During the height of the Roman Empire, a Germanic tribe along the frontier of the Empire had begun raiding nearby Roman settlements along the Rhine river. In response to this, the 15th Legion, under the command of Lucius Maximus Darius, has been tasked with putting down these tribes and bring relative peace to the Roman frontier.

Before they could even reach the Rhine river, a mysterious mist surrounds the Legion, and they disappeared off the face of the earth.

They soon find themselves in a world not their own. Where a species known as the Caribou have enslaved the land of Equestria, brainwashing its male population while reducing the mares as objects of desire and lust.

With no support from Rome itself, and trapped in a place they know little of, the men of the 15th Legion must do everything it can to survive in this dark and uncertain world.
