Several Thousand Years ago Equestria was bordered by several kingdoms of creatures called Humans. Humans were creatures who walked on two legs, were mostly hairless with the exception of the top of the head and on their faces. The creatures recorded history only seems to go back as far as when Discord was defeated by Princess Celestia and Princess Luna with The Elements Of Harmony, this event was also what made gave Mares cocks and balls and shrunk Stallion cocks and balls, Humans were not effected by this magical change even though most creatures were, a common and widely accepted theory is that Humans came into existence do to The Elements Of Harmony.

The Human Kingdoms that bordered and surrounded Equestria were Lucius, Nifflehiem, Caralor, and Bretonia. Humans and their kingdoms were undiscovered by Ponykind and Humans didn't know of Ponykind, But when Humans and Ponies met a majority of Humans became jealous and resentful of Ponies for having better control and knowledge of Magic and how they could control the weather. Lucius was to the West, Nifflehiem was to the North, Caralor was to the South, and Bretonia was to the East.

Lucius was the Kingdom of Magic and was the most peaceful of the kingdoms. Nifflehiem was the Kingdom that had the largest army and was the most aggressive of the kingdoms. Caralor was the Kingdom that was well known among the kingdoms for their cunning and deception and the most deceptive of the kingdoms. Bretonia was the Kingdom of Wolves, it was called this since Bretonia was home to a race of Humans called Lycans or Werewolves and was the most honorable and loyal of the kingdoms.

When Ponies first met Humans the negotiations seemed to go well and the Ponies believed Humans were peaceful creatures like them. The Ponies were even given permission to build settlements inside the kingdoms and lived peacefully with the Humans. The Humans however were plotting to take over Equestria and enslave the Ponies.

The Humans began their attempt to take over with the capture of Pony settlements inside their kingdoms and moved quickly to their borders to invade Equestria, The Human-Pony War had begun. At the start of the war Equestria lost much territory to the Human onslaught. Many Pony Soldiers died do to the quickness and cunning of The Human armies that invaded Equestria.

The losses were mainly do to the sudden attacks and most pony forces were caught off guard and couldn't react in time. The war went like this for a decade with little pony victories against the invaders. Most pony commanders and generals were crushed do to underestimating the human commanders and generals.

Princess Celestia started to believe the war was lost when the territory of Equestria declined to being roughly thirty miles outside of The Everfree Forest. The ponies who retreated to the Everfree Forest started to grow hungry and desperate do to so many being in the same area with little resources. The war turned around when Princess Luna chose to personally lead the pony soldiers with the help of The Night Guards and was able to win a massive battle against the humans.

In this battle one of the human generals and several commanders fell to Luna's counterattack. Taking advantage of the recent victory Princess Luna lead a massive push against the human front lines and pushed them back furthers and further away from The Everfree Forest. In just a year Equestria had retook half of their country from the human invaders, most of the commanders and generals who had been responsible for the continuous success of the invasion had died in battle.

The following decade saw Princess Luna and the pony army retaking all of Equestria from the invaders and captured many prisoners from the defeated human armies. When Equestria had fully been liberated Princess Celestia joined her sister in leading their army against the Humans. They decided to ensure humans wouldn't invade Equestria again and enslave ponies so they launched a massive invasion in Caralor and in a year conquered the kingdom and freed the pony slaves from their human oppressors.

Having taken one kingdom the Equestrians were in high spirits and believed they could take the others. The royal family of Caralor were taken as spoils of war by Luna and her main commanders and would 'service' them greatly when not in battle against the remaining soldiers in Caralor. The Equestrian Army split up and went separate ways, Princess Luna took her forces and attacked Bretonia while Princess Celestia took her forces and attacked Lucius.

Their invasions took a year and had been successes and the royal families and noble families became spoils of war for the Futa Pony Commanders and their subjects who were particularly troublesome became spoils of war for the Futa Pony Soldiers. The pony armies were helped by Humans who didn't want to fight any longer, these Humans were treated well but were told that the ponies would keep soldiers in their lands to keep the peace. A year later found the pony armies on the border of Nifflehiem preparing to invade it and ending thee war once and for all.

After two more years of fighting Nifflehiem fell to the onslaught and was no more. With the kingdoms destroyed and all the pony slaves freed the time had come for Celestia, Luna, and their commanders to decide what to do with the other Humans. After a week of consideration and debates it was decided to enslave humans and treat them like they treated the ponies they enslaved. The Humans who helped them however would be given some lands near The Everfree Forest and would be free creatures with some restrictions to ensure they didn't try to enslave ponies, they would be part of Equestria and would be protected by Equestria and expected to follow the ponies laws.

And with that Humans became slaves to the ponies and would be treated like property. The descendent of the royal families were the personal slaves of Celestia and Luna. When Luna was banished her slaves were taken by Celestia and when Luna returned they would be given back since they preferred her.
