Celestia finally manages to capture chrysalis, but the changeling has one last request. To save her race. Saddened by her dying family, she entrusts Celestia with the task of birthing her daughter, the only changeling that'll manage to survive.

Using her magic, Chrysalis gives Celestia a child, hoping to save her dying race. Soon, she too dies, leaving behind a piece of her in a small child named Mirror.
