A Snowy Sunrise

Snowy is a young filly, and today was her favorite day ever: Winter! She hopped out of bed, excitedly to look outside and see snow. She trotted fast into the kitchen happily.

"Good morning Snowy." Her mother had said to her. "Hello Mother. I can't believe it's winter! I love the snow!!" Snowy had said.

Her mother giggled. "Well, thats why we named you Snowy! Here, let me help you up into your seat." Snowy's mother helped her up to the seat.

"But why is the eclipse part in my name, mother?" Snowy had wondered that a long time. "Well, when me and your father were on our honeymoon, a eclipse happened, so we decided to add Eclipse to your name."

Her mother then looked at the time. "Oh my, snowy, you have to go to school!" "Alright mother, I love you." She said. Snowys Mother Replied, "I love you too, Snowy. Have a good day at school today." She leaned down and kissed snowy on the cheek, then Snowy left for school.

Snowy never really felt cold in the snow. She wished she could be outside all day. She trotted into the schoolhouse, which was warm from the heater. "Good Morning Class!" Miss Cheerilee Had said. The class replied, "GOOD MORNING MISS CHEERILEE!"

"Now, class, do we know what day of year it is?" Snowy quickly raised her hoof. "Yes, Snowy?" "Its the first day of Winter!!!" Snowy said. "Yes, it is, Snowy! But since it is so cold, I'm afraid we will have to stay inside all day." Everypony weren't mad nor happy. Snowy was the only one that moaned.

The school day passed, and Snowy trotted home. When she got home, she saw a letter. She could not believe what she was reading:

Dear Snowy,

I am sorry but we had to leave. We had no other choice.
We were being threatened and it was going to far.
I hope you forgive us. Goodbye For now.

She sat down on the ground, tears filled her eyes. She trotted off to ponyville hoping to find her mother or father.
