"Diamond Tiara. Come in."
Diamond Tiara immediately walks inside, her ears drooping. She knew what that tone meant. She was about to have a talk. She says nothing, and simply sits down on her haunches in a chair to her right.
Her mother, Spoiled Rich, takes the chair across from her own, gets comfortable, and looks her straight in the eyes.
Immediately, Diamond Tiara tries to speak up. "Mom, I know what this is about and-"
Her mother cuts her off. "Oh, you do, do you? Then tell me. What is this about?"
"It's about...the fight we had a school."
Spoiled Rich sighs as she settles down, shifting a little to get comfortable. "If you know that, then you know what I'm going to say, don't you?"
Diamond starts to tear up, and when she speaks, there's a slight sad tone in her voice. "I know you feel like I disappointed you mom, but-"
"Disappointed me? No, Diamond. You betrayed me."

She looked up, tears welling up in her eyes as she said, "Mom, I just wanted to make friends."
"Friends? Friends with those hooligans, those barbarians, those...blank flanks?! You don't need those kinds of friends. You're a Rich, Diamond. You can have much better friends than those foals. Friends who recognize your worth, your talents, your power. Like Silver Spoon. She understands where she stands in the social hierarchy. By now, Diamond Tiara was sobbing, her face buried in her hooves as she cried and cried. She let out a sniffle as she looked back at her mother. How could she say all those horrible things about other ponies. About Silver Spoon?

"I may be a Rich. I may have everything I ever wanted handed to me, I may even have worth and talent beyond most ponies, but I never knew that until they showed me. I was never a good pony to them. And I never treated them like they had any worth, but they always at least tried to be friendly toward me. Instead I was harsh to them, and pushed them away for so long."
Diamond got out of her chair and turned toward the door, walking toward it ever so slowly. When she was finally at the door she said. "I may be able to have better friends, Mother, but I wouldn't trade the ones I have. Not for all the money in the world."
"D-diamond, please. Where are you going?"
"To see my friends. The ones that really care about me."
With that she walk towards the door, but stopped as she reached it. She turned her head to see her mother tearing up. She was sniffling.
Diamond smirked and giggled. But then her giggling turned into a full blown laugh as she glared back at her. "You're crying now? And after all that anger too."
She turned her head back towards the door and pushed it open with a hoof, stopping there long enough to say, "You know, you always told me not to fear the monsters under my bed. Diamond made her way through the path that split ponyville in two. She couldn't believe her mother would say those terrible things. She needed no guide to know exactly where she was headed. The Cutie Mark Crusaders clubhouse. Maybe they could help her.
She made her way into the orchard where she knew them to always hang out. Once she got there, she knocked on the door.
It opened to reveal Sweetie Belle. "Who is i- Oh! Diamond Tiara! Come on in!"

Diamond looked up at them, and saw all three of them looking at her. "Yeah, well...I thought I would pay you a visit this time."
