It was only ten minutes before she began to feel the effects of what she had eaten.

And a dentist appointment, and a massage at the spa.
And have tea with Fluttershy at her house, then go straight to dinner with the other girls, and finally, a sleepover with Sunset Shimmer.
How could she have forgotten? Of all the times to have chosen today to get really gassy. All of these were times when she'd prefer NOT to fart.
She ran to Rarity's house as fast as she could, farting a few times along the way, hoping she'd be able to hold it at Rarity's.

But, this would be a much bigger fart than before, and she knew Rarity would be extremely offended, especially if she knew that Rainbow Dash deliberately made herself this gassy. And she'd be even more offended if she farted in one of her dresses.
"Are you all right, Rainbow Dash?" said Rarity as Rainbow was trying on the fifteenth dress.
"Of course, I'm fine!" said Rainbow, sweating a little.
"If you need to use the bathroom, just say so."
"Oh, no. I'm just a little nervous about our performance!" She considered farting inside Rarity's bathroom, but she knew Rarity would hear it.
Finally, the last dress had been tried on.
"Well, we're right on time to go straight to the stage!" said Rarity.
"Yeah, can I go home and get my guitar first?"
"You already left if there, remember?"
"Right..."
Rainbow continued to hold it in as she and Rarity went to the stage.
As they played their song, Rainbow continued to hold it in. She did think it would be funny to fart in the middle of a song, but she also knew the other girls wouldn't appreciate the song being ruined like this.
For the first three songs, she was able to perform perfectly, but she was slightly off with the guitar at a few points for some of the later songs.
At one break between songs, Rainbow needed to pee. She decided that she would fart at the same time. She might not enjoy it to the fullest extent, but at least it wouldn't ruin her band performance one way or the other.
"I have to go to the bathroom!" She ran to the bathroom. She didn't have to pee too badly so she thought she'd fart first.

She reached the dentist office, but they seemed to be running a little late. She had to wait a half hour, and the intense pressure in her grew greater. As much as she would love to hear these people react to her fart, she knew it would stink up the entire room and they wouldn't appreciate that.
Finally, Rainbow Dash's name was called, and she lay on the dentist's chair while the dentist checked out her teeth. She continued to hold in her gas as the dentist finished the checkup and told her that her teeth were fine.
She had thought she'd have some time to relax before her massage, but now it seemed she'd have to rush straight to it. As she ran to the spa, she let out another short fart to ease the pressure a bit, while knowing there would still be a lot left when she was done.
Rainbow was thankful she always asked for a back massage and not something like a butt massage, if they even did that here, because she'd accidentally fart in Lotus Blossom's face. She was able to hold it in and enjoy the massage to some extent, though she tensed up a bit as the pressure became as intense as before. Lotus took this to mean her muscles were more tense than usual and extended the massage longer.
At about 3:00, she was done.
Rainbow ran to Fluttershy's house, again farting just a little to relieve the pressure, but saving it for when she was either on her own or in front of people who didn't mind.
As Rainbow and Fluttershy drank their tea, Fluttershy talked about things she had done today before and after the band performance, which mostly involved her pets or the animal shelter.
"Rainbow Dash... are you all right?" said Fluttershy, noticing Rainbow Dash's extreme discomfort and her sweating.
"Of course, why wouldn't I be?" said Rainbow. She knew Fluttershy wouldn't hold it against her for farting in front of her, but she did not want to have to expose her to such a loud fart. She didn't want to use Fluttershy's bathroom either because the smell would be worse than Fluttershy had ever experienced. If she tried to go to the bathroom at least 10 minutes after, she'd probably wet herself, and Rainbow didn't want that.
After an hour, Rainbow and Fluttershy made their way to the restaurant to meet the other girls. Along the way, Rainbow let out a silent fart for about three seconds. Fluttershy didn't hear it, and outside she couldn't smell it. But Rainbow still wanted to experience the big fart as loud as she could.

"You're on!" Rainbow cooked several big plates of beans, sprinkling a lot of fart powder on each one. She kept one plate for herself, in case she was getting low on gas. But, she could feel another fart coming and held it in for the contest.
Once Sunset finished her plates of beans, she changed into her pajamas, which she had packed with her to the restaurant.

Rainbow's first fart was airy but audible, and lasted five seconds. Her second fart was higher-pitched and eight seconds long. The third was very loud, but also very short. The fourth was a little quieter and was six seconds long. And the fifth was loud, wet, and lasted for eleven seconds. She peed a little more in the middle of this fart, but it didn't show up on her skirt.
"All right," said Sunset, and she turned around so that her behind was facing Rainbow. Rainbow thought Sunset's butt looked so cute in these pajama pants.

Once they were done, they stood up and took turns farting, forgetting to time them and just having fun, laughing with every fart.
