A long, long time ago, in the land of Equestria… Lots of ponies died. Oh, some blew up, others died of radiation, some even got the luxury of dying of shock, but nevertheless, they died. Balefire bombs decimated the country, wiping entire cities off the map and leaving others completely uninhabitable. Even the Princesses, whom we thought immortal, met their demise. It was like something had torn a hole in the country, (Not talking about the literal craters the bombs left.), ponies -no, the people as a whole, simply gave up on living.
This is the story of a young buck trying to survive and make his way in the wasteland, almost two hundred years after that terrible day of war in Equestria.
