After an alicorn from the nightmare realm sets a curse on the four princesses, chaos is everywhere and even discord can't do anything to help, so the princesses set out to find the alicorn in the nightmare realm. Seems pretty easy as Luna can try to go to nightmare realm but the problem was... Luna couldn't, so the princesses go to some other worlds trying to find a way to the the realm.
