She turns to her right to see a cream and silver coulored pony. "Silver!" She shouts happily. Trying to sit up, a sharp sting comes from her chest and she winces. Lifting a hoof, she places it on her chest. "What happened? A-and why can't I see very well?" She asks. She watches the blurs she knew where her friends get up, and walk out the room. Replacing them was a dark blue blur, and a black and white one. "Drink this, miss Azure." The black and white one told her. "W-what is it?" She asks, the vial of liquid getting closer to her. "A cure too your sight, miss Azure." It tells her. She dicides she doesn't have a choice, and drinks it. It was like sludge, it slowly oozed into her mouth and down her throught. 'this tastes worse than raisins!' she thought. But true to the word of the black and white blur, she regained her sight. Looking around, she recognizes the room. She's in Canterlot hospital. She turns to the things that where previously blurs and recognize Zecora and Luna. "Welcome back, Azure Aura." Luna tells her. "I would suggest you turn back to a pony, don't want to scare bypassers." Hearing Luna say that, Azure looks at her Hooves. She sees that they aren't actually hooves, but claws! "Dammit..." She says to herself and closes her eyes, thinking. Hoping to find the same voice that helped her transform. Time to sleep? it asks her. Time to sleep. she tells it. And she feels the same warmth she felt when she first changed. But it didn't hurt nearly as much. And It was over before she knew it. Opening her eyes, she looks at the hooves she's come to love. "What happened? Why am I here?" Azure questions the two in the room. "We were attacked. I knew vampires hated lycans, but I didn't know to what extent. They came in with Griffin arms and completely shot up the place. Killing three and wounding a couple of others, including you." Luna tells her. Her eyes growing wide with realization, Azure tried to sit up again. She was successful, she felt no pain. "The potion I gave you, also healed the hole in you." Zecora says. "Can I go than?" Azure asks them. "No, you cannot." A nurse says, walking into the room. "Oh! Princess!" The nurse yells surprised. She bows. "Please, do not bow." Luna tells her. Complying, the nurse stands up and walks over to Azure. "Even if Zecora managed to heal you, your body must rest. It's taken trauma and must take time to adjust to the spontaneous healing." She tells Azure, earning a groan of disapproval. "Well, I'll leave y'all to it. Have a nice night." The nurse tells them, walking out. "I suppose there is time to explain some things." "So the reason that vampires hate lycans is because they feel like you favor lycans more than them?" Azure confirms. "Correct. Now how they got ahold of Griffin Arms, I do not know. They where illegalized quite some time ago." Luna tells Azure. "I think your hanging out with Zecora a little too much." Azure jokes, causing them both to laugh. "Is the Lycan group here in Canterlot the only one?" She asks Luna. "No, their all over equestria. Even one in your home town of Ponyville. I suggest you go join it." She tells her. "I definitely will." Azure says. Silence held awkwardly for a few minutes untill there was a knock on the door. "Come in!" Luna yells for Azure. The door squeeks open and three ponies walk in. The first to walk in was a red coated pony, her mane red aswell. Rosy, her name is. Second to walk on is a yellow coated mare, white mane. Angelica, Azure recalled. The last pony brown coated and black maned pony. Tamer. "Your awake!" Rosy happily yells, trotting over to Azure. Angelica and Tamer following her. "About time!" Angelica says, laughing. They all go to the right of Azure. "About time?" Azure asks. "How long was I out?" "Only a day." Tamer says. "She's just being dramatic." "Well, I suppose I'll leave you alone." Luna says to them. "Bye!" "Sleep well, Luna!" Azure let's out a deep sigh after walking out of the building. "Being cooped up for two days can really cramp ya." Azure tells her friends. Everypony is there, Cherry, Cloudy, Silver, Sunset, Rosy, Angelica, Tamer, Zecora, and Luna. It was a full crowd. "Everypony!" Luna yells from behind the group. They all turn to look at her." I suggest we give Azure her space. Let's all go home. Allow her to decide what she wants to do." Luna tells them all. With a nod from everypony, they all say goodbye, and walk away. Leaving just Luna and Azure. "Thank you, Luna. There was do many of them." Azure thanks. "Of course, now, run along home. You should get some real rest." Luna tells her. "Can you walk with me? It's quite a walk, and I don't want to do it alone." "Of course, Azure Aura." Luna says, staring to walk alongside Azure. "You can call me Azure, you don't need my last name." She says to Luna. But we will deal with it when it comes. In the mean time, I don't think you'll withstand this walk. I'll transport you there with my magic." She says her horn glowing purple. "Oh, and Azure." Luna says. "Yes?" "I'm sorry for dragging you into Just Another War." She says, before teliporting Azure. The DecisionsAzure woke to a knock on her front door. Getting up from the couch she had decided to sleep on instead of her bed, she walked over to the door. Praying to Celestia her mane wasn't a complete mess, she opened the door. "Hi!" Silver says, Sunset behind him. "Hello." Azure responds tiredly. "Did we wake somepony?" Sunset asks, giving her an innocent smile. "Uh-huh." She says while inviting them in. Closing the door behind them, she turns around to look at them. Looking at Silver, she can already feel distenced from him, and pulled towards Tamer. "How'd my favorite mare sleep?" Silver asks, putting a hoof under her chin. She jumps, not realizing how close he'd gotten. "O-oh.... I-i.... Slept well..." She tells him, unconvincingly. "Uh-huh.... Well, come sit. We need to talk." He tells her, walking over to the couch and sitting to Silver's left. 'uh oh... What did I do?' she thinks, mentally sorting through things she's done that they would need to 'talk' about. Walking over, she sits in a chair across from the couch. She looks at the two stallions across from her. "So, Sunset, Cherry, Cloudy and I talked." Silver starts. "And we decided. If you felt like you needed to, we could all get apartments in Manehattan." She asks, visually confused. "Well... Your part of a war now. If you needed to get away from it, or if you wanted to start a new life not concerning said war. Then we could move with you. Getting up along with Sunset. "Two fillyfoolers in the city?" She asks. "That'll go over well." "Yep.... I brought that up to them but they're more stubborn than mules." Sunset tells her, laughing. "Well, we'll go... Bye Azure!" He continues, walking over to the door, opening it and walking out. "Bye..." She says, then turns to Silver. "You going to?' she asks, watching him walk over to her. Seeing this all happen from the hallway, Sunset laughs, closing the door, allowing them to go further. "So, what did she say?" Cherry asks Sunset. Taking a sip from his coffee, he responds. "She didn't say anything about it. She studdered, but didn't give a response." Setting is coffee back down on the table. He sighs, looking around the coffee shop. "What ya thinkin', Sunny?" Cloudy asks him. Looking back at the two mares across the table, he speaks what he's been thinking sense that Nightmare Night about five days ago. "It's just hard to fathom. Seeing as we know about these things now. The existence of Lycans and Vampires, it's hard to not think about who's what." He says looking around again. "How many ponies here aren't what they say they are. Aren't who everypony trusts they are." He continues, gaining a nod from them both. "I know. It's kinda like that Changling epidemic a while back." Cloudy says. "Yea..." Was both Sunset and Cherry's response. After some silence, a yellowy-gold coated and silver maned pony walks up, holding a badge by his magic. "RCIS." He tells them. "I'm going to need you three to come with me." Azure sighs, falling off of Silver and into the bed next to him. "I love you." She says, giving him a kiss on the cheek. "Love you too." He tells her. After a few minutes of laying there, letting their bodies rest, Azure gets up. "I'm gonna shower. I need to go out in a bit." She says, getting off the bed and walking towards the door way. "Where ya need to go?" Silver asks curiously, sitting up. "I'm going to go visit the Ponyville Lycan family. See if I like it more than the Canterlot one." She says, walking out of the bedroom and into the bathroom. "Huh...." Silver respond to himself. Silver Raindrop steps out of the shower, and towels off. "Can I help you, Mr. Colt?" Azure says. Turning around, Raindrop sees that Azure has walked up. "Yes, you can. You can come to me to the Canterlot Castle." Colt tells them. "Why? Are we in trouble?" Raindrop asks, watching Colt put the badge back into his brown trench coat. "Not exactly. I have two mares and a stallion over there who claim to know you. They where discussing classified information in the middle of a public Cafe. Just to confirm they are who they claim they are. I need you to come with me." He tells them. Seeing no other reason not to, Azure agrees. "Okay." She tells him, causing Raindrop to swivel around in suprise. "Why? You heard him, we're not in trouble. So why not?" She tells him. The AnswerAzure Aura sat confused in the interrogation booth. She'd been arrested for murder. Thinking things over, she knows she hasn't killed anypony. Continuing on this train of thought, the door opens and the agent who arrested her steps in. Closing the door behind him. "Hello, Miss Aura. My name is Silver Colt. Now being a Lycan. You can change at will, correct?" He asks, taking the seat across from her. "C-correct..." She hesitently responds. Lifting some files with his magic, he places a picture down on the table. "Have you ever seen this pony?" He asks, but Azure refuses to look. "When were they killed?" She enquires, her voice shaking. "My partner estimates about a moon ago." He tells her. Heaving a deep sigh, Azure removes the bandages from her leg. Looking at her leg, she sees is was healed, cause of the potion Zecora gave her. "Dammit..." She whispers to herself. "Talk to Luna, she'll confirm I was turned this Nightmare Night." "That'll be done later, but please, answer my question. Have you seen this pony before?" Looking down, Azure examines the picture. Seeing the blue coated and blue maned pony, and broke into tears. "T-thats....." Shakey breaths "that's my.... My sister!!" She starts bawling, putting her head in her Hooves, she continues to bawl. Giving her a minute, Colt grabs all the stuff with his magic and leaves the room, leaving the door open. After about a half an hour of mourning, a chesnut brown mare walks in. Azure looks up at the blood red maned pony. "Please come with me, Miss Aura. Princess Luna would like to see you." She tells her. Nodding and wiping her eyes with her hooves, Azure gets up and walks over. "I'm sorry for your loss." Walking from the RCIS headquarters to the palace is a walk Azure never wants to do again. Her friends caught up with her though, they let Cherry, Cloudy and Sunset off with a warning. Just as long as they don't speak about classified stuff in the middle of public areas. Walking up the palace steps, and into the palace, nopony said a word. Not the RCIS lady, or Azure's friends. The RCIS lady showed her badge to the palace guard, and told him Azure was with her. "I'm sorry." She says to Azure's friends. "Princess Luna only wants to see Azure. I'm afraid this is where you part ways for a while." She tells them. Then walks through the palace doors. Azure waves, then follows. Catching up, Azure works up the ability to ask her escort her name. "My name is Andreah Reigns." She tells her. "I'm the one investigating your sister's murder." "T-thank you..." Azure tells her. "If you don't mind me asking, I have a few questions to ask, for the investigation. We have a couple of minutes till we get to the throne Hall." "Sure..." Azure responds, following Andreah around a corner. "Did you know that something happened to your sister? Did you stay in touch with her?" "N-no... We've never been exactly 'close". She's always thought I was the favorite child of the family. She distenced herself from me once we both moved out." She tells her, holding back the tears welling. "So no communication at all after you both moved?" "None." "Alrighty... Even though you were out of touch. Did you know of anypony who wanted to do harm to her?" Andreah asks, stopping to let Azure answer. "N-not at all. She wasn't ever in trouble or got herself into any. She never had debts or things to do with anypony else." She answers, slumping to the floor. "Okay, thank you. You've been very helpful." She says, sitting down and pulling Azure into a hug. "I want you to tell her she was killed by a vampire." Luna tells Andreah. "But why? I don't want to lie to a greaving pony." Andreah persists. "We need more lycan soldiers. We're running low. Those dammed vampires targeted all the families that night. The numbers were decimated." Luna demands. "Fine. I'll do it. Fine." She says, turning around. "But it's on your conscience. Not mine." She tells the princess, leaving. Remembering the orders, Andreah looks at the pony she's comforting. "Azure..." Deep breath. "We believe that your sister was killed by a...". Another deep breath. "Vampire." Azure's crying became more Ridgid. Soon she got up from Andreah's grasp, growling. "I need to speak to the princess." Walking into the throne room Azure looked around. "I've never been here before. It's a beautiful place." She says. Andreah hums an agreement. Walking up to the empty throne, Azure groans. "Where is she? I thought she needed to talk to me." Azure says to Andreah, impatiently. "Yes, I do need to talk to you, Azure Aura." A disimbodied voice says. Looking around, Azure is unable to find the source of the voice. "I'm right here." It says again, and a bright blue/purple flash originates from the throne. In it's wake is Luna. "Ah! Luna! I need to talk to you!" Azure tells impatiently. "I will speak first." Luna tells her. "I am in need of more lycan soldiers. And you are able bodied. Are you willing to fight the vampires?" "Princess Luna, that's exactly what I needed to talk to you about." Walking out of the bathroom, he yells at Azure. "You left barely any hot water for me! How rude." He says teasingly. "Oh hush." She tells him. "At least you had so-" she was cut off by the sound of a knock at the door. "I'll get it." Silver tells her, walking over to the door. He opens it to see a yellowy-gold coated and silver maned unicorn. Holding a shiny stainless steel badge up by his magic, reading it, he sees it says 'RCIS SPECIAL AGENT: SILVER COLT'. "Can I help you, Mr. Colt?" Azure says. Turning around, Raindrop sees that Azure has walked up. "Yes, you can. You can come to me to the Canterlot Castle." Colt tells them. "Why? Are we in trouble?" Raindrop asks, watching Colt put the badge back into his brown trench coat. "Not exactly. I have two mares and a stallion over there who claim to know you. They where discussing classified information in the middle of a public Cafe. Just to confirm they are who they claim they are. I need you to come with me." He tells them. Seeing no other reason not to, Azure agrees. "Okay." She tells him, causing Raindrop to swivel around in suprise. "Why? You heard him, we're not in trouble. So why not?" She tells him. "I thought you where going to the Ponyville 'meeting'? Why the change of disision?" Raindrop asks. "What meeting?" Colt asks, causing Raindrop to go freeze and Azure to blush embarrassedly. "Well.... Ummm.... Ya see...." She says hesitently. "She's a Lycan." Raindrop finishes, turning around. "Oh.... Now that's a change. I'm sorry, but I'm investigating the murder of a Pegasus. We suspect that a Lycan is the culprit. I'm sorry. Miss. Azure Aura. Your under arrest in suspicion of the murder of clover leaf." Author's Note What are you doing Micro!? You can't just cross your stories like that! (Yes I can.....) The murder of Murky Sky is not going to be any of Andreah's stories, I just wanted to throw them in for fun.
The AnswerAzure Aura sat confused in the interrogation booth. She'd been arrested for murder. Thinking things over, she knows she hasn't killed anypony. Continuing on this train of thought, the door opens and the agent who arrested her steps in. Closing the door behind him. "Hello, Miss Aura. My name is Silver Colt. Now being a Lycan. You can change at will, correct?" He asks, taking the seat across from her. "C-correct..." She hesitently responds. Lifting some files with his magic, he places a picture down on the table. "Have you ever seen this pony?" He asks, but Azure refuses to look. "When were they killed?" She enquires, her voice shaking. "My partner estimates about a moon ago." He tells her. Heaving a deep sigh, Azure removes the bandages from her leg. Looking at her leg, she sees is was healed, cause of the potion Zecora gave her. "Dammit..." She whispers to herself. "Talk to Luna, she'll confirm I was turned this Nightmare Night." "That'll be done later, but please, answer my question. Have you seen this pony before?" Looking down, Azure examines the picture. Seeing the blue coated and blue maned pony, and broke into tears. "T-thats....." Shakey breaths "that's my.... My sister!!" She starts bawling, putting her head in her Hooves, she continues to bawl. Giving her a minute, Colt grabs all the stuff with his magic and leaves the room, leaving the door open. After about a half an hour of mourning, a chesnut brown mare walks in. Azure looks up at the blood red maned pony. "Please come with me, Miss Aura. Princess Luna would like to see you." She tells her. Nodding and wiping her eyes with her hooves, Azure gets up and walks over. "I'm sorry for your loss." Walking from the RCIS headquarters to the palace is a walk Azure never wants to do again. Her friends caught up with her though, they let Cherry, Cloudy and Sunset off with a warning. Just as long as they don't speak about classified stuff in the middle of public areas. Walking up the palace steps, and into the palace, nopony said a word. Not the RCIS lady, or Azure's friends. The RCIS lady showed her badge to the palace guard, and told him Azure was with her. "I'm sorry." She says to Azure's friends. "Princess Luna only wants to see Azure. I'm afraid this is where you part ways for a while." She tells them. Then walks through the palace doors. Azure waves, then follows. Catching up, Azure works up the ability to ask her escort her name. "My name is Andreah Reigns." She tells her. "I'm the one investigating your sister's murder." "T-thank you..." Azure tells her. "If you don't mind me asking, I have a few questions to ask, for the investigation. We have a couple of minutes till we get to the throne Hall." "Sure..." Azure responds, following Andreah around a corner. "Did you know that something happened to your sister? Did you stay in touch with her?" "N-no... We've never been exactly 'close". She's always thought I was the favorite child of the family. She distenced herself from me once we both moved out." She tells her, holding back the tears welling. "So no communication at all after you both moved?" "None." "Alrighty... Even though you were out of touch. Did you know of anypony who wanted to do harm to her?" Andreah asks, stopping to let Azure answer. "N-not at all. She wasn't ever in trouble or got herself into any. She never had debts or things to do with anypony else." She answers, slumping to the floor. "Okay, thank you. You've been very helpful." She says, sitting down and pulling Azure into a hug. "I want you to tell her she was killed by a vampire." Luna tells Andreah. "But why? I don't want to lie to a greaving pony." Andreah persists. "We need more lycan soldiers. We're running low. Those dammed vampires targeted all the families that night. The numbers were decimated." Luna demands. "Fine. I'll do it. Fine." She says, turning around. "But it's on your conscience. Not mine." She tells the princess, leaving. Remembering the orders, Andreah looks at the pony she's comforting. "Azure..." Deep breath. "We believe that your sister was killed by a...". Another deep breath. "Vampire." Azure's crying became more Ridgid. Soon she got up from Andreah's grasp, growling. "I need to speak to the princess." Walking into the throne room Azure looked around. "I've never been here before. It's a beautiful place." She says. Andreah hums an agreement. Walking up to the empty throne, Azure groans. "Where is she? I thought she needed to talk to me." Azure says to Andreah, impatiently. "Yes, I do need to talk to you, Azure Aura." A disimbodied voice says. Looking around, Azure is unable to find the source of the voice. "I'm right here." It says again, and a bright blue/purple flash originates from the throne. In it's wake is Luna. "Ah! Luna! I need to talk to you!" Azure tells impatiently. "I will speak first." Luna tells her. "I am in need of more lycan soldiers. And you are able bodied. Are you willing to fight the vampires?" "Princess Luna, that's exactly what I needed to talk to you about." Taking a deep sigh, Azure looks at Luna. "I'll do it." Author's Note Sorry for the slightly shorter chapter. I wasn't able to make it any longer without bleeding into the next story. Azure Aura will be back in the last story of this trilogy: Just Another Ending
