarrassement. ''I... I changed my mind. I declared in a sad tone. I... I prefer the way I looked like before. Now, I don't feel like myself anymore. I look pretty, but... It's not for me. I'm sorry to have wasted your time, girls.'' Pinkie and Rarity let out a gasp of surprise. ''But... but you said you wanted to change, so that ponies won't make fun of you anymore!'' Exclaims Pinkie. Rarity steps forward and turns to Pinkie. ''Oh, Pinkie. I may have spent hours trying to change the style of this particular mare, but she's pretty much right. I learned somewhere that we have to accept who we are, the way we are.'' The white unicorn approaches me. ''What matters is not here, (She points her hoof to my head) but here.'' She then point it to my chest. ''If you feel like you are comfortable with what you're already like, stay the way you are. She continues. It does not matter what ponies think of you. Do not change for anypony. You are perfect the way you are.'' I feel a smile of reassurance stretching through my face. She is right. What ponies think of me does not matter. I am... Just me. Pinkie jumps at me and squeezes me a big, tight hug. She rubs her cheeks to mine, to my discomfort. ''Oh, Blanky-Blank! I would have missed that baldy-bald head of yours, and that naked body of yours! We are ponies afterall! We are made to be naked!'' Rarity frowns at these words. ''Right. Thank you, Pinkie.'' She grumbles. After Pinkie let go of her deadly hug, I turn to Rarity. ''Thank you for trying to help.'' She smiles. ''No problem at all, my dear.'' I and Pinkie wave goodbye to Rarity and leave the boutique. Pinkie Pie hops cheerfully... so do I, surprisingly. I never felt so happy with myself. As I hop through the village with her, I overhear a pony whispering to another one. ''Look at these two weirdos. They sure need some therapy and health checkup.'' But I don't care. Not anymore. What matters, is me. (In Rarity's boutique) The elegant white unicorn walks through her boutique. She approaches one of her mannequins. ''It is such a shame. She sighs in deception. Blank would have made such a fantastic new mannequin. She has such a perfect shape. But I couldn't try my dresses on a pixelated body. Maybe next time.'' She smirks, with unhealthy intentions. Then the screen goes black. Why? Because suspense! Chapter 3: Meeting Hippie HorsesPinkie Pie and I are walking through Ponyville. We are in the market section. We stand in line for a ''fruity icicle'' stand. Pinkie Pie turns to me, with a confident glare. ''I'm giving you a challenge, Blank.'' She told me. ''A... what?'' ''A challenge! It's like the daring game that Applejack and Rarity have been playing quite often during a sleepover! Oh right! Silly me! You don't know what I mean!'' She's right. I am completely confused by what she just spilled here. ''So, basically, I CHALLENGE you... To take the order yourself!'' ''M-me?'' ''Yes, you! I don't want anything! I want you to order the flavor of the fruity icicle yourself!'' ''B-but... I can't...'' ''YES YOU CAN, BLANKY!'' Again, she presses her hooves to my face, pressing her nose to mine, our eyeballs nearly touching eachother. ''YOU CAN DO EVERYTHING, EVEN RIDE A MONKEY UP IN SPACE, STEAL A HAT FROM AN ANGRY SANDWICH EATER, GO TO PARALLEL UNIVERSES AND especially... FULFILL YOUR DREAMS! DO YOU HAVE ANY DREAMS?!'' ''Uh, I--'' ''I SAY! DO YOU HAVE ANY DREAMS?!'' ''...No.'' ''VERY GOOD! NOW BE A MARE AND ORDER YOUR OWN CRAP NOW!!'' Pinkie Pie's yelling managed to bring attention to all the ponies around and bring awkward silence. She lets go of me and turns back forward the queue. I am shaken. I have no words for what just happened. So after a few minutes of waiting, it is our turn. Um, I mean, my turn. Glups. So, I step forward the seller. As expected, he looks at me with huge surprise. I feel uncomfortable at this moment. I feel a poke on my flank and turn to Pinkie, who nods her head, pressuring me to take the order. I turn back to the seller and starts to make my mouth go shakenly. ''Uh... I... Uh... I-I-I... I'd like a....'' I feel my throat strangleling me, with Pinkie motioning me with her hoof to go on. She whispers in my ears: ''Say the first thing that goes through your mind.'' The first thing? That sounds like a good idea. So, I thought quickly and yelled: ''PONY!'' Again, an awkward silence takes place. The seller stares at me with his wide eyes. I blush in embarassement. ''G-Give me what you have in mind...'' And this is what I get: Vanilla fruity icicle. No doubt why he chosed that flavour. It's nearly white. Like me. Pinkie Pie pats me on the back. ''Great job! She said happily. That effort sure deserved that tasty-looking fruity icicle!'' ''...Yeah, I guess I could say I tried.'' Never in my life I've felt so embarrassed. As we walk by, I notice a poster pinned on a pole of wood. In that poster, it shows a picture of a pale blue pony with a periwinkle-colored mane. And according to what's written above, her name is ''Shoeshine''. Above the picture, it says ''missing''. Though I've never met that pony, I wonder what happened to her. ''Look, Blank! There's Fluttershy!'' Exclaims Pinkie Pie. I look in front of me and see a pale yellow winged pony with a long pink mane. Pinkie Pie goes greet her. ''Hey, there's something different about you! Notices the pink earth pony. That's it! Your mane!'' She points at a braided wick of that pegasi's mane. Fluttershy giggles. ''Yes, Pinkie.'' She responds with a low, gentle voice. Her eyes widens when her sight stops at me. Pinkie looks at me and giggles. She dispose her hoof on my back. ''This is Blank! She arrived to Ponyville a week ago and lives at Sugar Cube Corner with me! Say hello, Blanky!'' I smile uncomfortably and waved at the guest. Fluttershy smiles at me, but still looks concerned about my apparence. ''So whatcha up to, Flutters?'' Asks Pinkie to her. ''I was going to the market, get some food for the campsite we are going to.'' ''Oh! You're going camping? It's so awesome! She cheerfully exclaims, hopping. Who are going to be there?'' ''Tree Hugger and some members of the society of preservation of rare animals. She replies. There will be entertaining activities out there, like collecting different species of butterflies and free them, meditating, plant young trees, observe some animals in the wild and do some research on species.'' Pinkie shakes in excitement, to my discomfort. She then hops again. ''Can we come with you? Asks the pink pony enthusiastically. I could throw up a party and put some good music! I even have the radio with me!'' She holds a sort of metal box and presses the button that plays rap music. She swing her head to the rymth. I and Fluttershy both stare at her, speechless. Pinkie finally presses the button to stop the music after a minute. ''Can we? Pleeeease Fluttershy?'' She squees. ''Oh, um, sure. If you want.'' Replies softly the yellow mare. ''AWESOME!'' Again, she hops happily. ''I'll go pack all my stuff!'' She adds. She gets away so quickly that she produced to dust. I look at Fluttershy, perplexed. ''She intense, isn't she?'' She says compassionately. ''Yeah...'' ''Don't worry, the environment will be calm, there. She assures me. I will ask Pinkie to put relaxing music, instead.'' ''Okay. Thank you.'' Frankly, I think I prefer Fluttershy more, though I still like Pinkie as a friend. Me, Pinkie and Fluttershy are walking at the edge of the woods at the end of the day. Pinkie carries a huge load of bagages on a wheel thing: balloons, a canon, a radio and other stuff I can't describe. As I walk with the two mares, I see something between two trees, in the woods. A black pony with flashy red stripes. And red eyes. It is staring at me, frowning. ''Um, Fluttershy? I turned to her. Look!'' She looks at me and then look at the direction my hoof points at. ''What? I don't see anything.'' She says. I look back at the trees and the pony is gone. ''But...'' ''It must have been a little creature you've seen. There's alot of them in the woods. We'll see more of them.'' But it was a freaking pony! Before any word could get out of my opened mouth, I think to myself: ''Maybe it was just my imagination.'' After a long while, when the night sky revealed it's face, we finally arrived at the campsite. There's alot of ponies, there. Some were sitting, their eyes closed, their hooves in the air. Others were talking, play guitar. As I walk further the camp, I jumped at a crashing sound. Pinkie's wheel thing as fallen to the side and all the bagages crashed to the ground. ''It's okay, I'll pick all that up!'' She says. ''Fluttershy, it's radical to see you.'' That voice comes from a green pony with reddish mane who approaches Fluttershy. She gives her a hug. ''Hello, Tree Hugger. As you can see, I brought my friends here. I hope you won't mind.'' ''Fluttershyyyyy, of course I don't mind. All are welcome to join our circle of harmony.'' That strangely calm mare walks to me. She just stare at me. Then she presses, just like Pinkie, her hooves against my cheeks. She then gasps, surprised. I am confused. ''I sense... an unusual energy.'' She confirms. Fluttershy and Pinkie Pie were concerned. ''It's like technologic waves....'' She adds. A moment of awkward silence takes place. ''Who wants cupcakes?'' Pinkie Pie suggests unexpectedly, holding a batch of pastries. ''I would love to eat one!'' Approves a pony in the background, followed by other ponies. ''There you go, fellows. But remember, only one per pony!'' The ponies remain silent, disapointed. ''Haha! Just kidding! Pinkie laughs. Eat as many cupcakes as you'd like! Now eat these motherlovers!'' She throws an hundred of cupcakes in the air, crashing to the ground to be leaped at by the ponies. ...What just happened. ''Um, Pinkie? Says Fluttershy. Have you made these cupcakes yourself?'' ''Well DUH! Of course I did! Why?'' ''Because I want to make sure you checked the ingredients, so that there's no palm-oil or any chemical products. You made the icing youself, didn't you?'' Pinkie's eyes widened. She then grins innocently. ''...No. I bought the icing.'' Fluttershy sighs. ''It's fine Pinkie, exceptions never hurt. Just don't tell Salicornia about it.'' ''Hey guys! Look at what Salicornia drew for me!'' Exclaims a blue unicorn colt running to them, holding a sheet of paper with his magic. The sheet shows a drawing of him drawn in a rather loony way. Pinkie stares at it and let out a ''Oooo'' of amazement. ''You should go all request her to do one for you! The colt adds. She's an amazing artist who does awesome caricatures!'' ''Where is she?'' Asks the pink mare. ''She over there!'' The colt points at a cinnamon-colored unicorn mare with a curly, puffy dark brown mane, sit behind a desk and a lamp. There's a poster on that desk used as an advertissement to her free caricatures. I and Pinkie approach her. On the side of the table, there's a pile of blank sheets of paper. ''Hi Sukie!'' Pinkie greets the mare. This one looks at her, smiling, and greets her back. ''Oh hey, Pinki-- What the...'' And yet another very expected reaction when she notices me. Oh look, a very weird-looking pony with no mane or shadows. Oooo, what a huge surprise. Very original reaction. Hmm, my sense of irony is apparently settling back. Nice. ''Oh! Let me introdu--'' I interrupt Pinkie, tired of her talking about me instead of I, and I MYSELF. ''My name is Blank, and I have no idea where I come from.'' I introduce myself. ''I live in Ponyville with Pinkie Pie at Sugar Cube Corner temporarily until I earn enough to get my own home. Yes, I know I look different. That's the way I am, so accept it.'' Salicornia just stare at me, speechless. She then raises her two hooves, and she's like ''Woah''. ''Okay, mate. My apologies. We just don't see ponies of you kind very often. Hope you forgive me if I draw you something? Here...'' She uses her magic to grab a sheet of paper from the pile and a pencil to draw. It takes only less than five minutes to finish up her drawing. ''Finished! Hope you like it!'' She hooves over the sheet toward me. I look at it. The drawing represents me, in a cute way, with hearts. There's a written message saying ''You are beautiful in any form.'' ''...Thank you.'' I says to the mare, smiling at her. She smiles back. I am touched she made this wonder for me. Suddenly, I hear loud music. I notice that Pinkie is no longer with me. I look behind and see her dancing around the fire with her hind legs. Yes, her freaking hind legs! She holds the radio. ''It's Conga line!'' She yells happily. Ponies join her and dance behind her, each of them having their hooves on the other's back. Me and Salicornia just stare, perplexed. Pinkie then dances in solo with the radio to the rymth, with the ponies clapping their hooves at her. Suddenly, she trips and falls to the ground. The radio falls in the fire. ''Oops.'' She utters. ''NOPE!'' Salicornia yells before running away in the woods. ''No, Sukie! Come back!'' Yells a white pegasi mare wearing a golden harness. This camping trip starts so well. But I made yet more new friends at least. PrologueIt's dark... So dark... Nothing else, but black. That is until I decide to open my eyes... But as I barely lift my eyelids, light forces them down. Too bright. So I struggle to open my eyes despite the flashing light. I finally manage to keep my eyes open after many blinks. Now everything is white. Nothing, but white. Where am I? ...What am I? I get up, then sit on my rump. I'm so confused... I raise a front limb toward my sight. Hooves? I have hooves? And I seem to have pale, dull colors. I keep looking at my body parts. Foot, shoulders... What is my face like? And the lines of my body are rough-looking... squarish... I think I mean... ''pixielated''? I don't remember much things... At all. But then, I hear a noise. A... I don't even know how to say it! But when I hear it again, I start to get the name. C... ''Clicky'' noise? I look both ways. I then hear it yet again. I look behind me. Nothing. I walk back, completely lost. But a bumping noise startled me so intensely that I abruptly turn around and let out a short scream. Next to me, is a four-legged creature, like me, that has her hooves pressed to an invisible wall between us. Her face expresses horror. She is like me, but with flashy green colors that I can't stare at and a badly drawn colorful mane. ''He-Hello?'' I say in a shaken voice. ''Help... Help me!'' She begs in a weak tone. She is suddenly dragged away and disappears into the fog of white. I just stand here. What just happened? So many questions flows through my head very fast. I have difficulty to breathe correctly after the suspense. Suddenly, a white floating arrow-thing emerges from the mist and floats toward me. It then stops. It then swings forward and backward, hitting the wall many times. The wall starts to crack. I walk back. In the last hit, it breaks free to approach me very closer. ''W... What are you?'' I ask. ''You are going to be my new OC. It says in an emotionless voice. Let me modify you.'' ''M-modify what?'' ''Modification.'' I finally decide to act and avoid the thing poking my muzzle and run off. But it follow me very fast. It blocks my way and forces me to another direction. I run. Very fast. But it keeps catching me and nearly touching me. I don't want to know what happens if it does touch me! Am I going to end up like that similar of me with the intense colors? I am starting to run out of breath. I am cornered by the thing. ''Quit running. It says. Resistance is futile. I need you to be my OC for my stories. You won't feel anything.'' I look both ways, trying to find a place to escape. But the place is just a plain white background. It is until I spot a red square on the right with a white symbol on it that looks like a ''X''. I yet again avoided the arrow's touch and run to the direction of the red square, with the arrow still being after me. I have no idea what happens when I reach it. Will I be to a different place? This is the thing I hope for the most. I am almost there... I charge at it. When I got through it, I got in free fall. Everything is dark again...
Chapter 1: ArrivalI feel a soft breeze caressing me.
