Author's Note

This is my New Star wars Story after I was dissatisfied with my old one I hope you enjoy it. Not much is going to happen in the first chapter mostly just setting up the plot.

Chapter 1: Prologue

PROLOGUE

It was over the battle between Twilight and Tirek is over. The battle took a drain on her but thanks to her friends and the elements they were able to beat Tirek and restore peace across Equestria. It was not a battle without a loss though as Twilight's house was destroyed but thanks to the elements creating a new castle for her she wouldn't have to worry about going homeless or living with one of her friends. With Tirek defeated there can now be a lasting peace for a while.

But the amount of magic energy created by defeating Tirek would be picked up and felt by forces not of this world.

LOCATION: KORRIBAN, SITH ACADEMY

“The Republic is trying to push our forces off of Corellia, with the loss of the Bastion and the capture of general Rakton, i'm not sure our forces can hold the planet for much longer, I suggest we pull our troops, Corellia is a lost cause.” Darth Ravage stated in his report to his fellow council members.

“I agree with Ravage our remaining troops would be put to better use on other worlds.” Darth Marr stated.

“I too agree, Vowrawn your vote?” Darth Mortis stated looking towards the Sith.

“As much as I hate the idea of leaving a planet I spent a few months trying to conquer, I agree it's best that we pull out as soon as possible.” Vowrawn said putting his vote to the council.

“Then the vote is unanimous the Empire will pull from Corellia and if there is nothing else this council meeting is adjourned” Marr stated.

Just than a heavy wave of force energy waved over the Dark council members. The force energy was heavily bathed with the light side of the force. Unbeknownst to them it was the wave of magic created at Tireks defeat.

“What just happened? I felt like I went one on one with the light side.” Ravage stated trying to shrug off the feeling that the wave of energy gave off.

“This power of the light is unheard of, the Jedi could not have possibly gained this much strength in a short period of time so this must be a cause of unknown origins.” Vowrawn reasoned.

“I agree with Vowrawn it's very unlikely the Jedi were behind this, whoever cause this must be found and stopped before they undermine the Sith Empire.” Marr stated to his fellows.

“But where exactly did this strength of the light come from?” Vowrawn inquired.

In order to found out the answer to that question the Dark Council would have to meditate in the Dark side in order to find the source of the magic wave. Only through the power of all the council members would they be able to track down the source.

The council members than meditated in the Dark Side reaching out for who was responsible for this energy. It was hard to find the source but it was there; a lush planet filled with various creatures, a planet bathed in the light and barely touched by the Dark. A planet that has not seen the ravage of war. The council further pushed by trying to find the location of the planet, but it was not easy as the planet was heavily bathed in light that even the Dark council would struggle a bit trying to find it but after pushing they found it, the location of the planet.

“There you are, there is nowhere to hide, now that we know the sources location I will go and handle this personally” Marr stated. Marr than stood up and activated his holocomn revealing the image of Moff Cyrus.

“My lord what is it that you require?” the holographic image of Cyrus said before bowing in respect.

“Ready the fleet, we are heading to a planet in unexplored territory, here are the coordinates to the planet I expect the fleet to be ready to depart by the time I arrive.” Marr ordered.

“Of course i’ll make sure everything goes as you wish my lord.” Cyrus bowed than cut the transmission.

“I see you have a plan but what about the Republic and the Jedi? Surely soon they are going to try and stop us.” Vowrawn interjected.

Marr Looked at Vowrawn and simply said “than I will let them come.”

Marr than walked out of the Dark Council Chamber, knowing his mission, whoever or whatever caused this Energy must be stopped.

Twilight was going through the library of her new castle the amount of books that was already there astonished and amazed her. “This is so cool! So many new books that I haven't read or ever seen here in my library, I wonder what I should read first.” Twilight said finishing ecstatically clapping her hooves together, but that's when she heard whispers coming from one of the shelves. “Huh?” Twilight asked herself confused on what was causing that noise. Twilight decided to investigate what was causing those whispers. As she got closer to the bookshelf she could hear whispers and her body felt cold almost as if she were standing outside in the middle of winter.

As she got closer the whisper became much clearer and she can hear what they were saying.

Twilight was so confused she had never heard this language before. Twilight than quickly ran threw all the language books she had but couldn't find anything similar to what she was hearing. Twilight than put on a serious face and went over to the bookshelf and went through the entire shelf trying to figure out what was causing these noises she was hearing. Finally after throwing pretty much every book on the shelf onto the floor she found the source except it wasn't a book it was more like a glowing red Pyramid. The Pyramid would occasionally pulse almost as if it were a living creature but this object was odd, it felt cold and Twilight could feel the hair on her back rising just by being near this object.

Whatever this object was twilight could tell this was an artifact of dark magic. “Just what are you?” Twilight asked herself she than went through her books to try and find anything she could about this artifact but her attempts were in vain as she could not find any information on it which left her only one option.

She had to open the Artifact to reveal its contents.

Twilight was no stranger to dark magic, the problem arose when she spent too long around a source of it. If she spent too long around a source of dark magic she could easily become corrupted and under its control. Even worse when she considered that she was an element of harmony and you need all 6 element bearers to be of purity in order for them to work. So knowing the risks Twilight knew she had to be extra careful when opening this artifact.

Remembering the Dark magic spell Celestia taught her Twilight shot a beam of dark magic at the pyramid but after the flash of her spell wore off Twilight found that the Pyramid did not open there was not even a burn on it either.

“What? But that spell was supposed to be able to open any dark magic object! The only logical conclusion here is that this object is not of Dark Magic origins.” Twilight yelled out in frustration.

For the next 10 minutes Twilight attempted to open the Artifact but nothing would work. The constant failure was driving Twilight’s rage and she was going to break.

“Agh! Stupid Artifact why won't you open!” Twilight yelled out in anger before she threw the Artifact across the Library her eyes glowing slightly yellow for a second. The Artifact hit a wall than it finally happened. The Artifact opened up and Twilight saw this and quickly ran over to see its contents.

What happened next surprised Twilight instead of an item or scroll an image was projected from the artifact, an image of a pony. The pony was obviously male due to his stature and body shape. He wore what appeared to be armor and over it wore a black cloth. His face was concealed by a mask of some kind. What struck Twilight as the most odd was the metal cylinder clipped to his waist.

Twilight stared at the image speechless before she decided to speak up “Hi there my name is Twilight Sparkle what's your name?”

The figure replied to her question “Greetings Twilight Sparkle I am known as Wraith, A dark lord of the Sith and the first ever Pony Sith Lord. Know that you stand before pure Power itself."

Twilight tilted her head to the side confused “Sith lord?”

The figure chuckled menacingly “Oh Twilight there is much I can teach you, much indeed.”
