Spike was trying to think of a good way out of the situation when he heard a knock on the door. "Pinkie?" Mrs.Cake's voice echoed through the door "Are you awake?" "She is not." Spike said, after a moment of silence. "Spike!?" She asked in disbelief "What are you doing in Pinkie’s room?" "She fell asleep on top of me." Spike explained, "And now I'm kind of stuck." There was silence for a moment. "Alright… well...I'm not judging. Anyway, when she wakes up tell her that we left for the family reunion." "Alright, I'll...wait, what are you not judging me for?" Spike asked, realizing he might be missing something. "Nothing, Nothing. Alright, we're leaving so you two try not to have too much fun," She said as she walked away. "Wait, I feel like something has been miscommunicated!" He called back, but Ms.Cake had already left. He heard giggling and looked up to see that Pinkie had woken up during his conversation. "What's so funny?" "I don't know, but I feel like you miscommunicated the situation too." She got up, and after helping Spike to his feet, removed Gummy from the top of his head "Alright let's get you home, your train leaves at noon, doesn't it?" Spike stretched as Pinkie set Gummy on her bed. "Alright, let's get going," Spike said as he and Pinkie left the room, the Cake's had already left by the time the two exited the bakery. "Alright, I've got to watch the shop, so I'll see you when you get back." Pinkie said as she gave Spike a hug goodbye "Have fun with Flurry Heart!" "I will, you enjoy running the bakery by yourself," he said turning to make his way back to the Castle. It wasn't until he got back that he realized he was still wearing his suit. "Oh shoot, hope Rarity never finds out I slept in this," he said as he walked in. After showering and changing, he put his suit away for another day, and walked back down the stairs. He went into the kitchen and found Twilight eating breakfast. "There you are! Your train leaves in 20 minutes!" She said, handing him a lunch box, "I packed you breakfast for the ride, and don't even think your not gonna get a stern talking to about last night when you get back." Spike gave her a guilty grin. "I don't know what you're talking about." He said sheepishly, Twilight gave him a stern look. "We. Will. Talk. Later." She said angrily, Spike turned and ran from the room as fast as he could. "Please let some random monster attack so she'll forget about it, please." He pleaded as he made his way to the train station, and arrived just in time for boarding. He made his way to an empty seat and leaned against the window. Looking out the window as he opened his lunchbox, he found an apple, a gem, and a juice box. He was about to eat when he felt somepony’s warm breath on the back of his neck. Turning, he found several Crystal ponies had surrounded his seat, looking at him in awe. "Oh, cram," he said just before he was jumped. "Can I have your autograph?!?" "Will you sign my face?!?" "Can I have one of your scales?!?" Spike was swamped by Crystal ponies asking for his autograph or his scales for the rest of the ride. 20 minutes from the Crystal Empire, Spike managed to convince them that he was getting off a stop before the Crystal Empire, then he threw on his emergency disguise in the bathroom: a Trenchcoat, Fedora, and fake Green Mustache. He waited on the train for a few minutes until the other passengers got off, then made his way off the train. Just as he walked through the door, he felt a cold chill go down his spine. Then he was greeted by Shining Armor, who had ordered the guards to temporarily clear the station of all civilians. "How are you, Spike?" "Hold up," Spike said as he looked into the air "I'm beating 8 seconds." "Beating 8 seconds on wh-" "SPIKE!!" Shining turned and moved just in time as his Daughter shot past him and slammed into Spike, who ended up on the ground getting hugged by Flurry "Your late" "Yeah, I thought I felt a Sensory spell when I left the train," Spike said casually as he got to his feet while still being squeezed by Flurry. "Honey, I told you to wait for him at home," Shining said as he looked down at his daughter. "No way, I've been waiting for him to come and visit for 3 months!" Flurry said, squeezing him harder "I've waited long enough!" Meanwhile, Spike was starting to lose consciousness. "Can't...breath..." He managed to say. Flurry quickly let him go, and he took a deep breath "Thanks" Spike sighed "Alright, let's get to the castle, I need to eat something, and my lunch box got nabbed on the train." Flurry immediately grabbed Spike's hand. "Oh! I can get you whatever you want Spike, we have so many different things for you to eat and drink. We’ve got Gems, Healthy food, Junk food, Health drinks, energy drinks..." She continued listing different kinds of Food and Drink as she dragged Spike behind her. Spike just managed to wave Shining goodbye as he was dragged off. Shining watched them go, then turned to the guards. "Reopen the station.” Shining said as he rummaged through his coat pocket for his ticket. "Aren't you going back to the castle, sir?" One of his guards asked. "No, Cadence left last night to make sure all our reservations were in order, and I stayed behind to greet Spike and take him to the castle, but Flurry's already got that covered for me. So I'm leaving early, and Spike’s in charge until we get back." Shining turned to get on the train, then stopped "And I better not catch wind of you guy's slacking off just because I'm gone." "Understood sir!" The Guard saluted and with that Shining boarded the train. The guard stood in silence until he was certain the Captain couldn't hear him, then he turned to his fellow guards and said,"Call together all the Guard's, drinks are on me tonight." "I can't eat another bite" he moaned as he looked up at the ceiling, Flurry, however, was trying to get him to eat just a little more. "Come on Spike," She said as she levitated a huge gem to him "I know how much you love gems" without even the slightest hint of hesitation Spike's tongue shot out, wrapped around the gem and pulled into his mouth. "Ok, now I'm stuffed" Spike declared as his stomach gurgled and he spat out a huge fireball, with a Smokey Cough Spike sighed "Alright I'm good to go," Spike said as he patted his stomach, "Spike?" Flurry asked, "How does your stomach work?" Spike raised an eyebrow "Why do you ask" "Every time I've ever seen you overeat you do that Fireball thing, I was just curious?" Spike looked at her and sighed "My Stomach is basically Like a bowl full of Fire when I overeat All I have to do is spit out a Fireball and I can empty it, the bigger the fireball the empty my stomach ends up. The First is basically my heart, If it goes out, I'd be unable to control my own body heat and I'd start freezing over." Spike ended with a sigh. "But...But I've seen you drink water all the time." "It's an extremely hot fire, I'd have to drink Ice Water non-stop for a week to extinguish it with water." Spike clapped his hands "And if your parents asked I can now Say I taught you something so let's go have some fun." Spike patted her head "What do ya wanna do?" Flurry looked at him for a moment then Sqused his face "I declare Pillow war on you." Spike had a twinkle in his eye "Your Pillow fort shall fall!" the two immediately began to raid every part of the castle for as many Pillows they could get their hands/hooves on. The Two stored their mass collection of Pillow and Couch cushions in Flurry's Room then began the construction of their forts. at first, it went smoothly as Spike built up his walls but he stopped when he heard Flurry's frustrated noises, he turned and found that her for kept falling apart as soon as she stopped using her magic. Spike watched for a moment as she tried to build it up again and decided to intervene, he walked over and waited for her next attempt to fall before coughing. "What?" She asked with an upset sniff "Mind if I suggest something?" he asked "Depends on what it is" she replied defensively, "I can't have my enemy build my fort, he'd exploit all the pre-build weakness he installed." "Oh, you actualy listen to your Father's speeches, Nice, but My suggestion is that instead of trying to do it all at once, try building it piece by piece, just because you can do it with Magic, doesn't mean you should." Spike picked up two large cushions. "I can place two at once, but..." Spike put the two down. "If I do it all two by two, it doubles the risk of a misplaced that could cause the entire thing.." Spike place two more on top of the other two, and almost at once they fell and knocked to previously placed ones to the ground, he motioned to the mess"..To fall down, you try." Spike took a step back and watched as Flurry levitated two of the pillow and placed them one at a time, slowly but surely she build the outer wall for her fort. "Wow, it worked!" Flurry Turned and Hugged Spike "Thank you." Spike smiled "Assisting is my Specialty" he declared with a salute then turned back to his side of the room, "But now I must become foe's once more, I only helped for the sweet feeling of beating a sturdy fort with my superior tactics!" Spike gave an overly exaggerated evil laugh and ran a goofy run back to his side leaving Flurry to laugh at his ridiculous behavior. after A while they both had Beuftifly crafted forts made of Pillows, a few matrices, couch cushions, and two towels for their flags. Spike and Flurry stared at each other awkwardly from each other's fort. "How do you fight?" Flurry asked "I have no Idea!" Spike yelled back, there was silence then Spike shrugged "Let's just throw pillows until one of our forts fall down." "But our forts are made of the Pillows" "That just means you have to use your Amo wisely!" Spike picked up several Pillows and launched them at Flurry who lit her horn and sent them back at him. "Ack! Wait that's not fair, I can't do that!" Spike called back as he was knocked over by the high-speed Pillow. "You never said I couldn't use Magic!" Flurry called as she used her magic to pelt Spike's fort until it collapsed on top of him, there was a moment of Silence and Flurry freaked out "Oh my aunt! Spike are you ok, I'm so sorry! I got to into it!" Flurry lit her horn and all the Pillows ended up against the wall, Unfortunately, Spike also ended up on the wall, Spike flopped to the floor and Flurry Teleported him to her before the Pillows landed on him. Spike took a deep breath. "I have lost in every sense of the word!" he Declared as he got to a sitting position and looked at his decimated fort. "I never had a chance." Spike Turned to Flurry who had started crying "I'm sorry! I slammed you into a wall!" Spike laughed at this "Flurry! I've been slammed by more Wall's and doors than I can count, I'll be fine." Spike spat a small bit of Green Fire and pulled a Tissue out of it "Here wipe your eye's and blow your nose." Flurry did so and sniffed "Can we do something else?" Spike Siped his tea and nodded "I don't wanna be wearing all this...but I'm totally rocking this look." Spike nodded and Flurry Giggled "Spike your so silly" Spike nodded in agreement and somehow managed to drink his tea without messing up his Make-up. "Next Time I get to make you wear something embarrassing." Spike took another sip and reached for one of the cookies he had baked for their party beforehand "Like a Clown Costume or something" he took a bite of his cookie and Flurry giggled at his statement "I'm not wearing a Clown costume, I'm a Princess." "And what makes you think I wanna be one?" Spike asked, motioning down to his dress "I mean, I know I'm rocking this, but I still prefer the non-dress look" Flurry snorted "I think the real question is how did you put it on with no difficulty? Even I still have trouble putting one of those dresses on, Is it not your first dress?" "Rarity is always having me test out her Dresses" Spike took a sip of his tea "And sometimes when she has a date she tests her make up on me, so I know my way around these things." Spike took another sip of his tea and looked down at Flurry "Tell nopony, I'd hate to lose what little street cred I have." Flurry giggled "don't worry I won't tell anyone...Miss Glitter scales" Spike snorted and facepalmed "Nooo, you made it worse!" He sighed and took another sip "So how have things been without me to do Awesome and Embarrassing things for you." Spike asked as he picked up a cookie and set his now empty cup down. "Oh things have been fine," Flurry said as she refilled his cup and added the sugar. "But its really boring, my parents are to busy to play with me, and being a princess means I can't go outside and play with other kids." "Because they're intimidated by you?" "Because all they wanna do is come to see the Castel, none of them wanna play with me because I'm me...they only like me because I'm an Alicorn." Spike munched on his cookie and stared at her in silence for a moment "Most ponies only wanna hang around me when they need a conveyance source of heat or need to start a fire" Spike took another sip of his tea "Heck, The Instructors of Twilights Test wanted to keep me at the school as a convenient way to light their hundreds of Chimneys." "Really?" "Yeah, But Celestia was having none of that" Spike took another sip "And so I was given to Twilight." "So Twilight's your mom?" "Naw, I'd say more along the lines of a sister really, It was Celestia that did most of the Baby stuff, I didn't live full time with Twilight until I was 4, and even then Celestia still did things with me every now and again." Spike once again drained his glass "But don't worry, just give it time, you'll find friends who like you for you, not for what you are." "Like you?" "Yeah, only they'll be ponies...and odds are any other guy won't be agreeing to wear a dress for you." Flurry refilled Spike's cup again and partook of the cookies. "These are good," She said as she ate some "Oh yeah, A special Recipe, only me and Pinkie pie know how to make these," Spike said as he took one and ate it, a short moment of silence followed as the two just ate cookies, finally Flurry spoke up "Can you teach me how to make these?" Without a word Spike spat out a Fire Ball and grabbed a piece of paper and a quill out of it, he wrote a quick message then torched them, there was another awkward silence as Spike sat without moving. "Um.." Flurry was about to ask when Spike spat the paper back out and read it "Pinkie said it's cool." Spike declared, Flurry coughed "Wait, how did she send that back to you?" There was Silence for a moment "I never thought to ask," Spike said rubbing his chin as Flurry ate the last Cookie, He got up and Curtsied "Now if you'll excuse me I have to go change into my baking outfit." and with That Flurry curtsied back to him and walked into the hallway to wait for Spike to change, after about 5 minutes Spike came back out wearing an Apron with the words "My Favorite color is Pink" Wrighten on it, and a cheff hat. Flurry snorted "Where in the name of Equestria did you get that Apron?" She asked as she held in her laughter "It's absolutely ridiculous!" Spike looked down at it and brushed himself off "I..um...accidentally took Pinkies?" he said with a shrugged, then Stood up straight and pointed down at her "I just wore a Dress for you, So I think we can both agree that this is not the weirdest thing you've ever seen me wearing." "Fine...I promise only to tell my mother" Flurry smiled and Spike sighed. "Alright, that's the best I'm getting out of you" He patted her on the head "Well then your Highness Shall we go bake us some cookies?" He leaned down and offered her his hand, She flew into the air and landed on Spike's Shoulder "I'm more than ready Spike," She said happily as the two made their way to the Kitchen.

"Why don't you know it?" "If I knew it then it wouldn't be a secret." Flurry looked at Spike like he was stupid "Hey don't blame me, that's just the Answer Pinkie always gave me when I asked" Flurry looked at the half-full vile "Why do you have some with you?" She asked as she lite her horn and began retrieving the things he had asked for. "Flurry as soon as I was asked to babysit you for the week I ordered this vile, I Thought you might like to try some Pinkie pie only cookies," Spike said as he picked up a large mixing bowl and measuring cups and began measuring ingredients for their food. "You talk about Pinkie pie a lot." "Do I? If you want we can talk about something else, Have I told you about my Friend Pumpkin?" He asked as he continued measuring out the ingredients, he poured some of them in the bowl and Flurry began stirring it with her magic. "You told me about her in on of your last letters, you mentioned something about flooding the Library?" "We also Flooded the Gala," Spike said as he cracked two eggs and dropped them in the bowl. "You did that!? Mom said Discord did it." "He took the fall for us," Spike said as he watched her stir "Try not to stir to fast, we want as much of the batter to stay in the bowl as we can" Flurry slowed down her stirring "Is Pumpkin nice?" She asked "Shes...not very open to making friends, but yes she's rather Kind." Spike smiled "I don't think either of us will forget the first time we meet." "What happened?" "We flooded Twilights castle" "So from what I hear you two can't be trusted with water?" "I'll have you know that we flooded the Gala with Cake! not water" "What!?" Flurry started laughing as Spike did three spins then set down the cookiesheet and bagan mesuring out the cookiedough. Flurry stood back and watched as Spike picked up the tray and with a deepbreath flamed the cookies. after continuiously blowing flames Spike stopped and smiled "Cooked to perfection" he said as he took one off the tray, he took a bite "Way to hot to eat tho, have to let them cool" Spike turned to Flurry "We can have them after Dinner" Flurry froze "But Dinner's not for another hour" she said as she took a step back "And that means.." "Yup!" Spike said as he turned to her "Bath Time!" Spike jumped and she teleported away cauing Spike to faceplant "ow" Spike groaned as he pulled himself off the floor "For the record, this is why I don't visit more often!" he said as he rubbed his snout, he was met with Silence "Flurry Heart! Come out right now!" He called out as he packed up the Cookies and placed them in a Refrigerator. Once again there was silence "And this is why I gave us an hour for a bath" he sighed "Alright, I'm gonna find you even if it kills me!" Spike looked around "Tho hopefuly it won't" Spike opened a door and walked in, he walked in and the door slammed behind him with a loud click "No." he said as he turned and tried to open the door only to find it locked. "Sorry Spike." "YOU ARE NOT SORRY!!!" Spike yelled back threw the door as he hit against the door only to stop "WHY DOES THIS DOOR LOCK FROM THE OUTSIDE!?" "I reversed the locks" "We've been doing things all day! you need a bath." "But I don't wanna take a bath!" Flurry whined "And I didn't wanna dress like a princess or get locked in a room." But both of thoese things have happened today." "I'll let you out...if you Pinkie Promis not to make me take a Bath." "I'm not gonna promis that! im excpecualy not gonna Pinkie promis it!" there was silence "Flurry?" Silence "Flurry?" more silence "FLURRY HEARTH!!!" Spike yelled angrily, still only silence "I've been locked in a room" Spike looked around walked to the window, he opened it and looked out, he was on the 5th story, "a fall from this hight would kill me...or at the very least seriously injure me." Spike looked around and tried to think of a plan, finaly the only one he could think of came to fluition "This is either gonna get me out of here, or get me killed." Spike took a deep breath "Flurry you have 5 seconds to open the door or I'm jumping out the Window." Silence "5" nothing "4" still nothing "3" not a word "2" Spike looked to the door, not a sound "Oh this is gonna suck!" Spike took a deep breath and Jumped out of the Window "I WAS RIGHT!!" He Yelled, imediatly regreting his decision, he flew to the ground only to be stopped midair, he looked back to see Flurry hanging out the window levitating him "WHY DID YOU JUMP OUT A WINDOW!!" She screamed at him "YOU COULD HAVE HURT YOURSELF" "YOU LOCKED ME IN A ROOM!" Spike called back "AND I WAS NOT SPENDING SERVERAL HOURS LOCKED IN A ROOM!" Spike pointed at her to speak only for her to drop him in a bush, there was silence then Spike's roar rang out across the empire "YOU ARE IN SO MUCH TROUBLE!!" He yelled as he ran twords the front door, only to be teleported. he blinked and found himself locked in the room again. Flurry waited outside the door "Are you still mad Spike?" She asked, she fell back when she heard Spike scream followed by a bone chilling Crack! She imediatly opened the door and found Spike with his head in the wall. he pulled away and left a Spike face implant in it, he took a deep breath and blew steam threw his nose, then turned to Flurry "Alright, relax" he said "your not in trouble, your not gonna be punished, and I won't tell your parents, but only if you let me give you a bath." "But I don't wanna bath." "But you need a Bath, and I need one now as well" he said motioning to his scuffed and leafy scales, now come one." Flurry murmered angrily Spike sighed "I should have just started with this...Flurry you have 5 second to agree to take a bath...or no more Cookies from me... "But.." "..Ever!" Flurry froze "No more Tea partys, and no more Pillow forts, you wanna treat me like your parents, then I'll treat you like a child instead of like a friend, got it?" Flurry lip quivered "5.." "Fine!" Flurry said angrily "I'll take a bath" She turned moodiy and Spike sighed "Thank Celestia" he leaned over and picked her up and she muttered "Can I still have my cookied?" and Spike laughed "For Dessert, now lets go get cleaned up, we're filty!"

He asked as it floated past him "I bought it from the Festival they throw in your honor every year" "Probably the same place Pumpkin got that Spike plush" Spike laughed "it so weird to see your self as a toy." "I can't imagine what it's like," Flurry said as used her magic to make her Squeaky shark attack her submarine and said "oh no a shark, send the SOS captain" Spike smiled and used his tail to send Tugboat Spike in her direction "Message received" he called as it arrived "Flurry wrapped it in her magic and made it attack the shark "yay Commander Spike and his mighty attack ship have come to save us!" she said as she used her magic to pull in a bar of soap then said in a funny voice "oh no, not the soap of justice," she said as she made it look like the shark was trying to run "You can not escape the might Attack ship and Ballerina Princess Spike!" "HEY!" Spike complained making Flurry turn to him "That's Ballerina Queen Spike to you!" he said as he failed to keep a straight face "oh no! he's become even more powerful!" she said using her shark voice, Spike laughed as he watched her play, he used his tail to grab his bottle of scale polish and started washing his head, Flurry ignored him and Made Ballerina Queen Spike and his Tugboat attack the evil shark with Soap. Spike took a deep breath and submerged making all the water in the tub swish around. underwater he rubbed her head and resurfaced to take a breath. using his tail once again he grabbed a brush and scrubbed his back. he turned back to Flurry and watched her play with her toys. "Great Queen Spike, we will forever worship you," Flurry said in a different voice as she slashed around "Alright, come here Flurry, time to wash your mane" "Daw," "Come not, thy Queen demands it," Spike said failing once again to keep a straight face. Flurry giggled and made her way to him as he grabbed her shampoo, Flurry turned her back to him and sat patiently as he started washing her mane "Don't you think you're getting a little too old for this?" Spike asked her "No, I take a bath with Mommy and Daddy all the time." "hm, fair nuff, alright dunk" Flurry took a breath and submerged her head as Spike scrubbed her mane for a second, he removed his hands and she resubmerged "Alright you can go back to playing with your toys" "Yay!" Flurry squealed as she made her way to her multitude of toys, Spike moved over to the deeper part of the tub and sank down to the point that only the top of his head was visual, after a moment the Bubbled covered his head and he was hidden. Spike closed his eyes "ahhh" he sighed as he sat there and enjoyed himself, Flurry was waving her Tugboat Spike around and giggling, when she looked around and noticed Spike had moved, he looked around the Tub, having been to busy playing to notice him slip into the bubbles. Spike sat down and enjoyed himself for a while before bursting out of the water Whoo! I need that" He said as he stretched, he turned to Flurry and was tackled "Not again!" he complained as the two fell underneath the water, "Oi? what was that?" Spike asked as Flurry hugged him "I've overthrown you, Now I get to be the Ballerina Queen." She cheered as she let him go and slashed him and Spike snorted "Please, you could never be the Ballerina Queen, Nopony could ever outspin we, mainly cause nopony can stand up straight or has toes Like I do" "That makes you a cheater!" Flurry complained "Hey don't blame me, Blame my DNA!" Spike scratched his head, "We've been in her a while..Alright let's get your dried off, it's Dinner time!" Spike cheered as he dropped her out of the tub and pulled the cork to drain the water, Flurry levitated a towel to her and started drying, while Spike set himself on fire then shook it off. Flurry flew into the air and back home, thinking of how to ask to go visit Twilight and Spike. Spike meanwhile turned a corner and found the ponies had surrounded him "oh cram" he sighed as they descended, only to be surrounded in an aura and teleported onto the train, he blinked and looked over at Luna, who was relaxing in her first class seat with him "Ready to get this guy?" she asked offering him a Drink "More than Ready, got his address?" "Done and Done" Luna responded as the Train began moving "Let's end this then," Spike said angrily as he took a sip of his drink, and with that, the two rode off into the sunset, determined to get their vengeance on some random pony they'd never met.
