Luna was a treasure beyond any price or trade, as valuable as the air she breathed or Celestia’s own sun. 365,242 days, that's how long her spell had imprisoned the evil force that had consumed and become Luna on the moon and the only things that had kept Celestia sane in all that long age of waiting and longing was that the business of maintaining and improving her country was much more than a full time job and that it left little opportunity for distractions and that at all times she kept in the back of her mind the knowledge that Luna’s banishment for all its great length was hardly forever and that one day she would get her back no matter what.
Upon feeling her eyes growing wet Celestia mentally shook herself free of her revive and rolled her eyes in silent admonishment for dwelling on such unnecessary sadness for too long. It was foalish, she thought, to get so worked up when the single greatest object of her adoration currently lay nestled so close to her. “Yes it most certainly is.” Agreed Celestia as she too followed her Sister back into the bedchamber. She did pause, however, just long enough to look back over her shoulder across to the mountains on the other side of the valley to see the full moon peeking above the snow covered peaks.
Back in the tower the two royal sisters crossed to the far wall where an ornate stairway formed from polished marble blocks spiraled up through the celling of the bedroom. As Celestia followed Luna up he stairs she noticed how her sister was putting on a bit of a show by swaying her hips back and fourth while keeping her tail raised. “So.” Luna said turning around in front of Celestia.
