Fighting The Monster By Himself
A few years into the fight with the AEL's Twilight was in her room as she was reading a book on how to perform defense spells so that she wanted to learn more of them just so she could be prepared to defend herself against AEL's, as Twilight read Discord magically transported to her room.
"Could you like... not do that? You startle me every time you do, and sometimes you nearly give me heart attacks, just walk through the front door." Twilight asked as she rolled her eyes.
"But it's more fun this way! And besides you love me to much to be annoyed by something as simple as that." Discord teased, Twilight smiled and shook her head.
"What do you need hon?" Twilight asked as she closed her book and put the book away. Discord got behind her and touched her back.
"Do you want to have some fun with me?" Discord asked seductively as he put emphasis on the word fun, Twilight rolled her eyes but smiled.
"Discord I would love to but not now, I have all this studying I need to do just in case I need to help against an AEL, really don't want a repeat of last time." Twilight said, Discord smirked and made Twilight's hair appear on his head and glasses on his face as he impersonated her.
"I'm Twilight Sparkle I and I have to keep studying because I'm a nerd." Discord teased.
"Very funny but I have to do this now." Twilight remarked as she sighed and went back to read her book but as she did that Discord started to kiss her back, she shook her head and she finally gave up. She turned around to face her lover.
"Alright you want to have a fun time? She said seductively as she kissed him, they started to tongue kiss as Discord fell back into the bed, Twilight got on top of him and kissed, as they started to get into it there was a rapid knock on their door. Twilight grunted in annoyance. She stopped and spoke.
"Who is it?" Twilight called out, Spike told her to open the door so she got off of Discord and Discord stood up while Spike ran into Twilight's room wearing a military uniform.
"Twilight were under attack by an AEL!" Spike declared, Twilight shrugged.
"Okay well...what exactly do you need us to do?" Twilight asked.
"Celestia wanted you to know first hand that an AEL is coming before she started the AEL emergency warning as they are getting all citizens to take shelter immediately!" Spike said quickly. Twilight didn't ask any further questions as she and Discord did what they were told to do, she saw other ponies heading for the shelter as well. Spike then ran towards the command center.
When Spike got there he immediately ran into the debriefing room where Celestia Shining Armor was giving a speech to the defense league.
"We found an AEL attacking a house in Ponyville before heading towards the Everfree forest, we need a unit to go in there and take it out." He said but he was cut off as Spike spoke up.
"I'll do it! I don't want unnecassary deaths, if you send me there we can avoid that." Spike declared, the other members looked at him in shock and surprise, Shining Armor gulped as he tried to explain the situation.
"Spike...I don't think it's a good idea sending you in by yourself we don't want you to risk your life while being alone there, we can send a unit with you...." Shining Armor said but was cut off.
"No, we shouldn't send a unit, we do not want to loose anymore comrades as we have now, we need to be smart about this Shining Armor, if I go in there with camouflage then I can take it out if with a crossbow if I aim right, please commander I can do this!" Spike declared bravely. Shining Armor reluctantly dropped his concern.
"Alright then...we'll send you in but you have to be careful Spike, it's weak point is it's underside and if you shoot it in the chest as well a few times it will go down but the easier way would be to climb inside it and take it out, report back to us once you kill it." Shining Armor said.
Yes sir!" Spike yelled.
Spike gave salute and ran off to fight the creature, he stopped by his locker and grabbed a bag and slung it over his two shoulders and grabbed a weapon as he ran off. He walked to the quarantined area and began to look for the creature.
He wondered how big it was as he searched for footprints, he continued to stop so that he didn't tire himself out, he took another drink and continued to look, he kept his senses on the alert as he tried to hear the monster.
As he walked deeper into the forest he heard a loud noise, he froze in fear as he looked around, he took out his crossbow and pointed it in the direction the sound was coming from, he stayed as quiet as he could so that he could try and kill it without being spotted that was hen he saw the beast.
It was so large he had to look up to see it, he cursed to himself as it noticed him, he immediately turned around and ran the other direction as the monster chased after him, he dodged it's fist several times as he knew that a hit could paralyze or even kill him.
He tried to run as fast as he could while he tried to think of a strategy to defeat the beast, he needed to kill it before it attacked Ponyville, he wondered where this one originated from. It chased after him causing him to trip several times he was still ahead of it though.
He shot the monster in the eye and it screamed in pain, he loaded up the crossbow again as it tried to hit him but he jumped out of the way just in time, he ran some distance away from it as it was blind, he finally loaded up the crossbow and he waited for it, it started to run towards him. Spike almost pissed himself.
"Aw fuck!!" Spike cursed as it took a swing at him while it was blinded, he got hit by the creature and it sent him flying backwards, he hit a tree and landed on the ground, he looked up to see the monster trying to hit him and he rolled out of the way just in time the monsters claw hit the ground.
Spike then slid under the monster and shot the monster several times with the crossbow, it roared in pain as it backed up and tried to squash him, he rolled away and shot hit again, the monster swiped Spike's crossbow away and then it hit Spike and sent him flying backwards until he hit the ground, he stood up and ran to the crossbow.
He got the crossbow as the monster roared in anger and looked down at him. He shot it inside the mouth of the creature and the creature started to choke which have Spike the advantage to attack it, Spike around to the back and started to cut through it's tail, he finally cut the tail off the monster which caused it to scream in agony.
It turned around and took a swipe at Spike, Spike was pummeled backwards, he groaned in pain as he had a bruise on his chest. He shot it again and decided that the only way he could kill the creature is if he climbed it again, he got onto the creature as it tried to shake him off.
Spike held on for dear life and then Spike proceeded to cut away the monsters skin, it screamed as Spike dug furiously, cutting away the monsters flesh, he sunk his claws into the creature as it screamed out in agony. He cut away the flesh and started to crawl his way into the monster, he hacked the fleshed from the creature as it started to yell loudly as it became frantic, it was disgusting as he was covered in the monsters blood.
He made it to the heart, he quickly took his knife and stabbed the heart of the creature repeatedly, he finally cut the heart out and the monster collapsed, Spike cut himself out of the creature and cleaned himself off in the stream, he cleaned his wounds and went back to the command center.
He reported it to the the guards and the defense force, Celestia ended the quarantine and had the monster cut apart to be examined, the press got word and began to ask details of what went on during the battle. He explained it to the press as best as he could.
The defense forces told Spike that they would give him some help by sending some soldiers with him the next time he went to fight a creature and he told them that would be appreciated.
He went to the safety shelter to tell Discord and Twilight of what happened, Twilight hugged him as she was glad that he was safe and then Spike, Twilight and Discord went home and Spike was congratulated for saving the town. Twilight, her friends and Discord were glad that Spike was safe at home.
